All Glocks Discontinued? It’s True… Except For A Few (Video)

It’s true, for the most part.  Glock is discontinuing the vast majority of their handguns due to modifications the company is making to prevent easy snap-in, after market products that allow for rapid firing of the weapon. Don’t worry, new models are coming in, but the value on your old Glocks will definitely be increasing …

Brooks & Dunn Issue Statement About AI Slop: “There Is An Epidemic Of Misinformation”

Brooks and Dunn are doing their best to get out in front of the misinformation age of artificial intelligence. AI is running rampant on social media right now. Either you are fully aware of that (since you are trying to keep your parents from falling for it) or you are the one that’s being fooled. Some people can’t discern between the real and the fake online, and now with the introduction of the misinformation supplement known as AI, you really have to be on your toes. It’s even gotten to the point where artists and celebrities feel somewhat responsible when fans get duped by fake, AI-generated stories and scams. Even though artists like Kix Brooks and Ronnie Dunn have nothing to do with it, they become frustrated that more and more artificial intelligence slop hits the internet, with minimal to no policing. So it’s become rather common for high-profile individuals to put out statements like Brooks and Dunn did earlier this week. They took to social media to condemn AI and misinformation, and reminded their fans and followers that they should not believe anything they see about the “Neon Moon” singers unless it comes straight from them. And to be honest, I love how much they ripped into the modern times of artificial intelligence running amuck: “The internet’s gotten pretty wild lately. Seems like ‘AI’ can make anybody say or do just about anything these days. We’ve seen fake tour announcements, fake albums, fake hospital stories, even fake movies and documentaries. There is an epidemic of misinformation being distributed to countless sites across the internet. We’re working non-stop to eliminate the problem, but the sheer volume is overwhelming. Unfortunately, we can’t control it all. Welcome to the era of ungoverned, AI-generated falsehoods. If you see something with our name or face on it that didn’t come straight from our verified official accounts, don’t fall for it. For now, good old common sense seems to be the most effective weapon against the crazies and the ‘machine.’” View this post on Instagram A post shared by Brooks & Dunn (@brooksanddunn) They are exactly right in saying that the “beast is outta the cage.” I can’t tell you how many fabricated AI stories I’ve come across on the internet. Social media accounts are pumping out “AI slop” stories about country music artists being in the hospital or refusing to play shows, and people are falling for it. Some have even been scammed by artificial intelligence. One person was almost positive that he was talking to Jelly Roll when he received a video where the rapper-turned-country-artist said the man’s name. But it was just an AI-powered scam, and like Brooks and Dunn said, it’s all pretty much ungoverned right now. My advice to you (more importantly to the older people in your life) is to ask yourself a couple of questions when you see something online, or get a message that seems too good to be true. If it feels like there is something off, chances are your instincts are serving you right. Shout out to the legendary country music duo for doing their best to help fight AI.The post Brooks & Dunn Issue Statement About AI Slop: “There Is An Epidemic Of Misinformation” first appeared on Whiskey Riff.

KT Smith Details The Hard Times When She Says Morgan Wallen Was Unfaithful: “Girls Throwing Themselves At You… I Didn’t Blame Him”

