The Super Bowl Crowd Reactions to Trump and Taylor Swift Tell You Everything You Need to Know About Post-Woke America

Forget the players on the field: The two most famous people at Super Bowl LIX in New Orleans on Sunday were President Donald Trump and pop icon Taylor Swift. One got booed, the other roundly cheered. And if you thought you knew which got which response, you apparently haven't been...

Democrats Are Threatening To Shut Down The Government To Stop President Trump’s Momentum

It doesn’t take a photographic memory to recall all the Democratic hand-wringing and pearl-clutching whenever Republicans have suggested it might be worth considering a temporary shutdown if it meant reducing the nation’s out-of-control debt. Since Election Day, however, the shoe has been on the other foot and now Democrats appear to be the ones rooting for a shutdown: Unhinged Democrats are being scolded in the House Chamber for their behavior as they toss and turn, screech and scream, after massive election defeat and spending bill defeat. pic.twitter.com/yBqIxXwv4S — Owen Shroyer (@OwenShroyer1776) December 19, 2024 In fact, Sen. Andy Kim (D-NY) seemed to say the quiet part out loud, acknowledging that the party is ready to initiate a government shutdown — apparently just because they don’t like some of the campaign promises Trump has been keeping since reclaiming the Oval Office. As The Hill reported “I cannot support efforts that will continue this lawlessness that we’re seeing when it comes to this administration’s actions,” Kim said Sunday on NBC’s “Meet the Press.” “And for us to be able to support government funding in that way only for them to turn it around, to dismantle the government. That is not something that should be allowed.” Kim joined the show on Sunday to discuss the ongoing action stemming from Trump and his administration. As Democrats grow frustrated with the changes, many are calling on them to protest. He argued that his party is ready to shut down the federal government over the various actions, including shuttering the U.S. Agency for International Development and Elon Musk’s Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) having access to federal payment systems. “I’ve worked in government. I’ve worked through multiple government shutdowns. I would be the last person who would want to get to that stage, but we are at a point where we are basically on the cusp of a constitutional crisis,” Kim said. “Seeing this administration taking steps that are so clearly illegal.” As Democrats like Kim fret over Trump’s actions, however, millions of Americans applaud the president’s effort to carry out his bold agenda: The people have spoken! #DOGE #ElonMusk pic.twitter.com/N0ldwj91DJ — Trump Girl (@MAGA__Patriot) February 7, 2025 Trump sees Gaza as new real estate where Israel will provide security. This sounds like American lives will be safe from any harm if his project goes ahead. After yesterday’s savagery, I hope he does it as soon as possible. pic.twitter.com/pUHpO2R117 — ???? ???? ♛ ︎ (@NiohBerg) February 9, 2025 13 years ago, Trump told us exactly how he’d use tariffs. The consistency is incredible. pic.twitter.com/eVWOjLlvaL — End Wokeness (@EndWokeness) February 3, 2025 Religious liberty has also been a major focus of the second Trump term, likely upsetting the so-called “humanists” on the left who are up in arms whenever an elected official reflects Judeo-Christian values. Vice President JD Vance addressed this Trump administration priority earlier this month, as the Daily Citizen reported: He continued: The church was a place, and still is, where people of different races, different backgrounds, different walks of life came together in commitment to their shared communities and, of course, in commitment to their God. It was a place where the CEO of a company and the worker of a company stood equal before their worship of God. … Are these not the kinds of bonds and virtues that lawmakers today should strive to cultivate? Well, I’m pleased to say that they certainly were in the first Trump administration, and they will be even more so in the second. The Vice President called the defense of religious liberty a “no-brainer,” but acknowledged that what many faith-filled Americans have grown to expect is actually a very rare right and privilege around the world. While the new administration is providing assurance that religious liberty will be protected, there are numerous pending cases of concern. A Louisiana law requiring public K-12 schools to post the Ten Commandments is blocked while a court battle unfolds. This past November a Christian woman prevailed in a $12 million lawsuit after she was denied a religious exemption over being forced to take the COVID-19 vaccine as an employee of Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan. Here’s a clip of Kim’s recent “Meet the Press” interview:

