Spider-Man: Brand New Day Trailer Teases Mysterious New Villain

News Spider-Man: Brand New Day Spider-Man: Brand New Day Trailer Teases Mysterious New Villain The fourth Spider-Man film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe is set to premiere in theaters in July By Vanessa Armstrong | Published on June 17, 2026 Screenshot: Sony Pictures Comment 0 Share New Share Screenshot: Sony Pictures The latest trailer for Spider-Man: Brand New Day sees Peter (Tom Holland) going through some changes (black eyes… you know what that means!), and having some anger issues since everyone he knows and loves has no memory of who he is. It’s a bummer! But we see him getting help from Frank Castle (Jon Bernthal) and Bruce Banner (Mark Ruffalo), and also saving MJ (Zendaya) even though she’s not quite sure who he is. There’s also an enemy who jumps from mind to mind that no one can see… except Peter. Here’s the official synopsis that spells everything out: It’s a BRAND NEW DAY for Peter Parker. Fighting crime full-time as Spider-Man in a world that doesn’t remember him—and the pressure of seeing his old friends move on without him—sparks a change in Peter he may not have the power to control. But that transformation might also be the only thing that can stop a shocking new threat to the city and those he loves – a powerful villain no one can even see. The world may have forgotten Peter Parker, but he hasn’t forgotten them. The movie comes from director Destin Daniel Cretton, who also worked on Wonder Man and Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings. The script comes from Chris McKenna & Erik Sommers and Justin Kuritzkes, and you can see it in theaters starting on July 31, 2026. When you’re deciding where to watch it, keep this fun fact in mind: The movie comes in two native aspect ratios to fit both flat screens and scope screens. What does your local theater have? I don’t know! But Marvel wants you to know that whatever shape your screen takes, the film will look fabulous. While we wait for July 31, check out the latest trailer below on your flat-screen phone and/or laptop. You can also check out this Spidey Tracker website, which lets you see where in NYC a few of the trailer’s clips are set, get a little more info on some of Brand New Day‘s major characters, and seemingly see where a few upcoming promotional events will occur.[end-mark] The post <i>Spider-Man: Brand New Day</i> Trailer Teases Mysterious New Villain appeared first on Reactor.

