Man Visits Neighbor’s Dog Every Day When She’s At Work In Adorable Footage

One kind neighbor made this dog the happiest pooch on the block by visiting him while his owner was at work — every day! Mackenzie Roberts shared the sweetest security camera footage on social media of the local elderly gentleman stopping by her house to see Beau on multiple occasions. Every time the man walked through the door, the pup went wild with excitement. Beau was so happy to have a visitor while waiting for Mom to come home! In Mackenzie’s clips, her neighbor would walk right into the house while the dog was sitting patiently on the couch. When the door opened, Beau’s tail would start wagging enthusiastically. Sometimes, the pooch would already be waiting by the entrance when the elderly man arrived, ready to greet him! @macrob24 I wouldn’t have gotten through my husbands deployment if it weren’t for my friend Wayne who took Beau to the park everyday while I was at work #dog #friend #navy #washington #fypage ♬ Stuff We Did (from ‘Up’) – Piano Version – your movie soundtrack This neighbor seemed equally happy to see the friendly dog every day. Whenever he’d come over, he’d say “Hi Beau! How are you?” in the sweetest voice. Mackenzie was extremely grateful for this man’s help in keeping her pup occupied. According to her post, he did more than just visit the dog. He also made sure Beau got his exercise outdoors! “I wouldn’t have gotten through my husband’s deployment if it weren’t for my friend Wayne who took Beau to the park everyday while I was at work,” the pet owner wrote in her social media caption. Commenters loved seeing the wholesome footage of Mackenzie’s neighbor hanging out with the sweet dog. They especially loved the adorable way that Wayne addressed the pooch every time he came by. Many also noted that the elderly man seemed to be benefitting from these visits, too. Screengrab from TikTok “It’s amazing how your friend probably needed this and your dog also needed a friend,” wrote one user. “This made me bawl.” “The way they both needed this is what makes it so special,” added another. We’re so glad that Wayne and Beau were there to keep each other company on lonely days! You can find the source of this story’s featured image here. Animals From the Shadow Realm

Paranormal reports dating back many decades have been rife with sightings of shadowy figures (literally) that have visited witnesses. These have largely been lumped into categories including the Hatman, Slenderman, and the more generic, ubiquitous "shadow people." Most such encounters are described as being unpleasant or at least disturbing. One thing they all share in common is that they seem to resemble the general shape or outline of a human figure. But while far less commonly reported, these are not the only types of shadowy figures being observed. Sometimes they take the form of animals as well, including common housepets. This is a subject that I have hesitated to cover for some time, but given events that have transpired over the past couple of years, I decided to dive in and do some research to report on it.

Preparedness Notes for Monday — July 8, 2024

On July 8, 1283, the Battle of Malta occurred during the War of the Sicilian Vespers.  From the Infogalactic wiki: “The War of the Sicilian Vespers, also shortened to the War of the Vespers, was a conflict waged by several medieval European kingdoms over control of Sicily from 1282 to 1302. The war, which started with the revolt of the Sicilian Vespers, was fought over competing dynastic claims to the throne of Sicily and grew to involve the Crown of Aragon, Angevin Kingdom of Naples, Kingdom of France, and the papacy.” — Just four more days!
