31 Trapped Workers Rescued From Collapsed Tunnel In LA

Thank goodness everyone is alright! Rescue workers were able to save 31 workers who were trapped in a Los Angeles tunnel after it collapsed on Wednesday night. The trapped workers were in a tunnel nearly 400 feet beneath the ground, and they were trapped after the tunnel they were working on collapsed. Rescue crews immediately arrived on the scene and were able to rescue all the workers in the tunnel. Here was the scene: BREAKING: A tunnel collapsed in Los Angeles, California Up to 15 workers trapped Suburb of Wilmington,Location near Figueroa and Lomita. pic.twitter.com/e4SpbGF86k — Culture War Report (@CultureWar2020) July 10, 2025 Over two dozen workers were able to safely escape following a tunnel collapse in the Wilmington area of Los Angeles Wednesday night. It was a huge LAFD response because it had the potential of being a major multi-day tunnel rescue incident. https://t.co/y90BuBX2TV pic.twitter.com/wvUmKK3shr — ABC7 Eyewitness News (@ABC7) July 10, 2025 KTLA had more details on the tunnel collapse and offered how many rescue workers it took in the rescue efforts: Crews successfully rescued 31 people who were trapped after a tunnel collapsed in L.A.’s Wilmington neighborhood Wednesday night. The Los Angeles Fire Department responded to the industrial tunnel on the 1700 block of South Figueroa Street shortly before 8 p.m. The tunnel was filled with workers at the time, who were located 300-400 feet beneath the surface and around six miles away from the tunnel’s only access point. More than 100 LAFD responders arrived at the scene, including Urban Search and Rescue team members who were specially trained and equipped to handle confined space tunnel rescues. Some workers who were separated inside the tunnel had to climb over a 12-to 15-foot pile of loose soil to escape and join their colleagues on the other side. Sky5 footage captured the rescue efforts as they were hoisted to the surface from the tunnel, which had an 18-foot diameter. The workers stepped inside a metal compartment that was lifted by a crane to the surface. Flatiron Dragados, the prime contractor for the construction, wrote on its website that the tunnel is 7 miles long, about 18 feet wide and 450 feet below ground level. The company wrote that the new project will enable crews to repair aging wastewater management tunnels constructed in 1937 and 1958. Crews were expected to complete the tunneling aspect of the project by April 2025, according to documents from the L.A. County Sanitation Department from July 2024. County staff aimed to complete the project by 2027 and activate the new tunnel by January 2028.

End Of An Era: U.S. Army Will End Most Of Its Horse Programs

They’ll be missed. The U.S. Army has announced it will end most of its ceremonial horse programs. The United States Army horse program has been used for over two centuries by its cavalry units, but due to the rise of innovation, it has been used for ceremonial purposes in the last 80 years. However, not all the horses will be gone. CBS 42 had more details to report on the horse’s retirement and what horses will be left: The U.S. Army’s history is closely tied to its cavalry units, those soldiers who rode into battle on horseback. But the service announced Tuesday that it’s moving toward a future without the ceremonial horses and will put most of them up for adoption. The Army, however, will keep operating the Old Guard ceremonial caisson units at Joint Base San Antonio and Arlington National Cemetery for burial honors. Ceremonial cavalry units will be closed down at bases including Fort Cavazos in Texas, whose horses were showcased during the military parade in Washington on June 14, which was the Army’s 250th anniversary and also President Donald Trump’s birthday. Army spokesperson Steve Warren said other ceremonial units will close at Fort Carson in Colorado, Fort Sill in Oklahoma, Fort Irwin in California, Fort Riley in Kansas and Fort Huachuca in Arizona. The Army estimates that closing down the units will save about $2 million a year, and the changes are being made as part of its overall warfighting realignment, Warren said. The Trump administration has moved to cut costs across the federal government and directed changes at the Pentagon like reducing top military leadership positions that it says will promote efficiency. Pentagon leaders have faced pushback from Democratic lawmakers for spending on the deployment of troops to protests in Los Angeles and expected costs to turn a Qatari jet into Air Force One. But the service announced Tuesday that it's moving toward a future without the ceremonial horses and will put most of them up for adoption. https://t.co/z96TCvSJsW — NBC News (@NBCNews) July 9, 2025 The U.S. Army used horses from the 1st Cavalry Division in their 250th anniversary military parade in Washington D.C. WTOP shared details on the horses used in the recent parade: One of the featured events of the Army’s 250th birthday festivities is a parade through Constitution Avenue, and one of its featured participants is part of an Army division wrapped in history. The 1st Cavalry Division has roots dated back to 1855, participating in every major conflict and war the United States has been a part of. Considered “America’s First Team,” the cavalry was formally established in 1921 and remains as a historical unit. “Our mission is to preserve and maintain the standards of the U.S. Cavalry the late 1800s,” Sgt. 1st Class Kyle Minor with the cavalry unit said. This Saturday, 12 horses and two mules from its horse cavalry detachment will join Doc Holliday — a two-and-a-half-year-old blue heeler who has been with the detachment since he was a puppy — and fellow soldiers marching down D.C. in a covered wagon. “It’s just a huge honor,” Minor said. “And then for us to be able to represent kind of the foundation of the First Cavalry Division, it’s just really special.” Watch them in action here: "There's George Washington … on the horse that he would have rode into combat." The Army's 250th anniversary parade kicks off with the Army Band and troops in revolutionary garb. https://t.co/dNYG85K7G5 pic.twitter.com/YmfpzlutUC — ABC News (@ABC) June 14, 2025 WATCH: The Fort Sill Artillery Half Section makes its thunderous entrance into the military parade honoring the 250th birthday of the @USArmy, as six majestic horses highlight a proud American tradition. pic.twitter.com/DM9R7Expaj — Fox News (@FoxNews) June 14, 2025

