‘Pro-Palestinian’ Protest Slogans and Symbols: A Guide for the Perplexed

Terrorist-supporting students and their off-campus allies took over yet another building at Barnard College in New York on Wednesday. The protesters blocked students from attending class, disrupted students studying in the library, and lynched Barnard’s president in effigy. As midterm exams approach and protest season comes into full swing, it’s an opportune time to explain what the supposedly “pro-Palestinian” protesters mean with their slogans and symbols, like the red-hand pin. They are a lot more sinister than the legacy media or sympathetic politicians would have you believe. Sometimes protesters’ support for terrorism is clear and open, such as the flyers they distributed at Barnard glorifying Hassan Nasrallah, the late leader of the terrorist group Hezbollah, a U.S.-designated terrorist organization infamous for bombing the U.S. embassy and Army barracks in Beirut, Lebanon. Or when they distributed pamphlets praising the so-called “Operation Al-Aqsa Flood,” which was the Hamas-led attack on Israel on Oct. 7, 2023, where terrorists slaughtered 1,200 Israelis, gang-raped women, and took hundreds of hostages, including babies and elderly Holocaust survivors. BREAKING: Barnard students who took over the library are now distributing images of slain Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah and Hamas pamphlets on the Oct. 7 massacre.Instead of arresting or expelling them, the administration is making concessions. Absolutely disgusting. pic.twitter.com/2sqQIV1hzj— Eyal Yakoby (@EYakoby) March 5, 2025 This pamphlet describes Hamas’s October 7th massacre as a “moral victory.”@ColumbiaBDS is disseminating terrorist propaganda.@EdWorkforceCmte @TheJusticeDept @TheLeoTerrell pic.twitter.com/i9TyG6lPES— Shoshana Aufzien?? (@shoshanaaufzien) March 6, 2025 But in other cases, their support for terrorism is more obscure. Demonstrations at college campuses nationwide frequently feature a variety of slogans that, on the surface, may seem to simply advocate for Palestinian rights and self-determination. However, even a cursory look just below the surface into the origins and meanings of these chants reveals more insidious, violent, and even terroristic intent. Here are some of the most common slogans and symbols and what they signify: ‘Globalize the Intifada’ The term “intifada” refers to Palestinian terror campaigns against Israel, particularly the First and Second Intifadas (1987-1993 and 2000-2005), as well as the more recent Knife Intifada (2015-2016). These terror campaigns included widespread acts of violence targeting civilians, including bombings of buses, pizza parlors, and nightclubs, as well as stabbings, shootings, and car-ramming attacks. The Palestinian terrorists murdered hundreds of civilians and injured thousands more. Calling to “globalize the intifada” is a call for similar acts of terrorism against Jewish communities outside of Israel, such as the recent jihadist “Jew hunt” of Jewish and Israeli soccer fans in Amsterdam; the mob of jihadists in Dagestan looking to lynch Jews aboard an Israeli flight that landed at the Makhachkala Uytash Airport; nurses publicly declaring that they have murdered Jewish patients and would do so again; the stabbing of an Orthodox Jew in Brooklyn by a man shouting “Free Palestine;” assaults of Jewish students on college campuses; and the arson of synagogues and other Jewish institutions in Australia, Canada, France, Spain, Florida, Pennsylvania, and elsewhere—all since Oct. 7, 2023. This slogan normalizes terrorism and encourages attacks against Jewish individuals and institutions worldwide—but it won’t stop with the Jews. Europe is already experiencing a low-grade intifada, including: A mass-stabbing attack against preschoolers in a park in Aschaffenburg, Germany, by an Afghan migrant. He murdered a 2-year-old toddler and a 41-year-old man who had tried to intervene. A mass-stabbing attack in Austria by a Syrian man with ties to ISIS, resulting in the murder of a 14-year-old boy and injuries to five others. A mass-stabbing attack in France by an Algerian shouting “Allahu akbar” who murdered a 69-year-old man and injured five police officers. A stabbing where a 19-year-old Syrian man nearly killed a Spanish tourist with a knife at the Holocaust Museum in Berlin. A car-ramming attack in Munich by an Afghan with “an Islamist orientation” that injured at least 36 civilians. It’s worth noting that all the terrorist attacks listed above occurred just since Jan. 1 and do not necessarily represent a comprehensive list. Same old, same old. Globalize the intifada at Columbia University! pic.twitter.com/Wv9XauRCri— Eliana Goldin (@Eliana_Goldin) March 6, 2025 ‘There Is Only One Solution: Intifada Revolution’ If it appears that this common protest slogan bears a chilling resemblance to the Nazi’s genocidal “Final Solution,” it’s because that is its inspiration. Here is what I wrote about this back in 2023: The phrase “there is only one solution” is