Here’s Who Else Was Spotted In President Trump’s Suite At The Super Bowl

From the star-studded halftime show to the multimillion-dollar ads, there’s always a lot more than gridiron action going on during a Super Bowl. But Sunday’s big game included the added bonus of trying to spot President Donald Trump, who became the first sitting president to attend a Super Bowl game in person. Prior to taking his seat in a suite at the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans, Trump greeted a number of individuals, including Chiefs defensive tackle Chris Jones: Chiefs star defensive end Chris Jones seeks out President Trump on the field to shake his hand in the pregame. pic.twitter.com/VoKma5KfGC — Clay Travis (@ClayTravis) February 9, 2025 As the game started, Trump was flanked by a number of other high-profile spectators, as The Hill reported: Before kickoff, Trump was seen speaking with NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell, New Orleans Saints owner Gayle Benson, and his daughter, Ivanka Trump. Trump’s son, Eric, and his wife, Lara, were also seen standing next to Benson during the national anthem. To the right of Trump was Ivanka Trump and her son, Theodore. Also sitting around the president were House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA), Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.), Sen. Eric Schmitt (R-Mo.), Sen. Tim Scott (R-S.C. ), Louisiana Governor Jeff Landry, Prince Albert II of Monaco, and National Security Advisor Michael Waltz were also seen in the suite. Trump traveled from Palm Beach, Florida, for the Super Bowl in New Orleans. He was joined by some of his children, as well as Rep. Tom Emmer (R-Minn.) and GOP Sens. Dave McCormick (Pa.), Graham, John Barrasso (Wyo.), Scott, Katie Britt (Ala.), Tommy Tuberville (Ala.), Roger Marshall (Kan.) and Schmitt, according to The Hill. The president’s attendance drew cheers and applause at multiple points during the game. WOW! At least 14 people were killed in the Jan. 1 attack and 57 more were injured. The 14 victims who were killed were 27-year-old former Princeton football player Tiger Bech, 26-year-old Drew Dauphin, 18-year-old Nikyra Dedeaux, 28-year-old single mother Nicole Perez, 37-year-old Reggie Hunter, 21-year-old Hubert Gauthreaux, Alabama student Kareem Bilal Badawi, 25-year-old Matthew Tenedorio, 25-year-old Billy DiMaio, 63-year-old Terrence Kennedy, 42-year-old Brandon Taylor, 40-year-old Elliot Wilkinson and 31-year-old Edward Pettifer. The suspect in the attack was identified as 42-year-old Shamsud-Din Jabbar, a U.S. citizen from Texas and an Army veteran, who died after the attack in a firefight with police. Some of the plaintiffs affected by the New Year’s terrorist attack on Bourbon Street in New Orleans have filed a civil negligence lawsuit against the city’s leadership and the private companies that were hired to consult the city about safety planning in the French Quarter. In light of the recent attack and Trump’s presence at the game, here’s a look at some of the enhanced security measures in place around the stadium and across the Big Easy on Sunday:

JD Vance Responds To CORRUPT JUDGES, Masterclass on Legitimate VS Illegitimate Authority

JD Vance Responds To CORRUPT JUDGES, Masterclass on Legitimate VS Illegitimate Authority

