New York’s 33-year-old wannabe boy mayor has addressed a wide array of topics. His own words confirm his critics’ chief charge: He’s a Communist in democratic-socialist clothing. Mamdani is relaxed about crime. Private property makes him nervous. What follows is not an exhaustive list of statements by the Democrat party’s inexperienced, untested nominee to govern America’s most populous city. However, this is an extensive collection of Mamdani’s comments. These are compiled from news reports as well as Mamdani’s speeches, videos, campaign website, X account, and a slew of his social-media posts that scrolled on Fox News’ Hannity program on August 26. That night, Left-wing former mayor Bill de Blasio used that occasion to praise Mamdani. This alone was an ominous omen. “Seeing all of these quotes in one place, at one sitting, shows how radical and wrong for New York Zohran Mamdani truly is,” said Betsy McCaughey, the Empire State’s former lieutenant governor, founder of SaveNYC.org, and leader of the anti-Mamdani opposition. “Keep reading and prepare to be shocked.” This selection of Mamdani’s declarations is organized thematically, in alphabetical order: “Climate Change” “Climate change is the central issue of our time.” “The climate crisis isn’t separate from the crisis of capitalism.” “Oppose all new fossil fuel infrastructure.” “Decarbonize Our Economy.”  Crime/Law and Order “No, we want to defund the police.” “There is no negotiating with an institution this wicked & corrupt. Defund it. Dismantle it. End the cycle of violence.” “Queer liberation means defund the police. Mamdani now claims that he no longer would defund the police. How convenient! “We don’t need an investigation to know that the NYPD is racist, anti-queer & a major threat to public safety.” As of November 2024, NYPD’s majority-minority ranks were 11.3 percent Asian, 16.5 percent black, 32.5 percent Hispanic, and 39.7 percent white. As for being “anti-queer” — please excuse that hideous epithet — NYPD employs gays, patrols at gay-pride events, and fosters safety so that scores of local gay-owned enterprises can flourish. “End cash bail.” “We’re going to abolish cash bail in New York State.” “Decriminalize sex work.” “Sex workers in Queens endure nonstop harassment not only from bigots, but from the NYPD. There’s no pride in police violence. We need #decrim now.” “Permit safe injection sites.” “As Mayor, I will disband the SRG, which has cost taxpayers millions in lawsuit settlements and brutalized countless New Yorkers exercising their first amendment [sic] rights.” Mamdani made this last statement via X on December 19, 2024. He referred to the NYPD’s Strategic Response Group. If Mamdani had his way, the SRG would have been dust in the wind. This would have eased gunman Shane Tamura’s mission: to murder even more innocents during his July 28 mass shooting in Midtown Manhattan. Instead, the SRG arrived in just two minutes. Tamura weighed his options and then fatally shot himself. There is much more. “The entire carceral system is an unreformable public health hazard,” Mamdani announced via social media, “Defund & dismantle.” “What purpose do they serve?” he asked about prisons. “What violent crime is — is defined by the state,” Mamdani told a 2021 protest outside the Manhattan District Attorney’s office. Pro-criminal Leftists aimed to scrap cash bail and padlock Rikers Island jail. Mamdani further psychobabbled, “Violence is an artificial construction.” “White supremacy has many faces from the police & prison systems in America to occupation & apartheid in Palestine.” The Economy Mamdani’s fiscal approach is simple: Tax, spend, and expropriate. Zohranomics is driven by what he told the Democratic Socialists of America in 2021. Their “end goal” should be “seizing the means of production.” This notion comes straight out of V.I. Lenin’s The State and Revolution. “NY should exercise eminent domain & acquire the 4k+ unsold luxury apartment in NYC, for homeless families.” “We freeze the rent.” “We need to abolish private insurance.” Mamdani wants a $30-per-hour minimum wage. (Why not $100-per-hour?) “When we tax the rich, we’re reclaiming the wealth bosses & corporations steal.” Freebies for All “We need: Free abortion & contraception on demand.” “Zohran will implement free childcare for every New Yorker aged 6 weeks to 5 years.” Mamdani says on X that he is, “Running to freeze the rent, make buses fast + free, and deliver universal childcare.” “As Mayor, Zohran will create a network of city-owned grocery stores focused on keeping prices low, not making a profit.” “Abolish ‘medical bills.’” “We need a statewide, single-payer health system.” Illegal Aliens “We’re showing up in Bryant Park to say NO to Trump’s union-busting, anti-immigrant, anti-LGBT agenda” Note Mamdani’s deceptive deployment of the Left’s dustiest weapon: Trump is “anti-immigrant.” Wrong! Trump welcomes legal immigrants, who arrive with passports and visas. He opposes illegal aliens, who break into America