Lead ABC, CBS Shows Duck Deadly, Disturbing Shootout With a Crockett Bodyguard

It’s been a whole week since a member of Democratic Congresswoman Jasmine Crockett’s (TX) security detail was shot and killed by Dallas Police during a chase and subsequent standoff after police flagged his vehicle for having stolen plates. Police would come to find out a whole lot more about the man (including his multiple aliases), but ABC and CBS have seen no reason to cover it on their flagship morning or evening newscasts. NBC’s Today has also ignored it, but Tuesday’s NBC Nightly News broke through with a single, 104-second segment. Incredibly, though, they never stated Crockett was a Democrat. This story from Tuesday’s ‘NBC Nightly News’ was the only mention on the lead ABC, CBS, and NBC shows about one of Democrat Congresswoman Jasmine Crockett’s bodyguards dying in a police standoff and lied about his name and possessed stolen vehicles and firearms pic.twitter.com/AUlJAUTaSa — Curtis Houck (@CurtisHouck) March 18, 2026 Filling in for Tom Llamas, Meet the Press moderator Kristen Welker began: “[W]e have new body cam footage tonight showing a deadly police standoff with a man who served on a U.S. Congresswoman’s security team, Ryan Nobles, now with the video, and the questions being raised about how the suspect ever got the job.” Capitol Hill correspondent Ryan Nobles spent most of his story narrating the footage: NOBLES: Tonight, new police footage of the lead up to the death of a man who once served as a member of Congresswoman Jasmine Crockett’s security detail. DALLAS POLICE OFFICER: Hey, stop the car! Move your car! Move your car! NOBLES: 39-year-old Diamond Robinson was shot and killed after appearing to point a gun at police during a standoff. That video shows police chasing after the car he was driving, which had been flagged for having stolen plates. Nobles added police “followed [Robinson] him into a garage where he refused to get out of his car” and, after a soundbite from Dallas police executive assistant chief Terrence Rhodes that police offered a chance to talk to family members, “[p]olice fired tear gas to force Robinson out of his car,” who proceeded to “put his hands to his waist, and police say eventually pointed a gun.” Unsurprisingly, officers then opened fire, killing Robinson. Then came even more shadiness: “Police say Robinson, who was known as Mike King to Congresswoman Crockett and her staff, had multiple aliases and accused him of wearing police-style uniforms to falsely represent himself as a federal agent.” He concluded with Crockett feigning outrage and saying she had “lose a primary for U.S. Senate” without stating the party: Congresswoman Crockett, who recently lost a primary for U.S. Senate in Texas, said that Robinson’s past, “doesn’t fit the person we came to know as Mike King.” Congressman Crockett wants to know how Robinson got through the vetting process to make it on her security detail, calling the situation incredibly alarming[.] Earth to Nobles: It sure seems like Crockett was defending her fraudulent bodyguard. Do we have another Cori Bush situation on our hands? In contrast, the Fox News had multiple stories about Crockett, both on the Fox News Channel and Fox News Digital. One piece of information left out was the fact that, according to a Monday piece at Fox News Digital, “Dallas Police also said 11 firearms were recovered during their investigation, including the handgun he was holding during the shooting, which was reported stolen” and that “[t]he agencies that he reported to work for do not exist.” And a bodyguard’s deadly confrontation with police came less than a month after she had her team remove a reporter from The Atlantic (which was comical considering its perhaps the liberal elite’s favorite magazine). 'Minnesota was big but California is even bigger': Nick Shirley uncovers staggering alleged fraud right under Newsom's nose

Journalist Nick Shirley uncovered more than $170 million in alleged day-care and hospice fraud in California, surpassing the scandal he previously exposed in Minnesota. On Monday, Shirley shared a 40-minute video featuring him and his team confronting alleged fraudsters living in luxury at the expense of American taxpayers.'It's like somebody took a motel building and turned it into a hundred fraudulent organizations.'"Here is the full 40 minutes of my crew and I exposing California fraud, Minnesota was big but California is even bigger," Shirley wrote."We ALL work way too hard and pay too much in taxes for this to be happening. These fraudsters have been able to defraud American taxpayers for years without any pushback from the public and politicians," he continued. "It is time to EXPOSE IT ALL and end America's fraud crisis."In the video, Shirley explained that California's version of Medicare, Medi-Cal, has more than doubled from $108 billion in fiscal year 2022 to a proposed $222 billion in fiscal year 2026. "One out of every 10 dollars of home health care in America is spent in Los Angeles," Shirley stated. "It is estimated that the fraud in California could be in the hundreds of billions of dollars."Shirley and his crew stopped at several claimed day-care locations, including some homes in residential areas, that seemed to have no children present. In one instance, the team visited a supposed day care in an apartment complex, where they found two young children playing outside. The children informed them that no adults were present.RELATED: Mike Lee reveals the real victims of Somali fraud: 'It is not the rich people who suffer' Simone Lueck/Bloomberg via Getty Images"The crazy thing is California allocates $6 billion to child-care and day-care facilities just like these, and there are over 39,000 facilities in the state," Shirley said.Shirley and his team also visited alleged hospice centers receiving millions of dollars in taxpayer funds. He explained that two of the facilities charged roughly $6,000 per beneficiary."It looks like there's about 15 more hospice centers inside this one plaza we're going to right now," Shirley said.He noted that some facilities had not even registered with the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services, suggesting they may be shell companies."It's rumored that these are Armenian-Russian gangs," Shirley said. RELATED: Death threats, doxxing, and empty Dem seats: The high cost of Nick Shirley's fight against Minnesota welfare fraud PASCAL POCHARD-CASABIANCA/AFP/Getty ImagesOne of the hospice locations Shirley visited reportedly received roughly $1.3 million. However, the location was empty, with no employees or furniture inside."Not only are these shell companies, these are shell buildings," an individual on Shirley's team stated. "It's like somebody took a motel building and turned it into a hundred fraudulent organizations."Shirley highlighted the luxury vehicles in the parking lot, including Mercedes, Teslas, and BMWs.Shirley explained that fraudulent hospices collect taxpayer funds by obtaining Medicare beneficiary numbers from individuals and enrolling them in care without their knowledge."Must be very lucrative, because a lot of these businesses, these doors right here have nothing on them; all the blinds are turned out," he said. "This is what you call welfare maxxing." Like Blaze News? Bypass the censors, sign up for our newsletters, and get stories like this direct to your inbox. Sign up here!

