When Pathetic Tools Meet Their Doom: 'What Happened in Tower Hamlets Was a Show of Strength'

It looks like CNBC Squawk Box co-anchor Becky Quick is fed up with the Democrats’ hypocritical nonsense over the ongoing government shutdown. Quick skewered House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY) during the October 24 edition of Squawk Box. Quick scolded him over Obamacare subsidies: “What you’re asking the Republicans to do right now when they control the White House, the Senate and the House is effectively what the Democrats could not do when they controlled all three heads of government themselves,”  The CNBC personality continued, with Jeffries just staring stone-faced: “The three-year set up for the expiration of these credits was intentionally put in. It was put in when you controlled the White House, the House and the Senate. You couldn’t get it passed for longer.”   Quick then wrapped up: “This is a setup kind of your own creation that you all couldn’t extend beyond that. Now you want the Republicans to do something you didn’t do when you were in power?” Game. Set. Match.   Jeffries stumbled over himself to try to save face: “Uh, it’s not a setup beyond what we could do.” What does that even mean? The House Minority leader proceeded to deflect from the question entirely and just prop up his political side’s illusory healthcare policy bona fides: “We extended the Affordable Care Act (ACA) tax credits in 2022, uh, for three years. The program is working. It’s providing healthcare to tens of millions of people in an affordable way and it should be continued.”  If it's "working," why does it need massive subsidies to prevent prices from exploding? Jeffries will surely be in for a rude awakening when he finds out that the The Washington Post editorial board just admitted recently that Obamacare “was never actually affordable” to begin with. The architects of former President Barack Obama’s 2010 “signature achievement,” wrote The Post, “assumed that risk pools would be bigger than they turned out to be. As a result, policies cost more than expected.” Talking about getting caught with your pants down, eh Hakeem?

Watching ABC News’s The View throughout October, one couldn’t help but think that their pearl clutching hyperventilation about President Trump supposedly trying to steal the midterms with the National Guard and the ballroom being evidence that he planned on holding onto power, were meant to incite another assassination attempt. On Monday’s show, they claimed that Trump was in fact a “dictator,” that he was planning on running again in 2028, and he was going to steal the election. “Well, [Trump] told us he was going to be a dictator on day one and, damn, if he isn't a dictator,” proclaimed ABC News moderator Whoopi Goldberg. Despite playing a soundbite of Trump denying that he was going to seek a third term because the people wouldn’t support him, Goldberg warned he was going to do it anyway and wanted to know if their audience was “going to let it happen”: TRUMP: I think the people wouldn't like that, it's too cute. It’s not – It wouldn't be right. [Cuts back to live] GOLDBERG: So, just so we're clear, you have nothing to say about any of this [pointing to the audience]. Just understand that. Okay? Republicans have pretty much given him free rein up until now. Are they going to let this happen? Are y'all going to let it happen [looking to the audience]?   BREAKING: ABC News claims President Trump is in fact a "dictator." "Well, [Trump] told us he was going to be a dictator on day one and, damn, if he isn't a dictator." pic.twitter.com/t1BvYTmxLM — Nicholas Fondacaro (@NickFondacaro) October 27, 2025   Faux conservative co-host Alyssa Farah Griffin admitted that peddling such claims made her feel “crazy” and like a “conspiracy theorist,” but went on to defend their disinformation anyway: “I asked Justice Sotomayor when she was here and people were like ‘oh, that's so wild.’ But here’s the thing, this is a person who’s been right before saying it, the President himself isn't ruling it out.” Obviously, Farah Griffin’s claim that “the President himself isn't ruling it out” was a boldfaced lie since they played a soundbite of him saying, “I think the people wouldn't like that, it's too cute. It’s not – It wouldn't be right.”   Alyssa Farah Griffin admits she feels like a "crazy" "conspiracy theorist" when they claim Trump is a dictator and doesn't plan on leaving office, but does so anyway. You would either need a super majority in Congress to pass a change to the Constitution or you would need two-thirds of states calling for a constitutional convention to consider making this change. I sort of think that he's going to try to challenge it through the courts on the grounds that it wouldn't be consecutive terms. And so, to kind of parse the language within the Constitution to say that he actually could do this. And with the makeups of the courts where a lot of judges are in power because Trump put them there, it's possible that they perhaps could rule in his favor. So, I say don't rule out what he is saying. “He's done thing that people never thought he would never do,” decried Sunny Hostin, going on to take the incendiary position that Trump was planning on never leaving the White House: I actually have come to the conclusion that he is most definitely going to try to remain in power, because remember, that East Wing it's going to take a long time to build that. He is hooking up the White House because he doesn't plan on leaving it. I don’t think he plans on leaving.   