adapted from Article 13 of the Hamas Covenant of 1988: “There is no solution for the Palestinian question except through Jihad.” The same covenant explains that “it is possible for the followers of the three religions—Islam, Christianity and Judaism—to coexist in peace and quiet with each other,” but that this state of peace “would not be possible except under the wing of Islam.” In other words, Hamas believes that there can only be peace with Jews and Christians if they are under the thumb of the caliphate. Hamas inherited this phrase from Haj Amin al-Husseini, the grand mufti of Jerusalem, who worked closely with the Muslim Brotherhood from which Hamas developed. Husseini lived in Nazi Germany from 1941 to 1945, where he aided the Nazi war effort by, among other things, broadcasting Nazi propaganda to the Arab world. … Husseini’s admiration for Hitler’s “Final Solution” to eliminate the Jewish people became the “no solution … except jihad” of Hamas, which seeks to eliminate the Jewish state and all the Jews living in it. The historical connotation and the emphasis on “one solution” is not only an endorsement of mass violence against Jews in Israel, but also a rejection of any peaceful means of achieving Hamas’ political goals. Given that previous intifadas resulted in the deaths of thousands, this slogan signals a willingness to embrace similar or even escalated levels of bloodshed. BREAKING: NYPD have arrived and are clearing the protestors from the building at Barnard: pic.twitter.com/NuP9gbRRqF— Steve McGuire (@sfmcguire79) March 5, 2025 ‘From the River to the Sea, Palestine Will Be Free’ At first glance, this phrase appears to be merely a call for Palestinian freedom. However, the geographic reference is clear: The “river” is the Jordan River, and the “sea” is the Mediterranean Sea—the eastern and western borders of the state of Israel. Columbia student, Maryam Alwan, an organizer with the pro-terror student group SJP, would like you believe that "From the River to the Sea" is a call for equality. pic.twitter.com/dcECGE0O3N— Canary Mission (@canarymission) March 6, 2025 The slogan is, therefore, a call for the complete elimination of the world’s only Jewish state and its replacement with a second Palestinian state (Jordan being the first, as its population is majority Palestinian and its territory encompasses a majority of the land that once comprised the British Mandate for Palestine). Tellingly, the rhyming chant in Arabic is “Min al maya la-al’maya, Filisteen Arabiya” or “From water to water, Palestine will be Arab.” Cat is out of the bag: dozens of Students for Justice in Palestine chant “From the river to the sea Palestine will be Arab” & other horrible chants about the “Yahood” (Jews)Thanks @Columbia for closing the gates & making sure outside actors don’t show up@StopAntisemites pic.twitter.com/M6sOwXxdLe— Gil Zussman (@gil_zussman) February 8, 2024 Inverted Red Triangles Several common symbols at anti-Israel rallies center around the Palestinian flag, including the watermelon, which shares its colors. But one such symbol—the inverted red triangle—can have a more sinister implication. As the Middle East Media Research Institute observed, “The inverted red triangle … first appeared in videos of the fighting in Gaza published by Hamas’ military wing, where it is used to mark Israeli military targets, such as soldiers, tanks, and bulldozers, about to be attacked.” The symbol is used by anti-Israel activists to identify individuals or institutions to target for harassment or even violence. BREAKING: Palestine Action US has posted a disturbing video placing the inverted red triangle over AIPAC’s DC office and reporting that it was vandalized last night with red paint and dog feces. pic.twitter.com/A63wx2t16K— Steve McGuire (@sfmcguire79) August 26, 2024 The Red-Hand Pin Worn at last year’s Oscars ceremony by birdbrained celebrities such as Billie Eilish and Mark Ruffalo, the red-hand pin recalls the infamous lynching of two Israelis by a bloodthirsty mob of Palestinians in 2000 in Ramallah, a city north of Jerusalem controlled by the Palestinian Authority. After the two Israeli army reservists made a wrong turn and ended up in Ramallah, they were taken into custody by Palestinian Authority police officers. Soon thereafter, rumors spread that there were Israelis at the police station, and about 1,000 Palestinians broke in and murdered them then waved their bloody hands before a cheering crowd outside the station. As Fox News reported: One of the soldiers’ wives listened by cellphone after a Palestinian butcher answered the victim’s phone and told her, “We are now slaughtering your husband.” One particular image from the carnage became infamous when one of the killers, Aziz Salha, waved his bloodied hands to the crowd from the police station’s window after dozens broke in. Salha later explained that the Palestinians present were “in a craze to see blood.” As he waved his hands, the Palestinian mob cheered: “Allahu akbar,” which means “God is great” in