Vice President JD Vance isn’t one to mince words. And he just created the perfect 3-line social media post. Vance posted possibly the perfect analogy to make a much needed point on the CORRUPTION of judges overstepping their legitimate authority, and trampling on the legitimate authority of the President. He basically gave a masterclass in basic division of federal powers in just a few lines posted to his X account, but first… we need to set the stage. We recently brought you the story of federal Judge Paul Engelmayer and his own brand of lawfare against President Trump and the work of DOGE. The case in question was filed in New York City, by the New York Attorney General’s office. You know — good old Letitia James’ office, who has made her living off of harassing President Trump at every turn. The lawsuit led to Judge Engelmayer restricting DOGE’s ability to access the payment system of the U.S. Treasury Department. Here’s our initial report on that: BLOCKED: Judge Halts DOGE Access to ‘Sensitive’ Treasury Records After Payments to Terr*rists Discovered Judge Engelmayer's restrictions were couched in terms of privacy and a need to protect the Social Security and bank account numbers found within the system, as the New York Post reported: Early Saturday, a federal judge blocked Elon Musk’s Department of Government Efficiency from accessing Treasury Department records that contain sensitive personal data such as Social Security and bank account numbers for millions of Americans. US District Judge Paul Engelmayer issued the order after 19 Democratic attorneys general sued President Donald Trump. The case, filed in federal court in New York City, alleges the Trump administration allowed Musk’s team access to the Treasury Department’s central payment system in violation of federal law. The payment system handles tax refunds, Social Security benefits, veterans’ benefits and much more, sending out trillions of dollars every year while containing an expansive network of Americans’ personal and financial data. New York Attorney General Letitia James, whose office filed the lawsuit, said DOGE’s access to the Treasury Department’s data raises security problems and the possibility for an illegal freeze in federal funds. So basically a federal judge stopped DOGE -- working under the auspices of the President -- from accessing the payment system in the Treasury Department. Of course, even a rudimentary understanding of the powers of the Executive branch would be enough to know there's probably something wrong with that ruling. Elon Musk, though he definitely has more than a rudimentary understanding of the subject, chimed in first -- as soon as the ruling came down. This ruling is absolutely insane! How on Earth are we supposed to stop fraud and waste of taxpayer money without looking at how money is spent? That’s literally impossible! Something super shady is going to protect scammers. https://t.co/7Eyy9ZsN7A — Elon Musk (@elonmusk) February 8, 2025 Keep in mind -- the judge didn't even stop at restricting DOGE's access to the payment system. He specifically forbade all political appointees from accessing the system, which would obviously include Scott Bessent -- the Secretary of the Treasury! That ought to be all the proof anyone needs that this isn't a pushback against the perceived privacy danger of DOGE accessing the payment system, but a political stunt designed to thwart the political agenda of the President because they disagree with it in principle. Tough -- get elected President... and then you can push a political agenda.  Until then, those operating in the judiciary and court system are supposed to be apolitical in nature. Maybe that judge need to be restricted from accessing his court room, and that Attorney General needs to be restricted from prosecuting cases? That would be a more JUST use of authority, truth be told. At any rate, today... JD Vance entered the chat. And he brought the sort of pinprick logic that made me wish for the chance to binge watch season after season of an imaginary reality show featuring JD Vance debating every "woke" progressive that could be tempted into the ring with him. Here's his logic: If a judge tried to tell a general how to conduct a military operation, that would be illegal. If a judge tried to command the attorney general in how to use her discretion as a prosecutor, that's also illegal. Judges aren't allowed to control the executive's legitimate power. — JD Vance (@JDVance) February 9, 2025 If a judge tried to tell a general how to conduct a military operation, that would be illegal. If a judge tried to command the attorney general in how to use her discretion as a prosecutor, that's also illegal. Judges aren't allowed to control the executive's legitimate power. Not only is that a masterclass in the American version of the division of federal powers... It's also a masterclass in LEGITIMATE authority. But we have normalized the concepts of manipulation on emotional grounds to the point we can't really even grapple with the concept of simply recognizing legitimate authority versus illegitimate authority -- and treating them accordingly in each case. But that's exactly the point JD Vance is making. There is legitimate authority held by a military General, for example.  And it would be an example of illegitimate authority for a judge to OVERSTEP his legitimate authority in such a way that presumes upon the legitimate authority of the General. So as with a judge, an Attorney General, and as he ultimately includes -- a Executive. Simply put, to usurp the legitimate authority of another is to exercise illegitimate power yourself. And for a judge to presume to restrict the legitimate authority of a president -- the executive -- is in itself the illegitimate use of the judge's authority. It is an overstep... which is exactly what the Trump administration called it, according to reporting by CNN: A federal judge, citing a risk of “irreparable harm,” has temporarily restricted Elon Musk’s government efficiency team from accessing a critical Treasury Department payment system. The judge’s order, issued early Saturday, temporarily halts access to a sensitive payment system that distributes Americans’ tax returns, Social Security benefits, disability payments and federal employees’ salaries. US District Judge Paul Engelmayer ordered the destruction of any downloaded information from the payment system by anyone given access to it since January 20, citing “the risk that the new policy presents of the disclosure of sensitive and confidential information and the heightened risk that the systems in question will be more vulnerable than before to hacking.” A hearing on the matter was set for February 14. The White House called Saturday’s order “judicial overreach.” To which case, I agree with Elon Musk's line of thinking when he attempted to come up with a solution that might weed out the most corrupt and incompetent Judges -- which they surely are if they presume to have the authority to overstep the legitimate authority of the Executive Branch of our government. A judge who doesn't understand that literally knows nothing about the judiciary system in which he works. Or, else... as Musk allowed for... he might just be corrupt, and not care. Here's Elon's idea: I’d like to propose that the worst 1% of appointed judges, as determined by elected bodies, be fired every year. This will weed out the most corrupt and least competent. — Elon Musk (@elonmusk) February 9, 2025 While that may not fix the problem as it is in this moment... it might actually be a worthwhile avenue to explore in coming up with some type of mechanism for the future. Then again, stupid is hard to fix. And a stupid judge is probably harder to fix than a regular stupid person... simply because they're going to be more prone to arrogance; being that they're a judge and all. Which is why you need a system for voting out the inept alongside the corrupt. From my vantage point, they seem to be one and the same -- particularly those appointed by democrats. Funny how that works.

