Hawley: ICE Leaks Are Evidence of ‘Deep State at Work’

by Jeff Poor, Breitbart: Tuesday on FNC’s “The Ingraham Angle,” Sen. Josh Hawley (R-MO) said Immigrations and Customs Enforcement (ICE) leaks about so-called deportation raids were proof the “deep state is real.” The Missouri Republican called for the leakers to be fired and prosecuted “if possible.” “Senator Hawley, we’ve been talking a lot about federal workers […]

IRS to Close More Than 120 Offices

by Anthony Scott, The Gateway Pundit: The Trump administration is planning to close more than 120 IRS offices nationwide. The U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) announced the closures in a letter obtained by the Washington Post. Many of the closing IRS offices have taxpayer assistance centers inside them. Last week, nearly 7,000 probationary IRS employees were […]

It’s Time to End the War Between Ukraine and Russia

Three years have now passed since war broke out between Russia and Ukraine. The toll this needless conflict has taken is unbearable and needless. From the onset, I have opposed every single penny of American taxpayer dollars to fund the proxy war. Let me be clear: I feel no animus toward the Ukrainian people, nor any special affinity for Vladmir Putin. In fact, I would like to see both populations thrive and so I oppose their needless slaughter to serve the misguided ambitions of the pro-war military industrial complex and its allies in our foreign policy establishment. The leftist media routinely spins any advocacy for peace as the drivel of a Russian stooge or a puppet for Putin. I am neither. For the sake of humanity, peace abroad is in the world’s best interest. The cause of the ongoing conflict cannot be reduced to a single narrative. In fact, for nearly three decades, the United States played a multifaceted role that undoubtedly led to the war. In February 1990, Secretary of State James Baker told the Soviet leader Mikhail Gorbachev that “if the Soviets allowed a reunified Germany to remain in NATO and U.S. troops remained in that country, the alliance’s jurisdiction would not move ‘one inch to the east.’” Despite these assurances, in 1993 then-President Bill Clinton expanded NATO, surrounding the former Soviet Union. Clinton was determined to move ahead no matter how the Russians felt and no matter what promises had been made. “The basic U.S. attitude was that if Moscow did not like the idea, too bad for them,” wrote Michael Chapman at the Cato Institute. In 2002, President George W. Bush announced the United States’ exit from the Anti-Ballistic Missile Treaty, which sought to cap the arms race by limiting homeland missile defenses, thus reducing pressures on the superpowers to build more nuclear weapons. Bush promptly ordered the placement of Anti-Ballistic Missile systems along Russian borders. At Bush’s urging, NATO further exacerbated tensions at the 2008 Bucharest Summit by promising Ukraine entrance into NATO. In 2010, the Ukrainian people elected Viktor Yanukovych, whose administration favored reconciliation and peaceful relations with Russia. This was not to the U.S. State Department’s liking. In 2014, then-Assistant Secretary of State Victoria Nuland coordinated with assets in the CIA and USAID to unseat Yanukovych in a coup d’état. During the coup a call between senior U.S. diplomats leaked to the press wherein Nuland was overheard discussing which leaders should be allowed to remain and which should be removed. Nuland seemed to have “very clear ideas about what the outcome should be and [was] striving to achieve these goals,” according to the BBC. Nuland’s choice was Arseniy Yatsenyuk, a rabidly anti-Russian politician. With America’s help, Yatsenyuk emerged as the new Prime Minister. Those actions, along with others, caused Putin to feel profoundly betrayed, humiliated and threatened. In response, Russia began massing tanks and troops along the Ukrainian border. Two months before the invasion of Ukraine, Putin recalled America’s past promises noting “We remember … how you promised us in the 1990s that [NATO] would not move an inch to the east. You cheated us, shamelessly: there have been five waves of NATO expansion.” Today, as the war continues, the Western press and neoconservatives refuse to acknowledge America’s three-decade involvement contributing to the conflict. They also refuse to acknowledge that the Kyiv regime has repeatedly violated its citizens’ civil liberties. Under Volodymyr Zelenskyy, the Ukrainian government has arrested priests and raided a monastery, suspended 11 opposition political parties, and consolidated all television platforms into one state channel. Appropriately, President Donald Trump referred to Volodymyr Zelenskyy as a “dictator without elections.” This is correct. Zelenskyy’s term ended in May 2024, yet he has decided to remain in power, canceling elections and declaring martial law. Contrast this with the United States, which held elections throughout two World Wars and during the Civil War. This all changes with Trump, whose agenda is for peace and negotiation between the belligerents. This is, and must always be, the first order priority of the United States. Our role as leader of the free world should be that of a peacemaker, not a warmonger. Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth recently remarked that he did “not believe that NATO membership for Ukraine is a realistic outcome of a negotiated settlement.” Critics decried Hegseth’s comments, calling them pro-Russian concessions. But Hegseth reframed the issue, explaining that “simply pointing out realism–like the borders won’t be rolled back to what everybody would like them to be in 2014–is not a concession to Vladimir Putin. It’s a recognition of the hard power realities on the ground after a lot of investment and sacrifice … and then a realization that a negotiated peace is going to be some sort of demarcation that neither side wants.”  The horrific Russia-Ukraine War has lasted three years, taking the lives of countless individuals on both sides and costing American taxpayers countless billions of dollars.  I will never cheer on nor support needless bloodshed, environmental destruction, and potential nuclear annihilation at the exclusive benefit of the military-industrial complex and other war profiteers. Instead, I will always try my best to pursue peace and reconciliation. That is why I invited Putin and Zelenskyy to come to Arizona to engage in peace talks. I plan to continue my opposition to sending American taxpayer money to Ukraine, as well as my support for a peaceful resolution to the Russia-Ukraine war. It’s time to end the needless war and I laud the efforts of Trump, Secretary of State Marco Rubio, and Defense Secretary Hegseth to bring the annihilation of multiple Eastern European peoples to an end. We publish a variety of perspectives. Nothing written here is to be construed as representing the views of The Daily Signal. THE REVEALING BIKERNET WEEKLY NEWS for February 27th, 2025

Hey, Everyday something more is revealed. Apparently some of the Jeffey Epstein’s files will be released today, but there’s more. Check this:   Germany’s green backlash: ‘The end of Germany’s climate crusade’ – Used ‘climate policy as a punching bag’ – Joins ‘Austria, Belgium, Ireland & US.’ in booting out ‘progressive climate policies’ –Climate Depot I don’t care what side you’re on, the truth is the truth. And freedom counts. We’ve made mistakes. But at the end of the day. If we made a mistake, we must admit to them and then move to a more honorable future based on truth and integrity. Daytona bike week is kicking off and it should be exciting. We’ll have spies roaming the boardwalk, the Sons of Speed races, AFT events and Willie’s Tropical Tattoo Show. Let’s hit the news. The News was provided by the Bikernet Team including: Wayfarer, the Redhead, Bob T. Sam Burns, Laura, Barry Green, El Waggs, J.J. Solari, Amy White, Jenn and the rest of the crew. The Bikernet Weekly News is sponsored in part by companies who also dig Freedom including: Cycle Source Magazine, the MRF, Iron Trader News, ChopperTown, BorntoRide.com and the Sturgis Motorcycle Museum. TRIUMPH’S NEW SALES RECORD– Global motorcycle sales have topped 100,000 for the first time for the legendary brand. Triumph sold 134,635 motorcycles in 2024, a 64% growth from the previous year. That makes 2024 the first time in the company’s 122-year history that Triumph’s annual sales reached six figures. The fact they surpassed 100,000 by a significant margin makes the feat much more impressive. Credit goes to Triumph’s 400 platform for tapping into an entry-level segment that had previously been a hole in Triumph’s lineup. The Speed 400 and Scrambler 400X were built with the help of India’s Bajaj, which likely played a significant role to push Triumph’s sales in India to 29,736 units. Wonder why Harley-Davidson is playing shy with its X440 which is way more useful than they make it out to be in media. –WayfarerInternational EditorBikernet.com A new Frank Ball Jr, tattoo. QUOTE OF THE WEEK– A change of fortune hurts a wise man no more than a change of the moon.” – Benjamin Franklin BIKERNET READER COMMENT– Is it true that the corporation of Harley Davidson is having  national and international financial issues because of internal and external political pressures and can they survive the political monsters? –Gearhead Hey, I’m not sure. But if you break it down, maybe. The WOK business in the US is causing issues to all companies. WOK is basically anti-capitalism. EV mandates Zietz embraced are hurting the company. Some of these issues are apparent in other countries. So I suppose the answer is, yes. Have you read the 2024 financial results. Not good, not terrible. As you read financials you need to focus on the numbers. A company showing a 6 percent decline can be described as failing. That’s bullshit. Reporters like to claim doomsday with every downturn. There’s a very positive side to this story. I just had a meeting with my Schwab guy. As we talked in his foreign financial language, I looked at market charts. From 2020 through 2023 all major markets stumbled. Now they are soaring. So, watch for a major H-D turn-around. –BanditThe bastard in the Black Hills BILLY LANE NAMED GRAND MARSHAL– for 2025 Progressive American Flat Track Season Opener on March 6 DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. Harley-Davidson’s sales fell from 21,000 in 1929 to 3,703 in 1933. Despite this, Harley-Davidson unveiled a new lineup for 1934, which included a flathead engine and Art Deco styling. In order to survive the remainder of the Depression, the company manufactured industrial power plants based on their