Spilling about her side of the breakup. Back in March, influencer KT Smith was a guest on an episode of Bunnie XO’s Dumb Blonde podcast. KT shares a 5-year old son, Indigo, with Morgan Wallen, and the two were previously engaged during an on-again, off-again relationship between 2016 and 2019. Since this aired, KT and her current husband (soon to be ex-husband) Luke Scornavacco broke up and got back together, and during this particular episode, KT talked a lot about what led to their split and even said Luke’s career as an influencer gave her “the ick.” They actually stayed together for a little while after that, but earlier this month, Luke announced that the pair was officially getting divorced. Shocker… But also during that episode, KT opened up about her relationship with Morgan, which happened mostly before his skyrocket to stardom. KT said Morgan is a great dad, but she also discussed details from their relationship and prior engagement. And she also talked about her side of why it all came to an end… Back in 2017, Morgan got asked to tour with Florida Georgia Line, and KT joined him on the trek. Around the 40-minute mark of the episode, she explains that Morgan was “not the most faithful,” which led to her getting rid of her engagement ring. She says she was riding the van with all of the band guys, and during a show at a hole in the wall bar, she caught Morgan with another girl. She says he was very upset, though even though it happened multiple times, she never blamed him for it because she doesn’t know what it’s like to be thrust into the kind of position he was in terms of money, fame and having girls throw themselves at him all the time: “The engagement did not last long. We stayed together, but he wasn’t the most faithful. And so I threw the engagement ring, but stayed with him. I didn’t find out a lot of it until a lot later. But this time, I just walked out of the van, the tiny little van we were in… and so it was actually before a long drive that I walked out and saw him with another girl in the parking lot. This wasn’t even the tour yet, this was one of his private shows at one of the little hole in the wall bars. And I mean, he was just crying, sobbing, snotty, all of this stuff in front of his band. No, it was just in the parking lot, a whole crowd of people. I always still say, about the whole I can’t speak on a season I haven’t been through. Throughout all of the cheating and stuff, I’m going to say, I didn’t blame him for it. Because I don’t know how it would be to come into that much fame overnight, and just be huge and have all this success, and all these girls throwing themselves at you. I don’t know how that is, so I didn’t blame him for it.” She says she put up with a lot because she was so in love and thought Morgan “hung the moon and the stars’: “It happened lots more times than that. People always say ‘Oh, she cheated on him too. She wrote it in a blog.’ I’m like, show me the blog. I never cheated on him. I literally thought he hung the moon and the stars. I probably put him on such a pedestal above so many other things shouldn’t have at the time. I was very much in love with him.” KT admitted that she would always get messages from girls about what Morgan was doing, and he told her not to respond to because it wasn’t a good look for either of them, but eventually, KT asked another wife who was married to someone in Morgan’s similar position, and she advised KT to ask for proof. She did, and a girl sent all the texts and communications. KT recalled him crying once again, and she felt stuck because they were living together and other people were encouraging her to stay with him because he’d eventually get out of this phase, so to speak. She admits that he’s “grown tremendously” since then, and is a “great dad” and lives a great life. She says she has a ton of respect for him, and they co-parent really well together, which is really the most important thing when it comes to their young son: ‘He’s grown as a person.. I respect him more now than I ever have. His life is extremely private, but what people don’t see is that he has grown tremendously. I respect him so much as a person, he’s a great dad, and he lives a great life that’s private. And he can still do  what he does and while keeping it private, and I think that’s great. I love that he’s had that radical change, and it wasn’t with me, but thats okay. He’s a good dad, and we can co-parent well.” It’s great that they have been able to work things out for their son in terms of being able to communicate and make the best decisions on his behalf, and even though it didn’t work out for them romantically in the end, it sounds like there’s still a lot of respect and admiration there, even after all they’ve been through. Part of the podcast is available to watch below, and the full audio episode can be found on all streaming services. Kenny Chesney Officially Announces 2026 Las Vegas Sphere Residency

