Last March the legendary The Who vocalist Roger Daltrey celebrated his 80th birthday and in an recent interview with The Times he said he doesn't have many years left. The musician who is known for always being quite sincere in his interviews‚ reflected on what he expects from his life in the following years. He also said that he felt concerned about a few things regarding his performance. The Who performed twice last March at the Teenage Cancer Trust event. Daltrey is one of the patrons of the charity trust and for decades promotes events to raise money for the institution. Those were the only two shows scheduled for The Who this year so far but Daltrey recently announced many solo tour dates. Roger Daltrey said he doesn't have many years left and talked about the future “I have to be realistic. I’m on my way out. The average life expectancy is 83 and with a bit of luck I’ll make that‚ but we need someone else to drive things.” In the same interview the musician talked about his concern about performances nowadays‚ thinking about how many words he would have to remember and also about his voice. “We haven’t done anything for seven months and this winter’s been brutal.
