Amazon founder Jeff Bezos’ fiancee Lauren Sanchez has been facing a lot of backlash over the revealing outfit she wore to the inauguration of President Donald Trump on Tuesday, including from journalist Megyn Kelly. Kelly didn’t mince words when it came to reviewing Sanchez’s decision to wear a low-cut lace corset under a white pantsuit for the event. “She has no class. No dignity. No respect,” the political commentator wrote on X in response to a photo of Sanchez. “This is not my first time saying that she dresses like a hooker, because she does,” Kelly said during her Sirius XM show, referring to comments she made last year about how Sanchez, 55, dressed for Bezos’ 60th birthday party.  “Have some dignity and some respect for your setting and your circumstances,” Kelly went on. “No one should be talking about your t*ts. Bezos proposed to Sanchez in May 2023 after five years of dating. As of Tuesday afternoon, she hasn’t responded to comments about her revealing outfit besides liking several supportive replies on Instagram. Sanchez wasn’t the only one who faced backlash for her outfit choice. Pennsylvania Senator John Fetterman (D) was criticized for arriving at the formal inauguration ceremony sporting his signature shorts, hoodie, and sneakers combination despite the below freezing temps on Tuesday.

My sister and I had just visited our grandparents who live on a farm in the remote Finnish countryside. It was not particularly late, perhaps around seven in the evening, but this being the north, the road was pitch black and there were no streetlights.My sister was focused on driving carefully, as you never knew when a deer might jump out on the road, but I was looking around at the side of the road, lit by the car's headlights. Suddenly, I saw the shape of a slightly unnaturally tall man standing perfectly still at the side of the road, simply staring blankly ahead while remaining still. The humanoid figure seemed to pay no attention to us or the car.The very moment I saw the humanoid figure, my brain sensed danger, I almost jumped on my seat, and my heart started beating extremely rapidly. I had never experienced that sort of sudden visceral fear before and my sudden reaction freaked out my sister who was driving. I quickly looked back and the figure was still there, but very quickly it became too dark to see.This was a very remote road with multiple kilometres to the nearest farms and there were no street lights. In theory, it is not impossible for a tall person to have been walking in the area and stopping to let the car pass, but this was but there were no houses anywhere close, it was a pitch dark road, and the temperatures were freezing. The way the humanoid was just blankly staring ahead was also very unnatural.I don't know what I saw, but it reminded me of Finnish and Scandinavian folklore and a creature called "Nuuttipukki" or "Kekripukki", which resembles a northern Scandinavian version of Krampus. The men dressed as Nuuttipukki wandered from house to house, came in, and typically demanded food from the household, especially leftover alcoholic beverages.
