It also has antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties. “If we’re able to disentangle, and to reverse engineer, how nature has solved these challenges for them, that can be transformative for pausing aging, human fertility, transport of organs and provide new means of fighting disease,” Yannick Wurm, a newly appointed program director who will join seven others in this endeavor, said in a press release. “One of the mechanisms by which queen bees live longer than worker bees would be reducing the degree of oxidative damage by up-regulating antioxidant genes’ expressions via inhibiting [insulin signaling],” the research team said in that study, published in Applied and Environmental Microbiology. A source told ABC News the House Democrats loosely plan on returning this weekend. Those plans could change, the source noted, if Republicans go back on their word to begin a second special session on Friday. He came back a second year, and it grew.” One person described the rabbit as having “a scabbiesh-looking growth over their face.” According to wildlife officials, the growths are caused by a virus that results in wart-like protrusions on the rabbit’s face or head. The condition is similar to benign cancerous cells and has no known cure, CPW said. Wildlife officials emphasized that while the virus can spread between rabbits, it is not known to be contagious to humans, dogs, or other wildlife.

Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton is not playing games, and Beto O’Rourke is about to find that out the hard way. AG Paxton is now seeking to hold Beto O’Rourke in contempt of court for blatantly defying a court order. The order barred O’Rourke from continuing to solicit donations to pay for the travel expenses of the runaway House Democrats who fled the state in order to block a vote on redistricting. And yet, not even 24 hours after the court order was issued, O’Rourke openly mocked the ruling and asked the crowd at a rally in Fort Worth to donate to help fund these fugitives. In response, AG Paxton has asked a judge to throw O’Rourke in jail in order to “persuade” him to obey! AG Ken Paxton announced: BREAKING: I’m taking action to hold Robert Francis O’Rourke in contempt for violating a court order and scamming Texans. Beto is about to find out that running your mouth and ignoring the rule of law has consequences in Texas. Less than 24 hours after the temporary restraining order was signed, Robert Francis told a crowd of hundreds in Fort Worth that he would continue fundraising in violation of the restraining order because “there are no refs in this game, f*** the rules.” Robert Francis is wrong on both counts. There is a referee—the Honorable Megan Fahey—and there are rules—namely, that a person violating a temporary restraining order can be fined up to $500 and jailed for up to six months. Given Robert Francis’s vulgar disdain for the rule of law and immense personal wealth, imprisonment is absolutely necessary to persuade him to obey the lawful restraining order issued by the Tarrant County court. “Beto told me ‘to come and take,’ so I did and beat him in court. Now, he still thinks he’s above the law, so I’m working to put him behind bars,” said Attorney General Paxton. “Robert Francis flagrantly and knowingly violated the court order I secured that prevents him from raising funds and distributing any more Beto Bribes.  He’s about to find out that running your mouth and ignoring the rule of law has consequences in Texas. It’s time to lock him up.” O’Rourke, whose criminal past includes drunk driving, was sued by Attorney General Paxton last Friday for operating a misleading and fraudulent scheme to raise personal funds for rogue runaway lawmakers breaking quorum while advertising it as political fundraising. Just a few hours later, a court ordered O’Rourke and his organization, Powered by People, to stop their unlawful fundraising operation and expenditures.
