With technology improvements across the board, the gaming industry is making sure they’re either ahead or inline. Another way that gaming has changed is that you’re now able to download or stream games straight to your console with a good internet connection. With the use of the cloud, it has become possible to purchase games to keep on your console hard drive or even stream directly using only space on the online servers. Perfect for avoiding the long queues when it comes to new releases. Technology advances are very unpredictable, but no one was able to predict how fast and how far we come in just a short amount of time. So who knows what the future holds when it comes to gaming? President Joe Biden and some of his aides have reportedly said that they regret that Biden dropped out of the race, and believe Biden could have defeated now-President-elect Donald Trump in November. Biden has also reportedly expressed regret that he chose Merrick Garland to serve as attorney general, since Garland apparently did not prosecute Trump quickly enough to substantially hurt him politically, and the AG supposedly showed “aggressiveness” in going after Biden’s son, Hunter. “Biden and some of his aides still believe he should have stayed in the race, despite the rocky debate performance and low poll numbers that prompted Democrats to pressure him to drop out,” a Washington Post report published Saturday said. “Biden and these aides have told people in recent days that he could have defeated Trump, according to people familiar with their comments, who spoke on the condition of anonymity to describe private conversations.” Biden, who had been showing mental decline for years, shockingly dropped out of the race in July after a dismal debate performance against Trump. “In private, Biden has also said he should have picked someone other than Merrick Garland as attorney general, complaining about the Justice Department’s slowness under Garland in prosecuting Trump, and its aggressiveness in prosecuting Biden’s son Hunter, according to people familiar with his comments,” the Post reported on Biden’s regret about Garland. The president has also said that he was “stupid” for neglecting to put his name on COVID relief checks as a way to get more credit for what he sees as a strong economic recovery during his tenure. The new media landscape, where Americans can bypass the bias of legacy media, was also a source of blame for Biden. “We pick what news we want to hear — it’s a totally different deal,” Biden said earlier this month. “We’ve got to figure out how we deal with this significant technological change. If Nixon was more accustomed to television, he wouldn’t have perspired so much, and he would be president when he’d beat Kennedy. I know that sounds silly. But think of the changes taking place. Where do you go? What is true? We have no evidence anymore. I’m not sure how that gets resolved.” Trump won every single swing state and the popular vote in the 2024 election against Vice President Kamala Harris.
