Woke Strikes Again! Police Officer Forced to Resign for Racist Remarks That Weren’t Racist

A police officer in Oregon lost his job over ‘racist remarks’. The only problem is that he said nothing racist at all. The officer resigned after the comments surfaced. He served Oregon for over 20 years. The chief of Eugene’s police department confirmed the officer would have been placed on administrative leave immediately, and he would have been fired if he hadn’t resigned. What cowards and illogical people these are. The officer said he supported ICE. That didn’t go over well. But basically, he was saying the opposite of what they accused him of saying. Watch the clip. This officer just got fired in Eugene, OR for "racist" private remarks. Here's the audio. Literally said nothing wrong. pic.twitter.com/XaDwwQIHVV — End Wokeness (@EndWokeness) May 13, 2026 The post Woke Strikes Again! Rand Paul’s Son Rants Against ‘Gays’ And ‘Jews’ During Alcohol-Fueled Rant

Sen. Rand Paul’s (R-KY) son, William Paul, said Wednesday he is seeking treatment after unleashing a drunken antisemitic tirade at Rep. Mike Lawler (R-NY), who is not Jewish. “Last night, I had too much to drink and said some things that don’t represent who I really am. I’m sorry and today I am seeking help for my drinking problem,” William Paul posted on X. The scene unfolded on Tuesday evening at a Washington, D.C. bar, where Lawler was speaking with News Of The U.S. (NOTUS) reporter Reese Gorman. The younger Paul interrupted to inform Lawler that if Rep. Thomas Massie (R-KY) loses his upcoming primary, it will be because of “your people.” “My people?” Lawler asked. “Yeah, you Jews,” was Paul’s response. Lawler was taken aback: “Do you think I’m Jewish? I’m not.” Paul apologized for the assumption, but continued making antisemitic remarks, claiming Jewish people were “anti-American” and accusing Lawler’s supposed Jewish supporters of prioritizing Israel over the United States. The New York congressman recounted the conversation for The New York Post, explaining that Paul had already appeared to be pretty “drunk” and was behaving in a “belligerent” manner when he first approached — and had immediately launched his tirade. “So Rand Paul’s f*cking son is sitting next to us at the bar … And he just like chimes in on our conversation, f*cking drunk and belligerent, and then starts going off about, you know, if [Rep. Thomas] Massie [R-KY] loses [his primary], it’s because of my people,” Lawler said, adding, “I’m like, ‘What people?’ He goes, ‘Jews,’ and I’m like, ‘Do you think I’m Jewish? … I’m Irish-Italian Catholic, buddy.'” Lawler said that Paul claimed the United States was trying to steal land from Iran in order to give it to Jewish people, at which point he said he asked the younger Paul what he was talking about. “This war, it’s all about the gays and the Jews, and I hate them both, and I don’t care if they die,” Paul reportedly told Lawler before advising him to watch more Tucker Carlson. Lawler said he attempted to end the conversation, saying, “Well, you just seem to hate Jews, so there’s no point arguing anymore.” Paul then accused Lawler of putting words in his mouth and gave him the middle finger before admitting that he was “really drunk” and making a quick exit. Paul has had previous legal troubles stemming from a 2013 assault charge that was dropped and a 2015 DUI, to which he pleaded guilty. When asked about the situation, Sen. Paul told NBC News reporter Frank Thorp, “I don’t have anything for you on it.”

Georgia Gov Calls Special Session To Redraw Maps, Democrats Cry Gerrymandering

Georgia Gov Calls Special Session To Redraw Maps, Democrats Cry Gerrymandering

Georgia Republican Gov. Brian Kemp on Wednesday called a special session to redraw the state’s congressional and legislative districts before the 2028 elections. Kemp signed a proclamation convening the General Assembly on June 17 to address redistricting after a recent U.S. Supreme Court ruling ended race-based gerrymandering. The news, first reported by The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, comes as Republican-led states across the South move to redraw the maps ahead of the November midterms. The special session next month in Atlanta is expected to center on new maps that could take effect for the 2028 election cycle, particularly if Republicans lose power in the governor’s office or state legislature this fall. “The new maps could net Republicans two U.S. House districts and further entrench GOP power in GA’s General Assembly,” VoteHub, an independent election reporting outlet, said on social media.  NEWS — Georgia Gov. Brian Kemp has called a special session to redraw Georgia’s congressional, state House, and state Senate districts before the 2028 elections. The new maps could net Republicans two U.S. House districts and further entrench GOP power in GA’s General Assembly. — VoteHub (@VoteHub) May 13, 2026 Georgia’s Freedom Caucus, a state-level bloc of Republicans, celebrated the move, urging state lawmakers not to waste the opportunity. “We must not let this opportunity go to waste,” the group said on social media. “The time is NOW to scrap the machines and go to paper ballots. The time is NOW to end racial gerrymandering and provide Georgians with fair electoral maps. Democrats slammed the decision. “We just learned that Georgia is moving forward with gerrymandering for 2028,” Sen. Raphael Warnock (D-GA) posted on X. “There is an extreme movement in this country that will stop at nothing to hold on to power, even if it means stripping representation away from millions. I will fight this with everything I have.” We just learned that Georgia is moving forward with gerrymandering for 2028. There is an extreme movement in this country that will stop at nothing to hold on to power, even if it means stripping representation away from millions. I will fight this with everything I have. — Reverend Raphael Warnock (@ReverendWarnock) May 13, 2026 Georgia’s Democratic Party said redistricting would undermine minority representation and energize its base. “Governor Kemp’s decision to call a special session to redraw our maps immediately in the wake of the gutting of the Voting Rights Act is not only a brazen attempt to take away the voting power of Black Georgians – it shows just how scared Republicans are of Georgia voters,” the group said in a statement.  Georgia’s approach differs from other Republican-led states that have already moved forward with redistricting tied to more immediate election cycles. Florida and Tennessee have enacted new maps, while Alabama and Louisiana are expected to follow. On Tuesday, the Missouri Supreme Court upheld new district lines expected to net Republicans a seat. On Wednesday, several media outlets reported South Carolina GOP Gov. Henry McMaster is planning to call a special session next week to weigh a new map that could eliminate the state’s remaining Democratic seat after Republicans hit a procedural roadblock on Wednesday.

