Whoopi Goldberg Desperate, Says She Doesn't Care if Biden 'Pooped His Pants' During Insane Segment

Do you know what we really didn't miss in the aftermath of President Joe Biden's debate debacle on June 27? Whoopi Goldberg's take. Yes, the first-among-equals on ABC's "The View" was taking a break from the show when the disaster happened. And who could blame her? After all, these debates...

Punished for Donating to Your Local Church?

Could you imagine getting punished for donating to your local church? It sounds CRAZY. And yet, I believe that is about to become our new reality. Because our gov’t has decided to digitalize the dollar. This means they’ll be able to track every single transaction you make. Tried to buy something our gov’t doesn’t approve of? “Transaction denied.” Said anything on social media that goes against gov’t propaganda? “Account frozen.” Those are very real possibilities once our gov’t rolls out a digital dollar. Because I believe our gov’t wants to control us. How we spend our money… How we spend our time… All the way down to our most personal and deeply held beliefs. And as a Pastor and an American, I’m telling you… This is the opposite of what being a Christian is about. Being a Christian is about letting go of control. And trusting in God and His Plan. This is why I cannot stand for this gov’t movement! I will not stand to have my bank account frozen. I will not live like a broke student in my golden years. And I will not fail to pay for my children’s education even though I’ve worked my whole life. I’ve found a way to secure my family’s future that the mainstream media has completely overlooked. This is how I’m planning to protect my money. Greyhound Undergoes C-Section At Vet — Meet Her Adorable Puppies!

Have you ever seen greyhound puppies? Well, thanks to Cross Lanes Veterinary Hospital, you’re in for a heaping dose of cute! One of their patients needed a C-section, and it was all hands on deck during the procedure. When this greyhound’s tiny puppies were finally delivered, the hospital decided to share an adorable video of the newborns on social media! This beautiful clip shows vets cleaning and caring for the little pups just after birth. It also captures a few other sweet moments, such as the greyhound puppies feeding from their mom. There are even some close-ups of these newborns’ teeny faces and paws. You won’t believe your eyes when you see just how small they were after birth! @crosslanesvet we love greyhound puppies #CapCut #veterinarian #vet #vetmed #CLVH #dog #csection #greyhound #laboranddelivery ♬ Theme From A Summer Place – Percy Faith Commenters were head-over-heels for these greyhound puppies. However, many pointed out how funny it is to see these typically long-nosed, wiry pooches as babies. These pups were so small, it’s hard to imagine how tall they’ll be when they grow up! “I always want to cry thinking about what my greyhound looked like as a puppy,” wrote one user. “Sweetest little babies ever and then they get pointy real fast.” “LITTLE STUMPY PUPPIES!!!!!!!” said another. “My family has two adult greyhounds so it’s so cool how they go from potatoes to sticks.” So, what do greyhound puppies look like as they begin to grow? One dog owner decided to share some then and now footage of their pooch. As you can see in the clips, this older greyhound puppy looks less like a little nugget and more like a small adult. Although the dog’s body is not fully formed at the beginning of the video, you can see the nose and legs starting to get longer. @attaboy_arthur What a year we had together #CapCut #2023recap #watchmypuppygrow #puppygrowth #puppiesoftiktok #puppy #greyhound #pets #dogtok #theoffice #nye2023 #nyecountdown #newyear #puppysfirstyear ♬ tolerate it eras Intro – Morgan Brook Music Well, one thing’s for sure. Greyhound puppies certainly change a lot as they grow, but they don’t get any less adorable! You can find the source of this story’s featured image here. When Did "American English" Emerge?

When Did "American English" Emerge?

