Several American universities get an “F” for FAILURE to protect Jewish students from rampant anti-Semitism

Jewish students on these campuses all around the U.S. have had to endure months of pervasive harassment and physical attacks by Muslim-led, Soros-financed anti-Israel protesters, simply because of their identity. The Anti-Defamation League has graded 85 American universities for their policies to protect Jewish students from antisemitism on campus. It gave Harvard and 12 other […]

Great News from Trump’s Rally! CBS: “Looked A Lot Like America”

CBS News said that Trump’s rally in the South Bronx “looked a lot like America.” There were Asian, Black, and Hispanic voters. Trump’s campaign wants to capitalize on a movement away from Joe Biden. This rally was held in the South Bronx, a beaten-down minority area. They’ve suffered under Democrats, especially Biden. They aren’t looking […] The post Great News from Trump’s Rally! She Disappeared In Spain Amid A Nasty Divorce. Her Husband Has Been Charged With Kidnapping, But Where Is Ana Knezevich Henao?

The last time anyone spoke to Ana Maria Knezevich Henao she seemed happy and “totally normal,” but a day later, she disappeared into thin air. A couple months later, Ana’s estranged husband, David Knezevich, was arrested at the Miami airport and charged with kidnapping, People Magazine reported. He has not been charged with her murder, and she is still nowhere to be found. Ana, who was born in Colombia, left her home in Florida and traveled to Madrid, Spain, on December 27, 2023, just after she separated from her husband, a Serbian immigrant whom she had been married to for 13 years. The couple owned a tech company together, and splitting up the company became the crux of their contentious divorce. Ana’s brother, Felibe, told People that the couple were “going through a nasty divorce and there is a substantial amount of money on the line to be split up between the two and Knezevich is not happy about it.” Her best friend, Sanna Rameau, told People that Ana “really liked the culture in that city and the atmosphere, and she said she wanted to go and live there.” In Spain, Ana wanted to create a non-profit that would help “women that have been abused or been in a bad situation.” Screenshot: YouTube. WPLG Local 10. In January 2024, Rameau was able to meet with Ana in Austria, and the two made plans to get together in Madrid on February 8. Rameau told the outlet that she spoke to Ana every day, but as their meeting in Spain approached, Ana disappeared. Rameau knew something was wrong when she received troubling text messages from Ana’s phone on February 3. “I met someone wonderful,” one message said, according to People. “He has a summer house about 2h [two hours] from Madrid. We are going there now and I will spend a few days there. There is barely any signal though. I’ll call you when I come back. Kisses.” Rameau told the outlet that she “was very confused” by the texts. “I was like, ‘What are you talking about? What is going on? This is not safe. Share your location. Something is wrong,’” she said. But Ana stopped responding. Rameau contacted a friend of Ana in Madrid and also called the authorities. The last confirmed contact with Ana was on the evening of February 2, Rameau told the outlet, saying her friend was “just goofing around” and acted “totally normal.” Security cameras at her apartment building captured footage of Ana entering her home around 2:30 p.m. Around 9:27 p.m. that same day, the cameras captured a man wearing a helmet enter the building and cover a surveillance camera lens with spray paint. Police have said the man resembled Knezevich. A federal complaint obtained by People revealed that the man was also seen “fastening a piece of duct tape to the lock of the building entrance to prevent the lock from engaging to allow subsequent entry.” Around 10:30 p.m., the man was seen leaving the building with what appeared to be a suitcase. Screenshot: YouTube. WPLG Local 10. When Spanish police searched Ana’s apartment after she was reported missing, they noted that her cell phone, laptop, and chargers were all missing. Police also tracked down the shop that sold the brand of spray paint used by the man in the surveillance footage. The shop’s security cameras “depicted an individual who appeared to be Knezevich purchasing the spray paint along with two rolls of duct tape,” on February 2, according to the complaint against Knezevich. Investigators working on Ana’s disappearance also discovered Knezevich contacted a Colombian woman online in October 2023 who said he asked her to translate a message into “perfect Colombian,” People reported.  She claimed Knezevich told her he needed the translation for his friend in Serbia “who is writing a script about a Colombian character.” The woman said the message Knezevich asked her to translate was the same one that Ana’s friend Rameau received the day after Ana disappeared, about meeting a man and spending days with him in a place with spotty cell service. Knezevich also allegedly asked her to translate another message that read: “yesterday after therapy I needed a walk and he approached me on the street! Amazing connection. Like I never had before.” Authorities contend that Knezevich flew from Miami to Istanbul on January 27 and then rented a car in Serbia on January 29 before driving to Spain to allegedly kidnap his estranged wife, People reported. The owner of the rental car company reportedly told authorities that Knezevich returned the vehicle with tinted windows and different frames for the license plate. On April 24, nearly three months after Ana disappeared, one of Knezevich’s employees told police that he had asked her to “impersonate” Ana to open a new bank account. The employee said Knezevich provided her with Ana’s social security number to use as identification. When the employee said she was uncomfortable doing so because Ana was missing, Knezevich allegedly told her that it “needed to be done” in order to pay all the employees. Knezevich allegedly added that “I cannot call with my voice because I sound like a guy.” Knezevich maintains his innocence, with his attorney claiming his client was in Serbia when Ana disappeared, some 1,600 miles away, WSVN reported. Amy Beth Bennett/South Florida Sun Sentinel/Tribune News Service via Getty Images Even with Knezevich’s arrest, Ana’s friends and family still wonder where she is. “Nothing of this makes sense to me,” Rameau told People. “It’s devastating. We just want to know where she is.” “I am not going to stop until justice has been served,” she added. “I miss her every minute. I just dream that she would come back. She was a sweetheart.” Ana’s younger brother Felipe still hopes his sister can be found. “If anybody out there has any information about her whereabouts, we still have hope that we can find where my sister is,” he said during a press conference on May 8, just days after Knezevich was arrested, WSVN reported. “If she’s out there, somewhere, I just want to tell her we all love her, we miss her, we support her, we’re her voice.”

