A dominant lead from the beginning The United States team, made up of Regan Smith, Lilly King, Gretchen Walsh, and Torri Huske, seized possession of the race from the start. The Americans finished almost three seconds ahead of the Australian team, which grabbed silver, while the Chinese team won bronze.
