Marxism’s Death Toll Rises with DC Shootings

On Wednesday evening, two young lives were tragically cut short when a gunman opened fire outside a museum in Washington, D.C. Thanks to his actions, two souls will no longer have the chance to see the future they had planned for themselves—a future that was to include an engagement (set to take place next week) and years of happiness together. That’s what the story should be. Not a story of politics and ideologies and groups, but a story of two individuals. Those individuals deserve to be mourned for their own sake—not to have their story become one of politics, religion, or ideology. But in taking their lives, the gunman also took that possibility. Because Yaron Lischinsky and Sarah Milgram weren’t just random individuals—they were employees of the Israeli embassy. The museum they were at wasn’t just any museum—it was the Capital Jewish Museum. And their deaths weren’t just the consequence of being in the wrong place at the wrong time—they were the result of premeditated actions by a radical who proceeded to don a keffiyeh and cry, “Free, free Palestine,” forever dooming their stories to be associated with his vile political statement. Their story can no longer be told without diving into the revolutionary Marxist ideology that brought about their deaths. That’s because Elias Rodriguez, the suspect in the shooting, is a person rooted in the ecosystem whose ultimate end is the destruction of the United States. Rodriguez is formerly associated with the Party for Socialism and Liberation, an American communist party linked with pro-Hamas activists like the ANSWER Coalition. In an X post following the shooting, the PSL denied any ongoing association with Rodriguez, describing their relationship as “a brief association with one branch of the PSL in 2017.” Yet at that point, Rodriguez was deeply affiliated with the PSL, which portrayed him as a member in a story for its Liberation news outlet. In that story, the PSL quoted Rodriguez regarding a Chicago protest he participated in—one denouncing so-called gentrification and demanding justice for Laquan McDonald, a 17-year-old killed by a police officer. That protest was organized by (among others) BLM Women of Faith and ANSWER Chicago. These are organizations deeply embedded in the anti-American movement. In the words of its own activists, ANSWER is dedicated to “getting rid of America. Getting rid of the West.” ANSWER has worked with organizations like CodePink, American Muslims for Palestine, and Students for Justice in Palestine—but as Mike Gonzalez and I detail in our report, “How the Revolutionary Ecosystem Sustains Pro-Palestinian Protesters and the BLM Movement,” its involvement in left-wing causes doesn’t stop there. Representatives from ANSWER attended the original Movement for Black Lives convention, and ANSWER has organized protests alongside various BLM chapters. Further, ANSWER receives funding from Neville Roy Singham, a Shanghai-based multi-millionaire with strong ties both to the CCP and the various convenors of the Shut It Down for Palestine movement—a movement that praises the Palestinian “’resistance’” and seeks to “combat… material support for Zionism and weaken… the handmaiden of U.S. global imperialism.” This is just a glimpse of the full ecosystem detailed in our report—an ecosystem responsible for the violent uprisings and protests that have plagued our country for over a decade. And it’s clear that this is a network of which Elias Rodriguez was very much a part. In addition to his involvement with ANSWER and PSL, Rodriguez (as recently as July 2024) worked for The HistoryMakers, an organization whose goal is to fashion a “more inclusive record of American history” and “elevate the cultural equity of the African American community.” That organization receives funding from, among others, the Mellon Foundation, Ford Foundation, and Knight Foundation—all organizations with their own ties to the revolutionary ecosystem. Neither the PSL nor The HistoryMakers responded to a request for comment. Rodriguez’s murder of Lischinsky and Milgram stems at least in part from the ideologies of that ecosystem and his immersion in it, even if these specific organizations and their sponsors played no direct role in causing the shooting. In a 900-word manifesto allegedly by Rodriguez and posted shortly prior to the shooting, he terms Israel a “genocidal apartheid state” and the U.S. as an “abett[er of]… slaughter.” Ultimately, he concludes, his action is “highly legible and, in some funny way, the only sane thing to do.” Evil and unconscionable as his actions are, Rodriguez is right—if one buys into the radical Marxism peddled by BLM, ANSWER, and others, there’s only one logical conclusion: that America and its allies are oppressive states that must be overthrown, no matter the