President-elect Donald Trump urged hockey legend Wayne Gretzky to run for prime minister of Canada on Wednesday, saying that he would win easily without even campaigning.  Trump, who met with Gretzky on Christmas, said that the hockey player didn’t appear to have any interest in running, but that Canadians should start a campaign to convince him to run. Gretzky, who played 20 seasons in the NHL, won four Stanley Cups with the Edmonton Oilers and holds numerous professional hockey records.   “I just left Wayne Gretzky, ‘The Great One’ as he is known in Ice Hockey circles,” Trump posted on Truth Social. “I said, ‘Wayne, why don’t you run for Prime Minister of Canada, soon to be known as the Governor of Canada — You would win easily, you wouldn’t even have to campaign.’” “He had no interest, but I think the people of Canada should start a DRAFT WAYNE GRETZKY Movement.