Trump Admin Cuts Right to the Heart of the Child Gender Mutilation Pipeline

The Federal Trade Commission and four attorneys general filed a groundbreaking lawsuit Wednesday aiming to hold the World Professional Association for Transgender Health accountable for allegedly deceptive trade practices, an action that may dismantle the child gender mutilation pipeline. WPATH may not be a household acronym, but this activist group masquerading as a health authority has hoodwinked the medical establishment into enabling one of the worst medical scandals of our time. As the lawsuit explains, WPATH claims that experimental transgender medical interventions such as “puberty blockers,” cross-sex hormones, and surgeries—which all attempt to make boys appear to be girls or vice versa—are “medically necessary” to prevent suicide. WPATH allegedly hides the fact that there is no evidence to back up the claim that girls or boys who express discomfort with their sex characteristics will commit suicide without such interventions. (A Health and Human Services peer-reviewed study concluded that there was “extremely weak evidence” for any benefit from these interventions.) WPATH also allegedly falsely claims that its “standards of care” represent scientifically-based expert consensus. Finally, it allegedly hides the fact that these interventions cause serious side effects. These deceptive practices promote the sex-rejecting procedures euphemistically described as “gender-affirming care,” causing great harm, according to the lawsuit. WPATH presents itself as the expert, and medical authorities, insurance companies, and parents have cited it as such. WPATH’s influence has created a booming medical industry. The lawsuit notes that the first U.S. pediatric medical transition clinic opened in 2007, and by 2015, the number of such clinics grew to 41. Between 2017 and 2021, the number of children diagnosed with gender dysphoria (the painful and persistent identifying with the gender opposite one’s biological sex) nearly tripled, from 15,000 to 42,000. Notably, WPATH’s latest “Standards of Care” edition, published in 2022, removed age limitations for controversial procedures including breast amputation and penis removal. The lawsuit quotes one WPATH leader who admitted to “struggl[ing] to find any sound evidence-based argument(s) underpinning” the change. The lawsuit cites numerous side effects from the transgender interventions WPATH supports. The side effects of “puberty blockers”—drugs that law enforcement uses to chemically castrate sex offenders—include hot flashes, lethargy, and cognitive problems. The side effects of cross-sex hormones include mood disturbances, vocal pain, pelvic pain, clitoral discomfort, vaginal pain, and erectile pain. The side effects of breast amputations, often euphemistically described as “top surgery,” include the inability to breastfeed, nerve damage, and necrosis of the nipples. “Children, but especially their parents, must have complete and truthful information when making decisions to purchase medical services,” FTC Chairman Andrew N. Ferguson said in a statement on the lawsuit. “For decades, the FTC has taken action against entities that make deceptive and unsubstantiated health-related claims. The complaint filed today reflects that same long-standing mandate: when an entity makes a claim about a medical treatment, the claim must be truthful, evidence-based and not misleading.” In the lawsuit, the FTC—joined by Attorneys General Cori Mills (Alaska), Brenna Bird (Iowa), Michael Hilgers (Nebraska), and Ken Paxton (Texas)—alleges three major violations of the Federal Trade Commission Act of 1914. Plaintiffs claim WPATH violated the act by engaging in deceptive claims regarding the efficacy of pediatric medical transition, by misrepresenting the nature of the “Standards of Care,” and by failing to disclose side effects. The lawsuit also claims these deceptive practices violated consumer protection laws in each of the four states. For its part, WPATH claimed that the Trump administration “abused” its authority by aiming to “interfere with Americans’ rights to seek and obtain the healthcare that should be decided between a patient and their physician.” WPATH noted the Federal Trade Commission’s previous request for information, which a federal judge struck down. The pro-transgender group panned the lawsuit as an “end-around,” describing it as “baseless.” WPATH further claimed that the Federal Trade Commission is not a medical provider and “has no place interfering” with medical decision-making. James Boasberg, chief judge for the U.S. District Court of the District of Columbia, blocked the Federal Trade Commission from requiring WPATH to hand over documents, ruling that the commission’s order involved retaliation for WPATH’s speech, protected by the First Amendment. This order does not apply to the new lawsuit, filed in the U.S. District Court of the Northern District of Texas. Contrary to WPATH’s claims, the lawsuit does not aim to interfere with patients’ right to health care, but with WPATH’s own alleged misrepresentations in advocating for sex-rejecting procedures on minors. If WPATH does not want to face accusations about systemically deceiving Americans about transgender “medicine,” perhaps it should reconsider systematically deceiving Americans about transgender “medicine.”

Bonded Cats Abandoned Outside Shelter with Handwritten Note Have Already Decided How Their Story Goes