with neither permission nor papers. Israel and Anti-Semitism “Israel is committing a genocide.” “Yesterday Andrew Cuomo said he was joining Netanyahu’s legal defense team. I would take a different approach to war criminals.” “As mayor, New York City would arrest Benjamin Netanyahu,” Mamdani told Mehdi Hasan of Middle East Eye last December 2. “There’s no queer liberation under occupation. Not for the queer Palestinians murdered by the IDF.” “BDS is a righteous movement for liberation.” “We continue that fight today for a better world and a free Palestine.” “Stop NY-registered charities from donating money to illegal Israeli settlements.” Mamdani repeatedly and steadfastly refuses to condemn the inflammatory, anti-Semitic phrase, “Globalize the Intifada.” Private Property Mamdani is relaxed about crime. Private property makes him nervous. In a video that resurfaced in mid-July, Mamdani said: “If there was [sic] any system that could guarantee each person housing, whether you call it the abolition of private property or you call it, you know, just a statewide housing guarantee, it is preferable to what is going on right now.” “Mamdani isn’t offering a housing plan — he’s pushing a Communist manifesto. The idea of abolishing private property is fundamentally anti-American and wildly out of touch with the real issues New Yorkers face,” Congressman Nick Langworthy (R-New York) told the New York Post. “New York City has to decide: Do they want a mayor who believes in safety and prosperity, or a Communist who wants to seize your home?” Second Amendment Regarding the Second Amendment, Zohran Mamdani cannot count to two. What does he think of the right to keep and bear arms? “We need to ban all guns.” Socialismo o muerte “We are unapologetic about our socialism.” “We can build a socialist NY.” “New York is the birthplace of a global socialist feminist movement.” “Comrades” is how Mamdani refers to his Democrat legislative colleagues in Albany. All of this leaves Zohran Mamdani warm and toasty. This week, ABC pulled Jimmy Kimmel Live! off the air after the Trump administration threatened to revoke the broadcast licenses of local affiliates who platformed the show. President Trump commented on the cancellation while aboard Air Force One. He said: When you have a network and you have evening shows and all they do is hit Trump, that’s all they do — if you go back, I guess they haven’t had a conservative on in  years, or something — when you go back and take a look at it, all they do is hit Trump. They’re licensed. They’re not allowed to do that. Trump is wrong. They are allowed to do that. Their right to do that is at the core of the First Amendment. If President Obama threatened to revoke the licenses of the radio stations that carried Rush Limbaugh or other conservative talk show hosts, conservatives would have been in an uproar. What would have been wrong then is still wrong now. As evil and enraging as it is to see people celebrate Charlie Kirk’s death, that is not a crime. The initial justification for FCC Chairman Brendan Carr exerting pressure on ABC and the local affiliates to drop Kimmel was that Kimmel essentially lied about the identity of Charlie Kirk’s assassin. Kimmel implied to his audience that the killer had been a Trump supporter, when in fact, the killer was a radical Leftist who had “hey fascist, catch!” and “Bella Ciao” engraved on his bullets, and was motivated by a desire to “protect” his transgender romantic partner from Charlie Kirk’s political speech. “I had enough of his hatred. Some hate can’t be negotiated out,” the killer wrote. Kimmel’s misrepresentation that the killer was a Trump supporter was a disgusting lie and it was part of a misinformation campaign that has been working on the public. A YouGov poll conducted in the days after the shooting revealed that a plurality of respondents with an opinion — 24 percent — believed the shooter was a Republican. This willful lie came at a time when Republicans are under threat in this country: Destiny, a far-Left but popular political commentator, said “You need conservatives to be afraid of getting killed when they go to events so that they can look to their leadership to turn down the temperature. The issue is, right now, they don’t feel like there is any fear.” He said this on a livestream in the wake of Charlie Kirk’s murder. As someone who helped organize a vigil for Charlie Kirk in Washington Square Park, I can attest to the fact that security concerns are at the forefront of conservative activists’ minds when planning events. We had to have NYPD and private security present and had to stay very vigilant in monitoring the area for possible attacks. Luckily, despite interruptions where people said they were glad Charlie Kirk died and chanted “Free Palestine,” there was no violence. At a separate vigil hosted at the same location a few days later, however, a far-Left protester sang to NYU College Republicans President Ryan Leonard, “I want you to fucking die,” and warned, “we’re