motorcycle engines. They also designed and built a three-wheeled delivery vehicle called the Servi-Car, which remained in production until 1973. –Freddie Cuba I’m going to dig into this. I believe the historic flathead was first build in 1929. I have a frame, front end and lowerend (for sale). It had a vertical mag. My book says they produced 24,000 models in ’29, 18,000 in ’30, 10,000 in ’31, 7,000 in ’32, 3,700 in ’33 and 11,000 in ’34. That number remained at the top of the range of bikes built until 1941 when the war effort started and models produced jumped to 24,000. There were 6,500 Army production. Hang on, in 1942 production jumped to almost 53,000 with 24,000 going to the war effort. In 1943 the number shrank to 29,000 and by ’45 the numbers were back to depression era at 12,500. The year 1948 saw a jump with the new Panhead engine to 29,600, and then dropped to half that number most years until 1966 and the Shovelhead introduction, 32,000. It’s amazing that from 1948 to 1966 the sales remained nearly the same about 15,000 every year waiting for the baby boomer to reach the riding age… Or was it when Bandit and Easyriders came onto the scene? –Bandit THE BLACK HILLS MOTORCYCLE SHOW IS COMING– The buzz is in the air about this year’s show, and we are working to make it better than ever.  We already have people insisting to register their bike for the show, and we haven’t opened registration yet! BABE OF THE WEEK— She’s Oili Kojonkoski –Sam BurnsTalent ScoutBikernet.com NEWS FROM THE MOTORCYCLE TRANS AM RALLY– There’s a lot happening as we gear up for the Motorcycle TransAm, and we’ve got some exciting updates for you!  New Merch Alert! We’ve added fresh, high-quality embroidered gear to the shop! Proudly made in partnership with local businesses in Pennsylvania, this apparel is built to last—just like the machines we ride.  Check it out here: https://motorcycletransam.com/shop  New Podcast Episode! We sat down with Steve Klein to talk about the Henderson he’s riding, how he’s prepping for the race, and the rich history of these motorcycles. Steve’s been around the block (and then some), and his insights are worth a listen. A Story About Memories One of the riders in the Motorcycle TransAm, Bill Page, carries a shoelace with him on every journey. Not just any shoelace—his dad’s. His father passed in 1986. His mother, who lived 25 more years, never got rid of anything of his. After she passed, he brought home many of his things, but one he kept close was a pair of boots. He pulled the leather shoelace from them and tied it onto his 1916 Cannonball bike—his own kind of rabbit’s foot. Nine antique rides later, that shoelace has moved from bike to bike with him. And I believe it works because he’s finished all nine rides. So now, when the road stretches endlessly ahead when the only company is the hum of an engine and the wind cutting through the quiet, he knows he’s not alone. A small, fraying piece of his father flies in the wind. Some things aren’t meant to be left behind.  Spots Are Still Open! If you’ve been thinking about joining, now’s the time to commit. This ride will test you, no doubt, but it’ll also be an adventure you’ll never forget. Looking forward to seeing you all out there—it’s going to be one for the books. Sign up! Till Next Week,–Kelsey Jackson TANK ART OF THE WEEK— –Sam BurnsArt CuratorBikernet.com TEXAS WEATHER REPORT—Cananada Parts That’s right Ca-Nan-A-Duh & no not hockey related, don’t watch it!  I did take an extreme interest in Women’s Curling after meeting some very cute young ladies on one of my stays.  Just more fun to say, anyway Cananada is knocking out some very cool parts, cylinders with replaceable sleeves, performance heads and clean rocker boxes, along various other parts.  Some which will be the only ones I ever be able to afford, cam covers plates for the Shovelhead & Evo. Look at the size of the fins on those cylinders, I had never heard of them.  However if I were given access to the Bikernet corporate card I’d be willing to use the Shovelhead, even setting the original tins aside if needed to achieve the vision, really just need a set of 3.5 fuel tanks painted and distressed to match the original FLHC paint.  See saving money already!  I’d also need the CC for the S&S cases & flywheels & pistons.  Oh, and the Baker 6 in a 4 and the high end suspension and Performance Machine brakes.  But other than that I got the rest! Dyna is back running, riding Harley-Davidsons since the ’70s and just adjusted my first set of hydraulic lifters yesterday as I’ve always converted to solids.  Nothing has shot through the top of the motor and it sounds good.  Maybe I did it right, we’ll see? It’s cold & raining in Texas. Know how to tell your old & had a rough body life, your right shoulder pops repeatedly while adjusting the intakes!  While I would never defile an FXR by putting a TC or M8 in it, that’s what 111s are for!  Took a quick ride in the light rain, that 96” TC is definitely faster than the 80” Evo.   Maybe I’ll grab an Andrew’s EV27 while I have the corporate card?  