Muhammad Ali: A Look Inside Boxing’s Most Vicious Butterfly

Float like a butterfly, sting like a bee" was first uttered by Muhammad Ali in 1964 before a fight with Sonny Liston. Ali wasn't supposed to live through the match but refused to back down. He even added, "the hands can't hit what the eyes can't see." Not many athletes have ever backed up their words with as much fame and success as Ali did. Of course, his life story is more than just a quote... Source

Coup Upon Coup Upon Coup

In March 2020, all the major Democratic primary candidates abruptly, mysteriously, and in near unison withdrew from the presidential race, ceding the nomination to Joe Biden.Yet Biden had lost the first three races in Iowa, New Hampshire, and Nevada—and only won his first victory in South Carolina.Suddenly, on the eve of the Super Tuesday megaprimaries, the candidacies of front-runner Bernie Sanders, Pete Buttigieg, Elizabeth Warren, and others simply evaporated. The fear of Sanders’ socialist victory and nomination—and thus an enviable landslide loss to incumbent Donald Trump in the general election—had prompted the donor class and shadowy political insiders to act.And they did so by choosing a perceived moderate, old Joe Biden from Scranton, Pennsylvania. That required the coerced departures of all his far-left rivals, who had hitherto performed much better than Biden in the primaries. Now front-runner Biden still displayed obvious symptoms of serious cognitive decline that had only seemed to mount through the 2020 campaign. And his dementia continued to accelerate during his first three years as president.Biden had deceitfully promised to conduct a healing campaign and a unifying presidency. But once in the White House, his extreme agendas proved the most divisive and far-left in nearly a century.Rumors of that March 2020 Faustian bargain emerged. The Bidens got to serve as useful moderate veneers. So, they enjoyed the ceremonial functions of the presidency while outsourcing the real operations to former Obama administration officials, consultants, and advisers.Indeed, Barack Obama did not, as most ex-presidents do, exit Washington upon leaving the White House. Instead, he bought a mansion and stayed close by.Democrats demonized anyone critical of Biden’s obvious mental decline. Their smearing crested during Biden’s now-aborted 2024 reelection bid, even as Biden could no longer display even a veneer of mental and physical engagement.Polls revealed an impending Trump landslide victory in November—and a massive Democratic loss of Congress. So suddenly on Sunday, July 21—just days left before state ballots were formalized with the names of the parties’ official nominees, and on the eve of the Democratic convention—party bosses, megadonors, and Obama puppeteers went into action for yet a third time. They reportedly threatened candidate Biden with a complete loss of any further campaign funding and raised the specter of invoking the 25th Amendment to end his presidency—should he not suddenly withdraw from the race and endorse Vice President Kamala Harris as his surrogate on the ticket. In one moment, the choices of nearly 15 million Biden primary voters were vitiated. No delegates were consulted. No other alternative Democrat candidates were even considered.Biden was dethroned; Harris was coronated—without much public input or even knowledge of how or why.Democrat grandees stopped smearing Biden’s conservative critics, who had worried over his dementia. Instead, they now trumped opposition criticism of Biden’s decline.Yet Biden most certainly did not resign his presidency. Instead, he promised to serve out his remaining six months in office. So Democrat insiders not only removed their leading candidate, who for the prior six months had won all the 2024 primaries and almost all the delegates, but insisted that Biden keep Democrats and himself in power—but only if he agreed to quit the race.In sum, at the 11th hour of a two-year reelection effort, a cabal arbitrarily decided that Biden might well lose the Democrats the White House and the Congress. So, they reversed course, now claiming his dementia was so acute as to destroy their prospects Nov. 5. But mysteriously, his decline was not severe enough to imperil the American people, whom Biden must continue to lead until Jan. 20, 2025.Furthermore, the bosses’ replacement choice, Harris, had entered no primary. She never won a single delegate. Harris also never captured a single delegate in her first and only presidential run, back in 2020. She then dropped out of the race even before the first Iowa and New Hampshire balloting. We have now witnessed three left-wing veritable coups. In 2020, covert actors decided to ossify the Democratic primary races. Next, they conferred the nomination on a clearly cognitively challenged Biden. He was now tasked with serving as a useful moderate vessel for a virtual, even more radical, Obama third term. The same operators next assumed virtual control of Biden’s presidential agenda, given his accelerating cognitive decline. When that charade could no longer be sustained for a third time, they circumvented the normal transparent democratic process. So, they removed the once useful but now a liability Biden—while insisting that he was still fit enough to keep the Left in power—until the anticipated Harris victory in November. And all of this was the shadow work of those who sanctimoniously lectured America that “democracy dies in darkness.” (C) 2024 Tribune Content Agency LLC We publish a variety of perspectives. Kamala Harris ‘Owns Each and Every One’ of Joe Biden’s Policies, Conservatives Tell Congress

