One kind neighbor made this dog the happiest pooch on the block by visiting him while his owner was at work — every day! Mackenzie Roberts shared the sweetest security camera footage on social media of the local elderly gentleman stopping by her house to see Beau on multiple occasions. Every time the man walked through the door, the pup went wild with excitement. Beau was so happy to have a visitor while waiting for Mom to come home! In Mackenzie’s clips, her neighbor would walk right into the house while the dog was sitting patiently on the couch. When the door opened, Beau’s tail would start wagging enthusiastically. Whenever he’d come over, he’d say “Hi Beau! How are you?” in the sweetest voice. Mackenzie was extremely grateful for this man’s help in keeping her pup occupied. According to her post, he did more than just visit the dog. He also made sure Beau got his exercise outdoors! “I wouldn’t have gotten through my husband’s deployment if it weren’t for my friend Wayne who took Beau to the park everyday while I was at work,” the pet owner wrote in her social media caption. Commenters loved seeing the wholesome footage of Mackenzie’s neighbor hanging out with the sweet dog. They especially loved the adorable way that Wayne addressed the pooch every time he came by. Many also noted that the elderly man seemed to be benefitting from these visits, too.
