Welcome to Woke of the Weak, where I’ll update you about the most woke, progressive, insane, and crazy clips and stories that the left thinks is tolerable and well, point out why exactly they’re nuts. This week we examined some of the Pride parades that erupted across the nation. One was in Washington D.C. and featured nearly naked men marching down the street for little kids to see. A different clip from the D.C. Pride Parade featured what looked like a twerk-off. The worst part about the second clip was that a young child, probably no more than two-years-old, got a face full of one of the girls shaking booty. While on the topic of child abuse, a father (I think) explained how he and his partner are raising their child to be genderless and pick whichever (if any) gender they want later on in life. That’s lying to kids and teaching them how to live with a delusional sense of identity. Similarly, a drag queen freak visited a high school, and the U.S. Department of Education hung up a Pride flag for all to see that our education system is not only focused on education, but gayness too. We heard an influencer announce the winner of a free mastectomy and heard from a transgender woman who used manicotti to explain how he’ll get his penis turned into a vagina. To close, a man (?) with a blue beard conducted a belly dancing performance, and a drag queen - in about 10 pounds of makeup - strutted his stuff. On Monday, MSNBC’s Nicolle Wallace, host of Deadline: White House, interviewed Democratic Congresswoman Nancy Pelosi (CA) after bombshell never-before-seen footage from her daughter Alexandra’s January 6 documentary was released. But while the video showed Pelosi in the back a vehicle taking “responsibility” for the Capitol’s security, the intent of the interview was to let her dodge that accountability. MSNBC played a clip recently released by congressional Republicans of Pelosi from January 6th, but decided to cut some very important parts out of the video. In the clip they shared, Pelosi asked why the National Guard was not at the Capitol. In the whole, unedited version of the clip she openly admitted “I take responsibility for not having them just prepare for more.”   ? WATCH: pic.twitter.com/95a0totTWB — Oversight Subcommittee (@OversightAdmn) June 10, 2024   Wallace began as she asked Pelosi why she thought this video had “stirred up and a brouhaha on the right and in some corners of the media today?” Pelosi claimed it was because Trump and his “toadies” were attempting to “do revisionist history on January 6th.” She declared that “we cannot let us be dragged into their, again, false impression of what happened that day.” Pelosi very briefly mentioned the National Guard's absence from the Capitol as she exclaimed, “And yet this president who incited -- this former president who incited this insurrection would not send the National Guard for hours.” Unsurprisingly, Pelosi did not mention how she took responsibility for the National Guard's absence in the video, but instead she compared herself to President Abraham Lincoln:     PELOSI: Last night I received the Lincoln award. I was so proud of receiving that. And I said in my remarks, Lincoln built the dome on the Capitol. He insisted that it be built during the Civil War so that it could show the resilience of America. Wallace decided to praise Pelosi calling her a “tip of the spear figure in our politics.” But did not stop there as she professed that some Republicans she used to work for “have immense respect for your love of country and your patriotism.” Still not mentioning anything about the guilty confession clip. Instead, Wallace asked Pelosi how she thinks the upcoming campaigns will be perceived by the American people and allowed her guest to nearly four, uninterrupted minutes to bash Republicans and praised President Biden. “Well, let me just say that Republicans have always tried to wrap themselves in the flag while they denigrate it,” Pelosi chided. At no point did Wallace ask Pelosi for context or clarity regarding the video throughout this entire interview. PELOSI: Well, because the fact is that the president of the United States, the former president, and his toadies do not want to face the facts. They know how serious it is and was and continues to have an impact on our country. And yet they want to call the people who were in there hostages. Last night I received the Lincoln award. That died one way or another. And what did he do but try to deny that any of it happened. This is a terrible thing. But let us not take away the attention of what we need to do to go forward. We have to unify our country. We have to bring people together in a way, in a way that honors the vision of our founders. The sacrifice of our men and women in uniform as well as the aspirations of our children. I just came back from D-Day in Normandy to see our veterans there who -- the 80th anniversary of it – WALLACE: -- Yeah -- PELOSI: -- some of the youngest of them were 97, some over 100. They fought for our freedom. And yet you see how it is being denigrated by the former president and his Republican toadies. WALLACE: Madam speaker, you've always been sort of a tip of the spear figure in our politics. And you’ve always and I don't know that people know this, I don't know how much you like this said on TV. Republicans, my old boss included, have not even grudging respect, have immense respect for your love of country and your patriotism. Stuart Stevens made the point in the last hour that if this campaign is waged around big things like the flag, which Trump supporters denigrated on the day of the insurrection when they held it upside down, an upside down flag also on the property, the Virginia property of Supreme Court Justice Alito, also according to journalist Vaughn Hillyard showing up all around the country, leading to this movement of denigrating the flag, showing it in a sign of distress as a political statement, describing veterans as losers and suckers, something General Kelly had to come out and confirm on the record and say it was definitely true. I mean, if the campaign is waged around the flag, around whether men and women who die serving the country are losers or suckers or not, what do you think that campaign looks and feels like for the American people? PELOSI: Well, let me just say that Republicans have always tried to wrap themselves in the flag while they denigrate it. I come from Baltimore, Maryland originally, where the national anthem was written, and in the national anthem my favorite line is "Proof through the night that our flag was still there." We have to prove through the night of this activity that they're putting on that our flag is still there, with liberty and justice for all. But we have to run a campaign around the kitchen table issues, about jobs and access to health care and education and what it means for America's working families. That is how they make their decisions. The kitchen table is more important than the corporate boardroom table, around the cabinet table, anything. It is the most important place where decisions are made about the future. (…)