not going to give you a second chance, even when you beg for it, on your knees, begging and pleading.” Another protester — these are people who protest against a vigil — sang Bella Ciao, the anti-Nazi and anti-fascist song that was engraved on one of Charlie Kirk’s assassin’s bullets. Unfortunately, the hatred expressed in those statements is commonplace on the Left. According to a YouGov poll, only 38 percent of Democrats said it’s “always unacceptable” to feel happy about the death of a public figure they oppose, compared to 77 percent of Republicans who said it’s “always unacceptable.” Similarly, another poll conducted by the Network Contagion Research Institute showed that 55 percent of Americans who identified as left of center thought it would be “at least somewhat justified” to murder Donald Trump. That is unacceptable, and it is very hard to maintain a constitutional democracy when that many people approve of and welcome political violence. Over the last week, we’ve seen many Charlie Kirk memorials vandalized and destroyed, including at my law school. Conservatives are justly outraged by the celebration of Charlie Kirk’s death that they have seen from some on the Left. However — however — we have to be smart about how we approach this. The people who make threats or incite violence, such as the commentator Destiny and the protester who threatened the College Republicans President with murder, should absolutely be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. As of this writing, the DOJ has not brought charges against Destiny, but they should. Thankfully, many of the people who have destroyed Charlie Kirk’s vigils and destroyed people’s property have been arrested and charged. However, conservatives must resist the urge to crackdown on free speech and weaponize the instruments of government against their political opponents in ways that we will all regret. Administration officials, including Trump, have already gone too far in this regard. Stephen Miller, whose advocacy on a whole host of issues has been invaluable, was wrong when he accused Rep. Ilhan Omar of “inciting violence” when she said, “I do believe those of you who are interested in rewriting this hateful man’s history are full of shit.” Ilhan Omar’s words were not an incitement to violence. They were offensive and wrong, but they were not an incitement to violence. Incitement to violence is illegal. Offensive speech — even when it is hateful — is not. This is a principle that Republicans have advocated strongly for up until five minutes ago. On a podcast, Attorney General Pam Bondi, said “There’s free speech, and then there’s hate speech … We will absolutely target you, go after you, if you are targeting anyone with hate speech.” Pam Bondi is wrong. On the podcast, she invoked the assassination of Charlie Kirk as an added reason to “target” people who engage in hate speech. But Charlie Kirk himself outright rejected that argument. “Hate speech does not exist legally in America. There’s ugly speech. There’s gross speech. There’s evil speech. And ALL of it is protected by the First Amendment. Keep America free,” he tweeted in May 2024. The term “hate speech” has been used to silence conservative voices on college campuses across America for years. It has been wielded at people who support Trump, support the construction of a border wall, or oppose racial preferences in hiring practices. To see the right adopt that term — the leaders of our government nonetheless — is a betrayal of everything we fought for regarding free speech for years. The government cannot and should not police thought crimes. As evil and enraging as it is to see people celebrate Charlie Kirk’s death, that is not a crime. If we are going to combat the evil that has captivated much of the population, we have to do it through winning the battle of ideas. When Congress passed legislation codifying the FCC’s prior fairness doctrine into law, President Reagan vetoed it. He described “content-based regulation by the Federal Government” as “antagonistic to the freedom of expression guaranteed by the First Amendment.” Conservatives and classical liberals have long been advocates of free speech. Government censorship is not okay just because Trump is engaging in it. When Trump was running for President, he said “We are not the ones trying to undermine American democracy. We are the ones fighting to save our democracy.” I agreed with Trump then and would like to see him continue in that spirit now. That is why I campaigned for him in Bucks County, volunteered at his Madison Square Garden rally, and phone-banked for him during the last election. I want to live in a great country, not fight over who will reign over a corner of hell. By threatening to remove the licenses of his critics and investigate people who engage in “hate speech,” Trump is making America less free. Trump’s election was intended as a repudiation of Biden’s weaponization of the DOJ and other agencies to silence political critics — not a license to adopt those tactics ourselves. I was saddened to learn last week of the death of the Sundance Kid. I’ve always thought of Robert Redford as Sundance because he wasn’t really Robert Redford until he played the Sundance Kid against Paul Newman’s Butch Cassidy in that very amusing 1969 movie. Before that he was just another Hollywood pretty face. After, he was an international star on his way to fame and fortune in a long and successful career on the silver screen. “A star is different from an actor,” Epstein wrote. “Stars always play themselves, while actors play characters.” And no wonder. The movie, though laced with the odd liberal sermonette, is funny and charming. Redford’s Sundance is riveting. It’s beautifully filmed, has a pleasing soundtrack, and gives us some memorable movie lines, including but not limited to: “Who are those guys,” “You just keep thinking, Butch. It’s what you’re good at,” and “Think ya used enough dynamite there, Butch?” I also enjoyed the incomparable Strother Martin’s, “I’m not crazy, I’m just colorful.” In subsequent Redford roles there was almost always a little to a lot of Sundance. A straight, competent, confident, and courageous alpha male who deals with the problem the movie presents and wins the pretty girl in the process. Just the type that Hollywood rarely gives us today. In this regard I call the jury’s attention to 1975’s Three Days of the Condor, an implausible story with the usual liberal tilt, in which Redford is watchable as he unravels the mystery and outwits and defeats the bad guys while managing to fall into the arms of a radiant young Faye Dunaway. The ending, where the Redford character tells a CIA bad guy played by Cliff Robertson that the New York Times will save us, depending on one’s mood, induces either laughter or gagging. But the trip with Sundance and his lovely companion was enjoyable enough that I ignored this knee-slapper. (I also admire Max von Sydow’s fine supporting role as the amoral assassin, Jobert.) In his attitude, speech, and behavior, Sundance is a very American character. Redford always stayed in this character, even when he played British aristocrat Denys Finch-Haton, who woos and wins Meryl Streep’s Karen Blixen in 1985’s Out of Africa. It was of course world-class miscasting to have Sundance playing a posh Brit with two last names. It would make as much artistic sense casting Gabby Hayes as the Archbishop of Canterbury. But in 1985 Redford’s box office appeal was enormous, so the makers of the movie knew movie-goers would happily go along with the gag, regardless of this disconnect. Few even noticed it. In his Tuesday tribute, our own Bruce Bawer (one of my literary heroes — I counsel to be on the lookout for his byline) explores Redford’s tragic flaw, that being his naïve, off-the-rack, Hollywood liberalism which infected and disfigured many of his movies. But Bruce concludes, as I do, that even though many of Redford’s sappy message movies are best ignored, there is much for anyone of any politics to admire in much of Redford’s work, both in front of and behind the camera. In Friday’s Wall Street Journal the estimable Joseph Epstein makes the case that Redford was “the last movie star,” the biggest attraction from the end of the era when the only way to watch movies was to go to a  theater. And we all watched the same movies back then. No more. Today movies are spread across countless streaming services and are often made for specific demographics and interest groups. For good or ill, movies are no longer part of our shared culture. “A star is different from an actor,” Epstein wrote. “Stars always play themselves, while actors play characters.” True enough. Ticket buyers during Redford’s heyday went to the local Bijou to see the latest Redford, in the way movie-goers of a previous time flocked to the theaters to see the latest Duke Wayne (even when the critics said it was bad for them to do so). No one inhabited the screen in the way Redford and the Duke did during their times.  There were others before these two, both actors and actresses, who dominated the silver screen. But none, Epstein rightly suggests, since then. How many today eagerly anticipate the latest Clooney, the latest Pitt, or that latest Neeson? I can’t leave the subject without picking this nit with the departed Sundance (a complaint doubtless shared by many men of a certain age). After the failure of my first marriage, I was thrown back on the dating scene at the peak of Redford’s popularity in the late seventies and the eighties. The women I went out with would often want to go to the latest Redford movie. How could I say no? But after two hours in the dark watching the knee-bucklingly handsome Redford, the credits would roll, the theater lights would come up, and my date would look over and realize that she was going home with me. There usually followed the kind of sigh a guy doesn’t want to hear. Just one example: I went out a few times with an attractive woman who stands