If this joyful and musical clip doesn’t make you smile, I don’t know what could! To be able to perform the tune three decades later is no small feat. What a joy to see the way their performance translates in person! The Event This performance — The Lion King 30th Anniversary: A Live-to-Film Concert Event — took place at the Hollywood Bowl at the end of May 2024. The venue went all out to bring the animation to life, as you can see by the decked out stage! As Nathan and Ernie sang, the lights on the concert hall showed animations from the film.
