How to complete all Midas Presents: Floor is Lava quests in Fortnite

A classic and much-loved game mode is finally returning to Fortnite in Chapter 5‚ Season 2. It’s all about staying ahead of the flood as you try to complete all of the quests in Midas Presents: Floor is Lava in Fortnite. A river of gold slowly envelops the land as you fight against enemies and a beautiful death. How to complete all the quests in Fortnite The list is long‚ and most of the quests are pretty simple. However‚ a number of them require some explaining. Build structured directly over lava (25) Simply build 25 different structure pieces over the slowly rising lava to complete this quest. Use a Harpoon Gun to pull a player into lava You’re going to have to be close to the dreaded golden lava for this one. Using the Harpoon‚ snag a player and pull them into the lava. I would recommend being on a structure already over the lava to make it easier. Eliminate players before touching lava (10) You will inevitably rack up these required ten kills...

Best perks and how to unlock them in MLB The Show 24

Your equipment may help you out‚ but what about specializing yourself in your unique role as a baseballer? Here are the best perks and how to unlock them in MLB The Show 24. MLB The Show 24: Best perks for your player Screenshot: PC Invasion Let’s get things out of the way: the best perks in MLB The Show 24 will depend on a case-by-case basis. This means that‚ depending on your Playstyle and position in the field‚ you will want to equip a different array of perks for you to boost your performance. For example‚ my character is a Two-Way Player‚ meaning that he is both a Pitcher and a Position Player. Moreover‚ he is a Closing Pitcher and a Power Hitter and plays in the First Base position as well. Taking all of that into account‚ I can have a better idea of what Perks to equip and what perks to avoid completely. In MLB The Show 24‚ many Dynamic Perks will help you out in specific scenarios. For example‚ I have collected the following: Recharge: Increases pitch velo...

Lightyear Frontier: Day/night and weather cycle‚ explained

Like all other farming games‚ players can expect a day and weather system in Lightyear Frontier. This guide will explain everything you need to know about the day/night and weather cycle in Lightyear Frontier to prepare you for your adventure. Lightyear Frontier day and night cycle From my time with Lightyear Frontier‚ I have noticed that the day/night cycle is shorter than most other farming games on the market. To put this in perspective‚ Lightyear Frontier has four times of day: Morning‚ Noon‚ Evening‚ and Night. Each period lasts four and a half minutes. I timed this myself to double-check. Morning: 4 minutes 30 seconds. Noon: 4 minutes 30 seconds. Evening: 4 minutes 30 seconds. Night: 4 minutes 30 seconds. In other words‚ a full day in Lightyear Frontier equals 18 minutes in real-time. This time goes by incredibly quick when you are busy gathering resources‚ crafting oils‚ farming‚ etc. Since planting seeds and growing crops is a huge part of the game‚ a...

How to refill Irrigation Hose in Lightyear Frontier

The Irrigation Hose is one of your most valuable tools in Lightyear Frontier. But the game is rather coy about how to refill it once you’ve used up all of its water and Fertilizer. Lightyear Frontier: How to refill the Irrigation Hose with water To refill the Irrigation Hose we’ll need to make use of the Vaccum Harvester. The Vacuum Harvester is used to suck up stray materials‚ berries‚ and most importantly for this situation‚ water. Any lake‚ stream‚ pond‚ or bit of the sea will do. Just take the Irrigation Hose‚ aim it at the water‚ and start sucking it up. This will automatically fill the water gauge for the Irrigation Hose. Screenshot: PC Invasion The Irrigation Hose only has a small capacity‚ so make note of any pools of water you come across. I even managed to listen out for any nearby waterfalls to find good spots. I also set up camp near a body of water in case I ever need a quick refill. How to refill with Fertilizer Fertilizer is a core item in ...

Who Is Robert Hur? How Would We Know?

Who Is Robert Hur? How Would We Know?