Officially running it back. Back in May, Kenny Chesney made history as the first country artist in history to perform at Sphere, the $2.3 billion venue and technical marvel, in Las Vegas. Joining the likes of Eagles, Dead and Company, U2, Backstreet Boys, No Doubt, Anyma and film director, Darren Aronofsky, as the select few to headline the venue, the “Summertime” singer performed 15 sold-out shows throughout his first residency this year. Of course, this led to a visual experience quite unlike anything you’ve ever seen, and Chesney took full advantage of it. Creating some mind-blowing visuals, he and his team left absolutely nothing off the table, leaning heavily into his patented beach aesthetic and even incorporating his love of football into the mix with shots from Neyland Stadium, home of the Tennessee Volunteers. Undoubtedly, Chesney’s first residency at Sphere was nothing short of a success, and he made it known that he’d be back sooner than later, telling fans he’d see them next summer. “I got a little carried away. But after all the guests, all the songs we hadn’t planned on, all the people who came from all over, I just didn’t want to keep it a secret. I knew we were coming back, and if No Shoes Nation had half as much fun as we did, I wanted them to know we’d see them right here next summer. What could be better?” Taking to Instagram last Friday, the Country Music Hall of Famer added more fuel to the fire and posted a video of the Sphere sporting his No Shoes Nation logo across the outside of the venue before transitioning to a graphic of Chesney’s silhouette with #Summertime2026 across it. The caption would tell fans to prepare themselves, reading: “#IGoBack2026 … It’s time to get ready, No Shoes Nation.” And just two days after being officially inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame alongside June Carter Cash and Tony Brown, Chesney has officially announced he’s headed back to the Sphere next summer in his second residency titled, I Go Back 2026, with five shows beginning on Friday, June 19, and wrapping up on Saturday, June 27. View this post on Instagram A post shared by Kenny Chesney (@kennychesney) Reflecting on his time at Sphere last year, Chesney gushed about the magic present at the venue. He’d also note how he and his team are currently working on updating visuals for songs present on last year’s set while simultaneously adding a few new ones that “deserved this 4-d treatment.” “It’s finally time to make it a REALITY. My first summer at Sphere was so special. Watching you guys experience the magic gave me so many ideas — reworking some songs from last year and adding a few that deserved this 4-D treatment. There are a lot of ways to play this venue, but I’m pretty sure nobody’s had more fun or brought more joy than No Shoes Nation. If you missed it, come on! And if you were there, come live it again — because this isn’t something you get to do every year.” All presales start this Friday, October 24, with premium members of Chesney’s fan club, No Shoes Nation, receiving access first at 10 a.m. PT. General on sale for the public will begin next Friday, October 31st, at 10 a.m. PT. Additionally, VIP Hotel & Ticket packages, presented by Vibee, are on sale now, featuring a two-night stay at The Venetian Resort Las Vegas and/or Virgin Hotels Las Vegas, depending on the package. I Go Back 2026 Dates Friday, June 19 Saturday, June 20 Wednesday, June 24 Friday, June 26 Saturday, June 27The post Kenny Chesney Officially Announces 2026 Las Vegas Sphere Residency first appeared on Whiskey Riff.

Willie Nelson Hilariously Puts The IRS On His “Bitin’ List”

