Massive Lines Spotted Outside Trump’s Victory Rally

President Trump’s Victory Rally in Washington D.C. is underway and thousands have already entered into Capital One Arena. On early Sunday morning, Trump supporters started to line up as early as 5:00 a.m. in the frigid weather. Take a look at the lines: I can’t describe how long the lines are to get into Trump’s final rally before he’s sworn in as 47. It’s incredible. People are traveling from all over the US—and the world—and waiting in line in the snow for a chance to see the rally and President Trump. Will the MSM show it? pic.twitter.com/B4Aj6C6F2y — Julia (@Jules31415) January 19, 2025 This is about one third of the line for President Trump’s victory rally. The line goes on for another 15-20 minutes further. I’ve been covering rallies since 2022, and I’ve never seen a crowd this big. pic.twitter.com/CCPkSdUuGD — Daniel Baldwin (@baldwin_daniel_) January 19, 2025 THE LINE FOR THE TRUMP VICTORY RALLY IS MASSIVE It took me nearly an hour to walk from the front of the line to the end. We the People are waiting in freezing rain and cold weather to see our President. Even with the weather, their spirits were HIGH! We have hope again! pic.twitter.com/GfmEkXdlL6 — Diligent Denizen (@DiligentDenizen) January 19, 2025 There’s more: Trump Surfing Downtown In DC pic.twitter.com/vj4h7ofRoI — Anthony Scott (@AnthonyScottTGP) January 19, 2025 Per The New York Post: Thousands of Trump supporters powered through chilly and rainy weather to wait in line for hours to get into the president-elect’s “victory rally” at DC’s Capitol One Arena later in the day. MAGA fans amassed outside the venue starting around 6 a.m., long before the venue opened for the 5 p.m. rally. The line quickly extended back several blocks despite the inclement weather. Temperatures hovered around the upper 30s but were forecast to dip further, and the rain was expected to turn into snow later in the day. The city already has a hypothermia alert in effect.

‘It’s An Honor’: Rapper Nelly Responds To Haters Upset By His Inauguration Performance

If it wasn’t already obvious that President Donald Trump’s second term has attracted supporters from all walks of life, just take a look at the musical artists who have agreed to perform during his inauguration ceremony. Nelly, the rapper known for his massive hit “Hot In Herre,” recently said he was honored to have the opportunity even as many media figures and even some of his Trump-hating fans raked him over the coals for it. As Fox News reported: “I’m not doing this for money. I’m doing this ’cause it’s an honor. I respect the office,” the St. Louis native said in a live conversation with fellow rapper, Willie D. “It don’t matter who is in office. The same way that our men and women, our brothers and sisters who protect this country, have to go to war and have to put their life on the line for whoever [is] in office,” the rapper, who was born on a military base, continued. “So, if they can put their life on the line for whoever [is] in office, I can damn sure perform for whoever [is] in office.” A source close to the artist told Fox News Digital that in addition to his father, Nelly’s aunts and uncles “all served in the military for our democracy and the right for us all to vote. He has personally stayed away from politics and wouldn’t participate in campaigning for anyone, but this performance is for the highest office,” reaffirming that the 50-year-old considers the performance to be “an honor.” During the conversation with Willie D., the “Hot in Herre” singer also spoke directly to his critics, balking at the suggestion that Trump was a white supremacist. “I would ask them to show me where he’s a white supremacist,” Nelly retorted. His respectful remarks were applauded by many on social media, though more than a few were still upset about the performance: Good for you Nelly — Dawn (@LongIslandDawn) January 19, 2025 What I don’t understand about the Black community is that some are saying they’re about to block Nelly for performing at Trump’s inauguration, yet they still listen to R. Kelly’s music—a man known for sleeping with underage girls. pic.twitter.com/1dzEPb2LAW — Nique (@UnadornedBliss) January 17, 2025 Snoop Dogg also courted controversy by agreeing to perform ahead of the inauguration despite his previously harsh assessment of Trump’s first term: Snoop Dogg in 2017 called people performing at Trump’s inauguration ‘jigaboo as* ni***s’ He was performing at Trump’s Crypto Ball the other day What changed? pic.twitter.com/aoErXwAYWa — RT (@RT_com) January 19, 2025 Here are some other artists on hand to perform in D.C. for the inauguration, per KTLA: At Monday’s swearing-in ceremony, eight-time Grammy winner Carrie Underwood will sing “America the Beautiful,” and the national anthem will be sung by opera tenor Christopher Macchio. The Make America Great Again Victory Rally will feature performances by ardent Trump supporter Kid Rock as well as The Village People, who took to social media to state that their performance is not an endorsement of the President-elect “no matter what [anyone says] to the contrary” and that the band supports the fact that America has a new president who should receive well wishes “until he gives us a reason not to.” Also performing at the victory rally are Billy Ray Cyrus and Lee Greenwood (known for the song “God Bless the U.S.A.”) as is the Liberty University Praise Choir. Here’s a clip of Nelly’s recent remarks: “He’s the President! He WON! I’m not on the campaign trail!” Rap superstar Nelly responds to backlash after the news that he will be performing during Donald Trump’s Inaugural Ball.pic.twitter.com/yHfQ8nFDdP — Rob Smith (@robsmithonline) January 19, 2025