“Both sides furious” was one reporter’s summary when special counsel Robert Hur testified in a House hearing to explain his decision not to prosecute President Joe Biden for willfully retaining classified documents‚ not just from his vice-presidential years but from his Senate career. The network TV stories that night were the closest thing to “fair and balanced” we’ve seen in a long time. The Republicans decried the double standard‚ that Donald Trump is being prosecuted and Biden is not. The Democrats complained Hur’s report made Biden look feeble-minded (like nobody’s drawn that conclusion). But let’s take a look at the bigger picture. While Hur was conducting his investigation‚ we joked that you should put his face on a milk carton. He was missing from the press. Hur was appointed by Attorney General Merrick Garland in January 2023. Bill D’Agostino reported at NewsBusters that over about nine months of morning and evening news coverage—from Feb. 1‚ 2023‚ through Nov. 20‚ 2023—ABC‚ CBS‚ and NBC spent just four minutes and 52 seconds on Hur’s inquiry. But then there’s the breakdown. ABC aired 204 of those 292 seconds‚ or 70% of that airtime. NBC barely offered a minute (64 seconds)‚ and CBS offered one paltry‚ 24-second news brief. That’s not the way the network news covered Russian collusion and Robert Mueller‚ is it? They obsessed almost daily over that probe. From Jan. 20‚ 2017‚ through Dec. 31‚ 2018‚ NewsBusters reported the Big Three evening newscasts alone aired 2‚092 minutes on investigations of Trump’s alleged collusion with the Russian government. It should not be surprising that this was the single most covered topic in their coverage of Trump in that time frame. Here’s some rough math: Trump was punished with 858 overwhelmingly negative minutes on Russiagate in 2018‚ while Biden drew less than five Hur minutes over most of 2023. Very roughly‚ that’s about 170 to 1. But remember‚ the 858-minute number is only for the evening newscasts. If Trump was “scandal-plagued‚” the newscasters were the plague. If they made the political weather‚ it was a daily hurricane for Trump‚ while Biden was rewarded with “mostly sunny.” That doesn’t mean Trump was damaged. In 2018‚ Trump’s approval rating actually improved‚ according to the RealClearPolitics polling average. But that’s not how the anti-Trump media designed it. These numbers underline the fraudulence of former Washington Post Editor Martin Baron’s slogan when he claimed‚ “We’re not at war. We’re at work.” Metaphorically‚ they were at war under Trump as the Scandal Police‚ and now they spend most days at the doughnut shop. This is why the media has a major trust problem with anyone who’s not a Democrat. Trump gets Scandal Police brutality. Biden scandals are avoided until they cannot be avoided‚ and then reporters often repeat the taunting mantra of “no evidence‚ no evidence.” As if it’s not their job to look for evidence. This bifurcated media approach to scandal presents each and every Democrat prosecutor of Trump—whether elected or appointed by Biden—as nonpartisan and apolitical. Well‚ unless someone like Hur spurs a bad news cycle for Biden; then he’s a “Trump appointee”—ahem‚ before he became a Biden administration appointee. The Biden Justice Department is also treated like it’s as pure as newly fallen snow. People see through this. But journalists keep thinking that people are stupid when they don’t accept their preaching. Their eternally smug self-righteousness ensures they will never be trusted again.  COPYRIGHT 2024 CREATORS.COM The Daily Signal publishes a variety of perspectives. Biden Admin’s Huge Bond-Price Hike Would Kneecap Oil‚ Gas Production on Federal Lands

President Joe Biden attacks U.S. corporations for raising prices‚ but a new proposed regulation from the Bureau of Land Management would make it more difficult and expensive to produce oil and gas on federal lands‚ raising the price of American oil and gas—and increasing inflation. That’s why Rep. Lauren Boebert‚ R-Colo.‚ has sponsored a bill to defund the regulation. Although America has been a net energy exporter since 2019‚ and produced a record 13.3 million barrels of oil per day in December‚ this hard-won progress is now under direct threat from the bureau’s proposed rule. The rule would raise the costs of oil and gas exploration‚ driving small companies out of the oil business and limiting exploration opportunities for larger companies. Boebert’s Restoring American Energy Dominance Act seeks to nullify the BLM’s damaging leasing rule and prevent the Biden administration from pursuing any similar policies. If signed into law‚ the bill would benefit American consumers and small businesses—and national security—by ensuring our American energy resources remain accessible to safe extraction and‚ therefore‚ affordable. One of the most striking aspects of the rule is a substantial increase in bonding requirements for drilling operators. A bonding requirement is like a security deposit that companies pay to the government. Currently‚ the minimum bond for an individual lease is $10‚000‚ while a statewide bond covering all of a company’s leases tops out at $25‚000. The bureau’s rule would dramatically raise those minimum levels to $150‚000 per lease and $500‚000 for a statewide bond. Raising bond requirements increases the upfront cost for projects‚ demanding higher future profits to justify the expense‚ limiting the pursuit of projects with moderate profit potential‚ and stifling innovation. Small companies cannot afford the new bond prices‚ so that places those companies at a disadvantage. In addition to the problematic bonding requirements‚ the BLM rule proposes vague “preference criteria” that could be used to restrict leasing arbitrarily across wide swaths of federal lands containing oil and gas reserves. That would allow Washington bureaucrats to shut off access to energy-rich lands based on subjective judgments under the pretext of saving the environment. Leases could even be denied if there is preexisting production infrastructure in the area‚ creating a Catch-22 for exploration and discovery. If finalized and implemented‚ the rule would reduce the supply of energy and raise energy costs for Americans. Amid Germany’s renewable-energy mandates‚ German consumers pay more than three times more for electricity than do Americans. For German businesses‚ this means higher operating costs. Europe’s electricity has become so expensive that trade unions are warning of the threat of deindustrialization. The anti-fossil fuel policies of the Biden administration are steering America toward the same destiny. The BLM rule would reduce the resiliency of American energy to natural disasters‚ conflicts‚ or unforeseen crises that could disrupt global supply chains. It would lower oil and natural gas exports at a time when our allies need them. The rule is especially ironic because Biden says that his administration is cracking down on “corporations that engage in price gouging”; that is‚ getting together to fix prices at high levels. The solution to price gouging is to allow more freedom of entry‚ so new firms come in and provide the product or service at a lower price. Keeping small companies out of any business increases the risk of price gouging. Through innovative techniques such as horizontal drilling and hydrofracturing‚ America has vastly increased domestic oil and natural production. At a time of economic uncertainty and turmoil around the world‚ America should be doubling down on the major competitive advantage provided by our energy abundance—not squandering it at our own expense. The Restoring American Energy Dominance Act would preserve America’s ability to produce oil and natural gas‚ benefiting the American economy and global allies alike.