BREAKING: President Trump ENDS Production of Pennies

This just in: President Trump is ending the production of pennies. On Sunday evening, President Trump posted on Truth Social that he has ordered the US Treasury to stop minting new pennies, citing wastefulness. It’s a business decision: pennies cost more than they’re worth to produce at $0.02 per new penny minted. “Let’s rip the waste out of our great nations budget, even if it’s a penny at a time,” President Trump stated. BREAKING: President Trump instructs the Secretary of the Treasury to stop production of the penny pic.twitter.com/ZuVkDRabch — Rapid Response 47 (@RapidResponse47) February 10, 2025 BREAKING: While at the Super Bowl, President Trump ends production of new pennies that cost us 2 cents each to mint. pic.twitter.com/vfdgtnP9AO — Charlie Kirk (@charliekirk11) February 10, 2025 Keep in mind that President Trump is still at the Super Bowl while making this pretty big announcement. This man never stops working! #BREAKING: President Trump has just ORDERED the Treasury to STOP producing penny 47 is still working for the people in the middle of the Super Bowl! “Let’s rip the waste out of our great nation’s budget, even if it’s a penny at a time,” Trump said. pic.twitter.com/VyRtcZVBNc — Nick Sortor (@nicksortor) February 10, 2025 That…or maybe President Trump wasn’t a fan of the Halftime Show… Trump was so bored of that Halftime show that he decided to get to work by ordering the Treasury to stop producing pennies. We have a once-in-a-generation president on our hands, people. pic.twitter.com/o1PiOqyPqM — George (@BehizyTweets) February 10, 2025 AP News reported: President Donald Trump says he has directed the Treasury Department to stop minting new pennies, citing the cost of producing the one-cent coin. “For far too long the United States has minted pennies which literally cost us more than 2 cents. This is so wasteful!” Trump wrote in a post Sunday night on his Truth Social site. “I have instructed my Secretary of the US Treasury to stop producing new pennies.” Trump’s new administration has been sharply focused on cutting costs, targeting entire agencies and large swaths of the federal workforce for dismissal. The Hill added: President Trump on Sunday announced that he asked the Treasury Department to stop producing pennies, calling the one cent coin wasteful… The cost of making a penny was nearly 3.7 cents in Fiscal Year 2024 and the coin has cost above face value to make for 19 consecutive fiscal years, according to the U.S. Mint’s annual report. Pennies were made of copper before 1962 and are currently made majority of zinc but with copper plating. Lincoln has been on the penny since 1909 and the penny was the first coin made by the U.S. Mint, according to the Treasury Department.

