The Sex Pistols (Paul Cook, Glen Matlock and Steve Jones) fronted by Frank Carter played the first of three shows on Tuesday to help save Bush Hall in West London. The band performed songs from their landmark ’77 album “Never Mind The Bollocks” (including God Save The Queen” – with lyrics changed to reflect current U.K. monarch King Charles III – and “Anarchy In The U.K.”) at the fundraiser for the historic venue. “It’s a privilege to help out a local venue like that,” stated Jones. “And it became obvious that there are many more fans who want to see us.” Following the Bush Hall shows the Sex Pistols plan to play London’s O2 Forum Kentish Town on September 26th. Original Sex Pistols singer John Lydon (a.k.a. Johnny Rotten) did not attend.