FIRST ON THE DAILY SIGNAL—Vice President Kamala Harris “owns each and every one” of President Joe Biden’s failures, according to a conservative organization that sent a list of Biden’s policies Thursday to every congressional office. “Though the Left and media are out to wipe out the past failures of Harris during the Biden administration, her record is permanently engrained in the minds of the American people,” Paul Teller, executive director at Advancing American Freedom, told The Daily Signal in a written statement. Advancing American Freedom, founded by former Vice President Mike Pence, advocates conservative policies on Capitol Hill. Teller said he sent the letter to equip policymakers with a resource: a “tracker” marking the ways that Advancing American Freedom claims Biden’s policies have failed Americans. The “Biden Accountability Tracker” presents a list of “disturbing and harmful actions,” including “each significant policy decision made, executive action taken, or regulation promulgated by the administration that hurts the American people,” the organization’s letter to lawmakers explains. “Our organization has kept a rolling record of the failures of the Biden-Harris administration since 2021, from reversing Trump-Pence border policies, to pushing an expensive and burdensome climate agenda, failing to protect women’s sports, and using the FDA to make the dangerous abortion drug mifepristone available by mail,” Teller told The Daily Signal. “Kamala Harris owns each and every one of these failings, along with her own record from her time as California attorney general and as a senator.” “It is clear her policies are left of Biden and that she has it out for conservatives and the freedom-loving community,” Teller added. Teller’s reference to Harris’ having it out for conservatives touched on the vice president’s record from her time as California attorney general. For example, Harris directed her office to search the home of pro-life investigative journalist David Daleiden, who had exposed Planned Parenthood officials’ selling aborted baby body parts for profit. She prepared a legal case against Daleiden, which her successor as California attorney general—now Health and Human Services Secretary Xavier Becerra—brought against the pro-life journalist. Harris also demanded sensitive donor information from two conservative organizations, Americans for Prosperity and the American Freedom Law Center, after her office had leaked sensitive donor information and after some on the Left had launched a video game in which players acted out a shooting at Americans for Prosperity headquarters. The tracker focuses on illegal immigration, Israel, climate, and social issues. Immigration policies may weigh heavily on Harris since Biden tapped her to help craft his approach by investigating the “root causes” of illegal immigration. The tracker highlights key immigration policies Biden put into place Jan. 20, 2021, the first day of his presidency. It notes Biden’s orders that the apportionment of congressional districts will include illegal aliens, his revival of the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program, and his suspension of the Migrant Protection Protocols (also known as the “Remain in Mexico” policy). The tracker also notes Biden’s 100-day pause in deportations and his decision to rejoin the World Health Organization despite its record and ties to China during the COVID-10 pandemic. The tracker notes an Office of Personnel Management policy aimed at circumventing Schedule F, a Trump-era reform that would make it easier for presidents to fire administrative staff who didn’t do their jobs or who undermined a president’s policies. It also highlights what Advancing American Freedom characterizes as “harmful Biden administration policy surrounding the conflict in Gaza,” such as the president’s demand for Israel to adopt a cease-fire in its campaign to wipe out Hamas’ military capabilities following the terrorist group’s Oct. 7 terrorist attacks in Israel. The tracker also highlights how legislation Biden signed into law directed funds to renewable energy technologies that rely on America’s top adversary, China. Members of the House and the Senate, and their constituents, may access the tracker on Advancing American Freedom’s website or below. The View's Glorification of Biden As Griffin Berates Her Own Party

