Opeth’s North American Trek Launches In February
Opeth will embark on “The Last Will And Testament North American Tour Part 2,“ named after their most recent album. Support on the trek will come from Katatonia.
The band’s debut album “Orchid” dropped in 1995 and they have gone through several personnel and musical changes over the years.
“For me, I don’t believe in staying true to the roots, because those roots don’t really exist in the same way in our band as they do in maybe some other bands,” guitarist/vocalist Mikael Åkerfeld explained. “I don’t know. Our roots has always been to evolve.”
The artist pre-sale is underway. The general on-sale will be Friday, September 26th at 10 a.m. local time.