Two bonded sister cats were left outside a rescue shelter one evening in separate carriers with a handwritten note. These precious cats have already decided how their story goes. SugarCredit: Homeward Bound Cat AdoptionsWhen the team at Homeward Bound Cat Adoptions, based in Las Vegas, Nevada, discovered the two carriers sitting on a bench outside their door late that Tuesday evening, the moment stopped them in their tracks. Two cats, sitting quietly outside a closed shelter door, with no way of understanding what had happened to their world. "Our team found them, and honestly there were tears," the team of Homeward Bound Cat Adoptions shared with LoveMeow. "Not because we're angry. Not because we don't care. Because we do care. Every single time."The shelter was already overflowing. Space was not something they had to spare. None of that changed what happened next. The cats were brought inside, given food and water, and settled into the care of a team that had already decided, before they even knew their names, that these two would be all right. Credit: Homeward Bound Cat AdoptionsThe note left on top of one of the carriers was brief and full of feeling. The person who wrote it explained they could no longer provide care, that the cats had been with them since kittenhood, that they were sweet and scared, and that they were sorry. The apology appeared twice. Whatever circumstances had led to that bench on that Tuesday evening, the love behind the note was not hard to read.Homeward Bound Cat Adoptions read it the same way. "Yet somehow, we will make room," the rescue said. "We always try." Credit: Homeward Bound Cat AdoptionsThe sisters were named Sugar and Spice, names that the team felt suited them right away, though perhaps not in the way anyone expected. Sugar is the long-haired female calico, soft and fluffy with green eyes and a spirited streak her name does not quite prepare you for. Spice is the tuxedo, black and white with round golden eyes, quieter and more measured, the kind of cat who watches carefully before she decides anything. Both had been spayed before they arrived, a small but meaningful detail about the care they had once received. Neither had a microchip. SugarCredit: Homeward Bound Cat AdoptionsWhen Sugar and Spice first settled into the shelter, neither was at ease. Both cats moved cautiously through their new surroundings, startling at unfamiliar sounds and retreating when unsure. The adjustment was real and visible. But even in those first uncertain hours, both cats responded to calm voices and patient hands. There was a willingness there, underneath the fear, and the team noticed it right away. Temptation treats helped move things along considerably. SpiceCredit: Homeward Bound Cat AdoptionsThe shelter posted their story, and the response caught everyone off guard. Messages poured in from people who had seen the photo of the two carriers sitting on the bench and felt something shift in them. Sugar and Spice became, briefly, two of the most talked about cats on the internet, their story shared by people who had never met them and found themselves rooting for them anyway."Sugar and Spice deserve a bright future," the shelter team shared with LoveMeow. They were grateful for every share, and clear about what they hoped it would lead to. Credit: Homeward Bound Cat AdoptionsThe two are being considered a bonded pair for now, given how closely their lives have been intertwined. They find comfort in each other's company, respond well to gentle handling, and have shown more of their personalities with every passing day. Sugar leans into attention when it comes. Spice watches, considers, and then quietly decides she might like some, too. Both cats received a proper glamour photo shoot in the days after their arrival, an occasion they handled with considerably more composure than their first night might have suggested. They looked, in those photos, like exactly what they are: two beautiful cats with good years ahead of them and a shelter full of people determined to see them through. SpiceCredit: Homeward Bound Cat AdoptionsThe bench outside Homeward Bound Cat Adoptions has seen a lot. But the two carriers that sat there on a Tuesday evening left a mark the team will not soon forget. Sugar and Spice are still waiting. And the people who found them are not going anywhere until that changes.Share this story with your friends. View more on Sugar, Spice, and Homeward Bound Cat Adoptions on Instagram and Facebook. MS NOW's Menendez Claims Obama Library is a Tribute To The Country

With the Obama Presidential Library opening on Thursday, the cast of characters that make up MS NOW has been provided an excuse to return to fangirling over their favorite president. On Wednesday’s On the Line, it was host Alicia Menendez’s turn as she claimed the library would not just be a tribute to Obama, but to the whole country. Menendez’s gushing review also fit in nicely with how the media historically reports on Democratic presidential libraries. Menendez began the segment by claiming, “Tomorrow is the grand opening of the Obama presidential center here in Chicago, not just a tribute to the nation's first black president, but the country he represented and the city that first gave him a shot as a young political upstart.”   MS NOW's Alicia Menendez says the new Obama library isn't just a tribute to Obama, but to the country, "Tomorrow is the grand opening of the Obama presidential center here in Chicago, not just a tribute to the nation's first black president, but the country he represented and the… pic.twitter.com/QG1NepHjlV — Alex Christy (@alexchristy17) June 17, 2026   As it hard as it may be for media people to understand, the Obamas are not as universally beloved among Americans as they are among journalists. Nevertheless, Menendez then hyped the facility itself, “And this is no typical presidential library. The sprawling campus is meant to function as a community hub. There is a basketball court, a recording studio, a teaching kitchen, and fruit and vegetable garden, a beehive that functions as part of a sustainable ecosystem, a children's playground, and, of course, the presidential reading room, part of a new Chicago Public Library branch with roughly 3,500 book titles handpicked by the Obamas.” Menendez then transitioned into a preview of Michele Norris’s Friday special with the not-at-all subtle title of Hope Comes Home: Inside the Obama Presidential Center. The last time a Democratic presidential library opened was November 2004, and it was hard to differentiate Menendez’s Obama fandom with former ABC anchor Peter Jennings’s Bill Clinton fandom. Jennings described Clinton’s library as “appropriately dramatic for a man whose presidency was dramatic and divisive and full of accomplishment” who is “hugely popular in other parts of the world.” CNN’s Judy Woodruff claimed Clinton is "the quintessential American, super-sized” and summed up his career as “Dreaming big, flying sometimes too close to the sun, falling hard and coming back strong… Brilliant and captivating. Sometimes foolish and weak. Forever a promise not quite fulfilled. A legacy still to be determined.” Looking ahead to the 2008 presidential race, NBC’s Katie Couric worried to Sen. Hillary Clinton, “Is it disappointing for both you and your husband that his detractors and critics continue to pursue him?” By contrast, when the George W. Bush Library opened in 2013, Jonathan Karl quipped, “The Bush legacy – history is, at least the early indication, not gonna be too kind to President Bush.” NBC Meet the Press anchor David Gregory claimed Bush had a “reputation for incompetence” that “stained the administration and the GOP brand.”  ABC’s Dianne Sawyer used the occasion to pester Bush if he was ready to flip-flop on same-sex marriage. Bush declined the offer. Odds are that when it comes time to open up the Trump Library, he will get the George W. Bush treatment from the media, not the Clinton or Obama treatment. Here is a transcript for the June 17 show: MS NOW On the Line with Alicia Menendez 6/17/2026 1:50 PM ET ALICIA MENENDEZ: Tomorrow is the grand opening of the Obama presidential center here in Chicago, not just a tribute to the nation's first black president, but the country he represented and the city that first gave him a shot as a young political upstart.  And this is no typical presidential library. 38% of Democrats ‘Ashamed’ to Be Americans

