Hey, Life is nuts and then you die. It’s an absolute beautiful day in the Black Hills. We’ve tried over and over to make a winter season start and once a week the frosty god tries. In a March 6-7 double-header of racing at Daytona International Speedway at Daytona Beach, Fla., defending Super Hooligan champion Rispoli won the opening round on Friday, and Lewis won on Saturday, each prevailing in classic Daytona last-lap drafting battles to win by fractions of a second. West finished second in both races. Also at Daytona, Harley-Davidson® x DynoJet Factory Race Team rider Kyle Wyman opened his title defense of the MotoAmerica Mission Foods King of the Baggers championship with a pair of third-place finishes on a race-prepared Harley-Davidson® Road Glide® motorcycle. At the Daytona Short Track, Latus Motors Racing rider Kody Kopp opened the season in historic fashion, riding a Harley-Davidson XG750R motorcycle to a pair of Mission Foods AFT SuperTwins victories to become the first rider to win their debut race in the premier flat track class. Saddlemen Sweeps Mission Super Hooligan Harley-Davidson Pan America 1250 ST motorcycle riders filled the podium in both rounds of the Mission Foods Super Hooligan opener. Rispoli topped qualifying with a best lap of 1:52.991 around the 3.56-mile, 12-turn Daytona International Speedway road course to take the pole for the Friday race that saw 35 bikes on the grid representing nine different motorcycle brands. Throughout the race seven or more bikes battled in a pack that saw multiple lead changes on each lap. On the final lap, Rispoli led through the infield section and onto the high-banked oval but backed off to let Ducati rider Gus Rodio take the lead out of the chicane and onto the final banked oval section. In the final drafting chase to the finish line, Rispoli held off Saddlemen Race Development teammates Cory West and Jake Lewis by a combined 0.020 seconds, with fourth place going to Saddlemen Race Development rider Travis Wyman on a modified Harley-Davidson FXR Big Twin motorcycle. Rodio finished fifth as only 0.314 seconds separated the top ten riders at the finish. “If you didn’t like that racing, I don’t know what you like,” said Rispoli. “I tried to burn them in the infield on that last lap, but I could hear noise behind me, and I knew if I had the lead out of the chicane I’d finish tenth. I’m super happy Saddlemen picked me up for the season. They’ve done an amazing job with the Harley-Davidson and made me feel at home.” On Saturday, West and Lewis each took a turn leading an official lap in another close-fought battle that included the Saddlemen Race Development squad, Yamaha riders Robertino Pietri and Andy DiBrino and Rodio. Once again Rispoli led the field through the infield on the final lap, but it was Pietri who led as the pack exited the chicane. At the finish Lewis prevailed in a tight pack of drafting riders, besting West by 0.012 seconds with Rispoli just 0.063 seconds behind in third place. “I tried to play my cards better today at the finish,” said Lewis. “I saw Cory come by me out of the chicane and he hit sixth gear, and I waited a little longer to hit sixth and came by him with some momentum. It feels so good to win a round at Daytona. Hats off to the Saddlemen crew for putting us one-two-three again. This Harley-Davidson is so good.” After two of 10 rounds in the 2026 Mission Foods Super Hooligan Championship, Lewis and Rispoli are tied with 41 points, followed by West with 40 points and Wyman with 23 points. Wyman, the defending series champion, qualified third for the event with a best lap of 1:50.342, just behind teammate Bradley Smith, who qualified second at 1:50.052. In the 8-lap race on Friday Hayden Gillim led every lap as Wyman and Troy Herfoss battled for second and third place, with Herfoss across the line 0.268 seconds clear of Wyman and Smith fourth. On Saturday, Gillim retired from the race on lap seven with a mechanical issue, handing the lead to Wyman. At the end of a drafting battle on the last lap, Herfoss took the win by 0.262 seconds over Factory Indian rider Rocco Landers with Wyman 0.280 seconds back in third place, and Smith in fourth place 0.333 behind. Big Diehl x Harley-Davidson Factory Racing James Rispoli finished fifth in both races. “Any time you can leave Daytona with two podiums is a good weekend, because it can go wrong here,” said Wyman. “I think we made a really good step from yesterday to today and I’m much happier with how I rode today than yesterday. I know we want to win but we got good points this weekend and I’m looking forward to the rest of the season on the factory Harley-Davidson.” After 2 of 14 rounds in the 2026 MotoAmerica Mission