HELLS ANGELS FACING NUMEROUS THREATS
The long-delayed court decision on whether to extradite two Lower Mainland men to the U.S. to face charges in an alleged multi-million dollar stock fraud scheme has been delayed again.
Curtis Lehner and Courtney Vasseur were both scheduled to appear in court in the second week of September to appeal extradition orders. If their appeals fail, they could be sent to the United States, where the US Justice Department has charged them both with conspiracy to commit securities fraud, conspiracy to commit wire fraud, multiple charges of securities fraud, and conspiracy to commit money laundering.
Lehner was to appear before B.C. Appeal Court judges on Sept. 8, and Vasseur on Sept. 12.
Both those hearings appear to have been postponed again.
Vasseur is now scheduled to appear on Nov. 21. According to court registry clerks, Lehner did not appear on Sept. 8, and it did not appear that another date had been scheduled yet.
