The Bombshell Chart the Government Didn’t Want You to See

Yesterday‚ we reported via America First Legal that more bombshell information has come out about the government – CISA – censoring Americans who were telling the truth about mail-in voting despite knowing it could be fraught with fraud. They also knew voting in person was not a COVID risk. Elon Musk published that chart below […] The post The Bombshell Chart the Government Didn’t Want You to See appeared first on www.independentsentinel.com.

Hamas Rejects Israel’s Offer of a Two-Month Pause

Israel offered Hamas a two-month pause in the fighting along with the release of Palestinian prisoners to secure the release of the hostages in Gaza. Hamas has rejected it. The Times of Israel reported that a senior Egyptian spoke to The Associated Press to say the terror group has rejected Israel’s proposal. The official says […] The post Hamas Rejects Israel’s Offer of a Two-Month Pause appeared first on www.independentsentinel.com.

Med Student Advocates For ‘Full Term’ Abortion

And the left will still probably say that nobody wants to allow abortion throughout all nine months... An OBGYN student at the Medical College of Wisconsin testified at the Wisconsin state Capitol Monday‚ insisting that if she and her classmates cannot conduct abortions for women throughout all nine months of pregnancy‚ she will leave the state. Naturally‚ users online were stunned at how confidently she expressed killing full term babies. In a video which now has more than 200‚000 views on X‚ the woman said‚ “I think abortion should be unrestrictive‚” saying that regardless of when a woman “finds out” she’s pregnant‚ she "should be able to get an abortion if they want to‚ and for some people that is full term." The hearing Monday came after the Republican controlled Wisconsin Assembly introduced a bill on Friday which “proposes a referendum on a ban on abortions after the 14th week of pregnancy‚” Courthouse News Services reported Monday.  Related: Pro-Aborts Protest March for Life: ‘Murder is Perfectly Fine’     When I watched this my jaw visibly dropped. That girl‚ training to be a practicing OBGYN‚ legitimately just said she’d be OK with the following: If a woman is pregnant and due tomorrow‚ has a baby located a mere six inches up the birth canal that can survive and function on his or her own‚ she can kill that child and face no repercussions.  This feels like something out of a dystopian movie.  Towards the end of the clip‚ the woman added‚ “If I can’t get abortion training here‚ if I can’t perform abortions in my career‚ I will not stay in Wisconsin and a lot of my colleagues who are on the same track agree.” To that‚ I say that she may as well just leave the country altogether‚ because we don’t want that here.  Users on X agreed with me.  “Imagine your entire self worth being defined by your ability to snuff out an innocent human life. Beyond sick‚” one commented.  “REPULSIVE‚ this is what evil actually looks like‚” another added.  One user wrote‚ "She is admitting‚ and proud of it‚ that she would commit infanticide. Murder. She needs to be permanently barred from practicing medicine everywhere. Unspeakable evil.”  Moms for Liberty member Scarlett Johnson posted the following: She just said she would abort a FULL TERM fully developed human baby. A baby that can absolutely live outside of the mothers womb. A baby deserving of life. SICK. I am ashamed for her. If that isn’t murder‚ what is? I pray she leaves Wisconsin and never comes back. — Scarlett Johnson (@scarlett4kids) January 23‚ 2024 Fox News Opinion Editor Dan Gainor suggested the school “deny her a medical degree‚” while Libs of TikTok tweeted the video and wrote‚ “This is what colleges are instilling in young people. Demonic.” Demonic it is. Yet abortion without limits or restrictions is exactly what the left wants‚ but often refuses to admit out loud. Our nation’s children are under attack.Follow us on Twitter/X: MRCTV's @tierin_rose had some awesome conversations with pro-lifers attending the March for Life‚ and some interesting conversations with clueless pro-abortion counter-protestors. pic.twitter.com/CQeynX2DdK — MRCTV (@mrctv) January 23‚ 2024

Not Babylon Bee: Jerusalem Post Agonizes Over the ‘Climate Crisis’ of Israel’s War Against Hamas

Not Babylon Bee: Jerusalem Post Agonizes Over the ‘Climate Crisis’ of Israel’s War Against Hamas