King of the Baggers series, Herfoss leads with 45 points, followed by Wyman and Gillim tied for second with 32 points, Smith with 26 points, and Rispoli with 22 points. Kopp, a three-time champion in the AFT Singles class, rode a Harley-Davidson XG750R motorcycle to victory at the Daytona Short Track on Thursday night, becoming the first rider ever to win their debut race in the premier class. Kopp made a clean sweep of the evening by topping qualifying, winning his heat race, the Mission #2Fast2Tasty Challenge bonus sprint, and the main event. On Friday night he backed up those results, going 5-1-1 in the Mission Triple Challenge to take the overall win and first-place points for the event. “I knew what I had to do, and I know what I’m capable of – that’s all I’ve got to say,” said Kopp,  the 21-year-old son of Joe Kopp, who raced a Harley-Davidson XR750 to win the 2000 Grand National Championship. “I work my butt off for this, and this is what I want to do for my life. THE BIKERNET MONK BRINGS YOU–Today Is the Day to Begin If not now, when? I am grateful for the gift of this day, and I choose to live it fully. How many times have we declared, “This is the day”? The day we begin something new, release something old, break a habit, form a discipline, step into a dream. We start with energy and conviction… and then life interrupts. A distraction appears. A delay feels justified. We quietly promise ourselves, “Tomorrow.” I know how easy it is to postpone change. I have said, “Today is the day I’m going to lose the extra weight,” more times than I can count. If I’ve said it once, I’ve said it a thousand times, and somehow I still find myself carrying around twenty pounds more than I truly want. That honest admission reminds me that intention alone is not transformation. Desire is not discipline. Wishing is not doing. Real change does not come from enthusiasm alone. It comes from character, the quiet strength to honor a decision long after the excitement fades. Making today the day requires commitment beyond mood. It asks us to act even when we don’t feel like it. It invites us to take one clear, simple step and protect it with intention. Start small. Write down one goal this morning. Just one. Make it specific. Make it achievable. Then guard it. Let nothing and no one, including your own doubts, pull you off course. Tomorrow, review what you wrote. Decide again. Continue. As each small promise is kept, confidence grows. Momentum builds. Before long, the life you once imagined begins to take form. A greater life does not arrive all at once. It unfolds through daily decisions. Today I know that this moment is powerful. I choose to live the gift of today fully. I commit to accomplishing at least one meaningful goal. I no longer allow excuses, fear, delay, or even old habits to rule my actions. I trust the Guidance within me. I draw upon the Strength and Supply of my Higher Power. Today I go within and awaken the character I have always known was there. With a joyful heart and steady mind, I allow this to be the day. I celebrate the greater possibilities that exist right now. And so it is. Namaste. “What you get by achieving your goals is not as important as what you become by achieving your goals.” Henry David Thoreau “What day is it?” “It’s today,” squeaked Piglet. “My favorite day,” said Pooh.” — A.A. Milne Contemplative Questions What is one specific action I can take today that moves me closer to the life I truly desire? Where in my life,  have I been relying on intention instead of consistent action? Who will I become if I consistently honor my word to myself, starting today? May be an image of text that says ‘Nothing gets transformed in your life until your mind is transformed. -Ifeanyi Enoch Onuoha’ Thanks–Yale Gelfant GATES BELT DRIVE– Announces Sponsorship of CFMOTO ASPAR Moto2 Race Team Gates Corporation (NYSE: GTES), a global manufacturer of innovative, highly engineered power transmission and fluid power solutions, today announced its official sponsorship of the CFMOTO ASPAR Moto2 Team competing in the Moto2 World Championship. A lot of us belong to Motorcycle Clubs, Associations, MRO’s (Motorcycle Rights Originations), Motorcycle Ministries and/or Independent Riders … All of these could be put in harm’s way due to SB536 and HB 429 because of common patches, terminology and tattoos that could easily be misrepresented and used against us. Read the full scoop at Dealernews.com HISTORY LESSON FROM COMPETITION DISTRIBUTING–Article from CyberMotorcycle.com Alfeo Rodolfi (1894-1972), former technician of the Military Arsenal, starting from 1919 had managed the Garage d’Azeglio in Viale Aldini where, the following year, the production of a