Yesterday, Claudia Sheinbaum became the first woman elected president of Mexico. The 61-year-old former mayor of Mexico City and climate scientist will replace her mentor, President Andrés Manuel López Obrador, on Oct. 1. Sheinbaum’s victory was marred by the violence surrounding Mexico’s most recent elections. Less than 24 hours after her election, Yolanda Sánchez, the mayor of the town of Cotija, was shot and killed in an ambush by gunmen. The culprits have yet to be identified but most likely belong to the Jalisco New Generation cartel, which is infamous for targeting public officials that work against their interests. Sanchez’s death is not unusual for political officials and candidates in Mexico. In fact, it seems to be becoming the norm. Violence Runs Rampant On Sunday, Mexican voters elected over 20,000 officials in their country’s largest election in history. This election cycle saw a 150 percent increase in political violence since 2021. In the past two weeks alone, at least nine people died during attempts to kill an additional two candidates. Sources vary on how many political candidates have died this election cycle. Some estimates place the number as high as 37 dead while more conservative estimates put the number at around 20. Abductions of political candidates have also been on the rise. Some candidates have even abandoned their races because of fear they will be killed or abducted next. The enormous numbers of dead and abducted political candidates result from the rampant organized crime in Mexico. Criminal organizations that are seeking to control local resources have most targeted local candidates, who make up 85 percent of the victims. Presidential Responses President Obrador of the left-wing Morena party has thus far dismissed the violence, saying that crime is on the decline and will continue to decrease. Obrador has provided security for candidates running for the presidency, governor, and Congress, but has asked that local and state governments provide protection for those running for local posts.  His blasé response has provoked outrage, particularly due to the fact that local police are often in the pocket of the gangs that commit the violence. President-elect Sheinbaum, also of the Morena party, has vowed to continue Obrador’s policies concerning the violence, as she says that she supports his “hugs, not bullets” policy. Her opponent, the defeated Xóchitl Gálvez of the conservative National Action Party, has expressed disdain at this policy and was critical of the pervasive violence. After her defeat, Gálvez called Sheinbaum and said, “I saw a Mexico with a lot of pain and violence. I wished that she could solve the severe problems our people have.” During her presidency, Sheinbaum will have to face the extensive issue of organized crime and gang violence. The Biden administration has foolishly decided that Ukraine should be free to use missiles provided by the United States to hit targets deep inside Russian territory. In response, Dmitry Medvedev has warned that this could lead to a direct nuclear conflict between our two nations… Former Russian president Dmitry Medvedev has given his strongest warning that the invasion in Ukraine may end up in a nuclear disaster, after US president Joe Biden lifted restrictions on Ukraine using American weapons for direct attacks on Russian soil. Medvedev was president of Russia before, and he may be president again someday after Putin’s reign ends. And the Russians very clearly understand that whoever strikes first in a nuclear war has the best chance of surviving. So if there is a way out of this mess, our leaders should be trying to find it while they still can. Unfortunately, we are allowing the Ukrainians to provoke Russia in very alarming ways. This radar did not even look at the direction of Ukraine, which makes the strike an act of madness, or something sinister. However, it is one of the two motives that can be established for the strikes. Alas, we have to acknowledge its existence. The Ukrainians are losing the war, and they realize that the only way that they will be able to win it is to get NATO directly involved. So the Ukrainians are trying to provoke the Russians into doing something that will make that a reality. I don’t think that it will happen immediately, but a day could come when we see western troops dying on the killing fields of eastern Ukraine. Meanwhile, the war in the Middle East could go to the next level at any time. No matter how much noise we make, Joe Biden and his minions will not listen to us. With each passing day, they are dragging us even closer to an apocalyptic nuclear conflict. Durham also states that “the official who initially received the information IMMEDIATELY recognized its importance including its relevance to the U.S. presidential election- and ACTED QUICKLY to make CIA leadership aware of it.” It seems clear from this information alone that Brennan had the information before the FBI opened their investigation. Meanwhile, much deeper in Durham’s report – almost at the very end – Durham states that “FBI leadership [emphasis on Leadership] disregarded the Clinton Plan intelligence, which it received at almost the EXACT SAME TIME as the Australian Paragraph Five information.” The Paragraph Five information is the information the FBI received relating to Australian Diplomat Alexander Downer’s conversation with George Papadopoulos and was used as the fabricated basis or predicate for opening the Crossfire Hurricane investigation. Crucially, the Paragraph Five information was received by FBI Headquarters on July 28th. Furthermore, Durham notes that “at precisely the same time as the Clinton Plan intelligence was received (i) the Clinton campaign made public statements tying the DNC computer hack to Russian attempts to help Trump get elected, (ii) the FBI was receiving the Clinton campaign-funded Steele Reports, and (iii) the Clinton campaign-funded Alfa Bank allegations were being prepared for delivery to the media and the FBI.” ALL of these events – every single one – preceded the opening of Crossfire Hurricane on July 31, 2016. There are many more details, but the FBI wasn’t “fooled”. They were PART of the Clinton Plan. Acting at the direction of Brennan who had been given his marching orders — or at least a tacit go-ahead — from Obama.