Arabic. “I came closer to him and saw a knife lodged in his back, near his right shoulder. I removed the knife and stabbed him in the back two or three times … while others in the room continued to kick him. I put my hand over his mouth and the other on his shoulder, in order to strangle him.” “I saw that my hands were drenched with blood, and so was my shirt,” Salha continued. “So, I went over to the window and I waved my hands at the people who were in the courtyard.” The mob then threw the bodies out of the station and desecrated them. Salha’s bloody hands instantly became one of the most recognizable symbols of the Second Intifada. The best that can be said for the useful idiots who wear the symbol on the red carpet or on college campuses is that they might not be aware of its awful history. The infamous Palestinian lynching of Jews in Ramallah. When two Jews end up in a Palestinian neighbourhood, they got their hearts ripped from their bodies and Palestinians celebrated.Celebrities that wear the Red Palm / Heart pin badge are celebrating the slaughter of Jews. pic.twitter.com/a43j7QcngD— Kosher?? (@koshercockney) March 3, 2025 While many self-declared “pro-Palestine” activists claim to be advocating for human rights and justice, the slogans they chant and symbols they use reveal a much darker ideology. As Cornell University student leader Momodou Taal said last year before a cheering crowd of student protesters, “We take our cue from the armed resistance in Palestine.” In other words: Hamas. I prefer when they say the quiet part out loud. pic.twitter.com/X4gg93NWWR— AG (@AGHamilton29) March 6, 2025 These phrases are not just calls for Palestinian self-determination—they endorse violence, terrorism, and the eradication of Israel. Were they directed at any other group on college campuses—or anywhere else—university officials would instantly recognize that they constitute harassment and incitement to violence. Their failure to recognize it and act accordingly is an invitation for the Trump administration to investigate and sanction those universities and to deport the foreign supporters of terrorism who are here on student visas. ?SUSPECTED FOREIGN NATIONAL ALERT?Mahmoud Khalil, allegedly from Syria, is a grad student at Columbia. Khalil appeared to be the lead negotiator for the Barnard College library occupation yesterday. Trump to Sign Order Modifying Student Loan Forgiveness Program for Federal Employees

President Donald Trump will sign an executive order Friday afternoon modifying the Public Service Loan Forgiveness Program to exclude organizations involved in illegal activities, a White House official said. The program allows government workers and employees of nonprofits to erase their student loan balance after 10 years of monthly payments. The problem with the program is that some of the people eligible for loan forgiveness engage in “improper activities,” such as supporting illegal immigration, foreign terrorist organizations, or other lawbreaking activities, according to White House Staff Secretary Will Scharf. “This executive order will direct your Department of Education and Department of the Treasury to basically bring about modifications to the Public Service Loan Forgiveness Program in order to ensure that people who are engaged in these sorts of activities can’t benefit from a program that’s really not intended to support those sorts of things,” Scharf said. “This is a program that’s designed to expedite the conclusion of payments on student loans for people who have taken federally backed student loans,” he said. The program was used to erase the debts of only 7,000 people prior to the presidency of Joe Biden, but as of October, it had forgiven the debts of more than 1 million federal or nonprofit employees. Trump is schedule to sign at least two executive orders in the Oval Office at 2:30 p.m. on Friday. The Sanctimony of ‘Sanctuary’ Cities: The BorderLine

The Sanctimony of ‘Sanctuary’ Cities: The BorderLine

The mayors of Boston, Chicago, Denver, and New York were grilled at a House Oversight Committee hearing on Wednesday over their “sanctuary” policies that encourage illegal immigrants to live in their cities, obtain certain government benefits, and remain in the U.S. illegally. Ideally, a hearing would see members of Congress asking questions of witnesses who can shed light on a topic for oversight purposes or to better inform them in drafting laws. Everyone would leave a little wiser. Maybe once in a while, someone would change his mind on an issue. Sadly, that scenario is as accurate as the “Schoolhouse Rock” videos I watched in the 1970s between Saturday morning cartoons. This hearing clocked in at well over six hours, so I shall try to extract the biggest themes and lessons. First, one has to tune out the noise, which takes several forms, like these: Sanctimonious speeches: Some members of Congress use all or most of their allotted five minutes to make political speeches and ask no questions. Pitching softballs: Other members ask leading questions that let their side’s witnesses make their whole speech for them. For example:Mr. Witness who agrees with me, just how bad is this thing that I’m against? Or Ms. Witness who agrees with me, just how good is this thing that I support? The rapid-fire round: Some members like to ask a series of quick questions with only “yes” or “no” as acceptable answers. This is like a game show—with no prizes.   