The View-anon strikes again. But Hostin countered with an insane theory that Trump was just going to have the National Guard steal it for him: HOSTIN: What if he militarizes everything? FARAH GRIFFIN: I’m not going there today. HOSTIN: What if he militarizes everything? He has sent in the National Guard. And what if does that? GOLDBERG: He is not -- he's going to do what he's going to do. HOSTIN: Yeah. GOLDBERG: He's going to try everything he can do and he doesn't care what we think. He's going to do this. “If he wants to do it and there's no opposition, he's going to do it. There needs to be opposition,” Goldberg demanded.   ABC News and Disney, via The View, once against falsely claims the National Guard will be used to steal the election and something needs to be done about Trump: FARAH GRIFFIN: [If Trump ran again] there would still, I believe, be an election in this country. This ABC News segment came during a disturbing rise across the country in inciting rhetoric and messages of death against Trump and conservatives, including at leftist events such as the so-called “No Kings” protests. That’s not to mention it followed the assassination of conservative influencer Charlie Kirk, who The View mourned and exploited to demand the rhetoric be turned down. They later demanded people stop blaming liberals for the murder. The transcript is below. Mass shootings at and near a pair of historically black colleges and universities over their homecoming weekends Friday and Saturday left one dead and at least 11 wounded, authorities said.The violence was an eerie repeat of tragedies that took place last fall at two HBCUs — also during their homecoming festivities — and some observers are concerned about a possible trend.'This is becoming an every-year occurrence at a lot of schools.'1 dead, 6 wounded at Lincoln UniversityAt Lincoln University in Chester County, Pennsylvania — about an hour and 15 minutes west of Philadelphia — one person was killed and at least six people were wounded after a shooting Saturday evening, WHP-TV reported.Officials identified one suspect as 21-year-old Zecqueous Morgan-Thompson, the station said, adding that court documents indicated he was charged with carrying a firearm without a license and was being held in Chester County Prison on $25,000 bail.Officials said they believe the suspects did not attend homecoming with the intent to commit a mass shooting, WHP reported.RELATED: Black men don’t want to go to historically black colleges and universities? Black Americans are feeling unsafe."The Root said another TikTok user recalled shootings last year at HBCUs and wondered if this represents a trend. Another user said, “This is becoming an every-year occurrence at a lot of schools, smh," according to the outlet.Last fall, two shootings occurred at two HBCUs — also during their homecoming weekends.A dozen people were shot — one of them fatally — at Tuskegee University in Alabama last November. The deceased individual, an 18-year-old, reportedly died at the scene. One man reportedly was charged with possession of a machine gun in connection with the shooting. A month prior, five people were shot — one fatally — in a crowded area near a campus concert at Albany State University in Georgia.Following the 2024 HBCU shootings, an Atlanta Journal-Constitution reporter penned an op-ed stating that there is a "growing and disturbing trend of gun violence that is threatening to change the nature of Black colleges' most sacred institution — homecoming."The AJC reporter, Ernie Suggs, added:In 2022, four people, including three students, were wounded near Clark Atlanta University after a drive-by shooting during a homecoming celebration.In 2023, five people, including four students, were shot at Morgan State University. Under President Donald Trump and Secretary Brooke Rollins, the U.S. Department of Agriculture is not messing around. The department recently updated its website to include a text banner excoriating Senate Democrats for refusing to end the government shutdown, which will trigger a cutoff of Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program benefits on Nov. 1. 'They can continue to hold out for health care for illegal aliens and gender mutilation procedures or reopen the government.'The USDA website gets right to the point: "Senate Democrats have now voted 12 times to not fund the food stamp program. ... Bottom line, the well has run dry. At this time, there will be no benefits issued November 01." SNAP runs through USDA and is funded through the Farm Bill, which is renewed every five years. The bill was last renewed in 2018, expiring in 2023. Congress has voted to extend it twice, with the last extension lasting through September 2025.
