A ‘biohazard’ situation forced a United Airlines flight bound for Boston from Houston’s George Bush Intercontinental Airport Sunday morning to divert to Washington DC. According to the New York Post, Flight 2477 had to undergo “a deep clean” upon landing due to a passenger becoming ill. The incident apparently was severe enough to cause crew members to become sick and prompt passengers to request masks. “I talked to the crew and it sounds like it’s quite bad back there. It’s still really bad,” a crew member was heard saying on audio from the flight. “The crew is vomiting, and passengers all around are asking for masks,” the crew member continued. “With this kind of being a biohazard I think we need to probably get this plane on the ground asap,” the crew member added. The passengers who fell sick onboard the Boeing 737 Max United Airlines flight were part of a larger group of about 75 people. It had taken off from Vancouver and landed at the Bush Intercontinental Airport in Houston where they met by emergency responders. At around 6:20 pm, the Houston Fire Department was called to assist at the scene. According to United Airlines there were 163 passengers and six crew members on the flight. The plane has since been pulled from rotation while it undergoes a deep cleaning to disinfect and decontaminate it. In total, three passengers were looked at but none required further medical attention. Officials from the fire department noted that the passengers exhibited symptoms linked to the cruise, complaining of nausea, and the airline confirmed the incident and said passengers from the cruise were ill and aboard the same flight.

Univision was granted exclusive access to a Thursday shindig at the Naval Observatory, wherein Vice President Harris feted leaders of Latino-interest organizations, in order to “highlight” their work and wrangle them for the upcoming general election. It's going to be the Latina, her children and her siblings. We are investing because we believe in her.  PITTI: 36.2 million Latinos are eligible to vote this year. A voting bloc that no presidential candidate should ignore.  Why should Latinos vote for Kamala Harris and not Donald Trump? EMHOFF: Look- there is, just…it’s a binary election. So intelligent, with so much power and she is a- she is the daughter of immigrants- who is-first generation like me, like so many here. HARRIS: And I intend to be President of the United States. PITTI: The road will not be easy. Harris knows there is a lot of work to do to win in key states. But if she wins, her husband, who could become the First Gentleman of the United States, tells us what he would do if his wife became the country's first female president. EMHOFF: First, just like as the first Second Gentleman, I’m her husband first. I love her, I support her, I’ve got her back always. And- you know, be a good husband. But two: is to support the administration. So as First Gentleman, it’ll be very similar. I’m gonna be a great husband, support her, and support the Harris presidency agenda. And I’ll continue, you know- I’m someone in this role as Second Gentleman, I fought against hate, bigotry…   PITTI: And after this event with Latino leaders from all over the country, before leaving, they told me that they leave with a very clear idea. And here in the United States, every 30 seconds there is a Latino who turns 18 years old. And, consequently, they will be able to vote in the next elections.