six-feet tall in her stocking feet. In heels, she was eyeball-to-eyeball with my then 6-3 ½. (Age and back surgery have whittled me down to 6-2.) As we were leaving the theater after watching All the President’s Men, I was treated to the usual sigh. It went in this wise: She: “Sigh.” Me: “HE’S SHORT!” (OK, he wasn’t that short. But what else did I have to fall back on?) She: (In a dreamy voice.) “I don’t care.” But time moves on. My second marriage was the charm. I’m happy now and no longer sore at Redford who charmed my dates of yesteryear. Redford/Sundance made some political movies that are little more than scolds, and will not be long remembered. But he made enough good ones to be a memorable and positive American figure, and to justify my sincere regret at his passing. RIP Sundance. Another fairly large group of people suffer such extreme cognitive dissonance every time the topic is brought up that they either completely shut down and can't/won't process it, or they become violently and emotionally angry and lash out at me for even raising the issue. But here's what's a little different this time, and what will cause even more distress on the second group of people: the "Legacy Media" aka the MSM is now starting to admit it. Could humans cool the planet by reflecting sunlight away from Earth? It's called solar geoengineering, and it is something that scientists are working on, even if we don't hear much about it. Peter Irvine is a climate scientist and teaches at University College London. Welcome to the program. PETER IRVINE: Thanks for having me. RASCOE: So can you give us a better sense of what solar geoengineering is? IRVINE: Solar geoengineering, yeah, as you said, describes a set of ideas to increase the amount of light that the Earth reflects back to space. And that could counter the warming effect of the greenhouse gases we've been adding ourselves. There's a couple of different ideas. The most promising one would aim to mimic the effect of volcanic eruptions. So some of the biggest eruptions in history, like Tambora in 1815, Pinatubo in 1991 - the big eruption goes off, and the very powerful ones penetrate up into the stratosphere, which is a high layer in the atmosphere. And there the particles that they release scatter around the entire planet and then reflect light away for a couple of years. And in the years after these big eruptions, we see temperatures dip and then slowly recover. And the idea is that we could create that effect, but persistently, to help offset future global warming. RASCOE: So how would this work? IRVINE: Yeah. So volcanoes put up a few million tons - the big ones that have this cooling effect put up a few million tons of this gas, sulfur dioxide, into the stratosphere. You could get an aircraft to fly that high, dump this gas and come back down. And with enough of them, you could get millions of tons up. We're talking tens to hundreds of aircraft, so it's not a huge amount. And every engineering assessment today comes to the same conclusion. This is feasible and relatively cheap. We could offset basically the difference between where we're headed, which seems to be something like 2 1/2 Celsius of global warming, to where we want to be, which is 1 1/2, or to limit it to that much, at about $20 billion per year, which is a lot of money, but not a lot of money compared to the costs of climate change and the costs of dealing with it. RASCOE: How would sulfur dioxide cool the planet? Like, how does that work? IRVINE: Just like the volcanic eruption, we would be adding this sulfur dioxide gas, which goes on to react in the atmosphere to form these really tiny droplets. And they're so tiny that they effectively stay suspended in the air. And now, this happens in the lower atmosphere. These little particles are responsible for the haze you see on many days. And they stay suspended until they get caught up in rain clouds and rained out. But up in the upper atmosphere, it's very dry. There's no clouds. And so these particles persist for several years until they gradually, slowly fall down. And so yeah, this relatively small amount of material that we could put into the upper atmosphere would have this disproportionately large cooling effect. RASCOE: What is the risk from, you know, releasing the sulfur dioxide? IRVINE: Well, I think the first thing to note is this is not an alternative to cutting greenhouse gas emissions. The CO2 would still be there. It'd still be having this warming effect on the planet. And this would only be a temporary cooling effect to sort of offset some of the consequences. It would also have some side effects similar - well, the same side effects that volcanoes do. The sulfur dioxide adds to acid rain a little. It would delay the recovery of the ozone hole by some time, and it would make the sky a little hazier. But yeah, it would have these side effects, and they're not good. But the question is, it seems that they're a lot less bad than climate change would be. A likely contributor to all the sickness and disease and dis-ease we all feel? Very likely. So Response #2 goes like this - these are nothing more that contrails from airplanes.  