Chris Hemsworth Credits Wife For His Success: ‘Put Aside Her Own Dreams To Support Mine’

Actor Chris Hemsworth gave credit to his wife of nearly 14 years, Elsa Pataky, for his success in Hollywood. The 40-year-old Marvel star made the remarks in Los Angeles on Thursday during a speech he gave after receiving a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Pataky attended the event along with the couple’s three children, India Rose, 12, and twins Sasha and Tristan, 10, per People. “I want to say thank you to my beautiful wife, who has been here for my entire career basically by my side, endlessly encouraging and supportive,” Hemsworth said. “And it doesn’t get lost on me that she put aside her own dreams in order to support mine and, again, [I am] forever in your debt.” “The fact [is] that nothing that I do, any of these moments, these special occasions and events, none of it is special without you by my side. I love you,” the “Thor” star continued. The pair met after being introduced to each other by their agents in 2010. They were engaged and married shortly after, and mostly keep their relationship private.  Some of Hemsworth’s co-stars were also in the audience to celebrate the Australian-born star receiving the honor, including Robert Downey Jr., who turned his speech into a mini-roast. “First off, [Jeremy] Renner says ‘absurdly annoyingly amazing.’ [Mark] Ruffalo came in strong with ‘Friend from work,'” Downey Jr. said. “That’s a callback, now I get it. Scarlett [Johansson] got to the heart of it with ‘sensitive leading lady.’ Captain America [Chris Evans] calls him ‘second-best Chris.'” Next up, fans can see Hemsworth in the highly anticipated post-apocalyptic action adventure film, “Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga,” which debuted on Friday, May 24. Director George Miller also shared his thoughts on Hemsworth. CLICK HERE TO GET THE DAILYWIRE+ APP “I’ve got to know him as a professional working and I was incredibly impressed by the way that he worked well beyond my expectations and the way that he brought people together,” he said during the event, according to People. “He’s a great actor and I’m so happy to say he’s a great human being.”

Biden Nominee Greenlit Secret Search Of Journalist’s Emails Over Ashley Biden’s Diary

Biden Nominee Greenlit Secret Search Of Journalist’s Emails Over Ashley Biden’s Diary