Time Magazine Promotes Bizarre Activities For Those Who Can’t Deal With President Trump’s Inauguration

For millions of Americans, Monday marks the first day in an administration they believe will heal the damage inflicted on the country and the world over the course of the past four years. Those who are still instinctively opposed to everything related to President Donald Trump, however, are clearly having a hard time coping with he thought of a second term. And there are a few crackpot psychologists out there willing to dish out some supposed advice for those snowflakes who might not otherwise make it through Inauguration Day. According to Fox News: Time Magazine reported Friday about 11 “science-backed” activities people can try on Monday to cope with their “sense of hopelessness” about the incoming administration. Psychology experts and therapists suggested a variety of activities that could help those emotional about Trump’s return take their focus off their anxiety and gain a new perspective. Emiliana Simon-Thomas, a psychology expert and science director at the University of California at Berkeley’s Greater Good Science Center, recommended exercising, doing a creative activity, showing an act of kindness, smiling at strangers, and going to see a performance. These activities can boost your mood, help you regain a sense of control and feel connected to others, she said. Working out can “wrest back a sense of power that you might feel is missing on Inauguration Day,” the report said. “You might not be able to do anything about the new administration’s policies, but you know what you can do? Fifteen perfect-form jumping jacks.” Group crying was another recommendation in the report. Social media users were quick to add their own statements of mockery: “11 ways to avoid spiraling on Inauguration Day” includes “forest bathing” and communal crying. 1. Democrats are so weird. 2. Time Magazine is an absolute joke. pic.twitter.com/ujM03gop6c — Robby Starbuck (@robbystarbuck) January 17, 2025 Better idea 1-way ticket to China. — Keep your head on a swivel (@pureblood617) January 19, 2025 Meanwhile, the magazine has been receiving mixed reviews for the choice of artwork on its latest cover: BREAKING: TIME Magazine releases inauguration cover. “He’s Back.” You can see Biden’s sunglasses flying off the desk as Trump shoves them off. The design is reminiscent of a late-February 2017 issue when the corporate press was making his term start out to be a failure.… pic.twitter.com/ZIOuAhhozX — Eric Daugherty (@EricLDaugh) January 19, 2025 Red State also chimed in on the absurdity of Time’s list: First up is Julia Barzozza, a visual artist and sociology researcher in San Francisco, who advises coping with Inauguration Day can be achieved through “forest bathing.” “On Inauguration Day, do your own forest bathing,” she tells readers, according to Time. “Spend time in nature using your senses to connect with the environment.” “It’s an important reminder that trying times will eventually pass,” she adds. And hey, a side benefit: While you’re “forest bathing,” libs, you just might end up meeting your one true love in the form of a single, young, strapping Oak tree. Aside from becoming one with the trees, Nicolle Osequeda, a therapist at Lincoln Park Therapy Group in Chicago, tells readers to dance like no one is watching. Which won’t be easy with everybody pointing and laughing. But I digress. If Trump-hating Americans spend the day crying in the woods instead of trying to disrupt his inauguration ceremony, however, perhaps Time is on to something:

Tennessee School Board Removes Book From Library After Pastor Starts Reading From It During Meeting

