Over the last five years, Riley and Miss Mary have become the best of friends. According to a post Riley shared on social media, she first met her 93-year-old neighbor after a storm. The winds managed to knock down a tree, and it landed right on Mary’s home. When Riley noticed, she rushed over to check on her. Luckily, the sweet elderly woman was totally fine. Ever since that day, Mary and Riley’s family have become incredibly close. Most recently, Riley even had the chance to rescue Mary during a tornado. The warning sirens were already sounding off, but Riley didn’t care. She was determined to bring her neighbor over so she could stay with them in their basement. Storms assaulted Texas throughout the entire Memorial Day weekend. Five confirmed tornadoes touched down the day after this footage was captured. Dustin captured the beginning of this rotation in a separate video. The rotation shocked them into uttering some expletives near the end. They record an average of 132 devastating funnel clouds every year. The greatest frequency of tornadoes touching down happens in the Red River Valley area of North Texas. Dustin identifies his location as “North Texas,” so we’re unsure if he’s near the Red River Valley, but it’s a possibility.