chassis designed for a DKW engine, probably the first product of the Bolognese motorcycle industry, with the ABRA brand (Rodolfi Alfeo Patented Autobicycle). In 1923 the Viaggio, Signore e Sacerdoti, Sport models were on sale, equipped with DKW 118 cc; in 1924 a modified ABRA Sport had participated in some competitions. New 132 and 170 cc DKW engines, available since 1925, had made it possible to improve the motorized bicycle and to set up a light motorcycle. The creation of a cycle-car and the application of DKW engines to boats and a glider had distracted Rodolfi from competitive production, an important promotional factor at the time. In the 1920s he was not the only motorcycle dealer with DKW; moreover, the GD and MM Bolognese motorcycles, with their own engines, imposed themselves on the national scene both from a commercial and sporting point of view. –Competition Distributing STRIDER BIKES NAMED– the Official Balance Bike of Progressive American Flat Track Progressive American Flat Track, sanctioned by AMA Pro Racing, is proud to announce that Strider Bikes has been named the Official Balance Bike of the 2026 Progressive AFT Season. Trump Pick WITHDRAWS Nomination After RINO Senator Blocks His Confirmation

President Trump’s choice for Assistant Secretary of State for International Organization Affairs, Jeremy Carl, has just withdrawn his own nomination. This comes after one, lone Republican Senator — John Curtis — sunk his confirmation. Jeremy Carl is a conservative commentator and senior fellow at the Claremont Institute. He also served as Deputy Assistant Interior Secretary during President Trump’s first term. On Tuesday, he announced his unfortunate withdrawal in a lengthy statement on X. Read it here: This will be a bit more formal than usual, but I wanted to announce that I am withdrawing my nomination for consideration as Assistant Secretary of State for International Organization Affairs. I am tremendously grateful to President Trump for nominating me and then (upon expiration of my original nomination) renominating me for this role, and I am also grateful to Secretary Rubio and his team for their continued support throughout this long and time-consuming process. The fact that they chose to nominate me and were so supportive of my candidacy was one of many indications that this is an administration that was not satisfied to simply do business as usual nor to simply pick nominees from the same stable of “business as usual” possibilities. Unfortunately, for senior positions such as this one, the support of the President and Secretary of State is very important but not sufficient. We also needed the unanimous support of every GOP Senator on the Committee on Foreign Relations, given the unanimous opposition of Senate Democrats to my candidacy, and unfortunately, at this time this unanimous support was not forthcoming. Under our Constitutional system, that is the role that the Senate has in deciding Presidential appointments at this level and I accept that political reality, and do not wish to have the President, Secretary Rubio, or the rest of his team waste valuable time and energy attempting to change that decision. I remain extremely confident in President Trump, Secretary Rubio, and the rest of the outstanding team at State (a group of leaders that includes many close friends). I know they will continue to pursue a foreign policy that puts America first, and that they will work to ensure America is able to exercise its power and influence in the world like never before. Jeremy Carl was criticized after he defended his stance on mass immigration and Israel during his confirmation hearing last month. Watch this clip of Sen. Curtis questioning Jeremy Carl on Israel during the hearing: Sen. John Curtis grills Trump State Dept nominee Jeremy Carl on his criticisms of Israel: "You said the US spends too much time and energy on Israel—often to the detriment of our own national interests." John Curtis grills Trump State Dept nominee Jeremy Carl on his criticisms of Israel: “You said the US spends too much time and energy on Israel—often to the detriment of our own national interests.” (Curtis announced after this that he’s going to sink Carl’s nomination due to his “anti-Israel views” and past “insensitive remarks about the Jewish people.”) Afterwards, Sen. John Curtis said he would not vote to confirm Carl because he didn’t like his criticism of Israel. Fox News explained further: During his confirmation hearing last month, senators pressed Carl on previous remarks concerning “White identity,” immigration and Israel. Sen. John Curtis, R-Utah, said afterward that Carl was not the “right person to represent our nation’s best interests in