Democrats are far more likely to say they’re “ashamed” to be Americans than are other U.S. adult citizens, results of a new national survey by The Economist/YouGov reveal. With the nation’s 250th anniversary less than a month away, the survey conducted June 13-15 polled Americans’ views on their country. When asked to rate how “proud” they were to be an American, 60% of U.S. adult citizens said they were either “very proud” (42%) or “somewhat proud” (18%). While 20% of all adults said they were either somewhat (12%) or very (8%) “ashamed,” nearly twice as many Democrat citizens (38%) said they were ashamed, including 12% who reported that they were “very ashamed.” Only 40% of Democrats said they were at least somewhat proud to be Americans. Another 22% of Democrats said they were “neither” proud nor ashamed to be Americans, on par with the 20% of all U.S. adults who voiced no opinion, one way or the other. Democrats were also much less likely to think that America has been “a force for good in the world.” Fully 61% of all U.S. adults answered either “yes” (25%) or “mostly yes” (36%) when asked if America has been a force for good, but only 10% of Democrats fully agreed, while 35% said they mostly agreed. In a separate question, nearly half (45%) of Democrats said American compared poorly to the world’s other countries, including 25% who called it “worse than average,” 14% who labeled it “among the worst” and 6% who declared their home country “the worst” in the world. In all, 54% of U.S. citizens said America was either the greatest country in the world (21%), among the greatest (20%), or better than the average country (13%). Democrats were also found to be more critical of their country in an America 250 national survey of U.S. adults conducted between April 30 and May 3, 2026 by Elon University/YouGov. Fully 68% of U.S. adults agreed that “I am proud to be an American,” including half (48%) who said it’s “very true” that they were a proud American. Slightly less than half (48%) of Democrats agreed. And, when asked if there was “any other country on Earth you would rather live in than the United States today,” 55% of Democrat adults said “Yes.” Among all U.S. adults, about two-thirds (65%) said there’s no place else they’d rather be.

Activists MELT DOWN over burning cross found in park — Asian man claiming he did it says it was an anti-Trump protest