WATCH: Pro-Palestinian Protestor Runs onto Field During Super Bowl Halftime Show

This is crazy… A pro-Palestinian protestor somehow snuck onto the field during the Super Bowl Halftime show today. The man pulled out a Palestinian/Sudanese flag and proceeded to run across the field for several minutes. Finally, security jumped into action, chased him down, tackled, and apprehended him. Watch the moment for yourself: BREAKING: Pro-Palestine protestor interrupted the halftime show and got chased off pic.twitter.com/aCcHgOkxJW — Eric Daugherty (@EricLDaugh) February 10, 2025 THIS IS WILD A PERSON WAVING A PALESTINIAN FLAG SNUCK INTO THE MIDDLE OF THE HALFTIME SHOW AND WAS THERE FOR A COUPLE MINUTES WAVING THE FLAG. COPS THEN SPOTTED HIM, TACKLED HIM, ARRESTED HIM, AND TOOK HIM OUT OF THE STADIUM. pic.twitter.com/woZCc71w4h — MLFootball (@_MLFootball) February 10, 2025 Here’s another angle: Here’s the (looks like a) Palestinian flag guy getting taken down during the @kendricklamar halftime show at the #SuperBowl woah pic.twitter.com/wKkPi6O3Xn — Jared Kleinstein (@jarzod) February 10, 2025 And, here are some photos: A man with the Palestinian flag got onto the field at the Superdome during halftime but was tackled by security. White House staff and reporters were already hustling to the motorcade at the time. Photos shared with me by an Iowan in the crowd. https://t.co/B6TVDVamTN pic.twitter.com/XCuiM30JhW — Jennifer Jacobs (@JenniferJJacobs) February 10, 2025   The cops taking him out of the building … https://t.co/iz0vWReH3f pic.twitter.com/ia9m4DZbZW — Albert Breer (@AlbertBreer) February 10, 2025 Fox News reported on what happened: A man appeared to sneak into Kendrick Lamar’s performance at halftime of Super Bowl LIX. Lamar performed several of his hits, including “Not Like Us,” “Be Humble” and “DNA,” and he was surrounded by numerous performers. However, the person was able to get onto the field and hold up a Palestinian flag during the show at the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans. During Lamar’s performance of his new hit “tv off,” the man held the flag on top of a prop car, and then ran onto the field with the flag. The person wandered back and forth on the field before members of security arrived. The man was dragged off of the field. The protest took place with Trump in attendance at the game, marking the first time a sitting president has ever attended the Super Bowl. The New York Post added: A Super Bowl 2025 protestor snuck onto the stage during Kendrick Lamar’s halftime show performance and waved a combined Palestinian and Sudanese flag before being corralled by security. The flags had “Gaza” written on the Palestinian flag and “Sudan” on the Sudanese flag. The protestor managed to jump on stage and wave the flags for several seconds before he jumped down to the field and ran around a bit longer. Security eventually tackled him and arrested him as they removed him from the field. Israel and Hamas, the terrorist organization that represents Palestinians in Gaza, are currently in the middle of a six-week truce after a ceasefire deal was reached following nearly 500 days of war stemming from Hamas’ brutal Oct. 7, 2023 attack, which killed nearly 1,200 civilians. So, let’s get this straight: a random Palestinian protestor was somehow able to get past all security measures at such a high-profile event as the Superbowl? The Superbowl should already have lock-tight security, but even more so since the sitting president was attending at the time… And, furthermore, this guy was able to run around the field for quite awhile before security apprehended him. This does not sound good at all… Folks on X are asking similar questions: How is that allowed when you have the president of the United States in the building. Hello Secret Service. — Dave Bondy (@DaveBondyTV) February 10, 2025 Not a great look with POTUS in attendance. Hope things are locked down. — Locke (@LockeMeta) February 10, 2025 How do you run that long on the field at the Super Bowl and security isn’t tackling you to the ground? — James Lasher (@TheJamesLasher) February 10, 2025