Irrelevant line of inquiry: In this hearing, several members (notably Reps. Jasmine Crockett, D-Texas, and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y.) tried to trap New York Mayor Eric Adams into either pleading the Fifth Amendment or admitting that he made a deal with the Department of Justice to drop bribery charges against him in exchange for his helping Immigration and Customs Enforcement with, well, immigration enforcement. Adams, well lawyered-up, didn’t let them land the punch. Playing for extra time: Members can enter documents into the hearing record by “unanimous consent.” So, just by reading the title of a newspaper or magazine article and a long subheading that makes a point they want to make, members can score partisan political points without using their limited time. For example, Crockett scored a rare three-pointer using this technique by entering an irrelevant article from USAFacts.org stating that Kentucky ranks third highest among states for relying on federal funding (this was a dig at committee Chairman James Comer, R-Ky.) Rep. Ayanna Pressley, D-Mass., succeeded twice at this game, but Comer erupted in rare irritation at her third attempt. NEW: The city of Denver has released video showing ICE chasing down & arresting a suspected Tren de Aragua gang member who had just been released from jail after Denver refused to hand him over to ICE inside the safety of facility due to sanctuary policy. Instead, he was street… pic.twitter.com/SbeaeNrjAJ— Bill Melugin (@BillMelugin_) March 5, 2025 So, leaving out all that noise and more, what were the actual issues in play? The main questions were, first, whether these blue city mayors distinguish in any way between the rights and privileges of their American citizen voters and those afforded to illegal immigrants. The answer seems to be no in terms of housing, jobs, schools, health care, and more. The mayors then all pleaded for “comprehensive immigration reform.” When used by elected Democrats, this means amnesty for those here illegally and expanded “legal pathways” for more to get here through mass migration. The second question was whether these cities should—or will—assist the federal government to enforce immigration law. To that, the response was hedged: They will, grudgingly, for serious criminal offenses. But on routine immigration enforcement, they will do little or nothing. All the mayors said they cooperated with Immigration and Customs Enforcement when illegal immigrants had criminal warrants. But Boston’s Trust Act, Chicago’s Welcoming [read “sanctuary”] City Ordinance, and Denver’s Public Safety Enforcement Priorities are policies that limit the information local police officers can share with ICE. For example, Denver police are not allowed to hand over aliens to ICE inside jail premises. Recently, ICE had to send six agents to pick up just one Tren de Aragua gangster in an adjacent parking lot where the alien assaulted and bit one agent during the handoff. Incredibly, I didn’t hear mention of HR. 32, the No Bailout for Sanctuary Cities Act proposed by Republican Rep. Nick LaLota of New York, until six hours into the hearing. The act would prevent certain federal funds from going to cities that have sanctuary policies. But that’s the bottom line: If blue cities want to continue with policies that resist federal enforcement of immigration law, they might have to ask their voters to pay for it, not Uncle Sam and the rest of the country’s taxpayers. At the end of the hearing circus, no one’s mind was changed. Well-prepared at taxpayer expense (Boston Mayor Michelle Wu alone spent $650,000 on legal advice), the mayors ducked and dodged the blame for the illegal immigration wave of the past few years. (Though, I’ll bet they were quietly grateful to President Donald Trump for ending it before their own besieged and bankrupted cities’ voters turned on them). Members of Congress will have clips of their performances for social media. Some—notably Reps. Brian Jack, R-Ga., and Gabe Evans, R-Colo.—distinguished themselves as dignified, informed questioners. Several members brought up the supremacy clause of the Constitution, by which federal law trumps state and local laws if there is a conflict. But this hearing made it clear that sanctuary jurisdictions will continue to push that line to the limit to subvert immigration law enforcement. At least three of the sanctuary city mayors will go back to business as usual—as long as their electorates will let them. The challenge for New York’s Adams, meanwhile, is to increase cooperation with the feds—because his city is simply overwhelmed—while still maintaining illegal immigrant-friendly local laws and politics.  The BorderLine is a weekly Daily Signal feature examining everything from the unprecedented illegal immigration crisis at the border to immigration’s impact on cities and states throughout the land. Venison Deer Jerky Recipe | DIY Jerky Recipes