A Hiker Just Stumbled Upon An Ancient Figurine Of A Bull’s Head On The Spanish Island Of Mallorca

Almallutx: ArqueoTramuntana/FacebookThe bull’s head figurine was found completely by chance — some 2,200 years or more after it was made. While hiking in the Serra de Tramuntana mountain range on the Spanish island of Mallorca, a man happened to spot a tiny object. It soon became clear that he’d stumbled upon a bronze bull’s head figurine that archaeologists believe is at least 2,200 years old. This tiny artifact — an incredibly rare and surprising find — remains somewhat mysterious. However, archaeologists say it bears some resemblance to other, more famous depictions of bulls found in the region, including a set of life-sized bronze bull heads from roughly the same period. The Chance Discovery Of An Ancient Bull’s Head Figurine In Mallorca’s Serra de Tramuntana Mountains According to reporting from Diario de Mallorca, the tiny bronze bull’s head was indeed found entirely by chance. A hiker in the Serra de Tramuntana mountain range happened to spot the artifact on a trail near the village of Valldemossa. The hiker asked friends if they knew any archaeologists, and ultimately got in touch with researcher and historian Jaume Deyà, who passed the artifact to the Consell de Mallorca (Mallorca Council). Jaume DeyàThe bull’s head is believed to date back to at least 123 B.C.E. Archaeologists believe that the bull’s head dates back to between 550 and 123 B.C.E., an era known as the post-Talaiotic period. Small enough to be held in the palm of the hand, the artifact is just 3.2 centimeters long, 1.7 centimeters tall, and 2.9 centimeters wide. “The finely carved details make it very special,” Deyà explained to Diario de Mallorca. “It stands out for its well-achieved proportions and the features of the horns, ears, muzzle, and eyes, as well as some incisions intended to highlight the animal’s features.” Deyà suspects that the bull’s head could have once been part of a “larger element.” It could have been the head of a statue, for example, or perhaps a “decorative motif” placed on a larger bull’s horn. Indeed, there is a small hole in the back of the piece, which suggests that it was originally connected to something else. And while questions about the bull’s head remain, Deyà believes that it may have a connection to a group of more famous Spanish bull artifacts from antiquity. How This Bronze Age Bull’s Head May Connect To Other Artifacts Found In Spain Bulls have long been an important animal in Spanish culture, and Deyà suspects that the bull’s head found in Serra de Tramuntana may have a connection to a set of other bull artifacts found in the Mallorcan town of Costitx. Discovered in the late 1800s, these three, life-size bronze bull heads date back to sometime between 550 and 200 B.C.E., roughly the same era as the newly-uncovered bull’s head. Jaume DeyàThe small bull’s head bears some resemblance to the Costitx bulls, one of which is seen on the right above. According to Deyà, the smaller bull’s head bears a strong resemblance to two of the Costitx bulls, although its horns and ears are much smaller. “It’s as if we were looking at a representation of the head of a young bull or heifer,” Deyà remarked. If the artifacts are connected, the Costitx bulls may offer some hint about the origin and purpose of the smaller bull’s head. They’re thought to be depictions of a deity, or perhaps connected to the ancient practice of bull worship, found everywhere from Sumeria to Canaan. And the recently-discovered bull’s head could fit into this interpretation as well. Regardless of its original meaning, however, the newly-uncovered bull’s head is indisputably an important find. As Deyà told Diario de Mallorca, three similar artifacts have documented, but have since vanished. What’s more, these bull’s heads were all unearthed more than 50 years ago, with nothing similar found since. The bull’s head discovered in Serra de Tramuntana is thus an incredibly rare find. Indeed, Deyà is hopeful that this stunning relic could lead archaeologists to other discoveries in these mountains. As he explained to Diario de Mallorca, he’s asked the Mallorca Council to conduct an archaeological survey of the area where the hiker found the bull’s head in hopes of uncovering other similar artifacts from the region’s ancient past. After reading about the tiny bronze bull’s head found by a hiker on a trail in Spain, discover the gruesome story of champion matador Víctor Barrio, who was gored by a bull on live TV. Then, learn about the Brazen Bull, the legendary torture device that was allegedly used in ancient Greece.