Just a jet stream. The only problem with this is two-fold: One, contrails do exist, but they evaporate very quickly and don't stay in the air. See the big picture at the top of this article? Those are crossing chemtrail lines (they love to spray them in X or crosshatch patterns) and those have been in the sky often for over and hour long.  Not contrails.  Not dissipating. The other big problem with Response #2? CNBC just told you that chemtrails are real, and I'll cover that in just a moment. Response #3 - they can't be chemtrails because every pilot and airport in the world would have to be "in on it" and that's just not possible.  Plus no one could be that evil.  I just don't want to believe it so I refuse to even consider it. Now let's go to CNBC and the White House, who both now fully admit this is happening. They call them "stratospheric aerosol injections". We've reported on that term for a long time -- John Brennan himself admitted it about 10 years ago at the CFR. But now even CNBC is covering it. The research plan will assess climate interventions, including spraying aerosols into the stratosphere to reflect sunlight back into space, and should include goals for research, what’s necessary to analyze the atmosphere, and what impact these kinds of climate interventions may have on Earth, according to the White House’s Office of Science and Technology Policy. Congress directed the research plan be produced in its spending plan for 2022, which President Joe Biden signed in March. Some of the techniques, such as spraying sulfur dioxide into the atmosphere, are known to have harmful effects on the environment and human health. But scientists and climate leaders who are concerned that humanity will overshoot its emissions targets say research is important to figure out how best to balance these risks against a possibly catastrophic rise in the Earth’s temperature. Getting ready to research a topic is a very preliminary step, but it’s notable the White House is formally engaging with what has largely been seen as the stuff of dystopian fantasy. In Kim Stanley Robinson’s science fiction novel, “The Ministry for the Future,” a heat wave in India kills 20 million people and out of desperation, India decides to implement its own strategy of limiting the sunlight that gets to Earth. Chris Sacca, the founder of climate tech investment fund Lowercarbon Capital, said it’s prudent for the White House to be spearheading the research effort. “Sunlight reflection has the potential to safeguard the livelihoods of billions of people, and it’s a sign of the White House’s leadership that they’re advancing the research so that any future decisions can be rooted in science not geopolitical brinkmanship,” Sacca told CNBC. (Sacca has donated money to support research in the area, but said he has “zero financial interests beyond philanthropy” in the idea and does not think there should be private business models in the space, he told CNBC.) Harvard professor David Keith, who first worked on the topic in 1989, said it’s being taken much more seriously now. He points to formal statements of support for researching sunlight reflection from the Environmental Defense Fund, the Union of Concerned Scientists, and the Natural Resources Defense Council, and the creation of a new group he advises called the Climate Overshoot Commission, an international group of scientists and lawmakers that’s evaluating climate interventions in preparation for a world that warms beyond what the Paris Climate Accord recommended. To be clear, nobody is saying sunlight-reflection modification is the solution to climate change. Reducing emissions remains the priority. “You cannot judge what the country does on solar-radiation modification without looking at what it is doing in emission reductions, because the priority is emission reductions,” said Janos Pasztor, executive director of the Carnegie Climate Governance Initiative. “Solar-radiation modification will never be a solution to the climate crisis.” Three ways to reduce sunlight The idea of sunlight reflection first appeared prominently in a 1965 report to President Lyndon B. Johnson, entitled “Restoring the Quality of Our Environment,” Keith told CNBC. The report floated the idea of spreading particles over the ocean at a cost of $100 per square mile. A one percent change in the reflectivity of the Earth would cost $500 million per year, which does “not seem excessive,” the report said, “considering the extraordinary economic and human importance of climate.” The estimated price tag has gone up since then. The current estimate is that it would cost $10 billion per year to run a program that cools the Earth by 1 degree Celsius, said Edward A. Parson, a professor of environmental law at UCLA’s law school. But that figure is seen to be remarkably cheap compared to other