international forums,” citing what he described as anti-Israel views and insensitive comments about Jewish people. Sen. Chris Murphy, D-Conn., questioned Carl about his references to “White identity” and what he believed was being “erased.” Carl responded that he was concerned about the erosion of what he described as a majority American culture due to mass immigration, saying he stood by those comments. Murphy later called him a “legit White nationalist” on social media. Carl rejected that characterization, saying he is “not a White nationalist” and that his remarks referred to a broadly shared American culture that people of all backgrounds could embrace. Because Republicans have a 12-10 majority on the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, one vote against Carl is enough to prevent his nomination from moving to the full Senate. Thanks to Sen. Curtis refusing to give him his vote, Carl had no other choice but to withdraw. Notably, Sen. Curtis is one of the few Republicans opposing the SAVE Act right now, as well. Senator John Curtis was the sole Republican voting against the confirmation of Jeremy Carl, and now he’s opposing voter ID laws, what is going on! — Kai Schwemmer (@KaiSchwemmer) February 26, 2026 What a backstabbing RINO. He needs to be voted out! What’s your analysis?

President Trump Addresses Potential Iranian Drone Strikes In California

President Trump addressed reports of Iran potentially launching drone strikes on California. As WLT Report previously covered, the FBI sent out warnings to dozens of police departments in California, warning that Iran may attempt to attack the West Coast with drones. In the bulletin, the FBI warned police departments in California to be vigilant of a potential retaliation attack from Iran in the form of military drones. President Trump addressed the FBI’s warning and said the threat is currently under investigation. Fox News provided Trump’s full comments: President Donald Trump said Wednesday that reports of a potential Iranian revenge plot involving drones launched from offshore targeting California are being investigated. Speaking to reporters in an Air Force One underwing gaggle, Trump was asked by Fox News White House correspondent Peter Doocy about a law-enforcement bulletin warning of a possible Iranian drone attack scenario. “It’s being investigated,” Trump said. “You have a lot of things happening, and all we can do is take them as they come.” Trump also said he had been briefed about potential Iranian sleeper cells inside the United States, claiming authorities are monitoring them closely. “We know where most of them are,” Trump said. “We’ve got our eyes on all of them.” The president argued some entered the country during the Biden administration’s immigration policies. Trump also said the U.S. military campaign against Iran is overwhelming Tehran’s forces. “Iran is being absolutely decimated,” he said.Trump added that Iranian naval and air capabilities have been largely destroyed and said the U.S. is monitoring the Strait of Hormuz as the conflict continues.“ We’ve knocked out all of their boats,” he said. “I think we’re in very good shape.” Watch Trump here: Fox News’ Peter Doocy: “What have you heard about this bulletin that some law enforcement put out about this possible Iran revenge plot in California where there will be some kind of boat offshore launching drones towards [the West Coast]?” President Trump: “It’s being… pic.twitter.com/dtAxVp5i6c — RedWave Press (@RedWavePress) March 11, 2026 Governor Gavin Newsom also addressed the FBI’s warning, per The New York Post: Gov. Gavin Newsom called reports of Iran potentially launching drone attacks on California a “critical” threat that state and federal authorities have been monitoring — while taking shots at President Trump over the ongoing war in the Middle East. “Drone issues have been top of mind,” Newsom said during a news conference Tuesday to announce new funding for mental health and drug treatment as it relates to homelessness. “We’ve been aware of that information, we’ve been working collaboratively with the [State Operations Center],” he added, referring to California’s emergency and disaster management agency. Newsom said he has yet to discuss the threats with President Trump and cast blame on the White House for starting a war without purpose that has sent gas prices surging across the globe. Gov. Gavin Newsom confirmed federal authorities issued a warning of a potential drone strike in California from Iranian offshore vessels and said state officials are collaborating with local law enforcement to protect residents. pic.twitter.com/kl2kD4Wfbj — SFGATE (@SFGate) March 11, 2026 What do you make of it?

