At least two people have died after a private jet attempted to make an emergency landing on a Florida interstate Friday afternoon and instead collided with a car and crashed. “A Bombardier Challenger 600 jet crashed on Highway I-75 near Naples‚ Florida‚ around 3:15 p.m. local time Friday‚ Feb. 9‚” the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) said in a statement. “Five people were on board.” “The FAA and the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) will investigate‚” the statement continued. “The NTSB will be in charge of the investigation and will provide any updates.” The Collier County Sheriff’s Office confirmed in a statement posted to social media that at least two people were killed in the crash. “The Federal Aviation Administration has closed a large section of Interstate 75 in Collier County to investigate the crash of an aircraft with two confirmed fatalities‚” the statement said. “Southbound traffic is closed at the 111 Mile Marker (Immokalee Road) and northbound traffic is closed at the 105 Mile Marker (Golden Gate Parkway). The closure is expected to last for an extended period of time.” The sheriff’s office urged people to find alternate routes and avoid the area. CNN reported that tracking data showed that the plane took off from Ohio State University Airport early Friday afternoon and was headed toward Naples Airport when it crashed. The report added that shortly before the plane crashed‚ a pilot radioed air traffic control to report that the plane had suffered a catastrophic event. Emergency‚” the pilot said. “Make an emergency landing.” The plane was close enough to the airport that an air traffic controller cleared the plane to land. “Cleared to land‚ but we’re not going make the runway‚” the pilot responded. Robin King‚ the director of communication with the Naples Airport Authority‚ said: “It was coming in for a landing. We received word that it had possibly lost an engine‚ we have not confirmed that. Daily Wire Editor Emeritus Ben Shapiro slammed President Joe Biden’s response to a special counsel report showing that he had memory issues during an appearance on the Megyn Kelly show on Friday where they also discussed his new docu-series‚ “The Divided States of Biden.” Kelly had Shapiro on to analyze the fallout from the release of a report from Special Counsel Robert Hur that concluded that while Biden “willfully retained and disclosed classified materials‚” no charges should be brought because of the president’s mental acuity. Biden responded to the release of the report by holding a press conference where he made repeated mental mistakes. Shapiro ripped into Biden over the press conference‚ pointing out how it only highlighted the president’s weaknesses. “I mean‚ it truly was the worst press conference I have ever seen by far. I’ve been watching these things for well over 20 years at this point‚ and obviously I’ve watched a lot of tape. That was horrendous‚” Shapiro said. During the conference‚ Biden mixed up the names of the leaders of Egypt and Mexico. “He makes the mistake of mixing up el-Sisi of Egypt with AMLO of Mexico‚ which‚ for the record‚ might explain why we have an open border. He’s asking the wrong guy to close the border‚” Shapiro quipped. White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre said on Friday that Special Counsel Robert Hur’s remarks about Biden’s mental fitness — mainly his serious memory issues — do “not live in reality.” Hur’s remarks were contained in a report on his criminal investigation into Biden’s handling of classified material‚ which said that Biden should not be charged in part because no jury would ever convict him because he was an elderly man with a “poor memory.” “If the special counsel says President Biden has significant limitations on memory‚ then who is helping him run the country?” a reporter asked Jean-Pierre during Friday’s press briefing. “The President of the United States runs the country‚” she responded. “The commander-in-chief runs the country.” “How can he be trusted with nuclear codes?” the reporter pressed. “I get that you are saying nobody in the building would say they have an issue with his memory‚ but just the little part of what we get to see‚ he has made mistake after mistake after mistake on camera this week.” Jean-Pierre responded‚ “I want to be very clear here. The reality is‚ that report‚ that part of the report does not live in reality. Days after three American soldiers were murdered by Iran‚ the Biden Administration has finally retaliated by firing missiles into Iraq and Syria where they made scary exploding noises so loud the Iranians could almost hear them all the way in Iran and‚ boy oh boy‚ wouldn’t they have been frightened then? State Department Spokesman John Kirby said the U.S. warned the Iranians that something really scary was going to happen in Iraq and Syria so that the Iranians would be so frightened‚ they’d have to stay in Iran where it was safe. Kirby said‚ “My hope was the Iranians would scream in terror‚ and we could laugh at them and say they sounded like women. You can bet they wouldn’t like that very much so it would be quite some time before they thought about murdering any more of our soldiers‚ believe you me.” Later‚ Kirby changed his story and said the State Department had not warned the Iranians before the attack and the fault lay with CBS News who had publicized the upcoming attacks after receiving a press release about them from the State Department. President and Venal Houseplant Joe Biden made a statement about the retaliatory attacks in a speech to several statues in the Capitol rotunda whom he mistook for other long-dead people he thought he’d been talking to recently. Biden said‚ “These meaningless attacks on places far from Iran are just the first of many meaningless attacks we plan to unleash on far away places. Like maybe Texas. I hate those people. The Iranians will just have to live in fear because they will never know where or when the next meaningless attack will fall on someplace far away until the very moment when we warn them about it to make sure they’re safely in Iran. As president‚ this is the most difficult decision I’ve ever had to make because it means people will die — all right‚ not die‚ but you know what I mean. They would die if one of these missiles hit them‚ although I don’t see how that could possibly happen so that made the decision somewhat easier. But don’t for a minute think that military action is our only planned response to Iran. We’re also letting them build nuclear weapons so we won’t be able to attack them anymore because they’ll have nuclear weapons and those things are really dangerous. Then when we don’t attack them they won’t be mad at us and will stop murdering our soldiers‚ so problem solved. Also we’ll make sure not to put any more sanctions on them so they can make a lot of money selling oil which only makes sense because nuclear weapons are expensive and if they can’t afford them‚ the whole plan falls apart. After that‚ we’re going to draw a line in the sand‚ probably in the desert in Syria somewhere near where we fired the missiles‚ to let them know we will not tolerate their killing any more Americans — unless they just want to cross our southern border and kill them here‚ then I don’t know how we could possibly stop them. All in all‚ I am telling you this is a great victory‚ just like in Afghanistan when we retreated in humiliating chaos and I then told you it was a great victory. I also love her. And her hair smells great. So she’s on the team‚ unless I’m still alive in November‚ then I gotta dump her cause no one can stand her‚ but that seems unlikely.