Want to learn how to turn your venison (that's deer meat if you were wondering) into jerky? This venison jerky recipe is so delicious, I remember snacking on it as a kid on road trips. Learn to make it yourself here. It's so easy, I'm sure you'll start stocking so you'll have something to munch on any time.   Venison Jerky Recipe | DIY Jerky Recipes This recipe is an adaptation of DIY Ready's How to Make Beef Jerky. What comes to mind when you think of jerky? Beef right? What if I tell you you can also make jerky from venison? Yes, you heard it right. Make homemade jerky not just from the usual beef but from deer's meat too. It's the same process and I'm sure it's something you'll enjoy making and eating. So continue scrolling and let's begin! Did you know that venison is one of the healthiest meats you can eat? Click here to learn why! Step 1. Select meat You will need to use lean meat for your jerky. When purchasing your meat, it is best to tell your butcher what you are doing (which is making jerky, of course) so that he will know what you need. If you hunted this animal yourself, be sure to use all the meat you can through different methods of cooking. No part of the game animal should ever go to waste.   Step 2. Trim your meat Using a sharp knife, cut out any large, visible portions of fat.   Step 3. Partially freeze meat Place meat in the freezer for a few minutes. Partially freezing the meat will will make it easier to slice.   Step 4. Cut the meat Slice the meat into strips about the size of your index finger. The finished jerky ends up being about 1/3 the size of what you started with.   Step 5. Mix your marinade The great thing about making jerky is that you can decide what kind of jerky you want. You can use our jerky marinades and give it a little twist or you can make your own from scratch. Check out our different marinade recipes here.   Check out the health benefits of venison, a nutritious type of deer meat! https://t.co/iNZBTSMq4r pic.twitter.com/0gjVyVHaIP — Homesteading (@HomesteadingUSA) July 14, 2016   Step 6. Marinade meat in resealable bag Place marinade and meat inside a ziploc type of bag and lete it sit for at least 4 hours. For best results, leave the meat in the marinade overnight.   Step 7. Line oven with foil and arrange the meat in the oven rack   Arrange meat strips so that they do not touch one another.   Step 8. Cook your jerky! There are two methods for making venison jerky and you can choose whichever you feel most comfortable with.   Method A: Make Jerky In An Oven Set oven to 200 degrees and arrange meat in the oven rack. Place a little vent in the oven door to allow moisture to escape. Cook meat for 7 hours. How to check for doneness: Check for  doneness at the 7 hour point. The meat is done once the jerky bends like a green twig. Otherwise, you need to keep cooking until it does. Getting this right is crucial if you want your jerky to last long. The rule of thumb is the drier your meat is, the longer it will store.   Method B: Use a Dehydrator St the oven to 200 degrees and cook meat in the oven just like you would in method A, but instead of cooking for 7 hours do so for only an hour. Then remove meat from oven and place in dehydrator. Dry meat for at least 10 hours.   Step 9. Remove jerky and cool Let your jerky cool for at least an hour before you package it.   Step 10. Package and seal It is important to package your meat for longer shelf life. You can use an airtight container like a ziploc bag or  an airtight resealable plastic container. But if you to preserve your meat as long as possible, use a vacuum sealer. You can check out our tutorial on how to use a vacuum sealer here.   You think you've tried something new with this venison jerky, wait till you try this salmon jerky from Mobile Home Gourmet:   Wasn't that easy? Are you going to make this venison jerky recipe for you and your family? Let me know below in the comments! Darcy MELTS DOWN Over ‘Dishonest,’ ‘Insidious’ Scott Jennings Getting New CNN Contract