The View's Glorification of Biden As Griffin Berates Her Own Party

Following President Joe Biden’s Oval Office speech on Wednesday night, Democrats have come forth with their sentiments, and overwhelming praises. The ladies of ABC’s The View were not apart from the movement, taking time on Thursday to glorify Biden’s long political career, not forgetting to leave time for inappropriate comments on Trump, and critiquing the whole Republican Party.  Alyssa Farah Griffin, a co-host and apparent conservative representative for the show, began a discussion criticizing the Republican Party and Trump for spreading a false narrative. She stated that:  I want to hit on one thing that there's been this, kinda, argument from some folks on the right of this was an anti-democratic process to change who the nominee is. The 14 million people who voted in the Democratic Primary voted for Joe Biden and Kamala Harris. It was known she would be his Vice President. They have not even made her the official nominee nor had they made him yet. The delegates that will be at the convention are the representatives of the voters that are sent there. … And she’s already got most of them. But to juxtapose that to the 81 million votes that Donald Trump wanted to throw out after the election. It's just -- it falls flat. It is a ridiculous point and I think this is a moment to remember we're better than what we've seen these past few years and we have an opportunity to turn the page.     In reality, many of the scruples Republicans have had over the 14 million lost primary votes are legitimate. The primary ticket contained one name, Joe Biden. Of course it is true that Harris was understood to be his VP pick once again, yet the main point is that on their own would Democrats have voted for the same candidate. A valid question to pose. Yet, in the last week it has become clear that questioning the vice president in any way is unacceptable. Farah Griffin's diatribe against her own party should be heavily criticized, as she spends more time complaining about her self-proclaimed party than defending it, leading one to question the so-called diversity in opinion which The View claims. Besides the aside contributed by Farah Griffin, Sarah Haines spoke earlier about Biden, his speech from the night before by praising his career with gratitude and overwhelming emotion (click expand): What I love is, you always talk about the presidents and how much they serve and it ages them like we see the pictures of George W.: before and after; President Obama: before and after. I look at President Biden and that debt of service that this office and all the decades of service have done for him. He was sworn in to Senate just weeks after losing his wife and daughter in that car accident. He spent years commuting from D.C. to Delaware to be there for his boys and you think of all the sacrifices the entire family have made because, you know, Beau died as a result of a cancer he got through service in the military, so I look at that moment and I just think of the Babe quote like in the movie Babe when the dad says, “That'll do.” Like you did your part. Thank you. … It’s pretty much like, you've done your part. … He’s six more months of duty in this term but I want him to be able to sit back after doing so much for this country and the contrast, I just have to point out, he's literally relinquishing power, it was his dream, the only thing he ever wanted to do, while we have a former president who couldn't even accept election results when people said we don't want you. … He couldn’t accept that. And then you also look at Biden listening to the rest of his party and Trump saying, “I am the party.” And I just thought, this was exactly what everyone needed, and I just -- I hope he finally can just slow down and chill and be a dad and a grandpa and a husband and relax. Immediately following Haines’ tribute, Joy Behar took her chance to make a jab at Donald Trump, claiming, “Trump wouldn't give an inch. Just ask Stormy Daniels.” Proving The View’s ridiculousness, despite claims it is a serious talk show with diversity in opinion.   The transcript is below, click “expand” to read: ABC’s The View  7/25/2024 11:05:21 AM EST   (...) SARA HAINES: What I love is, you always talk about the presidents and how much they serve and it ages them like we see the pictures of George W.: before and after; President Obama: before and after. Thank you. I saw a dad up there. JOY BEHAR: Babe? The pig movie? ALYSSA FARAH GRIFFIN: It is actually a beautiful line. HAINES: It’s a beautiful moment where he says, “That'll do.” FARAH GRIFFIN: It’s actually, “That'll do, pig. That'll do.” HAINES: Well I thought if we added the pig part it might be misinterpreted. It’s pretty much like, you've done your part. That’ll do and so I see right now what you’re looking, Joy -- SUNNY HOSTIN: Joy is giving. HAINES:  -- He’s six more months of duty in this term but I want him to be able to sit back after doing so much for this country and the contrast, I just have to point out, he's literally relinquishing power, it was his dream, the only thing he ever wanted to do, while we have a former president who couldn't even accept election results when people said we don't want you. HAINES: Pivot, Alyssa, pivot. FARAH GRIFFIN: On that note, hard pivot, I thought it was a beautiful and historic speech and I was watching it as somebody who’s spent a lot of time in that oval office in front of that Resolute Desk for a different president and it was a reminder to me, and I think it was deliberate, to have the imagery of presidents are merely custodians of the White House. They're there as elected representatives of the people, not to be there forever. Not running because the country is all, you know, based around them and their vision. They're there to serve for a period. We talked about, like, George Washington knew when to pass the baton. WHOOPI GOLDBERG: Right. FARAH-GRIFFIN: I think that -- I said a year ago on the show, if he did pass a baton to a next generation of leadership the history books will remember him very fondly and I believe that deeply. And I want to hit on one thing that there's been this, kinda, argument from some folks on the right of this was an anti-democratic process to change who the nominee is. GOLDBERG: God. FARAH GRIFFIN: The 14 million people who voted in the Democratic Primary voted for Joe Biden and Kamala Harris. It was known she would be his Vice President. GOLDBERG: Right. FARAH GRIFFIN: They have not even made her the official nominee nor had they made him yet. The delegates that will be at the convention are the representatives of the voters that are sent there. Zuckerberg's JAW-DROPPING statement on Trump — are we in the midst of a 'cultural shift'?

The assassination attempt on former President Donald Trump left many Americans outraged — but it also left many proud. And one of those Americans is someone you wouldn’t quite expect: Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg. In a recent interview with Emily Chang from “The Circuit,” Zuckerberg embodied what Dave Rubin of “The Rubin Report” calls a “cultural shift.” “I’ve done some stuff personally in the past, I’m not planning on doing that this time,” Zuckerberg told Chang. “And that includes, you know, not endorsing either of the candidates.” “I mean, there’s obviously a lot of crazy stuff going on in the world. I mean the historic events over the last, like over the weekend,” he continued, before he brought up the assassination attempt on the Republican nominee. “On a personal note,” Zuckerberg began, “seeing Donald Trump get up after getting shot in the face and pump his fist in the air with the American flag is one of the most badass things I’ve ever seen in my life.” “And I think at some level as an American, it’s hard to not get kind of emotional about that spirit and that fight. And I think that’s why a lot of people like the guy,” he added. Rubin thinks this is a very interesting turn of events. “The point is that he now feels that he can come out and say that, say anything remotely positive about Donald Trump or America. He would not have done that, say, five years ago. So, that’s the portion that we are winning here, and I don’t want people to lose sight of that,” he says.
