“The View” host Whoopi Goldberg was shocked to admit that President Donald Trump is not at fault for the massive flash floods that have devastated central Texas, killing more than 100 people when the Guadalupe River rose some 26 feet in about 45 minutes. Goldberg, who still refuses to speak Trump’s name aloud on the ABC midday talk show, actually stepped in to stop cohost Joy Behar when she pointed the finger at the president during Tuesday’s broadcast. Cohost Alyssa Farah Griffin addressed those who were attempting to politicize the flooding, claiming that President Donald Trump’s efforts to streamline the federal government — mainly through the Department Of Government Efficiency (DOGE) — had had a negative impact on the National Weather Service’s ability to accurately predict the floods and warn residents in time. “I think after action reports are really important but politicizing and pointing fingers is not the answer,” Griffin said. “Yeah, but Trump does it all the time. She argued instead that any failures were at the state level rather than the federal level. “It’s important, I think, for everyone to understand — and I’m shocked that this is coming out of my mouth. I’m not pointing a finger at the man in the White House,” Goldberg said. “I’m saying there’s a state that is in trouble and has been. And it doesn’t seem like anything is changing. And maybe we need to get on top of that.”

The Trump administration released the names and criminal history of dozens of criminal illegal aliens currently being detained at Guantanamo Bay, including murderers, pedophiles, and drug smugglers. President Donald Trump’s Department of Homeland Security (DHS) released the names and criminal histories of 26 criminal illegal aliens currently held at the military facility, which the administration pledged to use to detain illegal aliens shortly after Trump took office. “We’re arresting criminal illegal aliens and getting them off America’s streets. Guantanamo Bay is holding the worst of the worst including child predators, rapists and murderers,” DHS Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin charged as the executive agency showcased a list of criminal illegal aliens with final orders of removal who are being held at the facility. Among those held at Guantanamo Bay are an illegal alien and Chinese national, Jin Feng Lu, who was convicted of homicide, and Shubham Singh, an Indian illegal alien convicted of child pornography. The two are joined by Honduran illegal alien Franklin Almendarez-Alvares, and illegal alien Carlos Olivo Orellana of El Salvador, both of whom were convicted of lewd acts with a minor.  There’s also Nigel Tomlinson, an illegal alien from the United Kingdom with a conviction for child sexual abuse, and Colombian illegal alien Luis Fernando Ospina Tabarez, who was convicted of smuggling heroin. Guantanamo Bay began being used to hold criminal illegal aliens after Trump signed an executive order, called “Expanding Migrant Operations Center at Naval Station Guantanamo Bay to Full Capacity,” on January 29, which directed DHS Secretary Kristi Noem to create detention space at the naval base. The military facility has reportedly been used to detain just over 660 illegal aliens, who are detained separately from those kept at the facility in connection to the war on terror. “Whether it is CECOT, Alligator Alcatraz, Guantanamo Bay or another detention facility, these dangerous criminals will not be allowed to terrorize U.S. citizens,” McLaughlin asserted. “President Trump and Secretary Noem are using every tool available to get criminal illegal aliens off our streets and out of our country. Our message is clear: Criminals are not welcome in the United States.”