Along with their attitude toward tipping waiters, variations in language are one of the biggest differences between Americans and Brits. Despite their overwhelming similarities, they still can’t agree on how to spell colour/color – and let's not even begin to discuss whether the world's most popular sport is called football or soccer. So, when did this slight linguistic gap emerge? The US officially became independent on July 4, 1776, when 13 American colonies cut their political ties to Great Britain. A break from British English didn't emerge with the signing of a document, though. American English was starting to surface decades before the Declaration of Independence was signed, back when the early American colonies were established in the 17th century and the two populations were separated by an ocean. Linguistic independence, so to speak, perhaps occurred before political independence. Much like the evolution of a new species, novel accents, dialects, and languages emerge over long periods of time when speakers of the same language become isolated from each other and small, subtle differences accumulate. Eventually, enough contrast builds up that the vernacular can be considered distinct. As such, there isn’t a black-and-white boundary between the language variation that we can ascribe to a specific year or decade. It’s more like a continuum; neither black nor white, but a series of grey/gray shades from light to dark. Furthermore, in the absence of audio recordings, it’s very hard to pinpoint exactly when American English became "a thing." However, there is evidence that English speakers noticed that the language had shifted “across the pond” around the late 17th and early 18th century. One of the earliest mentions of linguistic differences can be found in a 1699 travel book called A Trip to New-England by English writer Ned Ward. He writes: "Notwithstanding their sanctity, they [the New Englanders] are very profane in their common dialect.”American English was initially considered to be a sloppy, bastardized version of the original mother tongue, as is often the case with “new” accents and dialects. Along with changes in pronunciation and emphasis on syllables, American English rustled up new words and phrases, which also attracted scorn from "traditional" English speakers. In 1735, British geographer Francis Moore commented on how speakers of English in the “New World” had started to alter the language. While speaking about a town in Georgia, he observed: “It stands upon the flat of a Hill; the Bank of the River (which they in barbarous English call a bluff) is steep.”These changes had significantly built up by the time of the Declaration of Independence. One of the Founding Fathers who signed the sacred document, Scottish churchman John Witherspoon, was particularly aware of the language's reshaping – and he wasn’t a fan.“I have heard in this country, in the senate, at the bar, and from the pulpit, and see daily in dissertations from the press, errors in grammar, improprieties, and vulgarisms which hardly any person of the same class in point of rank and literature would have fallen into in Great Britain,” Witherspoon wrote in 1781, just five years after the declaration was signed. The differences became so profound that some thinkers suggested “American” would develop as its only distinct language, totally independent from English. Towards the end of the 18th century, Jonathan Boucher, an English clergyman and philologist living in Maryland, wrote: “Their language will become as independent of England, as they themselves are.”Clearly, that did not become a reality, and the language did not unfold into an entirely new entity. Nevertheless, the stigma surrounding American English still lingered for centuries to come.In 1995, Prince Charles (now King Charles) caused a kerfuffle when he made some snooty comments about the “very corrupting” influence of American English. He lamented: “[Americans] invent all sorts of nouns and verbs and make words that shouldn't be... We must act now to ensure that English –and that, to my way of thinking, means English English – maintains its position as the world language.”All “explainer” articles are confirmed by fact checkers to be correct at time of publishing. Hilarious: NPR's Folkenflik CHOKES on Comparison of Joe Scarborough to Hannity

It was a little shocking. NPR media reporter David Folkenflik came on Monday night's All Things Considered to talk about cable news, and it wasn't about his hate object Fox News, at least not directly. The subject was President Biden's phone interview with his buddies at MSNBC's Morning Joe. Even Folkenflik thought Scarborough was well, energetic in his obsequiousness: JOE SCARBOROUGH: Democrats, you believe, may now be doing the same thing that Donald Trump tried to do in 2020, and that is overthrow the popular will of Democratic voters. FOLKENFLIK: You know, I haven't heard even President Biden go that far, even as he's, you know, defiantly defending his right to run this race. It may be he was trying to channel Biden or advise him a little bit about some of the rhetoric there. As enjoyable as it may be to suggest Scarborough was more pro-Biden than Biden, this suggests Folkenflik didn't read Biden's letter to congressional Democrats on Monday, where he explicitly argued "We had a Democratic nomination process and the voters have spoken clearly and decisively...They have chosen me to be the nominee of the party. Do we now just say this process didn’t matter? That the voters don’t have a say?"  Democrats had a "nominating process" where the incumbent intimidated everyone who could plausibly challenge him, and where some state "Democratic" parties omitted challengers from the ballot. But this was the fun part -- NPR having to contemplate that Scarborough is so deeply embedded into the Biden camp that it evokes parallels to -- oh, God forbid! -- Fox News.  JUANA SUMMERS, anchor: You know, some people out there are making the argument that MSNBC and Scarborough are just a mirror image of Fox News for Republicans. Quickly, how fair is that? FOLKENFLIK: Well, you know, certainly, Joe Scarborough now serves as kind of a outside adviser in much the way that Sean Hannity does for President Trump. I would say two things. First, I would say it's definitely part of the Democratic firmament, and you had a couple of Biden administration aides who are now hosts on MSNBC. And at the same time, I would argue that perhaps because of NBC News being a corporate sibling, you know, it's a little bit more rooted in journalism. SUMMERS: Yeah. FOLKENFLIK: And it's more willing to admit interests against its own sympathies and rooting causes. This is hilarious. NBC, with Lester "Fairness Is Overrated" Holt, is being used to say Scarborough and Maddow and Joy Reid and Jen Psaki are "more rooted in journalism"? NPR liberals should really admit that they can't attack Fox News as uniquely partisan when the parallels have become unmistakable. Obviously, Fox News is hated because it underlines information that the Left wants to suppress. More "rooted in journalism" sounds like code for more rooted on Our Side, on the Left, and its avowed reverence for "facts," like the "fact" that America is deeply racist, and that capitalism is inherently unjust. That's what you get from government-funded radio and TV. Audio is below:

Blaze News original: Both sides besiege Biden as political firestorm roils his re-election bid

President Joe Biden's re-election bid is being roiled by a political firestorm following his widely panned debate performance, with some on the political right calling for his removal per the 25th Amendment and some on the political left calling for him to bow out of the presidential race — but the presumptive 2024 Democratic presidential nominee has adamantly declared that he will remain in the contest. The day after the debate, Republican Reps. Chip Roy of Texas and Clay Higgins of Louisiana put forward a resolution that urges Vice President Kamala Harris to seek to have Biden declared incapable of executing the duties of the presidency, per the 25th Amendment. 'I happen to think that the right thing here is actually the right political thing.' The text of the resolution declares that the House calls on Harris "to immediately use her powers under section 4 of the 25th Amendment to convene and mobilize the principal officers of the executive departments in the Cabinet to declare that President Joseph R. Biden is unable to discharge the duties and powers of the office," as well as "to transmit to the President pro tempore of the Senate and the Speaker of the House of Representatives notice that she will be immediately assuming the powers and duties of the office as Acting President." Biden, the oldest president in U.S. history, is already 81 years old and would be 86 by the end of a second term in office. While speaking to Blaze News, Roy suggested that the vice president, first lady, others, and likely many members of the Cabinet "are all complicit in ... a conspiracy to" conceal from Americans the president's "mental state." The conservative congressman told Blaze News that he thinks "the right thing here is actually the right political thing." He noted that he believes in doing what is right and letting "politics follow" but said "they align" in this case. GOP Sen. Mike Lee of Utah tweeted, "What the Constitution requires doesn't always align both with what is politically expedient and with what national security demands. It does here. @ChipRoyTX is right. We should call on Vice President Harris to invoke the 25th Amendment." — (@) Roy has even floated the idea of impeaching Biden, declaring in a post on X, "We should / would be on solid ground to impeach Joe Biden for lying to the American people about his supposed competence (perhaps we should consider that too)." In another post, the lawmaker suggested that the vice president "could be impeached for lying to America & covering up" and said, "The @HouseGOP should subpoena @KamalaHarris, Jill Biden, & key White House staff to determine when they knew that @JoeBiden is senile." Blaze Media's Daniel Horowitz told Blaze News that Republicans should refuse to fund the government until Biden is no longer in power. "This needs to be about the entire Democrat Party lying to the American people for four years, and the Chip resolution drives home that point. I would also add that Republicans would be wise to engage in a budget battle over this point and make it clear throughout the summer that they will not fund the budget until Biden steps down," Horowitz said, adding that "we cannot fund a government run by a man who can't walk, think, or talk, holding the nuclear football codes." Keith Malinak of BlazeTV's "Pat Gray Unleashed" also agrees that the 25th Amendment should be invoked. "Joe Biden is a case study on when the Cabinet should pursue removal of a president under the 25th Amendment. To think there is any question is what I find baffling," Malinak told Blaze News in a statement. "I appreciate Congressman Chip Roy for talking about this, but I'm doubtful the vice president will pursue this course until she has the assurances that party leadership and those actually calling the shots in this presidency will have her back in such an eventuality," he added. 'I am hopeful that he will make the painful and difficult decision to withdraw.' Some on the political left have suggested that the president should abandon his re-election bid. "I am hopeful that he will make the painful and difficult decision to withdraw. I respectfully call on him to do so," Democratic Rep. Lloyd Doggett of Texas said in a statement. "If he's the candidate, I'm going to support him, but I think that this is an opportunity to look elsewhere," Democratic Rep. Raúl Grijalva of Arizona said, according to the New York Times. "What he needs to do is shoulder the responsibility for keeping that seat — and part of that responsibility is to get out of this race." Democratic Rep. Seth Moulton of Massachusetts has said that Biden should "step aside to let new leaders rise up and run against Donald Trump," according to WBUR.org. Democratic Rep. Mike Quigley of Illinois suggested that to "prevent utter catastophe" Biden should "step down and let someone else do this." Democratic Rep. Angie Craig of Minnesota said in a statement, "Given what I saw and heard from the president during last week's debate in Atlanta, coupled with the lack of a forceful response from the president himself following that debate, I do not believe that the president can effectively campaign and win against Donald Trump." "I respectfully call on President Biden to step aside as the Democratic nominee for a second term as president and allow for a new generation of leaders to step forward," Craig declared. But not all Democratic lawmakers have soured on Biden's candidacy. Democratic Sen. John Fetterman of Pennsylvania has remained a stalwart supporter of the president's re-election bid. "I'm unwilling to discard a great president, a decent man and a loving father after 50 years in public service, over a 90 minute debate. Responding with disorder, panic and disloyalty is not meeting this moment," the senator said in a tweet. Some Democratic donors have also called for Biden to drop out. The New York Times reported that Abigail Disney said the president's campaign and committees backing it, including the Democratic National Committee, super PACs, and nonprofit organizations, "will not receive another dime from me until they bite the bullet and replace Biden at the top of the ticket." "Biden is unfortunately in denial about his mental state. He needs to step aside to let a vigorous Democratic leader beat Trump," Netflix CEO Reed Hastings declared, according to ABC News. Even the outlet's editorial board wrote a piece titled "To Serve His Country, President Biden Should Leave the Race." But Biden has said he will remain in the race. 'Let them live with the consequences of their own actions.' BlazeTV host Sara Gonzales has expressed the view that conservatives will benefit politically if Biden keeps running. "The greatest way to ensure a conservative victory in November is for Joe Biden to continue running. On top of that, every single Democrat now raising faux concerns about Biden's cognitive abilities knew exactly how bad he had gotten when they called us 'conspiracy theorists' and accused us of putting out deepfakes and 'cheapfakes' showing Biden's decline just weeks ago. Let them live with the consequences of their own actions. They insisted Joe is their guy. Who are we to prevent that from happening?" she wrote in a statement to Blaze News. But BlazeTV host Steve Deace believes Biden should be removed from office immediately. "We simply cannot have someone who couldn't pass a corporate management competency hearing, be certified to become a foster parent, or even obtain a driver's license be the one who is in possession of the nuclear codes. Full stop," Deace wrote in an opinion piece. "Yes, it is a hard pill to swallow, but it is an act of patriotic duty to remove Joe Biden from office right now. Because this is fundamentally about far more than one incapacitated man. It is about who we are called to be as a free people, and it may even be about our very survival." Like Blaze News? Our heaven