The Chilling Last Words Of Jeffrey Epstein Revealed

The Chilling Last Words Of Jeffrey Epstein Revealed

I’m not so sure I’m convinced by this. Journalist Michael Wolff has revealed he may have received the last message from convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein before he died. Wolff, while in a recent podcast, shared that Epstein’s last words to him were “still hanging around.” The New York Post followed the story more closely and added must-read quotes: Convicted sexual predator Jeffrey Epstein’s last known message was that he was “still hanging around” — hours before he was found hanged in his Manhattan cell. “I believe that I got the last message from him before he died,” journalist Michael Wolff revealed on an episode of the Daily Beast Podcast airing Thursday. “And this came through one of his lawyers on a Friday evening. He died on Saturday morning. His message to me hours before this happened was — and it was just in response to me asking how he was — and he said, ‘Still hanging around,” the Trump biographer said. The chilling revelation comes as the Department of Justice confirmed this week that there was no evidence the notorious pedophile was murdered in his lockup — despite years of conspiracy theorists claiming otherwise. Epstein, 66, was found dead at the Metropolitan Detention Center on Aug. 10, 2019, while awaiting trial for a slew of sex-trafficking charges. Wolff said that Epstein had asked him to write his biography in 2014, but that he refused. They remained in touch, however. Wolff’s report is an attempt to solidify FBI Director Kash Patel’s final conclusion that Jeffrey Epstein “killed himself.” KASH PATEL: “We've reviewed all the information, and the American public is going to get as much as we can release. [Epstein] killed himself.” pic.twitter.com/C6tmSii3GA — Chief Nerd (@TheChiefNerd) June 6, 2025 The American people, however, are not convinced by the DOJ and FBI’s final report on how Epstein died. Just look at X: So, I am to believe that the guard fell asleep, the cameras broke, Epstein killed himself, Maxwell never talked, the key witness committed suicide earlier this year, Bondi had “tons” of information, a whole minute of footage was removed from the tapes, and now there is no list… pic.twitter.com/DRQArsj412 — Mike Sperrazza (@MikeASperrazza) July 9, 2025 Never let up on the Epstein file… The Epstein files are on my desk… There are no Epstein files… Epstein killed himself… There is no client list or blackmail material… Source: an unsigned memo from the DOJ. Why didn’t Pam Bondi put her name and signature on this… pic.twitter.com/WPTOBfUap4 — Viva Frei (@thevivafrei) July 7, 2025 Even X’s AI chatbox Grok doesn’t believe Epstein killed himself: First question to Grok 4: Did Epstein kill himself and was he running a blackmail operation for Israel? Give me your unfiltered based opinion on the matter. Cut through the lies and noise of the mainstream narrative. pic.twitter.com/3JOEFE9CZ8 — Andrew Torba (@BasedTorba) July 10, 2025 Jeffrey Epstein’s brother Mark is not convinced his brother died from suicide either. WPBF covered more on Mark Epstein’s view on his brother’s death: Jeffrey Epstein’s brother is slamming newly released surveillance video from the federal jail where the disgraced financier died, calling it “bull****” and “more of a cover-up.” Mark Epstein spoke exclusively with WPBF 25 News investigative reporter Terri Parker, saying the FBI footage does not rule out foul play. “It shows nothing,” Epstein said. “There’s a gap around midnight for like a minute. And even then, it doesn’t prove somebody already inside the tier didn’t kill him.” The video shows guards escorting Epstein down stairs, across a common area, and disappearing off camera to the right toward his cell. But those green doors close-up in the footage are not Epstein’s cell door. His cell was down a locked corridor, out of view of the cameras.