When it comes to fighting the culture war, some Americans might feel that their individual efforts don’t make much difference. For a pastor and activist in a community near Nashville, Tennessee, however, the decision to stand up for his beliefs clearly paid off. As in many other communities across the U.S., an objectionable book available in the local elementary school library sparked backlash at a school board meeting. Fox News reported on what happened next: During the public comment section at the December 10 Murfreesboro City School Board meeting, pastor and activist John K. Amanchukwu called out the district for having the picture book, “It Feels Good to Be Yourself,” on the shelves at Bradley Academy, an elementary school serving pre-K through 6th grade students in the district. The book introduces the concept of gender identity to readers as young as four, according to its description. “Some people are boys. Some people are girls. Some people are both, neither, or somewhere in between,” it says. The book tells the story of “Ruthie,” a transgender girl, and introduces terms like “cisgender” and “nonbinary” to explain different gender identities to younger readers. After Amanchukwu started to read from the book, board chair Butch Campbell objected to the pastor bringing up the book at the meeting, saying he was going against the rules of only bringing up agenda items during the public comment section. The pastor continued to read from inside the book, calling the book’s message about there being more than two genders “a lie” and citing the Book of Genesis. After about two minutes of the board attempting to get Amanchukwu to stop speaking, they forced the meeting into a recess. At the January 14 school board meeting this week, the board announced the transgender-themed book had been reviewed by a committee of staff and parents, who recommended removing the book. Similar controversies have sparked social media discussion over the past several years: Hard to believe children can check out disgusting Books that resemble Porn! H/T @REVWUTRUTHpic.twitter.com/mDSw8dbF29 — Libs of TikTok (@libsoftiktok) January 3, 2025 When school librarians known to be targeting children with inappropriate material also target information moms dads parents use to help determine explicitness of books in schools, school boards can know they are on the right track. https://t.co/NBjl1LSww6 is helpful, for example. pic.twitter.com/Wdl6jQgIk6 — Dan Kleinman of SafeLibraries® (@SexHarassed) December 23, 2024 As the Washington Times reported last year, Amanchukwu has spoken out against inappropriate books in school libraries on previous occasions: The former North Carolina State defensive end with the booming baritone has crossed the nation confronting boards of education over leftist race and gender concepts being taught in classrooms, often making his point by reading aloud from sexually explicit books found in school libraries. “I recently went to Reno and read from a book entitled ‘American Psycho.’ That book should be entitled ‘American Sicko,’” Mr. Amanchukwu told The Washington Times. “The school board within 15 seconds got up and walked out because they said the content of the book was too vulgar for the meeting.” The book may have been too disturbing for the Washoe County School Board in Nevada, but apparently not for students. The 1991 novel by Bret Easton Ellis was stocked in three high schools. “The thing is, if you can’t say it at a school board meeting, why are we giving kids access to the same content?” Mr. Amanchukwu said. “Why can kids read it and see it? It really makes no sense.” He chronicles his journey in “22 Words: Exposing the Loss of Decency in American Education,” a documentary scheduled for release Thursday [Oct. 3] that follows Mr. Amanchukwu as he seeks to raise national awareness about leftist ideology and graphic sexual content in public education. The film, which also features allies such as Christian actor Kirk Cameron and Brave Books CEO Trent Talbot, is available on the 22wordsfilm.com website. In the last two years, Mr. Amanchukwu has spoken before two dozen school boards in 15 states. He’s had board members walk out on him and cut off his microphone. He been kicked out of meetings “about five times.” Here’s a clip of his remarks at the recent Tennessee school board meeting: This school board doesn’t want to hear the pornographic book “It’s Perfectly Normal” being read to them because it’s disgusting, but they’re perfectly fine with groomers reading it to kids. pic.twitter.com/tqeziqL2cY — World Hall Of Fun (@WorldHallOfFun) January 12, 2025

President Trump’s Inauguration Will Have At Least One Detail In Common With Obama’s Ceremony

