Groom Can’t Stop Cracking Up When He Turns Around For First Look With His “Bride”

There are lots of special moments to include on your wedding day. A particularly popular one, of course, is called the “first look.” Typically, this is a private moment that takes place just before the ceremony. Usually, it give a groom the opportunity to get a first look at their beautiful bride who, at this point, is all dressed up for the big day. That being said, sometimes a first look is also for dads, grandparents, or another special loved one. But not everyone goes the emotional route for a first look! Instead, some folks do what is called a first look prank. Rather than having the beautiful bride show up for the groom, it’s a guy donning a wedding dress. Who this guy is, exactly, varies. Often, it’ll be the best man or someone else close to the groom. Other times, it’ll be his father-in-law. No matter the case, one thing is always the same: It’s absolutely hilarious! Watch the video below for a compilation of some of the best ones. @bestviralvids33 Funny First Look Prank #prank #funny #humor #bride #groom #wedding ♬ original sound – bestviralvids33 As you can see, you never know exactly how a groom will respond to being pranked in this way. While some lean into the joke, happily taking their “bride” in their arms, others have no choice but to double-over in laughter. And can you blame them? I doubt many, if any of them, expected something like this! When a First Look Turns Out to be a Prank (Almost) Everyone Wins Pranks can be tricky. Although they can be funny, they can sometimes be harmful. That’s part of the reason why so many people love the first look prank. At the end of the day, nobody is getting harmed — well, minus the pain from laughing too much! “Now THIS is a great wedding prank!!!!!” someone in the comment section writes, with another person adding, “We did this at mine. My hubby fell over laughing. Got the nerves out and [had] a great giggle.” You can find the source of this story’s featured image here! Coming to History Hit in September

Galloway Hoard Coming out 5 September The Galloway Hoard is an incredible Viking age Hoard found in 2014 by metal detectorists in Galloway, western Scotland, that has changed the way historians are thinking about Viking age Britain. Amongst the hundreds of objects discovered, there were many that were totally unique and unusual for a viking age hoard of this period (buried 900AD). After years of conservation and research at National Museum of Scotland, a lot of the hoard went on display in 2021-2022. However, not all of the items found were able to be conserved and fully studied in time. The “Unwrapping the Galloway Hoard Project” started in 2021, which is the second spell of research and conservation into the remaining few items. This is AHRC-funded. NMS are releasing their new findings on 1st Sept 2024 from the “Unwrapping” project. History Hit are going to their collections centre to see the Hoard, meet the research and conservation team, and talk to Dr Martin Goldberg, Principal Investigator of the “Unwrapping” project. Sign up to watch Stalingrad: The Last Letters Coming out 12 September The German defeat at Stalingrad marked the psychological turning point of the Second World War. But just 12 months earlier, soldiers of the Wehrmacht were eagerly awaiting the return of the new campaign season, confident that they would finally defeat Stalin’s forces and return home victorious.  What follows is a day-by-day account of the battle as told by the men who fought it – their experiences, documented in letters and diaries written on the front line, provide a unique insight into the struggle faced by those fighting for Hitler.  Many were dedicated “Nazis”, driven by ideology, willing standard-bearers of National Socialism. Others were ordinary family men conscripted and forced to fight for a criminal regime. It’s through their words that we will experience the horrors of Stalingrad. Sign up to watch