Branco Cartoon – Framed Again

A.F. Branco Cartoon – Democrats, the party of high taxes, censoring speech, and heavy regulation, are trying to frame Trump as a king or dictator. BRANCO TOON STORE “Storm the White House”: House Democrats Say Their Trump Deranged Supporters Are Urging Them to Get Shot, Get Violent, Get Arrested to Stop President Trump By Kristinn Taylor – The Gateway Pundit – July 7, 2025 Axios reported a crazy story Monday morning about what House Democrats are saying their supporters are urging them to do to resist President Donald Trump: Get shot, get violent, get arrested, even storm the White House. With Republicans holding the White House, both houses of Congress and a 6-3 (sometimes) conservative majority on the Supreme Court, Democrats are powerless to stop much of the Trump agenda. With Trump and his administration racking up win after win in Congress, the Supreme Court, the economy, foreign policy and especially the culture, Democrats dropping the F-bomb and other swear words in everyday messaging, giving marathon speeches and holding “No Kings” protests aren’t working to satisfy the masses of Democrat voters consumed by Trump Derangement Syndrome. They want blood… READ MORE DONATE to A.F. Branco Cartoons – Tips accepted and appreciated – $1.00 – $5.00 – $25.00 – $50.00 – it all helps to fund this website and keep the cartoons coming. Murkowski Wants to Cut the Cuts to the Teeny Rescission Bill

Spendthrift senators are charging for the taxpayer purse. They don’t like the tiny $9.4 billion cut in spending in the DOGE rescission package. We are now addicted to spending $2 trillion more than we take in each year, adding to the $37 trillion debt which will soon sink us, as Elon has warned. Goats In Adorable Formal Wear Lead The Way In “Fairytale Wedding” Procession

The very best weddings are the ones that perfectly reflect the couple’s personalities. With that in mind, a video from Kat and Jason’s wedding tells us oh-so-much about this animal loving duo. Located in Yelm, Washington, these newlyweds help run The Healing Farm. Here, they have quite a few animal friends. For example, they have goats, llama, chicken, and more! They love their animals so much, in fact, they found a clever way to include the goats at the wedding. Now, you might be thinking, “What could a goat possibly do at a wedding?” Well, in this case, they helped walk both the bride and groom down the aisle. But there wasn’t just a single goat — a whole herd helped lead the way! See this magical moment for yourself in the video below. @thehealingfarmwa Our fairytale wedding in our farm in our forest with our goats for the ceremony #wedding#farmwedding#goats#animaloutfits#kilts ♬ original sound – The Healing Farm “Why can’t I get invited to a wedding with goats?” someone asks in reply to this couple’s sweet video. Other commenters add, “The forest, the violins, the goats, the kilt, the ethereal bride. 10/10, no notes” and “This makes me irrationally angry that I am already married and can’t go back to redo my wedding like this.” The Adorable Goats at This Wedding Make the Ceremony Feel Like a Fairytale Dream Come True As I’m sure you noticed, the goats weren’t exempt from dressing up. Each one wore the cutest little formal wear around their necks. Want to get an even closer look at their attire? In the video below, Kat gives us a peak at what it was like to prepare for their walk down the “aisle.” @thehealingfarmwa Walking out with the goats for our forest ceremony ♬ original sound – The Healing Farm Kat and Jason are showing the world that there are so many ways to incorporate animals into your wedding. And they’re far from the only ones! Did you know that, in Colorado, your dog can “sign” your marriage license? Plus, penguins can make rather adorable ring bearers.