Just let me die now. Let this be heaven. The early afternoon when the sun hangs just above the trees. That summer air made hazy and yellow. The little breeze in the trees. Long shadows on the wall. This lazy world in sepia. Maybe if I die right now, at this very instant, this imprint of the world will become eternity and I won’t have to leave. I close my eyes, and the last thing I see is the state where I stay frozen like a Polaroid. This small house with all its problems. The old windows. The bad insulation. The pipe in the basement that overflows when you do laundry and dishes at the same time. The weeds in the front. The awful bathroom with the terrible wallpaper and the geriatric shower. The patchy grass in the back. One day, we will move to a bigger place. We will be happy for more room, greater convenience, and fewer problems. That’s why we will move. And as we drive down the street and away from this house, we will cry. We will talk about how this was the place we raised our kids when they were young. Behind us. That stupid f***ing white floor in the kitchen. Who in the world puts a white floor in the kitchen? A masochist. Do you have any idea how terrible it is to have a white floor in your kitchen with young children? We wash this floor every other day, and it is still disgusting. Whoever came up with this idea deserves life in prison. But this is where we were a family. This is where the kids were young. This is where we were exhausted after bringing a newborn back from the hospital. Where one kid ripped a towel rack off the wall by dangling from a towel. Another picked away the terrible wallpaper. Where one drew all over the closet with colored pencil while we were trying to get ready in the morning. Where the back yard was a filthy, muddy mess littered with way too many toys. How did they keep getting those toys out of the garage? The house where there was always fighting and then tears every night in the kids' room. It always meant one of us going back in there three or four times telling them to stay in bed until they finally gave up. The place where they still asked us every question like we knew every answer. The place where we were too tired and busy to realize how fast time was fading. It was speeding up. There isn’t going to be any other place that holds these memories. This sh**ty little house is it. This is the place we will remember. This is our heaven, but we don’t really know it.
