Two Terror Attacks Linked?

Joe Scarborough chose a good day to be absent from Morning Joe. He wasn't exposed to direct contradiction and disgrace for his blatant lie to Americans about Joe Biden's mental acuity -- or lack thereof. Even so, the show did its best to cover for Biden -- and for itself and the rest of the liberal media -- which for years buried the truth about Biden's shocking decline. The clip that Morning Joe played of Biden's comments on the ISIS-inspired New Orleans terror attack was bad enough. Biden stumbled and slurred throughout. But you'll notice an editing pause midway through the Morning Joe clip, in which part of Biden's remarks were omitted. Morning Joe had obligingly edited out the worst of the statement, where Biden totally lost the plot, and pitifully scrambled his way back. You can view here the bumbling that Morning Joe didn't want you to see. In the face of Biden's blatant incompetence, we will never forget this moment in March in which an angry Scarborough looked into the camera and said: "I undersold him when I said he was cogent. He's far beyond cogent. In fact, I think he's better than he's ever been intellectually, analytically. "Start your tape right now, because I'm about to tell you the truth. And f-you if you can't handle the truth. This version of Biden intellectually, analytically, is the best Biden ever. If it weren't the truth, I wouldn't say it." Yeah, well, Joe, we did start our tape. And it wasn't the truth. And you did say it. This sad shell of a man is who Scarborough would have foisted on Americans for four more years if he could have gotten away with it -- until Biden's disastrous debate performance made sustaining the charade impossible.  But even now, as in today's Morning Joe clip, the liberal media continues to try to cover for Biden. It's as if they don't want the American people to realize just how bad it would have been if, with the MSM's connivance, Biden had managed to get back into the White House for another term. Let's play those now.  JOE BIDEN: I know I can speak for all Americans when I say our hearts are with the people of New Orleans after the despicable attack that occurred in early morning hours.  To all the families of those who were killed, to all those who were injured, to all the people of New Orleans who are grieving today, I want you to know, I grieve with you. Our nation grieves with you. We're going to stand with you as you mourn and as you heal in the weeks to come.  The FBI also reported to me that mere hours before the attack, he posted videos on social media indicating that he was inspired by ISIS, expressing a desire to kill, a desire to kill.  LEMIRE: That was President Biden last night at Camp David. 

Lately, numerous potential victims of violent crimes have resorted to self-defense, often with remarkable bravery, to protect themselves from harm. On the other hand, the intended targets of a brazen public shooting in a Bronx convenience store are being condemned for seeking their safety behind a 40-year-old mother who was present with her 12-year-old daughter. According to WCBS-TV, the shooting occurred just before 5 p.m. Monday afternoon. According to police, the shooters were two males who have not yet been identified or apprehended. They were apparently shooting at a group of people who were standing outside the G&W Grocery. When the shooting began, the intended victims ran inside the store for safety, whereupon one of them grabbed a 40-year-old mother who was present in the store and used her as a human shield. The mother was shot once in the stomach, and her 12-year-old daughter was also shot in the leg. Thankfully, there were no fatalities in the incident, but six people were injured, including the mother and her daughter. NYPD Chief of Patrol John Chell condemned the shooting but also condemned the "cowardly" response from the would-be victims. According to the NY Post, Chell said, "[It’s] a brazen and heartless attack on innocent New Yorkers and cowardly intended victims who used a mother as a shield." Chell also indicated that the motive for the shooting is yet unknown. The suspects are still at large, and no description has been released other than what clothes they were wearing at the time of the shooting. Presumably, those suspects have by now changed those clothes, making this information less than useful.Several area residents indicated that the incident has shaken their faith in the safety of their neighborhood. Area resident Darnell Smith told WCBS, "I can't walk in my own neighborhood with people shooting and carrying on like that. It's crazy."