Many on the left were disturbed by the appearance of a burning cross at a park in Chicago, but the man who claims he put it up says he is not racist and was protesting President Donald Trump.Police released video of a man they called a person of interest after someone set up the cross and lit it on fire on June 10 at Grant Park in downtown Chicago.'I don't wanna wait until he may or may not get impeached. I want him gone right now.'Community members immediately blamed racism and hatred, and one even mentioned "the South.""I was horrified; I was angry!" said Rev. Michael Pfleger of the Faith Community of Saint Sabina in an interview with WGN-TV."This is a decades-old symbol of hate and supremacy and the Ku Klux Klan. This is their symbol," he added."This is something that's been used in the South to harm and scare black Americans, so it was very distasteful," said Keinika Carlton, who saw the cross burning and captured it on video."There's no way to explain this nicely, except it's hate!" Pfleger added in another interview with WBBM-TV."A burning cross is not a prank. It is not a misunderstanding. It is one of the most recognizable symbols of racial terror in American history," said attorney Benjamin Crump, known for representing many race-related cases. "Hate cannot be normalized, excused, or ignored. Those responsible must be identified and held accountable," Crump continued."This isn't random vandalism. It's a direct message of hate meant to intimidate Black people in the middle of downtown Chicago. How many more times will racists use this symbol of terror in public before it's treated like the hate crime it is?" an anti-racism account said on social media. The Federal Bureau of Investigation said it was also investigating the incident.A few days later, a 21-year-old Asian man claimed to have set up the cross and said he didn't even know it was a symbol of racism."I did know about this historical relevance beforehand, but I didn't know the severity, how racially motivated it may seem from what I did," University of Illinois Chicago senior Merlin Lu said to WMAQ-TV.Lu said the cross was intended as a protest against Trump's alleged Christian-nationalist supporters and the "Make America Great Again" movement and that he had put a red hat on top of the cross to try to get this message across."I put a red hat to signify the MAGA hat, the Make America Great Again hat," he added. "So that was, yeah, that's what I tied on top.""I don't want to wait till his term ends," Lu said of the president. "I don't wanna wait until he may or may not get impeached. I want him gone right now."RELATED: Activists rage over racist vandalism at a Sacramento high school. The district says a black student was caught on camera committing the hoax. Lu was asked how he came up with the idea for the burning-cross protest."Just it came up to my head one day," he said. "I wanted to find something that I could do by myself, like no organization, no friends."WMAQ said Lu is a native of Naperville."He's just scamming people," Lu added about Trump. "I think that's a great reflection of how this country works right now, where money controls everything. Money has power over health care. Money has power over transportation," he continued.Lu said he was thinking of surrendering to the police, and WMAQ reported in an update that the police confirmed the arrest of a person of interest.Like Blaze News? Hillary Clinton calls out Biden's 'terrible' re-election 'mistake' in new interview

During an interview on Monday, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton said that she thought former President Joe Biden’s decision to run for re-election was “a terrible miscalculation.”The interview with New Yorker editor David Remnick covered a range of topics, including the war in Iran, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, the Trump administration, and the 2024 presidential election. 'He made a terrible mistake for himself, his legacy, and for the country.'The Democratic National Committee recently released an autopsy report on the 2024 election, which Remnick criticized for not mentioning Biden’s decision to run. Asking Clinton if Biden made a mistake by launching another candidacy, she responded, “He made a terrible mistake for himself, his legacy, and for the country.”Clinton went on to say that if Biden had stuck to serving a single term, Democrats “would have had a real contest.” “I believe whoever emerged from that contest, whether it was the vice president or a governor or a senator or anybody else, would've beaten Donald Trump.”Despite Biden’s old age and alleged cognitive decline, Clinton claimed that before the CNN presidential debate between Biden and Trump, there was still a strong belief inside the White House that he would emerge victorious in the election. Those who attempted to convince Biden otherwise “were met with total denial” from Biden and those around him, Clinton detailed. That denial continued even after the debate, Clinton said, with many still believing Biden's performance to be “recoverable” regardless of the renewed push for Biden to suspend his campaign.RELATED: VIDEO: Joe Biden interrupts Jill Biden's book event with agonizingly awkward interaction Clinton’s account comes only a few weeks after a CBS interview in which former first lady Jill Biden revealed that she thought her husband was experiencing a stroke while on the debate stage.“I don't know what happened," she said. “As I watched it, I thought, 'Oh, my God, he's having a stroke.' And it scared me to death.”Biden ultimately dropped his bid for president in July 2024 and immediately backed then-Vice President Kamala Harris. Harris would go on to lose to Trump in the November general election, receiving 226 electoral votes to Trump’s 312."There was no way to convince [Biden]" to step aside "by going public," Clinton said. "And eventually what convinced him was, you know, polling."Like Blaze News? Bypass the censors, sign up for our newsletters, and get stories like this direct to your inbox. Sign up here!
