One of President Donald Trump’s second-term priorities has been enacting policies aimed at protecting females from trans-identifying males seeking to invade gender-segregated spaces like locker rooms and sports teams. Just days after his inauguration, he also signed an executive order restricting the military service of transgender individuals. District Court Judge Ana Reyes prior political donations and activities have only increased the outrage among supporters of the Trump administration: According to Federal Election Commission (FEC) records, Reyes has collectively given thousands of dollars to various Democrat candidates and causes throughout her professional career. During her time working as a private lawyer, she donated to the presidential campaigns of Barack Obama (2012), Hillary Clinton (2008 and 2016), Kamala Harris (2020), and Joe Biden (2020). She’s additionally shelled out money to several Democrat House and Senate candidates, including the campaigns of Sen. Jon Ossoff, D-Ga., and Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y. Reyes’ financial support for Democrats also extends to left-wing political action committees. From 2021-2022, she gave more than $1,700 to Defeat by Tweet, which is “a Democratic-aligned super PAC that allows liberal donors to sign up to contribute as little as 1 cent to political organizers in battleground states for each time President Donald Trump posts to Twitter,” according to InfluenceWatch. The organization was reportedly launched with assistance from Patrisse Cullors, a co-founder of Black Lives Matter. According to its website, Defeat by Tweet has closed its operations since the 2024 election, with the group reallocating its “final resources and support” to Black Church PAC. The latter organization seeks to “mobiliz[e] churches and leaders nationwide to reclaim political power, fight [so-called] voter suppression, end mass incarceration, and heal communities impacted by gun violence.” In 2020, Reyes gave numerous donations to Win the Era, a political action committee founded by failed 2020 presidential candidate and later Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg. Since at least 2013, Reyes has also given dozens of small-dollar donations to ActBlue, a Democrat-aligned fundraising platform that is the subject of congressional and state investigations over allegations that it allowed unlawful foreign monies to fund left-wing political causes. As The Hill reported at the time: President Biden has nominated another slate of federal judicial judges, and this time, if confirmed, the U.S. could have its first Hispanic woman to ever serve on a U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia and the court’s first openly LGBTQ person. Biden introduced his 17th round of nominees for federal judicial positions this week and his fifth slate of nominations this year alone to fill judicial vacancies. To date, the president has announced 95 federal judicial nominees. Of his latest round of nominees, Ana C. Reyes stands to make history. She’s currently a partner at the Washington, D.C., law firm Williams & Connolly LLP, where she’s worked since 2001. She focuses on cross-border litigation and international arbitration, while also taking on pro bono work to represent asylum seekers and refugee organizations. Reyes herself is an immigrant, born in Uruguay and moved to Louisville, Ky. According to the White House, Reyes is also openly LGBTQ, and, if confirmed to the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia, she would be the first one in history to ever serve on that court. Top Planned Parenthood executives are paid three times more than the average non-profit chief executive officer, according to a new watchdog report on the abortion giant and its affiliates. The American Life League on Thursday revealed that Planned Parenthood CEOs have seen their incomes significantly increase in the last few years, even as many of the group’s facilities face financial problems. The average salary of a Planned Parenthood CEO increased from $317,564 to $352,661 — an 11% increase — between 2020 and 2023, according to tax forms analyzed by the American Life League.  “Planned Parenthood’s CEOs and its New York headquarters employees continue to see substantial increases in their salaries, even as the organization as a whole claims financial decline,” the report, first shared with The Daily Wire, found.  Poring through the most recent non-profit financial filings available, the American Life League found that the average CEO of a Planned Parenthood affiliate is paid much more than the average American non-profit CEO “In the US, the average salary for a nonprofit CEO is roughly $117,000 a year. Planned Parenthood more than triples that with an average annual CEO salary of $352,661,” the report says. “It is extremely clear that Planned Parenthood’s priority is money and the ability to funnel that money back into the pockets of its own CEOs.” The most recent yearly compensation of Alexis McGill Johnson, the president of the Planned Parenthood Federation of America, was $904,014, a 32% increase since 2021, according to the American Life League.  The report also featured the top 20 Planned Parenthood affiliates by their income and CEO compensation. At the top were affiliates in Los Angeles, Mar Monte, the Pacific Northwest, Orange and San Bernardino Counties, and Greater New York. Additionally, it ranked the top 10 Planned Parenthood affiliate CEOs by income.  American Life League Planned Parenthood has received hundreds of millions in taxpayer dollars. According to its most recent annual report, Planned Parenthood received around $699.3 million in federal funding in 2022-2023. That is about 34% of the organization’s annual revenue.  “Planned Parenthood continues to grow tremendously wealthy, and taxpayers should be outraged at the nearly $700,000,000 given by our government to Planned Parenthood during this last fiscal year,” the report said. “Abortion remains Planned Parenthood’s main priority, and it admits to murdering at least 392,715 preborn children in the 2022–2023 fiscal year. American Life League Researcher ​​Katherine Van Dyke, who said that it was “staggering” how much the abortion execs were being paid, told The Daily Wire that she would like to see President Donald Trump cut the funding through his Department of Government Efficiency efforts.   “We would like to see them defunded,” she said. “We would like people to see from these numbers, we want Americans to know that this is what your taxpayer money is going toward.”