Pep up the RP a little, unless…what is the limit on the CC? speedandscience.com–RFR-FXR Life & Dyna 2 CLASSIC JANUS MOTORCYCLES– Spring is around the corner… and the line for a beautiful Janus bike will soon stretch out! For the second year in a row, the event is cancelled. Disappointing enough, but this was on track to be the most competitive Snow Outlaws championship ever. Rice Lake winner and Outlaw class points leader Matt Musselman was so motivated that’s he was ending his family’s Mexico vacation early and taking a marathon trip of flights and rental cars to be at Lakewoods on time. His retro, Hypersports-built “Sno-Twister” is one of the coolest sleds in the paddock but will be stuck at home this weekend. Three Lakes Outlaw winner Alec Gibas finally had the taste of nitro victory in his mouth and had only 18 points to make up on Musselman, but he and his awesome “Hulk” won’t get the chance. Jeff Ratzlaff’s Mike Allen-ridden, Hypersports-built “Grinch” defined the current model of screw-charged nitro sleds. They sit third and will finish the season without an event win. And Dominick Ernst? The 2023 champ’s “Eagle-1” switched from turbo to screw blower since ’23 and will go without a round win in ’25. R. Dustin, Chris Connelly’s “Problem Solver” (with Jeremy Hannen riding), Ethan Erhardt, Austin Oertel and more will all have to wait until next year to hit the snow. Rice Lake winner Ryan Santry and Three Lakes winner Kyle Shilts won’t get the chance to break their tie at the top of the Pro Xtreme 55 points battle, and 2023 champ Brian Sullivan and his brother Corey, Scott Kostman, Tyson Enerson, Canadian Casey Down, Danny Hogan and more won’t be able to advance in the most competitive season in years. The Three Lakes Pro Mod final was a four stroke vs. two classic between Jesse Bruns and Louie Goldbach, but Cable won’t see that kind of sweet noise this weekend. Rice Lake winner Kyle Baynes will retain his points lead and be champion. The Snow Outlaws series thanks all of the racers and fans for their support of the quickest, most explosive sport on snow. We all look forward to completing a full schedule in 2026. Visit the Snow Outlaws Facebook page S&S CYCLE WELCOMES BACK JEREMY GILBERT– S&S Cycle is excited to announce the return of Jeremy Gilbert as the Senior Manager of Special Projects. Gilbert was originally with S&S Cycle from 2004 to 2014, working everywhere from manufacturing to tech support and sales. Jeremy returns, bringing with him his extensive experience and proven results in the manufacturing sphere. “I was very eager to bring Jeremy ‘Rodeo’ Gilbert back to the S&S family and have not been disappointed,’ said Director and Shareholder, Brett Smith. “He started out as Sr. Manager of Special Projects and quickly earned a promotion to Director of Logistics, a position we haven’t filled in quite some time. His vast industry knowledge and S&S experience in both manufacturing and sales brings a unique skill set to a department that manages product flow from our vendors all the way to the customer.” Smith further stated, “Having such dedicated, experienced, and passionate leaders at S&S like Jeremy is why we’re going to win and win big in 2025 by providing the ultimate customer experience through Proven Performance in the powersports industry!” Jeremy spent over four years managing a Milk Replacer plant for Land O’ Lakes Purina. He spent six years leading production operations at Freudenberg, Inc., a $11 billion global gasket and seal company that serves the OEM and aftermarket automotive industry. On his 10-year hiatus from S&S Cycle, Jeremy gained valuable global operational experience by serving as a supplier to the world’s largest automotive and motorcycle manufacturers. Jeremy looks forward to using his passion for motorcycles and leveraging his previous experiences working at the industry-leading provider of V-twin Proven Performance. Jeremy holds a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering with an Emphasis on Manufacturing Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Stout as well as a Black Belt in Six Sigma and, perhaps most importantly, a membership to the S&S Cycle 11-Second Club. MONTANA’S FIGHTING BACK– Below is the LC2205 climate bill led by Rep. Tom Millett. It overturns the “Findings of Fact.” Rep. Millett asked me to help him draft LC2205. The 2025 legislature has four other bills related to the Held v Montana climate lawsuit: HB 270: Revise remedies to MEPA HB 285: Generally revise Montana environmental policy act HB 291: Revise laws related to air quality standards LC4171: Generally revise the Montana environmental policy act They are all good bills but they all assume the Democrat version of climate science is true. Maybe I have different core values than my Republican friends who represent us. Here are my core values that the other four bills will not accomplish: Free Montana to use of its natural resources of coal, oil, and natural gas. Clarify to the public that human carbon emissions do not cause climate change. Stop Montana’s schools, colleges, and universities from indoctrinating students to believe climate fiction. Stop the abusing children by forcing them to believe in the climate fiction religion. Stop carbon capture because (a) it is based on climate science fiction rather than climate truth, (b) CO2 is plant food that we need to survive, (c) it will not lower the CO2 in the atmosphere because we cannot overpower natural CO2 emissions, and (d) it would cost more than America’s annual budget just to capture all human CO2 emissions. Stop all wind energy projects that tie to the electrical grid. Support