Shelter Cat Doesn't Know How to Open Up, Hiding Away, Until She Joins Staff in Office and Totally Blossoms

A shelter cat didn't know how to open up, hiding away, until she joined the staff in the office and totally blossomed. CocoLollypop FarmCoco, the cat, was brought to Lollypop Farm last month, hoping for a chance at a better life. "Her previous caretaker had a change in their living situation and could no longer care for her," Lollypop Farm shared with Love Meow.Coco was very nervous and shy upon arrival, avoiding eye contact and hiding from everyone. "She kept her head down low in the safety of the blankets in her carrier."She stayed out of sight all day, rarely making a sound, with only her face peeking out from the cubbyhole. She kept her head down when she first arrivedLollypop FarmDespite being wary and overwhelmed by the shelter environment, Coco remained sweet and gentle and didn't have a mean bone in her body. "She would spend her days like that but would allow our staff and volunteers to give her loving pets."They hoped that, with time, Coco would warm up to people, but she continued to keep to herself. She was shy, nervous, and overwhelmedLollypop Farm"She didn't seem to be opening up and even began showing signs of depression like not eating her food."Noticing her gradual decline, staff decided to take action to lift her spirits. "In an effort to make her more comfortable, she was moved to one of the Lollypop Farm's administrative offices where she would have a quieter space with fewer people and other cats around." Lollypop FarmCoco was a bit apprehensive at first, but slowly, she mustered the courage to come out of her carrier. She curiously inspected the office, sniffing around every desk and computer, and discovered where the staff sat."She even began seeking out attention from the humans who shared the office space with her." Staff moved her to an office so she could have a quieter and more comfortable spaceLollypop FarmSeeing the staff sitting in their chairs, Coco decided to venture into a lap for some extra snuggles. She nestled onto a staff member, revealing her fluffy belly and basking in the pampering."After realizing the humans only wanted to give her love and attention, she became a lap cat." She quickly became a lap catLollypop Farm"We always knew that Coco had a sweet personality, but we weren't aware of how affectionate and loving she was until she came out of her shell in the comfort of the office she was moved to."With newfound confidence, Coco began "helping" around the office by keeping the paperwork warm with her fluffy belly, supervising the staff, and filling the space with her soothing purrs. She started "helping" around the officeLollypop FarmAs she claimed every inch of the office, her playful personality emerged. In perfect Coco fashion, she jumped into a tub of toys and thoroughly inspected them with the highest level of quality control. She blossomed into her true self and became a social butterfly. No longer hiding away, she eagerly awaited the staff's affection. She thoroughly inspected all the new dog toysLollypop FarmTwo days ago, the communications team shared a post about Coco turning a corner, featuring a video of her exploring the office and approaching the camera person for attention. Coco came out of her shell and blossomedLollypop Farm"One of our very own volunteers saw the video and came in that same day to meet her. He had just lost his beloved cat and felt as if he and Coco could help each other begin to feel better." Lollypop FarmThat day, Coco left the shelter, embarked on a new journey with the volunteer, and never looked back. She is enjoying her new life in her loving home filled with cuddles and plenty of space to climb and survey her domain. CNN Crew Warns It Won't Be Good for Trump to 'Go After Biden's Family'

Just before noon on Debate Day, CNN anchor Wolf Blitzer worried out loud about how Donald Trump may "go after Biden's family." That's how they describe raising the topic of Hunter Biden's international influence-peddling, with the millions in foreign money being distributed around many members of the Biden family. Republican analyst Scott Jennings suggested that's not a "mover" for voters. Democrat analyst Ashley Allison said raising Hunter makes Joe sympathetic, but it will be great to tag Trump as a "convicted felon."  Nobody has any shame that Democrats can play the "felon" card with Trump, but it's a mistake for Trump to throw the "felon" card back in Biden's face.   Shameless CNN pre-spin: BIDEN PREPARED FOR TRUMP TO ATTACK HIS FAMILY Blitzer's questions on the Convicted Felon spin are as tilted as the Democrat commentator. Trump going after Hunter? Bad. Joe going after Trump? "Oh, absolutely." pic.twitter.com/47r2eNhBV2 — Tim Graham (@TimJGraham) June 27, 2024 WOLF BLITZER: Do you think it's smart as there's been a lot of speculation that Trump may go after Biden's family, especially his son Hunter Biden during the course of the debate tonight? SCOTT JENNINGS: I don't -- BLITZER: Is that smart, do you think? JENNINGS: I don't think it's a mover for voters. But if part of your tactic was to try to rile your opponent, get him off his game, get Joe Biden in an emotional state, I could see that. I mean, it could be a retort to when Joe Biden goes after him, you know, on his own legal issues. He could come back at him on Hunter. I think the best ground to fight on for Trump is obviously the economy, inflation, and immigration. So, when given the choice, I think most Republicans would rather see him retreat to that ground all night long. If he does, he's going to have a good night. Blitzer then asked about "all of the criminal charges" and "convictions," a perfect Biden set-up:  BLITZER: Is it smart for Biden to go after Trump on the issue of all of the criminal charges that -- and the convictions? ASHLEY ALLISON: Oh, absolutely. I mean, that's the fact that he has committed a crime and a jury of his peers have found him guilty. And it needs -- the American people need to constantly be reminded of that. I agree. I don't think that Hunter Biden, if Donald Trump goes after Joe Biden is going to move voters. But that would give a spark in the current president to say, wait a minute, don't talk about my son. And every time he's on an opportunity to reflect on his relationship with his son, it does move Americans. It's something that people can relate to. No one should ever conclude Joe Biden enabled Hunter Biden's spiraling misbehavior by helping him earn the millions he squandered. CNN wouldn't allow that narrative.

The Supreme Court Should Have Finished the Job in the Idaho Abortion Case

The Court was right to be skeptical of the parties trying to shift their litigating positions on the fly but could have given clarity to federal law.