While it might be hard to find two presidents more dissimilar than Barack Obama and Donald Trump, they share one detail about their respective inauguration ceremonies that is unlike any of the nation’s other commanders-in-chief. Viewers of Monday’s ceremony will notice that Trump will take his oath with not just one, but a pair of Holy Bibles. He did the same when he was inaugurated eight years ago, as did Obama during both of his inaugurations. The Bible Abraham Lincoln used to swear the oath of office in 1861 has been used by both men, as Fox News reported: “It has only been used three times since, by President Obama at each of his inaugurations and by President Trump at his first inauguration in 2017,” Trump’s team states. “The burgundy velvet-bound book is part of the collections of the Library of Congress.” President Obama also took the oath of office on two Bibles back in 2013, the Associated Press reported. One was owned by Martin Luther King Jr. and the other was the Lincoln Bible. When Trump is sworn in as the 47th President of the United States inside the Capitol’s rotunda, he will do so facing a bust of the Rev. Martin Luther King Jr. on the federal holiday commemorating King’s legacy. Trump’s approaching inauguration, the notable guests who will be in attendance, and the widespread support he has going into his second term, have contributed to an outpouring of optimism on social media: JUST IN: Argentina President Javier Milei arrives in the United States for President Trump’s Inauguration. pic.twitter.com/dGmfazAwWy — Ian Jaeger (@IanJaeger29) January 18, 2025 Snoop Dogg then: Anyone who performs for Trump at his inauguration is a “jigaboo a$$ n****” and an “Uncle Tom.” Snoop Dogg now: *Performs at a Trump inaugural ball.* Interesting shift. pic.twitter.com/cZkOKXL39c — Collin Rugg (@CollinRugg) January 19, 2025 Patriots Are Mobilizing! Thousands are on the move, heading to Trump’s historic inauguration. The energy is electric—America is ready for a new era. Stay tuned for history in the making! pic.twitter.com/n0uHdmiQRk — Jim Ferguson (@JimFergusonUK) January 18, 2025   The Hill reported on the significance of the other Bible that will be used during Monday’s swearing-in: President-elect Trump will use a Bible that was given to him by his mother, as well as the Lincoln Bible, for his swearing-in Monday. Trump’s late mother, Mary Anne MacLeod Trump, gave him the Bible in 1955 to mark his Sunday Church Primary School graduation at First Presbyterian Church in Jamaica, N.Y., according to the Trump Inaugural Committee. The inside cover of the Bible is signed by church officials and inscribed with Trump’s name and details of when it was gifted to him. Here’s a rundown of the notable celebrities slated to perform during the Inauguration Day festivities:

Roseanne Barr And Tom MacDonald’s Trump Rap ‘Daddy’s Home’ Hits Number 1 Ahead Of Inauguration

Comedian Roseanne Barr and Tom MacDonald’s rap video about President-elect Donald Trump’s victory “Daddy’s Home” has soared to the number one spot in music ahead of his second inauguration. “We have officially hit #1 in ALL GENRES in the USA,” a joint post on Instagram from Barr and MacDonald read after it became the number one song in America. “Hollywood cancelled Rosie years ago…turned their backs on her…outcasted her…and stole her show,” it added. “They NEVER gave her a second chance…so, we’re taking this into our own hands.” “We don’t need Hollywood…we’ll get Roseanne her first #1 song INDEPENDENT! If you haven’t – head to iTunes and download “Daddy’s Home”!!! #tommacdonald #hangovergang,” the post continued. In a post on X, MacDonald wrote that the rap was also the “#1 music video trending in America” on YouTube.   View this post on Instagram   A post shared by @hangovergang “I probably get more hate than any rapper alive…and oddly enough, I think I have the most fun,” the rapper said. “The amount of criticism I receive would probably crush me if it wasn’t rivalled by the absolutely incredible amount of LOVE that I get from you guys.” “Thank you so much. PS. CONGRATULATIONS ROSIE! We love you!!!” he added. He continued in a later post, “WELCOME TO 2025. Trump is your president & Roseanne is the best rapper alive. Enjoy your stay.” CELEBRATE #47 WITH 47% OFF DAILYWIRE+ MEMBERSHIPS + A FREE $20 GIFT The comedian also responded to the news and wrote on X, “Damn it feels good to be a gangster.” On Friday, Barr got everyone’s attention when she and MacDonald finally dropped their rap video, as previously reported. In the fun video filled with Trump-flag-waving supporters, the two performers rap a catchy tune about Trump’s victory and repeat the chorus, “We won, you mad/It’s done, too bad/Boo-hoo, so sad/Now your daddy’s home. We won, you mad/You cry, we laugh/We wave, the flag/Now your Daddy’s home.” The video comes on the heels of last year’s “Facts,” a collaboration between Daily Wire Editor Emeritus Ben Shapiro and MacDonald, which dominated the charts, eventually hitting number one on the Billboard Rap chart. In the song, the two reference the last four years under President Joe Biden and the transgender insanity pushed by his administration. One line read, “Thank God, that we’re back/Couldn’t take another four years, that’s a wrap/I can take a bath in your tears, that’s a fact/You got lipstick all on your beard, you’re a man…” In another part, the pair rap, “If you mad about it, go and cry about it/Shave your head and wear a shirt that says your woke/If you can’t handle all the facts and make up lies about it (liar)/Say goodbye to Joe, your daddy’s coming home (coming home).” Related: Roseanne Barr Drops ‘Daddy’s Home’ Rap Video With Tom MacDonald
