Megyn Kelly delivers EPIC rant to Piers Morgan about Jill Biden: ‘She wants a shadow presidency’

Since Joe Biden’s disastrous debate against Donald Trump in the first presidential debate, the first lady has been in the headlines perhaps more than ever. Recent footage shows Jill Biden giving speeches and hyping up her husband. She’s even on the cover of Vogue magazine’s August issue. Why the sudden keenness for the camera? Dave Rubin plays a clip of Megyn Kelly telling Piers Morgan her thoughts on the possible motivations behind Jill’s abrupt publicity. Piers Morgan Looks Visibly Shocked When Megyn Kelly Said This youtu.be “What do you think of Jill Biden’s role here and her responsibilities?” Morgan asked, setting the stage for Kelly’s brutal castigation. “I think she’s been exposed as a power-hungry aspirant herself to political power,” she responded frankly. “She is on the cover of Vogue magazine right now. Why? Because she wants to promote herself,” Kelly continued, adding that Jill also “tweeted out a photo of herself sitting in the president's chair not long ago when he was preparing for the G7 meeting.” Kelly also pointed out the first lady’s insistence on being referred to as “Dr. Jill Biden.” “She's got her Ph.D. ... in education,” she told Morgan. “I don't make fun of that degree; my own father had that degree, but my father would never have insisted somebody call him Dr. Kelly.” “He went by professor, and that was a title he'd earned. Why does she insist on [being called Dr.]? Because she's power hungry — because she has a small, fractured ego that she needs built up. She needs the affirmation of strangers to give her an honorarium,” Kelly criticized. “I do think it's tied to what we're seeing now — the big reveal about her. She's power hungry ... what did we see from her on debate night? We saw her take the stage and guide the president of the United States down the stairs like a mama would.” “And then after the debate that clip that was everywhere with her saying, ‘You did it! You answered all the questions’ — again speaking to him the way I speak to my dog when he sits on command. ... She knows how infirm he is. She wants a shadow presidency.” To hear Kelly’s epic rant, watch the clip above. I would never ditch Apple for a Galaxy Z Flip 6, but now I really want a foldable iPhone

I would never ditch Apple for a Galaxy Z Flip 6, but now I really want a foldable iPhone

Samsung unveiled the Galaxy Z Flip 6, Z Fold 6, and several wearables on Wednesday, including the all-new Galaxy Ring. While BGR's Chris Smith already had hands-on with these products, I couldn't help but get excited about a foldable iPhone after seeing the new Galaxy Z Flip 6. Previous rumors suggested that the new Galaxy Z Flip 6 and Galaxy Z Fold 6's new hinge would be key to Apple's upcoming foldable iPhone. In late May, reliable tipster Ice Universe said Samsung would improve its crease. Then, The Elec said the company would increase the UTG thickness from 30 to 50 micrometers, making the thicker glass more durable. Thankfully, those rumors were true. Apple had reportedly asked Samsung Display and LG Display for screens without creases, and now it seems we're closer than ever to getting a foldable iPhone. With the new Z phones, the crease is less noticeable — albeit only slightly — which means we could be coming closer to the perfect foldable display for a new kind of iPhone. Image source: José Adorno for BGR Rumors so far are a bit tricky. Several reports suggest Apple is working on an iPad/Mac hybrid. However, the company doesn't discard a possible foldable iPhone as soon as 2026 – or 2027 for the 20th anniversary of the first iPhone. Still, analysts say Apple only has two requirements for releasing a foldable iPhone: It needs to be as thick as the current models, and the crease can't be that noticeable. As Samsung is getting there with its current Z Fold lineup, this could mean Cupertino is ramping up research for a new iPhone. Why a foldable iPhone could entice customers Image source: José Adorno for BGR While I love how reliable the iPhone is, I miss the old days when Apple was creative and introduced breakthrough experiences. If the company ever enters the foldable market, I hope it will create something that will take longer to catch up with. For example, it's been seven years since Face ID was introduced. To this day, no other tech company offers a system as good as TrueDepth, and this shows how much Apple can still innovate. In addition, seeing all the different creative modes Z Flip unlocks makes me look forward to something similar from Apple. A foldable iPhone could make Apple's phones more interesting, innovative, and, with Apple Intelligence just around the corner, more useful. Samsung just unveiled an Interpret Mode that makes it easy to translate a conversation. While you see the translation from what the person is saying on the main display, the other person will see what you're saying on the outer screen. That's an awesome use of this type of phone design. BGR will continue reporting on Apple's effort to develop a foldable iPhone while enjoying what we currently have with Samsung innovations. Don't Miss: Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6 is basically a Galaxy S24 that folds in half (hands-on) The post I would never ditch Apple for a Galaxy Z Flip 6, but now I really want a foldable iPhone appeared first on BGR. In order to save democracy we must replace the democratically-nominated candidate with someone no one voted for

In order to save democracy we must replace the democratically-nominated candidate with someone no one voted for

In the hallowed tradition of American democracy, where the people’s voice is sacrosanct, we face an unprecedented challenge that demands an equally unprecedented solution: to save democracy, we must replace our democratically nominated candidate, Joe Biden, with someone no one voted for. Now, I know what you’re thinking: “But isn’t that the opposite of democracy?” And to that, I say, precisely! Sometimes, the best way to preserve something is to do the exact opposite of what it stands for. Allow me to explain. Joe Biden was nominated and elected by the people, which, on the surface, seems like a democratic process. But what if the very act of following democratic norms is what’s endangering our democracy? The fact that Biden received votes from millions of Americans might seem like a mandate, but it could also be a sign that we’re all too dependent on this outdated system of popular choice. Consider the wisdom of crowds. When too many people agree on something, it creates a dangerous consensus. This is why, for the sake of democracy, we need to disrupt this harmony and introduce a candidate who hasn’t been tainted by the corrupting influence of widespread approval. This new candidate must emerge from the shadows, someone who hasn’t been subjected to the whimsical preferences of the electorate. Think about the implications. If we only allow people who have been voted for to lead us, we’re limiting ourselves to a pool of candidates who have been influenced by the very process we’re trying to protect. It’s a vicious cycle. By choosing someone no one voted for, we ensure that our leader is completely free from the biases and expectations of the populace. This is the purest form of democracy – a leader untainted by public opinion. Imagine the possibilities. A leader who doesn’t have to pander to voters or make promises they can’t keep. Someone who can make decisions based purely on their own unchallenged judgment. This is the kind of leader who can truly save democracy, by completely bypassing the messy, unpredictable process of elections. And who should this leader be? Ideally, someone who has never held office, never campaigned, and certainly never been voted for. Perhaps someone like a random name drawn from a hat or a person chosen by a panel of experts who know better than the general public. This person could bring a fresh perspective, unburdened by the expectations and demands of a democratic electorate. In conclusion, to save democracy, we must radically rethink our approach. We must replace Joe Biden, our democratically elected leader, with someone completely outside the system. This bold, counterintuitive move will ensure that our democracy is protected from the dangers of its own success. After all, what better way to preserve the principles of democracy than by freeing it from the shackles of democratic processes? So, let’s embrace this paradox and take the necessary steps to safeguard our beloved democracy. Out with the elected, and in with the unelected – for the future of our democracy. 4o The post In order to save democracy we must replace the democratically-nominated candidate with someone no one voted for appeared first on Genesius Times.