Hunter Biden was convicted today in part owing to the verified contents of his laptop, which the New York Post reported on before the 2020 election. A cabal of former U.S. intelligence officials released an open letter on Oct. 19, 2020, regarding the Post's Oct. 14 report about the discovery and damning contents of Hunter Biden's laptop, which the FBI had "verified" one year earlier. Among the 51 signatories of the letter were: James Clapper, former director of national intelligence under Democratic President Barack Obama; Michael Hayden, former director of the CIA under Obama; Leon Panetta, former secretary of defense under Obama and CIA director; John Brennan, former CIA director under Obama; Glenn S. Gerstell, former general counsel for the National Security Agency; Richard H. Ledgett Jr., former deputy director of the NSA; Jeremy Bash, the former chief of staff both of the CIA and the Department of Defense; and Michael Morell, former acting director of the CIA. Their letter asserted that the Hunter Biden laptop story was likely a thing of Slavic fantasy — that the story had "all the classic earmarks of a Russian information operation." While Clapper, Brennan, and the other 49 so-called experts were willing to admit in the letter to both not knowing whether the Hunter Biden emails provided to the New York Post were "genuine" and having no "evidence of Russian involvement," they nevertheless suggested a "laptop op" designed "to discredit Biden ... would be consistent with some of the key methods Russia has used in its now multi-year operation to interfere in our democracy." The letter was framed thusly by Politico and left uncorrected by the signatories: "Hunter Biden story is Russian disinfo, dozens of former intel officials say." According to the House Select Subcommittee on the Weaponization of the Federal Government, then-senior Biden campaign adviser and now-Secretary of State Antony Blinken got the ball rolling on this misleading and election-influencing letter. The letter was allegedly drafted with the aim of setting the narrative before the Oct. 22, 2020, presidential debate, wherein Biden ultimately used it to great effect. Blinken later denied conceiving of or soliciting signatures for the letter. Even though the story was undermined by the letter and censored online, the laptop was real all along, and its contents — like those of Ashley Biden's troubling diary — were as authentic as they were incriminating. FBI Special Agent Erika Jensen made this especially clear in court last week. '51 intelligence agents, that phony story. Remember?' Former President Donald Trump recently suggested that the 51 officials who leveraged their perceived credibility and former status to shield Biden from the truth may soon face a comeuppance. Trump was recently discussing false narratives spread by the Biden camp and broached the subject of the Hunter Biden laptop story. "51 intelligence agents, that phony story. Remember? 'The laptop from Russia,' they said. And they should be prosecuted for what they did, okay?" said Trump. "Let's see what happens. Ahead of Hunter Biden's criminal conviction, Fox News Digital reached out to the signatories of the October 2020 letter, asking whether they regretting misleading the nation. While some of the election-swaying former officials flatly say no, as in the case of Clapper, others doubled down. Mark S. Zaid, an attorney representing Ronald Marks, Marc Polymeropoulos, Douglas Wise, Paul Kolbe, John Sipher, Emile Nakhleh, and Gerald O’Shea, suggested the letter was important and signing it was "patriotic." Zaid even suggested that criticism of the letter amounted to disinformation but did not go so far as to pin blame on Russia. "There continues to be by many a calculated or woefully ignorant interpretation of the October 2020 letter signed by fifty-one former intelligence officials concerning Hunter Biden's laptop," Zaid told Fox. "A careful and objective reading of the document reflects that even today its content is accurate. It served as nothing more than a warning letter of what we have known for decades: certain foreign governments — including Russia — continue to try and actively interfere in our domestic affairs and our guard must remain vigilant. Every patriotic American should have signed that letter," added Zaid. Signatory Greg Treverton, former chair of the National Intelligence Council, said, "What we said was true, we were inferring from our experience, and it did look like a Russian operation. We didn't, and couldn't of course say it was a Russian operation. Enough said." Michael Hayden, who intimated late last year that Sen. Tommy Tuberville (R-Al.) should be removed from the human race, simply hung up the phone and dodged subsequent requests for comment. The Post noted that Panetta defended the letter in July 2023, saying he had no regrets about signing it. "I signed that letter for one reason, which was to make the American people aware that the Russians deliberately were engaged in a disinformation campaign in the United States and trying to impact on our election and trying to impact on our ability to have free and fair elections," Panetta told CNN. Concerning the letter's additional spin in Politico, Zaid told the Post, "With respect to the Politico story, had I been representing my clients at the time I would have certainly asked for them to modify their headline as it is too categorically and broadly asserted a conclusion that the letter did not." Television show "RuPaul's Drag Race" has raised $2 million in a little over a year to help the ACLU with a legal defense fund to protect