cost. Ideas have consequences. And nowhere is that clearer than in the events of last night, where ideas meant the deaths of two beautiful young people with their whole lives before them. Those individuals deserve to have their stories told unsullied by a radical ideology—but Rodriguez’s actions made that impossible. All we can do now is recognize that ideology for what it is: a vile, destructive sentiment that must be rooted out before it tears us down from the inside. Honda reached a significant milestone this week by hitting a cumulative global production of 500 million motorcycles. To celebrate the occasion, the company hosted a ceremony at the Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India Private Limited facility in India’s Ahmedabad District on May 22. The 1949 Dream D-Type was the first motorcycle produced by the company. Honda’s first motorcycle produced was the Dream D-Type in 1949. Its 100-million-unit milestone was achieved in 1997, taking 48 years to reach. The next milestones came more quickly, with 200 million units produced by 2004, 300 million units in 2014, and 400 million in 2019. Throughout that time, the company has continued opening production in countries around the world. Its first overseas production facility opened in Belgium in 1963. The Marysville, Ohio, plant began producing dirtbikes in 1979. Honda began North American motorcycle production in 1979 at its plant in Marysville, Ohio, starting with the CR250R dirtbike. The company has since produced 30 motorcycle models in the U.S. and just over 1 million units, with the two most heavily produced models being the Shadow and Gold Wing platforms. 1980 GL1100 Gold Wing Interstate Today, the company has an annual production capacity of more than 20 million units in 23 countries and 37 production entities, delivering products through its network on more than 30,000 dealers. 1993 Shadow 1100 “I would like to thank our customers and all stakeholders who were involved in achieving this milestone, from development to production, sales, and service,” said Toshihiro Mibe, Honda Motor Co., Ltd.’s president, CEO, and representative director. “Honda will continue to take on the challenge of expanding the joy of our customers around the world.” 2025 NT1100 DCT Rider congratulates Honda on this incredible achievement and will continue to bring readers news and reviews about Honda motorcycles as well as many other brands. Comedians Apologize…For Jokes?

As Ali MacGraw and Ryan O’Neal famously said, “Love means never having to say you’re sorry.” Someone should tell that to modern day comedians. Too many apologize for their past jokes, often years after uttering them. For some, it’s Damage Control 101. The “wrong” joke, no matter how long ago it was spoken, could be a cancel-worthy affair. Take Jimmy Fallon groveling for forgiveness during a 2020 Tonight Show episode over a 20-year-old blackface sketch. The apology came during the height of the BLM movement. In other cases, it’s pure virtue signaling, since no one actually remembered the bad joke in question. The latter may explain Sarah Silverman’s recent mea culpa. The far-Left comic previously got pinched by Cancel Culture when a 2007-era blackface gag cost her a movie role. She took a rare shot at Cancel Culture while sharing that story. “You have to ask yourself, would I want this person to be changed or do I secretly want them to stay what I deem as wrong so I can point to them as f***ed up and myself as right?” More recently, Silverman apologized for using the n-word in previous comedy routines. “I felt like the temperature of the world around me at the time was, ‘We are all liberal so we can say the n-word. We aren’t racist, so we can say this derogatory stuff’ … I was playing a character that was arrogant and ignorant, so I thought it was OK. Looking back, my intentions were always good, but they were f***ing ignorant.” She’s far from alone. Tina Fey once blasted the woke mob for policing humor. The “30 Rock” alum said she makes it a policy not to explain her jokes. Post-George Floyd, a very different Fey yanked four “30 Rock” episodes from syndication for featuring various blackface jokes. Said episodes cannot be found on streaming or DVD platforms, according to the BBC. Fey apologized for the “pain they have caused.” What pain? The subject came up during the BLM protests. How many people cared before…or after? Context is everything, particularly in comedy, and the episodes weren’t designed to attack or belittle black people. Standup comedian John Mulaney isn’t known for his political musings. Yet he still circled back to apologize for a riff about the 2020 presidential election. He dared suggest it didn’t matter if an elderly Joe Biden or a slightly less elderly Donald Trump won. “Outrage” ensued, and he backpedaled on Jimmy Kimmel Live! “I should have said I very much want one to win over the other, and there will be improvements if one wins. I deserved backlash. I flat-out just forgot to do it… I never was like, ‘Hey, don’t you mean that one guy is worse than the other?’ And I forgot to make the joke good.” Taylor Swift is arguably the most famous celebrity in the world, meaning she’s heard her fair share of insults, jokes and more. It’s not pretty, but it comes with the territory. Comedienne Nikki Glaser still felt the need to apologize to Tay Tay after an old crack she made about the pop superstar resurfaced in the Swift documentary “Miss Americana.” “She’s too skinny; it bothers me…all of her model friends, and it’s just like, c’mon!'” Glaser called it “projection” due to her own eating disorder issues. Has she apologized to others she’s hammered with her humor since then? It’s even more ironic because her biggest career boost came when she killed it at Netflix’s “The Roast of Tom Brady” last year. The Apology Tour isn’t reserved for stand-up comedians. The key forces behind 2007’s “Superbad” — co-star and co-writer Seth Rogen, and star Jonah Hill — have apologized for the movie’s raunchy humor. Rogen apologized for capturing how real teenagers talk in the hit comedy. “There are probably some jokes in ‘Superbad’ that are bordering on blatantly homophobic at times. They’re all in the voice of high school kids, who do speak like that, but I think we’d also be silly not to acknowledge that we also were, to some degree, glamorizing that type of language in a lot of ways.” Hill piled on, blasting his own early comedies as portraits of “toxic masculinity.” “I love those films, but I also think that if you look back at those films, a lot of what they’re showing is major bro comedy, and bro masculinity.” He said he wanted his newer films to educate viewers about the “problematic behavior” highlighted in these box office hits. Not every comic performer feels this way. Monty Python alum John Cleese isn’t eager to apologize for his past gags, and he occasionally does so with tongue firmly in cheek to make his point. Podcasting giant Adam Carolla is even more firm in his “no apology” mantra. The “Mr. Birchum” star defended his position in 2015 during a HuffPo conversation. “Go find a politician or somebody who’s in charge and poke a popsicle stick up their butt…I’m a comedian. I’m done apologizing, I really am…And by the way, everyone who apologizes is faking it. They’re only doing it because they’re gonna get canned.” He later started his book, “Everything Reminds Me of Something: Advice, Answers … but No Apologies“ with this promise. “I’m not going to apologize. S****y times call for s****y language.” And, bless his heart, 98-year-old Mel Brooks has yet to apologize for “The Producers” and its pro-Hitler ditty, “Springtime for Hitler.” Christian Toto is an award-winning journalist, movie critic and editor of HollywoodInToto.com. Father Of D.C. Terror Suspect Attended Trump Joint Address At Behest Of Far-Left House Democrat

The father of the terrorist who killed two Israeli embassy staffers on Wednesday was invited to attend President Donald Trump’s March joint address in Congress at the behest of a far-Left member of Congress. Rep. Jesús “Chuy” García (D-IL), who called for a ceasefire on October 7, 2023, as Hamas terrorists were still raping and slaughtering Israeli civilians, hosted Eric Rodriguez—the father of suspected murderer Elias Rodriguez— at Trump’s March 4 speech. “Eric Rodriguez was our guest during the President’s Joint Speech to Congress, but we don’t know his family,” a spokesperson for Rep. Jesús “Chuy” García told the New York Post Thursday. Elias Rodriguez, 30, of Chicago, was detained by police on suspicion of murdering Yaron Lischinsky, 30, and Sarah Milgrim, 26, on Wednesday night in Washington, D.C. The couple was shot at close range, and Milgrim was shot multiple times while crawling away, according to court documents. According to police, the terrorist told officers he “did it for Palestine.” TWO ISRAELI EMBASSY STAFFERS MURDERED BY KEFFIYEH-WEARING MAN SHOUTING ‘FREE PALESTINE’ IN DC García announced Rodriguez’s invitation the day before the speech, claiming that “his presence at the Joint Address is a powerful statement: we will not sit back while veterans and workers are treated as political pawns.” Rodriguez is a disabled Army veteran and an employee at Edward Hines Jr. Veterans Administration Hospital in Illinois, according to the statement. “We’ve seen this playbook before—divide and weaken workers, then hand over public services to private interests,” García wrote. “But this time, we’re ready. With leaders like Eric and the power of our unions, we’re fighting back stronger than ever.” In a video for the Service Employees International Union on the same day, Rodriguez said he was