climate change mitigation initiatives. A landmark report released in March 2021 from the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine addressed three kinds of solar geoengineering: stratospheric aerosol injection, marine cloud brightening, and cirrus cloud thinning. Stratospheric aerosol injection would involve flying aircraft into the stratosphere, or between 10 miles and 30 miles skyward, and spraying a fine mist that would hang in the air, reflecting some of the sun’s radiation back into space. “The stratosphere is calm, and things stay up there for a long time,” Parson told CNBC. “The atmospheric life of stuff that’s injected in the stratosphere is between six months and two years.” Stratospheric aerosol injection “would immediately take the high end off hot extremes,” Parson said. And also it would “pretty much immediately” slow extreme precipitation events, he said. “The top-line slogan about stratospheric aerosol injection, which I wrote in a paper more than 10 years ago — but it’s still apt — is fast, cheap and imperfect. Fast is crucial. Nothing else that we do for climate change is fast. Cheap, it’s so cheap,” Parson told CNBC. “And it’s not imperfect because we haven’t got it right yet. It’s imperfect because the imperfection is embedded in the way it works. The same reason it’s fast is the reason that it’s imperfect, and there’s no way to get around that.” One option for an aerosol is sulfur dioxide, the cooling effects of which are well known from volcanic eruptions. The 1991 eruption of Mount Pinatubo, for instance, spewed thousands of tons of sulfur dioxide into the stratosphere, causing global temperatures to drop temporarily by about 1 degree Fahrenheit, according to the U.S. Geological Survey. I know some of you have such serious cognitive dissonance that you can't physically bring yourself to look up in the sky and see the chemicals being sprayed in the air above you. That's ok, but I'm going to continue reporting on it regardless. We've covered this topic many times and provided countless evidence (beyond just using your eyes and looking up!) all of which I will copy down below in case you want more reading. How do you think they accomplish the cloud seeding? Rain dances? Sorry folks...it's by spraying large amounts of chemicals into the sky to form the clouds. Here it is in black & white literally admitted verbatim to chemtails -- from The Guardian: On Wednesday, China’s south-western province of Sichuan said it would ration power supplies to homes, offices and shopping malls, after having already ordered producers of energy-intensive metals and fertiliser to curb operations. In what appears to be an official call to cut electricity use, government offices were asked to set air conditioners no lower than 26C (79F) and use the stairs instead of lifts, the Sichuan Daily said. Fountains, light shows and commercial activities after dark are to be suspended, it added. On Wednesday, the central province of Hubei became the latest to unveil an effort to induce rainfall, by sending airplanes to fire the chemical silver iodide into the clouds. Other regions on the Yangtze have also launched “cloud seeding” programmes, but with cloud cover too thin, operations in some parched areas have stayed on standby. Power shortages have also prompted several companies in the sprawling Chongqing region bordering Sichuan to say they would suspend production. Let's keep going, this was just the tip of the iceberg! Why do the so-called "Elites" seem to hate the sun so much? They constantly warn of "global warming"... They are obsessed with ways to block out the sun... Which only tells me one thing: the Sun must be VERY important. And never has a photo been more significant than one I snapped recently. The photo you see above is a photo I actually took myself...two MASSIVE chemtrails in an "X" formation and it just so happened when I snapped the shot that they "X'ed" out the sun. Fitting, isn't it? This makes me so furious, here's what they are doing, it's really almost beyond comprehension... First, you have to understand these are NOT "frozen water vapors" like they try to claim. Those are real and they are called "contrails" short for "condensation trails" and they are very short behind a plane and evaporate quickly. Chemtrails are different. They don't go away quickly. They grow and spread out over the entire sky over the course of an afternoon. They're often sprayed in X or cross-hatch patterns to get maximum coverage in the sky. And...they contain heavy metals like aluminum, barium and now confirmed to have graphene. All extremely toxic to humans. Now here's the most insidious part: these evil "elites" are spraying these day after day after day literally poisoning the air we breathe and then they have the GALL to claim that humans are destroying the ozone layer by our use of carbon-based fossil fuels. It's true that humans are destroying the environment, but it's not just by living. It's this small group of elite sickos who