Manhattan D.A. takes victory lap, claiming verdict shows 'no one above law' Alvin Bragg, the Manhattan district attorney responsible for bringing charges against Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump, delivered a statement to reporters after a jury found the former president guilty on all 34 counts of fraud in his criminal “hush money” trial on Thursday. The DA, who Trump has said is politically compromised, regurgitated the Democrat mantra claiming the jury’s decision showed no one is above the law, even a former president. “While this defendant may be unlike any other in American history, we arrived at this trial and ultimately today at this verdict in the same manner as every other case that comes through the courtroom doors,” Bragg said.  The “only voice that matters is the voice of the jury, and the jury has spoken,” Bragg claimed.