in Washington, D.C., because he is “concerned about what Donald Trump, Elon Musk and DOGE are doing to the VA system.” FRIENDS, FAMILY REACT TO MURDER OF ISRAELI EMBASSY STAFFERS BY KEFFIYEH-WEARING TERRORIST García has been a critic of Israel since it launched its defense war against Hamas, including opposing military aid to Israel; last April, he claimed that he rejects “U.S. complicity in the devastation of Palestinian life in Gaza.” García said he opposed sending offensive weapons because “it would signal support for an expanded invasion of Rafah,” the city where six hostages were murdered shortly before being found by the IDF and where Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar was later killed. “The US cannot continue to be complicit in the destruction of Palestinian life in Gaza,” he posted. In September, García opposed cutting funding to UNRWA, despite its workers’ participation in the October 7 massacre and the testimony of hostages saying they were held in UNRWA facilities. UNRWA has also been criticized for promoting antisemitism in its schools and promoting Palestinian dependency on the global community by granting refugee status to the descendants of refugees, which no other group is granted. On Friday, a group of over 50 House Republicans introduced a resolution condemning the murder of Sarah Milgrim and Yaron Lischinsky. Sarah Milgrim, an American citizen and Israeli embassy staffer, was murdered on Wednesday night when attending an event with her boyfriend. The attacker has a history of anti-Israel and radical leftist rhetoric. (Photo: X) Elias Rodriguez was once affiliated with the Party for Socialism and Liberation, a leftist group linked to Chinese Communist Party funding networks that have been repeatedly contacted by sanctioned Iranian state media, according to a report. RUBIO THREATENS TO SNATCH VISAS FROM ‘PRO-HAMAS THUGS’ AT COLUMBIA UNIVERSITY Sarah Milgrim’s father, who is an American Jew from the Kansas City suburbs, said his daughter was dedicated to peace-building. She was a full-time employee at the embassy’s Department of Public Diplomacy.  At a Wednesday night press conference, Israeli Ambassador to the United States Yechiel Leiter said Lischinsky and Milgrim were about to get engaged. Memorial Day Sale – Get 40% Off New DailyWire+ Annual Memberships “The couple that was gunned down tonight in the name of free Palestine is a couple that was about to be engaged,” he said. “The young man purchased a ring this week with the intention of proposing to his girlfriend next week in Jerusalem. They were a beautiful couple who came to enjoy an evening in Washington’s cultural center.” Lischinsky, 30, was a German-Israeli dual citizen and a devout evangelical Christian who immigrated to Israel at the age of 16 and served in the Israel Defense Forces.

Dad Turns Around During Morning Commute When He Forgets Important Morning Routine

Hugging is an essential part of human life. Studies have proven conclusively that more hugs mean less depression. While not a cure-all, hugs boost our oxytocin levels, increasing dopamine, endorphins, and serotonin levels. Those are the “feel-good” hormones that our bodies naturally produce. We produce more of them when getting or giving hugs. And that is why you’re going to need tissues for this dad hug. @kristiedav7 She is so serious about her hugs. Who could blame her? #daddysgirl #babygirl @Brandon Davis ♬ original sound – Sion morrow When her dad left without hugging his daughter, her mom called, and Dad immediately turned around. Parents Kristie and Brandon Davis are working on raising a healthy, well-adjusted daughter. Part of that is daily hugs. This first dad hug of the day can be a make-or-break moment for the parents and their child. Not only did Brandon turn around immediately, but he gave his daughter a long, meaningful dad hug. In that simple action, he conveyed her importance in his life. When the young girl tried leaning into the car, he got out. Picking her up and holding her tight gave them an oxytocin boost to improve their day. Image from TikTok. Hugs can considerably boost physical health. Hugs help us in four general areas: Reducing inflammation, reducing blood pressure, fighting illness, and producing oxytocin. Our bodies respond to illness by swelling, or becoming inflamed. One study proved that more hugs decreased inflammation during a 14-day study of 20 people. Hugging reduces blood pressure and increases cardiovascular health. The common cold usually makes us want to avoid physical contact. However, in a 14-day study, hugs reduced the severity and longevity of symptoms. Those who received more hugs recovered more quickly. We already mentioned the “feel-good” hormones. Oxytocin helps reduce stress, increases bonding, and improves overall well-being. Hug someone, and please share this.