are literally spraying the skies day after day with toxic heavy metals! Then they claim we have to join the Paris Accord and give up all our freedoms and pay yet another tax (a "carbon tax" -- what a joke!). It's the same game plan they run over and over. Take COVID. Cook up COVID in a biolab in Ukraine or China, release it to the public, use the MSM to hype it up and work everyone into a panic, and then tell everyone the only cure is to take their poison vaccine. It's the same cycle over and over and over again.... THEY create a problem, they use their propaganda machines in the MSM to work everyone into a panic, then THEY roll out their solution, which is usually worse than the problem! Sick, sick, sick stuff! Sean over at SGT Report just had Dane Wigington back on his show to talk more about this. They go into everything in much greater detail and I really want you to watch this video. Watch and then share. We have to wake people up to what is literally being poisoned in the skies right above them! And yes, they answer all the common questions like: Aren't they poisoning themselves too?  Why do it? How do we know what metals are in the spray? What video evidence do we have of the spraying? Here are a few more photos I took from a couple weeks ago while I was enjoying a nice afternoon at the park with my kids. The day started off with big, beautiful blue skies...not a cloud in the sky. And then, this started happening: There still wasn't a cloud in the sky, but there these things! Chemtrails. I just have to wonder what most people think when they look up and see this... Serious question. Here are the options I've come up with so far: Option 1- they don't even think about it.  Never even occurs to them. Option 2- they think they are normal condensation trails ("contrails") caused by planes. Option 3- they know something is wrong but don't know what or what they can do about it. My hunch is over half the population falls into Option 1. They are literally spraying heavy chemicals into the skies above us -- into the air we breathe -- and I have to believe if the majority of the people understood that and thought about it, there would be hell to pay. But as it stands, I almost never hear anyone even question it. Then I think there is a group of people like this Harvard Professor below, who I think fall into Option 2. It can't possibly be a "conspiracy" (even though all the other conspiracies seem to be coming true before our eyes). No, they say -- all explainable by science! Besides, they say, the government couldn't possibly keep something like that a secret! And all the commercial airline pilots and crew couldn't keep it a secret either, they say! Watch the short video and then I'll give my reaction: Ok, so my take? First, "compartmentalization" explains most of what the government keeps secret. There are very, very few people who know the "whole picture" and the whole plan of any operation. Everyone else just works on their small part and never has any idea or reason to question how it all fits together. Second, no one who believes these are chemical trails believes they are attached to commercial airplanes.  That's just stupid and an intentional red herring to alter the argument. No, the people who believe these are chemical trails believe these are government planes or private planes or both. Again, compartmentalized by a very small subset of people and probably people who get very specific and limited orders and are not told anything further. And they're not just "condensation trails" either. Let's take a moment to address that. Condensation trails DO exist and are normal. In fact, back in the 1980s I remember seeing a lot of them. I even remember as a kid watching them go across the sky and how quickly they disappeared. Read that last part again: they ALWAYS quickly dissipated! I even remember holding my finger up in the sky to track how quickly they would dissipate and go away completely (hey, we didn't have anything else to do, there was no internet!). But that's a key point. They NEVER lasted for longer than a very short stretch of the sky and they never spread out over time over the course of a whole afternoon. Contrails exist, but they are VERY different from chemtrails. Chemtrails have heavy chemicals designed to stay in the air and spread out. They don't dissipate. They expand. Big difference. Now, here's the real kicker... Would you be surprised to know that the Deep State doesn't even try to hide it? They ADMIT it! I find it so hilarious when people who think it's a "conspiracy theory" try to defend them, and I want to just ask them....you do know that even the Deep Staters like John Brennan are admitting it? Right? Right.....? The thing is, they don't call them "chemtrails". No, that would be too obvious. They call them "stratospheric aerosol injections". Which is a super fancy way of saying chemtrails. Literally injecting heavy metals into the sky. Other times they call them "geo-engineering". They all mean the same thing.