Former CNN media reporter Oliver Darcy used his far-left newsletter site Status on Thursday night to suffer a weapons-grade meltdown over rumors that our friend and CNN senior political commentator Scott Jennings — perhaps the best current articulator of conservative principles — was not only close to a new contract to stay with CNN, but “receive a substantial pay increase” despite being a “dishonest,” “insidious” man that “distorts” and “fabricates reality.” Darcy started by whining “MAGA pundit Scott Jennings has been busy” with “quite favorable” contract talks and “reliably excusing Donald Trump’s appalling behavior” with the former yielding “a substantial pay increase” although Darcy made it seem like having his own show won’t be happening. The conservative media turncoat never pointed out (and it’s doubtful he ever would) that Jennings’s appearances become rare-instances for political junkies in which CNN becomes must-see TV. In fact, it’s not uncommon for tweets of Jennings pull more viewers on X than actual Nielson ratings viewers. Nonetheless, Darcy framed Jennings remaining at CNN as an affront to the state of corporate media with recent layoffs having hit CNN plus ABC and NBC. “The message from executives...has been clear: budgets are tight and talent are expendable. Pay raises are now an anomaly...making Jennings’ deal all the more striking. While journalists are being told to do more with less, CNN is choosing to invest handsomely in a MAGA pundit,” he whined. Darcy — who views conservatives as if we’re dangerous, disease-ridden scum — voiced dismay some network executives still believe in “hav[ing] voices that represent the MAGA movement,” and engage in “‘both-sides’ commentary.” Darcy’s idea of fairness? He suggested CNN follow MSNBC in only having “traditional ‘Never Trump’ conservatives Nicolle Wallace or Joe Scarborough” represent non-Democrats (even though they’re just as blue as their colleagues). Acting as though it’s repugnant to have voices that run the gambit of the political spectrum, Darcy unleashed in grossly personal terms against Jennings, calling him an “insidious” man who “distorts” facts in a “slick” manner in supporting “Trump’s assault on democracy”and “authoritarian rhetoric”: What makes Jennings particularly effective—and insidious—is that he doesn’t resort to outright lies when making his case. Instead, he operates in a slick gray area, using rhetorical sleight of hand to defend Trump at every turn. He misdirects, cherry-picks, and strategically omits key facts. He doesn’t fabricate reality; he distorts it. It’s a skill that makes him more palatable to mainstream audiences than some of the more unhinged, election-denying figures who dominate MAGA Media. And it’s precisely why CNN finds him so useful. Honest people, however, don’t defend dishonest behavior. Yet, that’s exactly what Jennings does, night after night—and it is now what CNN will pay him to do more of. Whether it’s downplaying Trump’s assault on democracy, deflecting from his legal troubles, or framing his authoritarian rhetoric as mere political theater, Jennings consistently provides a veneer of respectability to a dangerous anti-truth movement. He offers CNN the illusion of “balance” while reinforcing Republican narratives that erode trust in democratic institutions. Darcy insisted this was an either-or scenario, positing Jennings was allowed to still have a voice even though “CNN journalists have lost their jobs and continue to see their salaries trimmed” despite their “fact-based reporting[.]”

Call to Violence? Hostin Huffs Dems Not Willing to ‘Fight and Die’ for Rights Like Older Gens

The rhetoric coming from Disney, ABC News, and The View was very dark and very dangerous during Friday’s pre-recorded episode. Staunchly racist co-host, Sunny Hostin lashed out Democrats and accused them of “not meeting the moment” to oppose the “existential crisis” that was President Trump. In an apparent call to violence, she demanded that they learn from older generations and be “willing to fight and die for their rights!” Hostin’s wrath was triggered by the 10 Democrats who joined with Republicans in the bipartisan censure of Texas Representative Al Green (D) for his disruption of Trump’s address to Congress. Passing along a list of their names to moderator Joy Behar, Hostin demanded that their names be read “Because they don't know how to fight and be part of an opposition party.” She started shouting about how “Green gave them the example” and that “Democrats are not meeting the moment.” She went on to shout – without evidence – that it was “clear” Trump was going to kill people. She wanted Democrats to be like older generations who “knew what they had to do” and were “willing to fight and die for their rights”: It is very clear that Medicaid is on the table. It is very clear that Social Security is on the table. It is very clear that people will die! The baby boomers, the civil rights generation, they knew what they had to do! They were willing to fight and die for their rights! This generation of Congress, they are not meeting the moment! This is an existential crisis! It sounded very much like a call to violence from the Disney and ABC News co-host. “They should be ashamed at themselves! They should have all walked out with him!” Hostin continued to decry those Democrats who valued decorum in the House chamber.     