Kiev May Agree To Non-NATO Security Guarantees

by Mac Slavo, SHTF Plan: Currently, Ukraine has claimed that its main goal is to obtain meaningful security guarantees. President Trump And J.D. Vance Issue Statements Following Mass Casualty Event In New Orleans

President Trump called the mass casualty event in New Orleans early New Year’s Day an “act of pure evil.” “When I said that the criminals coming in are far worse than the criminals we have in our country, that statement was constantly refuted by Democrats and the Fake News Media, but it turned out to be true. The crime rate in our country is at a level that nobody has ever seen before. Our hearts are with all of the innocent victims and their loved ones, including the brave officers of the New Orleans Police Department,” Trump said Wednesday morning. “The Trump Administration will fully support the City of New Orleans as they investigate and recover from this act of pure evil!” he added. The suspect died after a shootout with police. Per Fox News: Fox News has learned that the truck used in the attack had a Texas license plate, and that it was tracked crossing the southern border into the U.S. at Eagle Pass, Texas, on November 16. It has not been confirmed that the attacker was driving the vehicle when it crossed the border. Police have also not confirmed the attacker’s immigration status. The identification of the driver who crossed the border does not appear to be the shooter, the sources said. BREAKING: FBI says New Orleans attack that left 10 dead, dozens injured is being investigated as an act of terrorism pic.twitter.com/lD4vwBhBCx — Benny Johnson (@bennyjohnson) January 1, 2025 From the New York Post: The FBI is investigating a bloody New Year’s truck rampage on New Orleans‘ iconic Bourbon Street as an act of terrorism — and have confirmed the driver of the pickup who killed at least 10 people and injured dozens more is dead. “This morning, an individual drove a car into a crowd of people on Bourbon Street in New Orleans, killing a number of people and injuring dozens of others. The subject then engaged with local law enforcement and is now deceased,” The FBI said in a statement. “We are working with our partners to investigate this as an act of terrorism,” the bureau added. The still-unidentified killer ploughed a Ford pickup truck into a crowd of New Year’s revelers in the heart of the city around 3:15 a.m., leaving what witnesses described as a trail of “twisted” and “horribly disfigured” bodies in its wake. After the truck — which was trailing a piece of black fabric — crashed into a crane blocking Bourbon Street, the killer engaged police in a firefight and was shot dead. Two officers were wounded in the shootout, but are in stable condition, officials said. At least 35 people were injured, while the FBI said “improvised explosive devices” were found in the car, suggesting the carnage could have been even worse if law enforcement hadn’t stopped the killer.

Vehicle Manufacturer Recalls Thousands Of Electric Trucks

Ford has recalled thousands of 2023-2024 electric trucks due to increased crash risk. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) announced the vehicle manufacturer is recalling nearly 12,000 2023-2024 Ford F-150 Lightning BEVs. An improperly torqued nut on the ball joint can result in separation of the front upper control arm from the knuckle assembly, the NHTSA said. “If the upper control arm ball joint nut is loose or missing, the front upper control arm can separate from the knuckle assembly, which can cause the driver to experience a partial loss of directional control, increasing a risk of a crash,” it added. Recall Alert 2023-2024 Ford F-150 Lightning BEV vehicles. Recalled for loss of steering from front control arm separation.https://t.co/EAYLKnQZ9g — NHTSA Recalls & Ratings (@NHTSArecalls) December 26, 2024 The Hill reports: Consumers are told that dealers will inspect the upper arm control arm ball joint nut, and replace the nut and/or knuckle assembly as necessary free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed on Feb. 3, 2025. Consumers with questions can contact Ford customer service at 1-866-436-7332. The Ford recall number is 24S76. “The nut on the upper control arm ball joint may not have achieved the correct torque due to variation in the alignment or orientation between the fastening tool and the fastener that may have induced lateral forces on the tool, preventing it from properly seating on the fastener,” the NHTSA stated. “If the ball joint nut is loose or missing, the driver may experience vehicle vibration and hear a clunk or rattle noise during suspension jounce and rebound,” it added. A manufacturing mistake can possibly lead to a loss of steering on Ford's popular F-150 EV truck. https://t.co/kzWUURBGBA And now Ford is recalling 12,000 2023 and 2024 F-150 Lightning BEV trucks because they can potentially lose their steering. The company plans to notify owners by mail starting February 3, 2025. Read the full recall alert HERE.
