An illegal alien responsible for the death of a 24-year-old Colorado woman has been arrested.   Immigration and Customs Enforcement confirmed the arrest on Thursday of a 16-year-old from Colombia who was convicted of reckless driving resulting in death but was released back onto the streets of Colorado by the Arapahoe District Attorney’s Office.   ICE Denver bashed Colorado’s 18th Judicial District, led by District Attorney Amy Padden, on X, writing that “Justice” for the district “is no jail time and probation for this criminal alien who killed a young woman while driving more than 90 mph. A 16-year-old citizen of Colombia, with a conviction for reckless driving resulting in death…. https://t.co/jQvOKJ4S29— ICE Denver (@ERODenver) May 29, 2025 On July 8, 2024, Kaitlyn Weaver was driving home from work in Aurora, Colorado when the illegal teen immigrant crashed into her vehicle and killed her.   John Weaver, Kaitlyn Weaver’s father, told Fox News that his daughter, who worked at a drug rehabilitation center, “spent her life trying to help people.”  The migrant pleaded guilty and was given two years of probation and 100 hours of community service.   “I appreciate ICE taking enforcement action, and I really appreciate the outpouring of support from everyone,” John Weaver told Fox News Digital.   Arapahoe County is a sanctuary county within the sanctuary state of Colorado, meaning local and state leaders don’t require their law enforcement to fully cooperate with ICE. Failure to cooperate with ICE places agents, communities, and illegal aliens at a great risk of harm, according to ICE.   “Although no jurisdiction can refuse to honor a criminal arrest warrant, sanctuary jurisdictions regularly refuse to honor ICE immigration detainers—even when the alien is a convicted criminal,” ICE wrote on X Thursday evening.   “Refusing to honor ICE detainers puts the public and our law enforcement at greater risk,” ICE said in the post sharing two side by side photos—one showing a peaceful ICE arrest inside a jail, and another a street arrest with at least six agents and guns drawn.   ?Compare these photos of two ICE arrests.One shows us escorting an illegal alien from a jail after arresting him in a safe, controlled environment. The Department of Homeland Security has released a full list of every sanctuary state and county across the U.S.  “We are exposing these sanctuary politicians who harbor criminal illegal aliens and defy federal law,” DHS Secretary Kristi Noem said in a statement Thursday. “President [Donald] Trump and I will always put the safety of the American people first. The Supreme Court will allow the Trump administration to revoke temporary protected status for 500,000 illegal aliens living in the U.S.   In a 7-2 ruling on Friday, the justices lifted a lower court’s order that barred the Trump administration from deporting illegal aliens from Cuba, Haiti, Nicaragua and Venezuela who entered the U.S. under the Biden administration parole program.   The court’s decision comes in response to Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem’s efforts to end the Biden-era parole policy that allowed migrants from Cuba, Haiti, Nicaragua, and Venezuela to fly directly into the U.S. and be transported into the interior of the county.   The post SCOTUS Allows Trump Administration to Revoke Legal Status for 500K Illegal Aliens appeared first on The Daily Signal.