President Trump’s effort to stop the green energy and net zero scams. Only LC2205 will counter the so-called “facts” about climate that the District Court and Montana’s Supreme Court concluded in their evaluation of Held v Montana. –Ed Berry WARD HEADS AND INTAKE MANIFOLDS— Want serious M-8 performance? We are rebuilding the bathroom, adding a shower, and it looks like fixing the roof. A roofing expert stopped by and pointed at the hail dings on the composite roof material, which is amazing. “I’ll talk to your insurance agent about hail damage,” He said. “You need to replace your roof.” The composite material on the top of our roof is akin to the super-hearty skin on an inflatable raft. It’s super tough. At the same time, we discovered a crane sweeping over the top of the Sturgis Motorcycle Museum. The staff faced similar issues with the 1937 portion of the Museum roof. Plus, with the help of Danial James we were producing a full-page ad for the 57785 magazine. I worked on the copy and the images. Danial layed it out, but the day before the Deadline, the Redhead woke up and complained about the wording. Bottom line, we made changes, and made the deadline. –Bandit This is Mike’s Vincent powered sidecar bike. The Triumph is even cleaner. MORE FROM THE STURGIS MOTORCYCLE MUSEUM– We have an emerging educational program in the works. The Dave McGraw foundation kindly donated $50,000 to the Sturgis Motorcycle Museum Educational fund. The museum is an educational facility, but Keith Terry wants to expand a program he ran years ago to train kids to work on bikes and learn the basics of welding, machining, tool use and building motorcycles. We also have the opportunity to rebuild a Mike Parti, Triumph, Bonneville racer and take it back to the Salt Flats. I recently received this note from Tish Parti. Thank you so much for updating me, I truly appreciate it. Sounds like you’ve got some exciting plans going on over there! I’m especially interested in seeing any pictures. Also very interested in the idea of getting the Triumph back on the salt. Please keep me updated, it all sounds like fun! Once again, thank you so very much. I hope to visit the Sturgis Motorcycle museum one day when my health returns. Best,–Tisha Parti LAW TIGERS CLAW AT LEGISLATION– Is Lane Splitting Legal in Oklahoma? Like most states in the US, lane splitting is illegal in Oklahoma. The law requires motorcyclists to ride in line with cars, just like other motor vehicles. If caught lane splitting, you can be subject to a hefty fine and license penalties. So motorcyclists in Oklahoma should always make sure they never co-occupy a lane with other vehicles. Oklahoma Lane Splitting Laws Oklahoma Statutes 47-11-1103 states that no motorcycle operator should pass other vehicles in the same lane while moving in the same direction. The only exception to lane splitting laws is authorized emergency vehicles, such as the police. Oklahoma state law does not explicitly prohibit two motorcyclists from riding side-by-side. As long as the motorcyclists do not impede the normal flow of traffic and ride reasonably, they can legally share the same lane. Lane Splitting Vs Lane Filtering Oklahoma law doesn’t specifically mention lane filtering, which is moving between slowed or stopped traffic in between lanes, typically at an intersection. However, in most cases, lane filtering will work against you if you are in an accident. As such, motorcyclists shouldn’t try to bypass stopped or slowed traffic by moving along white lines or between cars and the curb. Penalties for Lane Splitting in Oklahoma Lane splitting is a traffic violation in Oklahoma and can result in a fine and up to one point on your license. Penalties for lane splitting can be significantly more severe if you cause an accident and injure someone. Lane Splitting and Motorcycle Accident Liability If you are in a motorcycle accident while lane splitting, you might wonder whether you can still recover compensation for your injuries. In most cases, if you are lane splitting and cause an accident, the law will consider you negligent and at fault for the accident and your injuries. Violating lane-splitting laws is usually enough to determine negligence and assign fault to the motorcyclist. However, you may still be able to recover compensation for your injuries, even if you were lane-splitting when it happened. If the other driver was also behaving negligently, they may share partial fault and be liable for the portion of your injuries they caused. For instance, if a driver was speeding and struck you while you were lane-splitting, they may be partially liable. Oklahoma is a comparative negligence state, so at-fault parties in motorcycle accidents can still recover damages so long as they are not more responsible for the accident than are all other at-fault parties. However, awarded damages will be reduced by the percentage of fault you bear. A motorcycle accident attorney can argue your case to minimize fault and maximize your recoverable compensation. Law Tigers are Committed to Protecting Riders While lane splitting might seem like a convenient way to navigate traffic, it’s essential to remember that it’s illegal in Oklahoma and can lead to fines, license penalties, and increased liability in accidents. Understanding the laws and riding responsibly is the best way to stay safe on the