Nearly three decades after Frank Sinatra’s death from a heart attack in 1998, there have been talks to produce a biopic in his honor by Martin Scorsese and another with writer Paul Schrader as director. However, Frank’s daughters do not seem to welcome the idea. His eldest, Nancy, has been vocal about her opinion and has subtlely jabbed the news on social media. At the same time, Frank’s daughter Tina, who runs the late legend’s estate, reportedly squashed the ongoing project meant to feature Kevin Spacey as Frank. Kevin Spacey allegedly wanted to play Frank Sinatra in upcoming biopic TAKE ME OUT TO THE BALL GAME, Frank Sinatra, 1949 Amid rumors of sexually inappropriate behavior and misconduct, Spacey was deemed Schrader’s best fit to portray Frank, noting that he would not have used him if he got convicted. Schrader added that Spacey “would have been good” since he played “a great Bobby Darin in ‘Beyond The Sea.’” Sadly, Tina refuses to grant her permission to proceed with the biopic.