A few years before she was nominated by Joe Biden to a lifetime judicial appointment, Judge Sarah Netburn signed off on an order that compelled Google to secretly hand over to criminal investigators the personal emails of the journalist who had obtained Ashley Biden’s diary. Netburn has been eviscerated by Republican senators for alleged partisanship during her confirmation hearings this week, chiefly for allowing a repeat sexual offender to be housed in a female prison because he said he was a woman. Senators including Texas’ Ted Cruz have accused her of putting ideology over jurisprudence. Unmentioned, however, have been her actions in 2020. Netburn as a federal magistrate judge in New York signed the order compelling Google to provide information from a Project Veritas journalist’s personal email account, court records show. Project Veritas purchased the diary after a woman said she found it when she moved into a room previously occupied by Ashley Biden. The conservative-leaning journalism outfit ultimately decided not to publish the diary. Nonetheless, lawyers for Ashley Biden contacted the U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of New York, which turned the missing diary into a federal case. The contents of the diary, in which the president’s daughter discusses drug addiction and questions whether her sexual compulsion stemmed from Joe Biden allegedly showering with her as a child, had the potential to be politically explosive. Netburn granted the ruling favorably to Ashley Biden, in spite of First Amendment implications, in December 2020, after Joe Biden had won the presidential election but while Donald Trump was still in office. Three and a half years later, Joe Biden nominated Netburn for a lifetime appointment to the position of District Judge for the Southern District of New York. The order signed by Netburn ordered Google to turn over information associated with a personal account of a Project Veritas journalist, while forbidding Google from letting the target know about it, preventing the journalism outfit from fighting the move. “The information sought is relevant and material to an ongoing criminal investigation, and that disclosure to any person of this investigation of this application and order… would seriously jeopardize the investigation,” the order said. The application for a search warrant was also sealed, making it unknown exactly what prosecutors told Netburn. The case became public after prosecutors executed pre-dawn raids at the homes of three former Project Veritas journalists, drawing condemnation from even left-leaning civil liberties groups. Prosecutors eventually got warrants from Apple, Microsoft, and other providers from other magistrate judges, and pressed for them to remain sealed. In 2022, Microsoft realized the case was already well-publicized, meaning the government could not legitimately argue for sealing them, and prosecutors relented, filing an order to end the non-disclosure orders, which Netburn signed. In May 2022, Project Veritas’ lawyers wrote to Netburn that the subpoenas were “unprecedented government invasions into the newsgathering work of Project Veritas, which lawfully received an abandoned diary and other personal effects previously belonging to an adult child of then-presidential candidate Joe Biden.” “There is no potential crime to investigate, only First Amendment-protected newsgathering,” it wrote, saying that, “while the government continues to peddle the lie that the diary — or other abandoned belongings — were ‘stolen,’ it has produced no support for its false claim.” Even if it were stolen, precedent holds that “journalists may lawfully receive materials from sources even if that material is illegally obtained by sources themselves,” it argued. Netburn did not immediately return a request for comment to her chambers. Mike Davis, a Republican former chief counsel for nominations on the Senate Judiciary Committee who now leads the Article III Project, a nonprofit focused on the judiciary, told The Daily Wire that the order is another sign Netburn is too partisan for the nomination. “Now, we learn Sarah Netburn ordered a secret search of a journalist’s email account to protect Joe Biden from the highly troubling abuse allegations in daughter Ashley Biden’s diary,” Davis said after reviewing the orders. “Sarah Netburn has proven she doesn’t have the necessary judgeship or independence to serve on the federal bench for the rest of her life. That’s probably why Joe Biden picked her.” The White House says it was unaware of the order when Biden nominated Netburn, and that it was therefore not a factor in the decision. “We are unaware of such a warrant and nothing regarding this case was a factor,” Biden’s deputy press secretary Andrew Bates told The Daily Wire. Last month, Aimee Harris was sentenced to a month in prison and three years of probation after pleading guilty to taking the diary and selling it to Project Veritas for $40,000. Another man, Robert Kurlander, also pleaded guilty to involvement in a conspiracy involving the diary. In the diary published by Marco Polo, Ashley allegedly writes that she was “hyper-sexualized @ a young age,” and references “showers” with her dad that were “probably not appropriate.” She writes this while contemplating her issues with sexual trauma, and said she was “resentful” of her father because of “$, control.” On September 16, 2019, she wrote, “I’m going to discontinue this journal after I leave here.” Last month, Ashley Biden seemed to acknowledge that the diary was real in a victim impact statement that was originally filed under seal, but made public after the New York Times argued against its secrecy. In the statement, Ashley Biden says the private diary’s publication has led to “grotesque lies” and that her “stream-of-consciousness thoughts” were misconstrued. “My personal private journal was stolen and sold for profit,” she wrote. “I ask Your Honor to sentence Ms. Harris to time in prison followed by lengthy probation.” Netburn is up for a lifetime appointment to the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York. She is unlikely to receive Republican support after her failure to defend the decision to put a transgender-identifying male sexual offender in a female prison.

Woman Shares Bittersweet Milestone For Car-Sized, Decades-Old “Century Plant”

Most people call an Agave Americana a “century plant.” The name can be misleading, as these plants don’t live to 100 years old. Most mature between 8 and 30 years, which coincides with their one and only flowering. The large, low-maintenance succulent grows well in arid climates, especially in the Southwest and Mexico. “Shorti” has been caring for her century plant, Hedy, in south-central Louisiana for several decades. She is upset that the century plant threw up a bloom spike because that means the plant will be dying soon. @shorti.6770 #centuryplant #centuryplantbloom ♬ original sound – shorti Hedy is bigger than a Honda CRV, according to Shorti. When she originally posted about the bloom spike, it was only a foot above the base plant. In more recent videos. The spike looks to be nearly 20 feet tall. Shorti used a ratchet strap to pull the bloom away from a nearby power line. Although saddened by the century plant bloom, Shorti hopes Hedy will produce some “puffs,” or offsets, before she perishes. Puffs are baby plants that the mature plant drops around its base. Puffs can be thrown at any time during the plant’s life, and Shorti has transplanted several of Hedy’s earlier puffs. Images from TikTok here and here. The central stem, or bloom spike, can grow incredibly tall. Once it reaches its apex, it will bloom throughout the summer months. The flowers are typically white or yellow. Shorti has a running set of videos showing the growth of her century plant bloom. You can find them on her TikTok channel. Shorti’s down-home accent and realistic narration make each video enjoyable. You can travel through the entire growth sequence of this majestic century plant bloom. Please share this with someone who loves century plants. You can find the source of this story’s featured image here and here. The post Woman Shares Bittersweet Milestone For Car-Sized, Decades-Old “Century Plant” appeared first on InspireMore.