Behar was shocked to read some of the names on the list Hostin gave her: “Jim Himes – Tim Himes [sic], I would never have thought that. (…) Jared Moskowitz – What?! (…) and Tom Suozzi (…) He's a New York guy, by the way.” “Respectfully, though, there are a lot of people who saw the outburst differently including Democrats,” noted faux conservative Alyssa Farah Griffin. As she started to mock Democrats for their ridiculous antics during Trump’s address, Hostin rudely interrupted to get back on talking about Green: FARAH GRIFFIN: Which was, if you're going to protest and be an opposition party, do it with intentionality and make sure it works. Holding up signs is protesting -- are they being advised by people who use, like, Windows 98? It's the most outdated, like, inconsistent – HOSTIN: We're talking about Green. Hostin also refused acknowledge that Trump had a mandate from voters: FARAH GRIFFIN: To his point – I get his point on Medicaid but this mandate point. If Democrats are going to keep arguing ‘we only lost by X-million of votes.’ That is not the winning message that you guys think that it is. HOSTIN: He doesn't have a mandate. FARAH GRIFFIN: How many votes do you meet to require to have a mandate? As overt as Hostin’s incendiary rhetoric was here, it wasn’t the first time it was flashed on the show. Back in July, after Trump was literally shot in the head, she defended the continued use of inciting rhetoric against Trump. In December, she made excuses for assassinating healthcare executives. When will Sunny Hostin’s dangerous rhetoric be too much for ABC and Disney? When it’s too late? The transcript is below. Click "expand" to read: ABC’s The View March 7, 2025 11:04:56 a.m. Eastern (…) JOY BEHAR: But it didn't unite them all because 10 Democrats voted to censure green. SUNNY HOSTIN: Do you want a list of the ten? [Slides note card to Behar] BEHAR: Do you want to hear their names? HOSTIN: Yes, I do. BEHAR: Why go after them too? Go after the Republicans. HOSTIN: Because they don't know how to fight and be part of an opposition party. [Applause] Representative Green gave them the example. The Democrats are not meeting the moment. It is very clear that Medicaid is on the table. It is very clear that Social Security is on the table. It is very clear that people will die! The baby boomers, the civil rights generation, they knew what they had to do! They were willing to fight and die for their rights! This generation of Congress, they are not meeting the moment! This is an existential crisis! [Applause] BEHAR: And also I might point out some of them are from the most liberal states like New York, Hawaii, California. HOSTIN: They should be ashamed at themselves! They should have all walked out with him! ALYSSA FARAH GRIFFIN: Three of them are from districts Trump won. BEHAR: Okay, here is a question: Where was all this talk about decorum from Republicans when Marjorie Taylor Greene was screaming at Biden? [Applause] Okay. All right. Now, you want to hear who they are. I'm going to read them. Ami Bera, Ed Case, Jim Costa, Lauren Gillen, Jim Himes – Tim Himes, I would never have thought that. Chrissy Houlahan, Marcy Kaptur. Jared Moskowitz – What?! Marie Gluesenkamp Perez from Washington, and Tom Suozzi. FARAH GRIFFIN: Respectfully, though, there are a lot of people who saw the outburst differently including Democrats. Which was, if you're going to protest and be an opposition party, do it with intentionality and make sure it works. Holding up signs is protesting -- are they being advised by people who use, like, Windows 98? It's the most outdated, like, inconsistent – HOSTIN: We're talking about Green. FARAH GRIFFIN: To his point – I get his point on Medicaid but this mandate point. If Democrats are going to keep arguing ‘we only lost by X-million of votes.’ That is not the winning message that you guys think that it is. HOSTIN: He doesn't have a mandate. [Crosstalk] BEHAR: Can I just tell you what Suozzi said? FARAH GRIFFIN: How many votes do you meet to require to have a mandate? BEHAR: He's a New York guy, by the way. “Both parties must hold themselves to the same standards we expect from the other side.” See, they're going to a gun fight with a knife as they say. (…)

MRC-Led Free Speech Alliance: Unleash Mark Meador on Monopolist Censors

The Media Research Center-led Free Speech Alliance sent a critical message to the U.S. Senate on Friday: we need a free speech majority on the Federal Trade Commission.  In a letter to Senate Majority Leader John Thune (R-SD) and Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX), the signatories urged that Mark Meador be quickly confirmed as the newest commissioner of the FTC. The Free Speech Alliance outlined a list of past behavior by Big Tech companies, sounding the alarm about ongoing censorship, particularly by the monopolistic Google. They warned that if the Senate does not hold votes on Meador, these threats may remain unaddressed. [Story Continues on MRC Free Speech America]

Trump targets activists' frivolous lawsuits with financial penalties