Honestly, SO fair. Of course, I’m sure many of you are familiar with the “Bitin’ List” trend on social media, which was of course inspired by Tyler Childers’ song from his recent Snipe Hunter album. He sings about who he would bite if he ever got rabies, and it’s inspired many others to make videos with the audio sharing things or people that annoy them. But I think Willie Nelson just beat everyone… He, or someone from his team more likely, shared a photo on Instagram earlier of his album cover from his The IRS Tapes: Who’ll Buy My Memories? record, which was created to raise money so he could pay off all the money he owed to the IRS. Of course, he was involved in a huge lawsuit with the federal government in the 90’s that stemmed from tax issues, and so obviously, the IRS is at the very top of Willie’s “Bitin’ List”: “Bitin’ List 1990’s Edition: THE IRS.” There is no other option… I think the IRS on anyone’s “Bitin’ List” is timeless, actually… View this post on Instagram A post shared by Willie Nelson (@willienelsonofficial) And if you’re unfamiliar with this whole story, it’s pretty wild. Back in August of 1990, the IRS showed up at Willie’s door, and federal agents actually seized Willie’s property in six different states, including his houses and land, his master tapes, his recording and touring equipment, his gold records, and even his clothes. They claimed that the country legend owed $16.7 million in unpaid tax bills to Uncle Sam, and while they tried to auction most of it away in order to recoup part of the money he owed, many of his loyal fans and fellow Texans stepped in to buy it all back for him. You should definitely go read about that remarkable story HERE. And in his 2015 memoir It’s a Long Story: My Life, Willie detailed some of what happened from his perspective. He cleared up rumors that his band ever disbanded, saying they were willing to work for less money during that time and they never broke up… quite the opposite, in fact. And while obviously when you’re in trouble with the IRS, that typically spells major trouble, Willie handled it a whole let better than most would: “I’m not saying I wasn’t in a serious financial stew. I sure as sh*t was. But I had my health and my fighting spirit.” Willie added that he “never” thought of declaring bankruptcy, and he went along with the plan created by his manager Mark Rothbaum, which was supported by his attorney’s Joel Katz and Jay Goldberg, as well as tax expert Larry Goldfein, to fight the IRS. And that’s quite a battle, indeed… not something most people would want to do, but hey, it’s Willie Nelson we’re talking about. Willie Fights The IRS He recalled showing up to the IRS offices in Austin, Texas on the first day of questioning, expecting some big fancy New York City lawyer to be there to question him. But instead, it was a good ol’ boy from Willie’s part of Texas, and he recalled that they got on with some casual conversation, and Willie said he immediately liked him. They chitchatted for a while, but Willie knew the intention of having a fellow Texan there was part of a larger strategy. But he had an idea too… and it was brilliant. Willie had his team park his bus, which had a huge western scene painted on the front that you couldn’t miss, right in front of the courthouse so all of downtown Austin would know he was there. When fans inevitably realized Willie was there, he was happy to sign autographs and show them around: “When it came time to question me — a two-day ordeal scheduled at the IRS offices in Austin — I got an idea. By then I had Honeysuckle Rose II, the second incarnation of my custom bus with a Western scene painted on the exterior. ‘Let’s roll up to Austin in the bus,’ I told my team, ‘and park it right in front of their building.’ That’s what we did. The first sessions started at about eleven. I showed up in my usual jeans, T-shirt, and jogging shoes. I expected to be facing some sharpshooter from New York City. But they threw me a curve. The attorney was a good ol’ boy from my part of Texas.” He explained that he stayed “on guard” and answered only what he knew and nothing more. Simply put, he says: “Their strategy didn’t work. Mine did.” And as far as fans figuring out the country superstar was there, well, that didn’t take long at all. By the time they took a lunch break from the hearing, many were waiting for him outside. His on the spot meet-and-greet of sorts took three hours: “My strategy was to position my bus so that by lunchtime all of downtown Austin knew where it was parked. By the time we took our twelve-thirty break, there was a huge crowd of fans lined up outside Honeysuckle Rose II. One by one I let them on the bus, signed whatever they wanted me to sign, and let them take as many pictures as they liked. That took nearly three hours. When we got back up to the IRS offices, I apologized for the delay.” Kind of insane that he just stayed out there and wasn’t worried about getting back into the courthouse for a federal hearing, but once again, this is Willie Nelson we’re talking about. Willie added that the second day, the crowds were so big, Austin police had to come in and help keep it orderly. And not only that, but the clerks and secretaries at the IRS were sneaking out to see it and meet Willie, too (and I can’t say I blame them). And after the last session, the lawyer had one last question: “You sure you secretly never went to one of those fancy law schools back east, Willie?” Checkmate. Willie assured him that wasn’t the case, and that he had gotten all of his smarts from attending Abbott High, but it wasn’t over quite yet. Willie Records ‘The IRS Tapes’ Willie obviously didn’t have the past-due tax money the Feds wanted, but he could always “sing for [his] supper,” and that’s exactly what he did. He famously made a double album of sorts, the aforementioned The IRS Tapes: Who’ll Buy My Memories?, which were created as low-budget as possible. The feds agreed to his plan of using that project as a way to make money and pay them back, and Willie was the only musician that played on the songs, creating a bare-bones collection of 24 songs in total. Sony, who had him under contract at the time, also put in some money to help and the album was mainly marketed as a TV commercial. The cover of the album featured Willie wearing a cowboy hat with a T-shirt that read “S*** happens.” The red headed stranger also once said that he made the album as a way to “test their sense of humor,” making him probably the one and only person who ever had any desire to “test” the IRS, but hey, they don’t call him an outlaw for nothin’… you have to earn that kind of nickname. I mean, just look at how he handled the questioning from the media outside of the courthouse during a two year drug trafficking investigation that took place in Fort Worth, Texas. Smoother than butter: How to handle a sticky situation from the original outlaw… pic.twitter.com/EcIXMa8Ftn — Willie Nelson (@WillieNelson) February 2, 2024 There is and will only ever be Willie Nelson, and God bless him for it. Long live the red headed stranger. “Who’ll Buy My Memories” “Yesterday’s Wine” “Pretend I Never Happened” And while we’re here… “Bitin’ List” The post Willie Nelson Hilariously Puts The IRS On His “Bitin’ List” first appeared on Whiskey Riff.