The Case for Capitalism: Steve Forbes Explains Why Free Markets Work and Socialism Doesn’t

The Case for Capitalism: Steve Forbes Explains Why Free Markets Work and Socialism Doesn’t

Young people now blame capitalism for poverty, racism, high prices, even climate change.  They listen to people like Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, who says, “Capitalism ... is the absolute pursuit of profit at all human, environmental and social cost. That is not a redeemable system.” Give me a break. Yes, capitalism is often ugly. It brings out greed in some, exacerbates wealth differences, creates pollution (creating an actual need for government regulation, which capitalism funds) and leaves some people behind. But nothing else works! Nothing else makes life better for most people, including the poor! “Capitalism is moral, precisely because success comes from meeting the needs and wants of others,” says Steve Forbes of Forbes magazine. “Higher standard of living comes from trading, buying and selling with one another. Everybody gets something from a transaction.” Everybody, because capitalism, unlike socialism, and most of government, is voluntary. Transactions happen only if both sides believe they won. It’s why there’s often an odd double “thank you” moment when we buy something -- both buyer and seller say, “Thank you.” Why? Because the seller wants my money more than his product. I want his product more than the money I paid. Otherwise, the trade wouldn’t happen. Millions of such voluntary transactions create wealth. That’s capitalism. The ignorant think rich people take from poor people. As the popular YouTube channel Secular Talk puts it, “Jeff Bezos ... his wealth is making a lot of people poor ... because we have a finite amount of money.” Wrong! There is not a finite amount of money. That silly idea is the essential fallacy in attacks on capitalism. Because capitalism is voluntary, it creates wealth.     For thousands of years, everyone but the nobility was poor. Then, when some countries tried capitalism, wealth skyrocketed. When people are allowed to buy and sell things freely, everyone is better off. Socialists don’t get that. AOC insists: “No one ever makes a billion dollars. You take a billion.” But no billionaire showed up at my door demanding I give them money. Under capitalism, they can only get rich by offering people something we think is better than what we bought before. Yes, Amazon’s founder is now absurdly rich, but consumers didn’t lose. Jeff Bezos got rich by inventing a way for us to shop efficiently and pay less. And as Forbes points out, most billionaires weren’t born rich. “What’s amazing about these individuals, they’re from the most unlikely backgrounds, and (they invented) things you don’t plan for.” Margaret Rudkin, a housewife in Connecticut, noticed that bread worsened her son’s asthma. She experimented with different recipes, came up with modern whole wheat bread and grew her business into the company we now know as Pepperidge Farm. “What planner would have planned that?” laughs Forbes in my new video. He uses the term “planner” because socialists claim government dictates will make our economy work better than letting individuals making our own choices. They’re wrong. The failure of socialism everywhere should have taught us that! But no. Politicians still think they can do better. “Capitalism has let a lot of people down,” says likely presidential candidate Pete Buttigieg. Maybe, but capitalism also lifted more people out of poverty, created more opportunities and improved more lives than any other system. Economist Thomas Sowell said, “I don’t ask, ‘What is the cause of poverty?’ Everybody is born poor and ignorant. The question is, what factors allow some groups to get from that position?” “Sowell put it well,” concludes Forbes. “What is the difference between people today and people in the Stone Age? Difference is -- we know more. That’s how you get a higher standard of living, from experiments in the marketplace, the laboratory, always trying to find new things. That’s why planning doesn’t work, because if we already knew it, we’d already be doing it!” Only capitalism allows the experiments that create better lives. Every Tuesday at JohnStossel.com, Stossel posts a new video about the battle between government and freedom. He is the author of “Government Gone Wild: Exposing the Truth Behind the Headlines.”
