ICE arrests illegal alien TikTok influencer who told migrants to seize vacant homes in the US through squatter's rights

An illegal immigrant TikTok influencer from Venezuela was arrested on Friday after bragging about his ability to siphon money from hard-working U.S. taxpayers. Leonel Moreno went viral when he posted a video telling prospective illegal immigrants that they could take advantage of squatters’ rights laws to seize vacant homes in the U.S. ICE confirmed to Fox News that Moreno had entered the U.S. illegally in April 2022 and had been released under a program that ordered him to report back in 60 days. He neglected to do so and became a fugitive. "Moreno was arrested in Gahanna‚ Ohio by officers with ERO Detroit’s Columbus office and is currently detained pending further immigration proceedings‚" read a statement from ICE to the New York Post. The 27-year-old had been recording videos on social media from Columbus‚ Ohio‚ where he lived with his girlfriend and their child. He has claimed that he has not worked a day since he arrived in the U.S. and said his family receives $350 a month from the federal government in aid. Moreno’s account on TikTok has been suspended. He had amassed over half a million followers on the short video platform. "I don't like to work‚" Moreno said in a video according to Newsweek. "Boys‚ in the U.S. there are a million tricks‚ a million things to do." In another video‚ he said he was able to make $1‚000 a day through panhandling. “You’re hurt because I make more than you without much work while you work like slaves‚ understand?” said Moreno in a video documented by the Post. “That’s the difference between you and me. I’m always going to make lots of money without much work‚ and you’re always going to be exploited and miserable and insignificant.” Moreno lamented that his TikTok account had been suspended‚ but he said he would continue to make money based on his Instagram and Facebook accounts. His Instagram has far fewer followers‚ about 17k. He also made headlines in February when he called on his followers to donate money in order to financially support a 15-year-old immigrant accused of shooting a 37-year-old woman in Times Square while he was firing at a security officer. “Because today it could have been him‚ tomorrow it could be you. Remember that life is a boomerang‚" he said at the time. "He did something wrong‚ it's okay‚ but you can hit someone‚ you can have an accident. You can go through difficult times where they judge you.” Here's more about Moreno's scam: Like Blaze News? Concrete truck driver admits to using cocaine before accident with school bus that killed 5-year-old and adult

The driver of a concrete truck admitted that he had smoked marijuana and taken cocaine before a horrible accident in Texas that took the life of a child and an adult. The accident unfolded on March 22 when a bus of pre-kindergarten children from Tom Green Elementary were returning from a field trip to the Capital of Texas Zoo in Bastrop County just outside of Austin. Security video from the school bus showed the moment the truck veered into oncoming traffic on State Highway 21‚ hitting the school bus and causing it to roll onto its side. The 5-year-old child who died as a result of the crash was identified as Ulises Rodriguez Montoya while the 33-year-old who died was identified as Ryan Wallace. Officials said a total of 53 people were harmed in the crash‚ but they did not elaborate on the conditions of each person. The driver of the concrete truck‚ 42-year-old Jerry Hernandez‚ told investigators that he had swerved in order to avoid a car in front of him who had reportedly hit their brakes quickly. Officials determined that he could have swerved the other direction rather than drive into traffic. On Friday‚ Hernandez was arrested on a warrant for criminally negligent homicide‚ according to the Texas Department of Public Safety. He also had an unrelated warrant for a bond violation. The arrest affidavit said that Hernandez admitted to smoking marijuana the night before the accident at about 10 p.m. and that he ingested cocaine at about 1 a.m. that morning. He also allegedly told police that he had only slept for three hours before the crash. Seatbelt acceleration The district said that the school bus involved in the crash did not have seatbelts. Hays CISD Superintendent Dr. Eric Wright said the district was moving to equip every bus with seatbelts more quickly than previously scheduled. “We are supposed to get our next round of buses in 3-4 weeks that all are equipped with seat belts that will make it where our entire fleet of route buses all have seat belts‚” Wright told KXAN. “Then we’re going to accelerate with our Facilities and Bond Oversight Committee with the blessing of our School Board‚ to go out to replace our spare buses with buses that all have seat belts‚" he added. The school district also praised the driver of the school bus‚ saying that she swerved in such a way that likely saved a lot of lives. A GoFundMe has been set up to help pay for the funeral costs for Ulises. Here's the video of the incident: Like Blaze News? WhatsApp for Android suddenly looks more like the iPhone app

We first learned about WhatsApp's big redesign plans for the Android app about a year ago. The new user interface appeared in beta versions of the app‚ featuring a significant change that made it look more like its iPhone counterpart. The Android redesign reappeared in beta tests but didn't move to the stable release. Fast-forward to late March and WhatsApp is finally ready for the change. The navigation bar is going to the bottom of the screen‚ and you can't do anything about it. Continue reading...