road. If you’ve been involved in a motorcycle accident—whether lane splitting was a factor or not—the Law Tigers are here to help. Our experienced motorcycle attorneys understand the unique challenges riders face and can help you navigate complex legal situations. Have more questions about riding laws, like “Is lane splitting legal in Oklahoma?” Contact Law Tigers today for a free consultation and learn how we can fight for your rights as a motorcyclist. Congressman Dunn introduced a previous version of this bill during the 118th Congress that garnered the support of 56 bipartisan cosponsors. With this introduction, Congressman Dun said, “American consumers deserve full control over their vehicle repair and maintenance data to ensure they can find the best service for their vehicle at a reasonable price. Unfortunately, vehicle manufacturers are standing in the way of American consumers accessing their own data to use the repair shop of their choosing, limiting consumer choice.” He further added “Your vehicle belongs to you, not the manufacturer. I am introducing the REPAIR Act to provide a binding, workable solution to anti-competitive behavior in the auto repair industry to reaffirm consumer control over their vehicle maintenance data and empower them to work with repair shops big and small.” The right to repair and modify your motorcycle is an important part of the Motorcycle Riders Foundation (MRF) 2025 Legislative Agenda. The MRF looks forward to seeing the text of this latest bill. As we review this bill and others that may impact the Right to Repair, we will be mindful that this is a priority for bikers. Access to the parts, tools and technical information required to work on products you own is something all bikers should support. Our partners in the aftermarket and independent shop industries are key parts of the entire motorcycle ecosystem and their survival is crucial. Stay tuned for potential calls to action at the federal level on the Right to Repair/Modify. Stay engaged back home, as state legislatures begin to examine Right to Repair/Modify laws across the country. Stay vigilant! It is the basis of wrongheaded climate regulation that puts ideology ahead of science. The regulation has been an impediment to economic growth, a cause of rising energy costs and a destroyer of thousands of jobs at power plants, coal mines and manufacturing facilities. Relying on false computer models and pseudoscience, the EPA erroneously claims that carbon dioxide and other so-called greenhouse gases threaten to overheat Earth. The agency disregards complexities of climate dynamics – from solar cycles to clouds to ocean currents – and a mountain of real-world data accumulated over decades and centuries that disprove the endangerment finding. Repealing the rule would defang fearmongering climate alarmists and the lawfare emanating from the U.N. and allow a return of common sense and scientific integrity befitting a free society. –Gregory Wrightstone YAMAHA CONTINUES AS AN OEM PARTNER– of Progressive AFT and Title Sponsor of Senoia Short Track Progressive American Flat Track, sanctioned by AMA Pro Racing, is proud to once again name Yamaha Motor Corp., USA an OEM Partner of Progressive AFT for the 2025 season. Further underlining its commitment to the series, Yamaha will also continue its tradition of serving as the title sponsor for the Yamaha Senoia Short Track, which will take place on Saturday, March 29, at Senoia Raceway in Senoia, Georgia. This will be Yamaha’s third consecutive season holding down that role in Senoia, as well as the sixth time the manufacturer has done so for Progressive AFT rounds held in the greater Atlanta area since opening its Marietta, Georgia, offices in 2018. Yamaha is coming off a remarkable Progressive AFT campaign in 2024 with even greater ambitions for 2025. Last season, the superstar Mission AFT SuperTwins tag team of Dallas Daniels and JD Beach – who filled in for the injured Daniels at three rounds – combined to finish on the podium in all 16 races aboard the Estenson Racing Yamaha MT-07. During that run, the duo racked up five victories in all with an average finishing position of better than second place (1.875). The brand was equally well represented in AFT Singles presented by KICKER competition where the ascendant Tom Drane led all riders with seven victories while earning a total of 13 podiums in 16 attempts aboard the Estenson Racing Yamaha YZ450F. Daniels and Drane will be back on Yamahas in 2025 and are universally accepted as leading contenders for their respective thrones. Yamaha will celebrate that success with their employees and its fans at Senoia, bringing some 250 employees to the event, while boasting an impressive presence in the Fan Zone and a dedicated branded parking area.   “Yamaha Motor Corporation, U.S.A. (YMUS) and Yamaha Motor Manufacturing Company (YMMC) are thrilled to announce our sponsorship of this year’s Senoia Short Track, marking our third consecutive year of supporting this exciting family-friendly event,” said Bob Brown, President of Yamaha Motor Manufacturing Corporation of America. “We are passionate about providing fun and engaging activities for our team members, allowing them to witness Yamaha products in action and share in the excitement. We look forward to continuing our involvement in the community and showcasing the innovation and excellence that Yamaha stands for.” For more information about Yamaha visit https://www.yamahamotorsports.com Buell Motorcycle Co. to Showcase Super Cruisers & Customs at Daytona Bike Week 2025 Daytona Bike week will be a buzz with Buell unveiling Super Cruiser custom builds. DIRECT FROM THE BIKERNET THOUGHT TEMPLE– Is There Peace in Faith? “Faith is the strength by which a shattered world shall emerge into the light.” — Helen Keller There are days when having faith feels like an uphill battle. With the constant stream of negativity from the media, endless news of conflict, and our own personal struggles, it can be hard to believe in something greater. Conversations often reinforce the doom and gloom, making it easy to feel like things are only getting worse. And when we look at how much energy, money, and resources are channeled into war and division, it’s natural to wonder—where is peace? But what if we chose a different path? What if, instead of feeding fear and negativity, we channelled our energy into peace? What if we lived each day recognizing that we are all connected—brothers and sisters in this shared world? Imagine the impact if we consciously shifted our conversations from what’s wrong to what’s possible. Despite what the news may say, we are not beyond hope. We still have the power to create change. The real question is: Are we part of the problem or part of the solution? Could we spark a movement—one that encourages people to believe in a better way of living and speaking about life? Could we help others see that there is a Power for good waiting to be embraced? It may seem like a dream, but as John Lennon envisioned: “Imagine all the people living life in peace. You may say I’m a dreamer, but I’m not the only one. I hope someday you’ll join us, and the world will be as one.” Today, I choose to be part of the solution. I believe that Spirit is calling the world toward love and peace. I commit to changing my thoughts and conversations—choosing to see the good wherever I go. No matter how tempting, I will not engage in negativity. Instead, I will contribute to a shift in consciousness, a Peace Revolution. As Lyndon B. Johnson wisely said, “Peace is a journey of a thousand miles, and it must be taken one step at a time.” Today, I take that first step. I believe that when we have faith, we open the door to change. As the Dalai Lama reminds us, “The best way to have peace is to make friends.” Today, I will be a friend. I am grateful to have faith in a Power greater than myself. I trust that this Power responds to my intention. Today, I go within to that sacred place of peace, raise my faith, and do my part to make the world better. I am grateful to be on this journey. And so it is. Namaste. “Faith consists in believing when it is beyond the power of reason to believe.” — Voltaire ThanksYaleChoppers Cycle1-307-230-0826 HARLEY-DAVIDSON x DYNOJET FACTORY RACE TEAM POISED FOR EXCITING 2025 MOTOAMERICA MISSION FOODS KING OF THE BAGGERS SERIES MotoGP Veteran Bradley Smith Joins Kyle Wyman and James Rispoli on Factory Race Team Road Glide Motorcycles The Harley-Davidson x Dynojet Factory Race Team is prepared to open the 14-race 2025 MotoAmerica Mission Foods King of the Baggers road racing series on March 6-8 on the high banks of Daytona International Speedway in Daytona Beach, Fla. The class has gone from strength to strength over the last four years and Harley-Davidson and its factory riders have done a tremendous job since the project began in creating a great motorcycle. In 2023, Rispoli won two races and was second in Mission Foods King of the Baggers season points while racing for the Vance & Hines Harley-Davidson team. Rispoli began racing in flat track as a teenager and earned the nickname “Hogspoli” while winning the 2020 American Flat Track Production Twins championship aboard a Latus Motors Racing Harley-Davidson XG750R. I got to talking to Randy Cramer about his project Road Glide. He likes the M-8 platform and is working with Ward Performance on his 123 inch engine. “M-8s had issues in ’18 and ’19, but they are good engines now. I mentioned it to Paul Davis, the tech of techs. He’d doing something crazy for Bonneville with a Sportster. He showed me his secret formula, but made me swear not to share it. He introduced me to two other M-8 head masters. I will share them next week. I’m going to register my Knuckle with the SD DMV and for Jason’s Bike Show in Deadwood. I’ve started quizzing Rogue about his childhood. He grew up when Hitler ruled Europe for a minute. I’m beginning to feel the first chapter and scratch out lines. I started to work with another proofreader, Becky out of Wisconsin. She’s very involved with ABATE and a serious rider. I have more projects rolling for the Sturgis Motorcycle Museum, including five fundraising efforts. I can’t wait for the weather to clear, and I can roadtest my Knucklehead. We need to put the top end on the Salt Torpedo and align it. Holy shit. The Emporium is coming along and the old building throws one thing after another as us. And there’s something else hanging in the winds. Maybe next week I can discuss it. Hang on. In the meantime, build cool shit and ride forever free! –Bandit The post THE REVEALING BIKERNET WEEKLY NEWS for February 27th, 2025 appeared first on Bikernet Blog - Online Biker Magazine.