President Trump Says He’s Been Briefed on Iranian Sleeper Cells: “We’ve Got Our Eye On All of Them”

President Trump just provided an update on Iranian sleeper cells in our nation. Responding to reporters after arriving at Joint Base Andrews in Maryland, President Trump said that he has been briefed on the issue. He said that most of these sleeper cells entered our country under Joe Biden, and that law enforcement has tracked down their locations. “We know where most are,” President Trump announced, “We’ve got our eye on all of them, I think.” Watch his remarks here for yourself: NOW – Trump says he's been briefed on Iranian sleeper cells inside the U.S.: "We know where most of them are, we've got our eye on all of them—I think." pic.twitter.com/DXeWGvIYtR — Disclose.tv (@disclosetv) March 12, 2026   Earlier in the day, President Trump confidently stated that he is not worried about the possibility of an Iranian terror attack in the United States. CNBC has more: President Donald Trump on Wednesday said he’s not worried about Iran executing a terror attack within the United States in retaliation for the ongoing war by the U.S. and Israel. “No, I don’t,” Trump told a reporter outside the White House when asked if he feared such a domestic attack. Trump also touted progress in the war against Iran, which is in its 11th day, before departing for a trip to Kentucky and Ohio. “Right now, they’ve lost their Navy, their Air Force. They have no anti-aircraft apparatus at all,” the president said. “Their leaders are gone, and we could do a lot worse.” Trump said the U.S. military is “leaving certain things” in Iran, which could be destroyed by the afternoon, if need be, and “they literally would never be able to build that country back.” Later in the day, Trump told reporters upon arrival at Joint Base Andrews in Maryland that the U.S. has located all Iranian “sleeper cells” — covert groups embedded in foreign countries that remain dormant until activated to carry out terror attacks. It’s great to hear that law enforcement is monitoring the situation and that President Trump does not believe Iran will carry out a terror attack on U.S. soil. It seems to me like President Trump is issuing a clear warning here: we’re coming for you. Yeah… They know where they all are. Not “I think.” He’s making them sweat

Bizarre: View Co-Host Whoopi Goldberg Claims Trump Started The Iran War To Distract From Nancy Guthrie’s Disappearance

This is a cold take. Even for Whoopi! During a recent airing of The View, Whoopi Goldberg claimed the Iran War is a distraction by the Trump administration to get the public to not focus on the disappearance of Nancy Guthrie. Fox News reported more on Goldberg’s comments: “The View” co-host Whoopi Goldberg claimed Tuesday that President Donald Trump’s actions in Iran were a method of distraction to keep public attention off the Jeffrey Epstein files and the disappearance of Nancy Guthrie. The co-hosts discussed the latest in the war with Iran, particularly the surge in oil prices and gas prices. “It’s nutty as hell,” Goldberg said. “And you’re right, every day it’s something new. And it’s, you know, I was thinking about it yesterday, because I thought, ‘Well, OK, why haven’t we been talking about Savannah Guthrie and what’s going on there? Why haven’t we — why have we not been talking about the Epstein files?’ Because that’s still there. “This is meant to get us so worked up that we are unable to see anything else.” The co-hosts seemed to agree, with Sunny Hostin adding, “It’s a very ‘wag the dog’ feeling.” Here’s the moment she said it: Whoopi Goldberg on The View suggests that Trump’s Iran war is “to distract” from Nancy Guthrie’s disappearance. Co-hosts nod. Audience claps. Who’s dumber: the Woke Reich or the Deranged left? pic.twitter.com/nacNDsPlvo — JeremyUnplugged (@JeremyUnplugged) March 12, 2026 Fox 10 provided the latest update on the investigation into the disappearance of Nancy Guthrie: Thursday marks Day 40 in the search for Nancy Guthrie, the 84-year-old mother of NBC “Today” show host Savannah Guthrie, who went missing from her Tucson-area home on Feb. 1. Authorities believe Nancy was taken from her home against her will. On Monday, the Pima County Sheriff’s Department said cadaver dogs were no longer being used in the search for Nancy Guthrie. “They are available if needed in the future,” Sheriff Chris Nanos told Fox News Digital. Over the weekend, PCSD told Fox News Digital that they were aware of a damaged utility box near her home. Last week, law enforcement reportedly went door-to-door in Nancy’s neighborhood. Savannah Guthrie returned to the “Today” show set for the first time since her mother disappeared. In a statement to Fox News Digital, a “Today” show spokesperson said Savannah plans on eventually returning to the show. “Savannah Guthrie stopped by the studio this morning to be with and thank her TODAY colleagues,” a “Today” show spokesperson told Fox News Digital. “While she plans to return to the show on air, she remains focused right now supporting her family and working to help bring Nancy home.” The Pima County Sheriff’s Department confirmed that DNA found on a glove just over two miles from Nancy’s home was traced back to a restaurant employee. The employee reportedly works near Nancy’s home but is unrelated to the case. Other gloves that have been found are still being tested at a private lab in Florida.