President Donald Trump signed a memo on Thursday requesting federal judges impose financial penalties on "activist groups" who file "meritless" lawsuits against the government. The administration fact sheet for the memo "President Donald J. Trump Ensures the Enforcement of Federal Rule of Civil Procedure 65(C)" requires financial guarantees from plaintiffs requesting preliminary injections and temporary restraining orders "where the government can demonstrate monetary harm from the requested relief."'Activist groups file meritless suits for fundraising and political gain.'"This ensures coverage of potential costs or losses if the court later deems an injunction wrongly issued," it stated.Trump requested that "federal courts require plaintiffs post security equal to the federal government's potential costs and damages from a wrongly issued preliminary injunction or temporary restraining order."The memo aims to deter judicial overreach and frivolous complaints. The fact sheet noted that injunctions "cost taxpayers millions or even billions of dollars."The Trump administration accused "activist," "unelected district judges" of granting "sweeping injunctions beyond their authority.""Activist groups file meritless suits for fundraising and political gain, facing no consequences when they lose, while taxpayers bear the costs and delays," the fact sheet read. "The Justice Department is forced to divert resources from public safety to fight these frivolous cases, weakening effective governance."Trump's memo does not require federal judges to impose the financial guarantees. It added, "Enforcing Rule 65(c) deters such litigation by holding plaintiffs accountable for costs and damages if their injunctions are baseless, protecting taxpayer funds and judicial integrity."After less than two months in office, the Trump administration is already facing more than 100 lawsuits from legal groups, labor unions, and other plaintiffs challenging several of the president's executive actions. Over 20 of the cases challenge actions taken by the administration's Department of Government Efficiency, and another 20 relate to changes in federal funding, hiring, and structure of agencies, ABC News reported.Mark Zaid, a Washington-based lawyer who filed a case against the Trump administration last month, told CNN that the president's memo is "a very bold move that violates norms.""This is going to be thrown open to the courts," Zaid said, noting the action could be "incredibly powerful for the Trump administration."He claimed that the administration "will exploit any existing loophole or opportunity to make things difficult for anyone challenging it.""In this case, they actually have identified something that on its face looks to be a utility to rely upon," Zaid added.Like Blaze News? Newsom tries rebranding as moderate, admits to Charlie Kirk men in women's sports is 'an issue of fairness'

It appears that California Governor Gavin Newsom (D), ”the poster child of radical leftist politicians,” is attempting to rebrand himself as more moderate. Newsom just launched a new podcast called “This Is Gavin Newsom,” and he debuted by interviewing none other than conservative political activist and co-founder of Turning Point USA Charlie Kirk. If that weren’t brow-raising enough, Newsom then split from Democrats on the issue of transgender women (biological males) competing in women’s sports when he admitted to Kirk that it is unfair to female athletes. “I think it's an issue of fairness. I completely agree with you on that, so that's easy to call out the unfairness of that,” he said. Liz Wheeler smells a rat. “Gavin Newsom has been a liar for the entire tenure of his ‘public service,’” she says. His podcast, interest in hearing conservative voices, and softened opinions regarding transgenderism in sports spells one thing, says Liz: POTUS. “He wants to be president of the United States. He wants to run in 2028,” she says, noting that he would’ve run in 2024 if the left hadn’t decided to prop up Kamala Harris. “He knows that if he wants to be president, he has to do one thing: He has to shift himself to the right because right now he is a radical leftist; he has taken a far-left extreme position on almost every issue that's important to the American voter,” says Liz. For example, California is a transgender sanctuary state, meaning minors can be transitioned socially or medically without their parents' consent. “That's insanely extreme. There's a reason why over 80% of Americans think that that's wrong and bad and immoral and evil,” says Liz. Further, California under Newsom saw the most draconian COVID-19 policies. Earlier this year, rampant wildfires destroyed over 37,000 acres and 16,000 structures, largely as a result of forest brush the state failed to clear and poorly managed water resources. All that to say, Newsom has a lot working against him. And besides, he will never even come close to being a moderate. His comments about biological males competing in women’s sports is no red-pill incident. He’s lying in an effort to be more widely appealing. “Actions speak louder than words,” says Liz. “Did he change any policy in the state of California? Anything related to protecting girl sports?” “No, he didn't.” To hear more of Liz’s commentary, watch the episode above.