USAID Workers Given 15 Minutes to Clear Desks

The Trump administration has ordered USAID employees to empty their desks within 15-minute time slots. That’s it. Get in, grab their stuff and get out. Just another reminder to these people that true leadership has finally arrived and he doesn’t take kindly to people wasting this country’s money. Also, workers are escorted by federal officers to collect their belongings. This marks a swift end to their roles in international aid. Play time is over. BREAKING : USAID have 15 minutes to clear their desks. So long! pic.twitter.com/4ne4x1fWci — The Eagle’s Laugh (@featherandflag) February 27, 2025 NBC News reports: U.S. Agency for International Development workers — many in tears — carted away belongings through cheering crowds in a final visit to their now-closed headquarters Thursday as the Trump administration’s rapid dismantling of the congressionally authorized agency moved into its final stages. Notices sent out in mass mailings this week are terminating over 90% of USAID’s contracts for humanitarian and development work around the world, and the Supreme Court has temporarily blocked a judge’s order requiring the administration to release billions of dollars in foreign aid. The administration notified most USAID staffers in recent days that they were on leave or being fired, then gave thousands of those who worked in the Washington headquarters 15-minute time slots to clear out their desks under the escort of federal officers. Some staffers wept as they carried out grocery bags and suitcases with what was left from their life’s work. “Heartbreaking,” 25-year-old Juliane Alfen said, carrying a small bag with a stuffed rabbit sticking out. Like hundreds of colleagues, Alfen received a form notice Monday that her firing “was in the best interest of government.” “I felt like we made a difference,” Alfen said. “To see everything disappearing before our eyes in a matter of weeks is very scary.” USAID has been one of the biggest targets of a broad campaign by President Donald Trump and cost-costing chief Elon Musk’s Department of Government Efficiency, or DOGE, to slash the size of the federal government. Their actions have left only a small fraction of USAID employees on the job, slashed $60 billion in assistance overseas and upended decades of U.S. policy that foreign aid helps American interests abroad by stabilizing other countries and building alliances. Supporters stood by, letting those fired USAID workers know that they’re proud of them for wasting countless millions. So brave, so stunning. Some people were upset over giving them 15 min. They thought they should get zero minutes and grab their stuff from the street. Just saw someone write this “USAID fires staff, gives 15 mins to grab stuff—HQ shuttered!Did you vote for this?”My answer is surely NO! Why did they get 15 minutes? They should collect their shit from the street pic.twitter.com/SrrYAxVpq6 — VetUSAGuy (@NE_VET_GoArmy) February 27, 2025

Pentagon Orders Purge of DEI Mentions from Social Media

Pentagon Orders Purge of DEI Mentions from Social Media

The Pentagon has just mandated a complete cleanup of its social media platforms. This means zero mentions of diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI). No rainbow flags, no pro-BLM. None of that woke nonsense. And the deadline is March 5. This follows President Trump’s executive order to eliminate federal DEI programs. Finally years of content promoting “inclusivity” is being erased. Pentagon Is Removing DEI Material from ‘All Official Online Content’ READ: https://t.co/0nGyF41mS9 pic.twitter.com/j6PwaBvZY9 — The Gateway Pundit (@gatewaypundit) February 27, 2025 Yahoo News reports: Building lethality in the military may be the buzzword for the new Trump administration, but busywork and paperwork have become the reality at the Pentagon, as service members and civilian workers are facing a broad mandate to purge all of the department’s social media sites and untangle confusing personnel reduction moves. On Wednesday, the department’s top public affairs official signed and sent out a new memo requiring all the military services to spend countless hours poring over years of website postings, photos, news articles and videos to remove any mentions that “promote diversity, equity and inclusion.” If they can’t do that by March 5, they have been ordered to “temporarily remove from public display” all content published during the Biden administration’s four years in office, according to a copy of the memo obtained by The Associated Press. The new directive comes as the military services also are scrambling to identify probationary workers the administration has targeted for firing under its campaign to slash the government workforce. They are also trying to figure out how many civilian workers have agreed to leave under the government-wide buyouts and whether they have been approved. Among the firings were a dozen senior military leaders late last week, including Gen. CQ Brown Jr., who was chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff; Adm. Lisa Franchetti, the chief of naval operations; Gen. Jim Slife, vice chief of the Air Force; and the judge advocates general for the services. Top leaders had been targeted as part of the campaign to rid the military of so-called “woke” leaders, but the firing of the JAGs didn’t seem to fall into that category. The latest social media directive hits just days after the department issued a separate memo to the services reminding forces to remain apolitical and focused on “the non-partisan execution of their duties.” “Given the intense focus on recent changes within the department, maintaining the public trust is more important than ever,” said the memo, signed Feb. 19, by Darin Selnick, who is temporarily working as the undersecretary for personnel. This follows up on Pete Hegseth’s purge of DEI. BREAKING: Secretary of Defense, Pete Hegseth just ended ALL DEI programs at the Pentagon! pic.twitter.com/d5hysI5civ — Alex Stone (@StoneJAlex) January 26, 2025 Finally someone said it. Diversity is NOT our strength. It’s always the opposite of what the liberals say. HOLY SH*T Pete Hegseth just crushed DEI for good in the military. “One of the dumbest phrases in military history is ‘our diversity is our strength” He said if you don’t like that, you can get out THIS IS WHAT WINNING LOOKS LIKE pic.twitter.com/EQw4RZN2LH — MAGA Voice (@MAGAVoice) January 30, 2025