Numbers Are In: Here’s How Much The Iran War Has Cost The U.S. Military

The United States military, alongside Israeli forces, has completely destroyed Iran’s Navy and has taken out a majority of Iran’s leadership. President Trump, along with Secretary of War Pete Hegseth, has deemed Operation Epic Fury a success. The military operation, however, comes at a steep price. CBS News reported how much the war is costing just in the first week: The first week of the U.S.’ war with Iran cost around $11.3 billion, military officials told members of Congress in a briefing this week, according to sources familiar with the meeting. That figure is a low-end estimate and does not include the build-up costs of moving assets into place ahead of the operation’s start on Feb. 28. The war was preceded by a monthslong military buildup, with two U.S. aircraft carriers and their escort ships shifted to the Middle East. The estimate was first reported by The New York Times. Sen. Chris Coons, the top Democrat on the Senate subcommittee that handles defense appropriations, told reporters Wednesday he believed the $11.3 billion figure was “roughly accurate.” Coons also said: “I expect that the total operating number is significantly above that.” He said it would be a “fair guess” that the war’s daily cost is well over $1.5 billion, though it varies day-to-day depending on military operations. The cost of replacing the munitions that have been used in the war is probably “already well beyond $10 billion,” he said. According to the Pentagon, Trump’s operation in Iran cost $11.3 billion in its first six days, exceeding DOGE’s total savings ($9.4 billion codified by Congress) by roughly $2 billion. The number today, 12 days into the war, is certainly much higher. Follow: @AFpost pic.twitter.com/0aexqUkISN — AF Post (@AFpost) March 12, 2026 The high costs are not just financial. PBS reported 140 soldiers have been injured since the war began: The Pentagon said Tuesday that about 140 U.S. service members have been wounded in conflict with Iran. “The vast majority of these injuries have been minor, and 108 service members have already returned to duty,” Pentagon spokesman Sean Parnell said in an emailed statement. Eight are currently “severely injured,” Parnell added. These numbers are the first insight into the broader toll of injuries sustained by U.S. troops after a barrage of retaliatory rocket and drone strikes from Iran that also killed seven soldiers in Kuwait and Saudi Arabia. An estimate the Pentagon sent to Congress does not appear to include other war-related expenses besides munitions, according to a person who spoke to the Associated Press on condition of anonymity to discuss the private briefing. The tally is higher than previous estimates by outside analysts, and the daily amount is expected to fluctuate. The war is currently in its 11th day. The Trump administration has said it may seek supplemental war funds from Congress, but several lawmakers have insisted they would refuse to approve any more money for the Pentagon. The annual Defense bill sent some $838 billion to the Pentagon earlier this year and the Defense Department was provided $150 billion in extra funds last year as part of Trump’s big tax breaks bill that became law. Senator ‘dissatisfied and angry’ after classified briefing “I am left with more questions than answers, especially about the cost of the war,” Sen. Richard Blumenthal, D-Conn., told reporters after a classified briefing before the Senate Armed Services Committee. Are the costs worth it?