drag queen performances.The television show is a series about men dressed as caricatures of women competing in pageant-style events in front of judges. The show has raised a reported $2 million in just 14 months for the ACLU's initiative, the Drag Defense Fund.According to the ACLU, the fund goes toward the legal defense of "LGBTQ rights, including censorship of drag performers themselves.""The ACLU is committed to the importance of drag as a First Amendment right and an important form of artistic expression. It will also fuel the ACLU’s expansive advocacy work in support of the LGBTQ community," the ACLU wrote in 2023.Several jurisdictions have put bans on drag shows on public grounds, typically under the guidelines that the shows are explicit and not suitable for minors.Just months after the legal defense fund was established, the ACLU sued Texas over what the group called an "unconstitutional drag ban."The lawsuit addressed Texas' SB12, which restricted "sexually oriented performances" on the "premises of a commercial enterprise, on public property, or in the presence of an individual younger than 18 years of age."A federal judge also barred city officials in Murfreesboro, Tennessee, from implementing a ban on drag performances being performed on public property. The judge's order came after the ACLU of Tennessee brought a lawsuit forward. The ACLU said at the time that the order "confirms that the community's free speech rights will be protected at the BoroPride Festival."The civil liberties group also claimed that that its legal defense fund was keen on fighting "censorship" in the classroom related to "LGBTQ" topics.Partners of the fund include MTV and World of Wonder, according to Variety. The latter is a streaming platform for drag queen television shows. "Drag has a long history in the queer community as not only a source of joy and creativity but as a source of power. Thanks to the hard work and promotion of MTV, World of Wonder, and the queens of ‘Drag Race,’ the Drag Defense Fund continues to fuel our work defending LGBTQ rights across the country at a time those rights are under relentless attack," ACLU attorney Josh Block told Variety.The lawyer specifically works on gay initiatives for the company as well as what was referred to as the HIV Project."We’re so thankful for this partnership and the support it provides our critical work defending LGBTQ people, our rights and our families," he added.The ACLU also coupled the fight against particular policies with the defiance of what they called "anti-trans legislation." In a devastating move, Alex Jones has agreed to liquidate his ownership of Infowars. Jones tells Glenn Beck that the hit comes after the chief restructuring officer overseeing Infowars after his $1.5 billion Sandy Hook case “got so desperate” that he tried to go around the court and seize Infowars. “They’re so panicked to get me off the air for whatever’s coming for the rest of the country,” Jones says, explaining that this all began when he refused funding from powerful people who wanted to control his speech. Before Jones had been sued, he tells Glenn that he “met with some of Bilderberg group members” and “some major billionaires.” “I’m sure you got reached out to by them as well when you were exposing Soros and trailblazing on Fox before they targeted you,” he tells Glenn, adding that these billionaires told Jones if he cleaned up what he did, they’d keep him on air and pay him. “It was all thinly veiled payoffs, and then when I didn’t do it, that’s when they, you know, cooked this all up. And of course a Project Veritas spin-off group caught an FBI/CIA agent, it’s all admitted, bragging how they engineered all this,” he explains. “And then again, in the Sandy Hook show trial case, they got the FBI agent who won $95 million from me — I never said his name, didn’t know who he was, till he sued me,” Jones continues. “He admitted that he basically helped organize all of this.” “This is all about targeting American people,” he adds, noting that this is now what they’re doing to Donald Trump. “They beta tested lawfare against me for Trump, now they’re beta testing, just grabbing stuff outside of law,” Jones says. “This is just as Trump has said a thousand times. A CBS News reporter spoke to a group of swing-state Biden voters who may be persuaded to support Donald Trump in the 2024 election. While speaking at a campaign rally in Nevada on Sunday, Trump promised supporters that one of the first things he will do if he wins re-election is eliminate the taxation of tips. 'That is enough to make them switch from voting Democrat to Republican if Donald Trump is promising something like that to them.' "For those hotel workers and people that get tips, you’re going to be very happy. Because when I get to office, we are going to not charge taxes on tips," Trump said. "We're not going to do it, and we're going to do that right away, first thing in office because it's been a point of contention for years and years and years. And you do a great job of service, you take care of people, and I think it's going to be something that really is deserved." The proposal is red meat in Nevada because "hospitality and leisure" workers comprise 23% of the state's workforce. Each of those roughly 361,000 people would greatly benefit if the Internal Revenue Service stopped collecting taxes on tips. It turns out the policy would also benefit Trump. On Monday, CBS News reporter Olivia Rinaldi said she talked to a group of service workers who confirmed they would change their vote to Trump because of his promise. "I did talk with some hotel workers yesterday, some service workers here in Las Vegas about how that is playing with them," Rinaldi reported. "And about six people told me that would change their vote," she revealed. "That is enough to make them switch from voting Democrat to Republican if Donald Trump is promising something like that to them." However, making the change is not out of the realm of possibility. If Trump wins the White House and Republicans retake control of the Senate and retain control of the House, they could pass new tax reforms that include the elimination of tip taxation. Considering that employers in most states are allowed to pay tipped employees a significantly lower wage than non-tipped employees, the policy would likely receive widespread support.