Suspected jihadist Shamsud-Din Jabbar allegedly drove a pickup truck into a crowd of people Wednesday morning on Bourbon Street in New Orleans, claiming the lives of at least 15 victims. Just hours later, an individual driving a Cybertruck rental loaded with fuel tanks and incendiary devices pulled up into the valet area outside the Trump International Hotel in Las Vegas. While the Cybertruck exploded right outside the hotel's front doors, the vehicle's design helped ensure that only the driver was killed by the blast. Authorities are presently investigating whether the Las Vegas incident was a terrorist attack and have identified at least one thing the apparent New Year's Day attacks have in common besides their timing and vehicular nature. Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Sheriff Kevin McMahill indicated during a press conference Wednesday that the Cybertruck arrived in Las Vegas around 7:30 a.m. on Wednesday, then drove up and down Las Vegas Boulevard for roughly an hour. Just before 8:40 a.m., the Cybertruck pulled into the valet area outside the Trump International Hotel, then detonated. The truck's flatbed was loaded with gasoline canisters, camping fuel, and large firework mortars. Despite this combustive payload, the Cybertruck's design apparently saved lives. Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department "It looks like the exterior of that truck is completely intact as it sits there," said McMahill. "The fact that this was a Cybertruck really limited the damage that occurred inside of the valet because it had most of the blast go up through the truck and out." Tesla CEO Elon Musk later noted on X, "The evil knuckleheads picked the wrong vehicle for a terrorist attack. Cybertruck actually contained the explosion and directed the blast upwards. Not even the glass doors of the lobby were broken." An official briefed on the investigation confirmed to ABC News that the explosion was not the result of a lithium battery blast. Seven people suffered minor injuries as a result of the blast. According to the LVMPD, two victims were briefly hospitalized but have since been released. 'Trying to see if we can say, "Hey, this is a terrorist attack."' While McMahill was reluctant to confirm the identity of the driver, senior law enforcement sources told KOAA-TV that 37-year-old Army veteran Matthew Livelsberger of Colorado Springs rented the Cybertruck and was behind the wheel at the time. Armored vehicles and law enforcement agents in tactical gear were reported at the scene of one of Livelsberger's known addresses hours after the explosion. The Daily Mail reported that Livelsberger served nearly 20 years in the Army, 18 of which he spent with Special Forces. While authorities have not confirmed whether the two knew each other, Livelsberger at one point served at the same military base as Jabbar, the now-deceased suspect in the New Orleans massacre whom President Joe Biden alleged Wednesday was inspired by ISIS. Jabbar similarly served in the Army — on active duty from 2007 through 2015 and then in the reserves from 2015 through 2020. While it's unclear whether the driver of the Cybertruck knew or had anything to do with the suspect behind the New Orleans massacre, they both acquired their rentals from the same company. McMahill indicated that the Cybertruck was rented from the rental company Turo's app in Colorado and its progress was confirmed by Tesla charging station data made available by Elon Musk. The sheriff suggested it was a "coincidence" that the truck used in the New Orleans attack was similarly rented through Turo. Turo said in a statement, "It is with a heavy heart that we confirm that this morning's horrific attack in New Orleans and this afternoon's Tesla Cybertruck explosion in Las Vegas both involved vehicles rented on Turo." "We do not believe that either renter had a criminal background that would have identified them as a security threat, and we are not currently aware of any information that indicates the two incidents are related," added the company. The FBI is presently investigating the Cybertruck explosion through its Joint Terrorism Task Force and trying to determine whether it was a terrorist attack. After confirming the identity of the driver, FBI Special Agent in Charge Jeremy Schwartz told reporters the task force's second objective is "to determine whether this was an act of terrorism or not." "I know everyone's interested in that word, and trying to see if we can say, 'Hey, this is a terrorist attack.' That is our goal and that's what we're trying to do," said Schwartz. Sheriff McMahill speculated about the apparent choice of target, stating, "It's a Tesla truck, and we know that Elon Musk is working with President-elect Trump, and it's the Trump Tower so there are obviously things to be concerned about there, and it's stuff we continue to look at." Over the years, Apple has released new iPhone colors during the spring. While it skipped that trend last year with the iPhone 15 lineup, it's possible that the company might be preparing a new iPhone 16 option for customers this spring. While we haven't heard from a credible source that Cupertino will offer a new iPhone 16 color this spring, previous rumors suggest that this could be part of Apple's plans. For example, Weibo leaker Fixed Focus Digital, who has been more accurate often than not, predicted that Apple would release seven new colors for the iPhone 16 series. Still, Fixed Focus Digital suggested two other options: Purple Yellow In the past, Apple has offered iPhone models in these colors color, including spring versions of its fall releases. While the company once offered (PRODUCT)RED iPhone models, it doesn't seem we'll see a comeback of this partnership for the iPhone 16 series. While we still have to wait a bit longer to discover if Apple plans to update the iPhone 16 with a new spring color, we already know the company has an exciting start planned for 2025. We expect new MacBook Air models, the long-anticipated iPhone SE 4 (or iPhone 16E, as it may be called), the AirTag 2, and more.