The Jerusalem Post decided it was a good idea to twist the Israel-Hamas war into a whining session about how the Jewish state’s military offensive was contributing to the so-called “climate crisis.” Talk about straining at a gnat and swallowing a camel. “Climate crisis on Gaza battlefield: CO2 emissions surge from Israel-Hamas war‚” read The Post’s ludicrous Jan. 14 headline. It didn’t take long for the outlet to then wokescold Israel’s retaliatory strikes against Hamas following the terror group’s Oct. 7th genocide against the Jewish people as somehow exacerbating climate change. “Some 99% of these emissions were attributed to Israel’s aerial and ground operations against Hamas in Gaza‚” cried The Post. First‚ who with a functioning prefrontal cortex would expect war to be environmentally friendly? Secondly‚ how dare Israel wage a war after Hamas raped‚ pillaged‚ kidnapped and murdered hundreds of its citizens because of the supposed climate impact‚ right Jerusalem Post? The newspaper couldn’t stop itself from trying to guilt Israel over the alleged climate footprint of its military operations. It based its entire premise on an admittedly non-peer-reviewed study co-authored by Climate and Community Project (CCP) Research Director Patrick Bigger‚ who lambasted Israel: “‘There is very clearly an emissions asymmetry here‚ in the same way‚ that there are a lot of asymmetries in this conflict.’” What's worse is that the anti-Israel story was written by The Post's Deputy CEO Maayan Jaffe-Hoffman. What The Post failed to disclose‚ however‚ was that Bigger’s group is admittedly anti-Israel. “Ceasefire now‚ ceasefire forever: No climate justice without Palestinian freedom and self-determination‚” read the headline of a Dec. 13 anti-Israel CCP report co-authored by Bigger himself. The Post bypassed another piece of context: The CCP group is fiscally sponsored by the leftist philanthropic behemoth Tides Center‚ which was heavily funded by leftist billionaire and Hamas-sympathizer George Soros to the tune of at least $14‚235‚421 between 2016-2022 alone. Capital Research Center’s Influence Watch noted that Tides Center has a sordid record of “incubat[ing] numerous left-wing organizations since its inception.”  In essence‚ whatever objectivity the so-called climate “study” was attempting to project is effectively obliterated by CCP’s involvement. “Israel’s day-to-day actions for decades‚ now reaching a crescendo of extreme‚ illegal escalation of violence since Hamas’ October 7th atrocities‚ are a continuation of the Nakba‚ or ‘catastrophe‚’ that began in 1948 with Israel’s dispossession of 750‚000 Palestinians‚” read CCP’s Dec. 13 screed on its website. Bigger is depicted as the lead author of that piece. “Israel’s ongoing land confiscation and denial of use to Palestinians causes direct environmental devastation and injustice.” But Jaffe-Hoffman‚ doing a bit of public relations for the CCP‚ parroted Bigger and a co-author’s pseudo assurance that “they were pushing for a ceasefire due to the loss of human lives on both sides and not because of the war’s environmental impact.” Yeah‚ right. The first of three "Key takeaways" from CCP's anti-Israel report co-authored by Bigger read as follows: "An immediate‚ permanent ceasefire and end to all occupation and apartheid is the only viable path forward for lasting peace‚ security‚ and survival of people and ecosystems through the climate crisis." Jaffe-Hoffman appeared to just haphazardly take Bigger at his word. [Emphasis added.] Climate crisis on Gaza battlefield: CO2 emissions surge from Israel-Hamas war | Some 99% of these emissions were attributed to Israel’s aerial and ground operations against Hamas in Gaza. @Jerusalem_Post @patrickmbigger @SSRN @QMULhttps://t.co/6kHFyzOdKO — Maayan Jaffe-Hoffman (@MaayanJaffe) January 15‚ 2024 But that’s not all. Jaffe-Hoffman also regurgitated one of the co-authors’ assertions that “the [Israel-Hamas war] emissions appear high but are comparable to those in other wars the team or their colleagues have studied‚ such as the Iraq war.” However‚ Jaffe-Hoffman didn’t bother mentioning anything about the ongoing Russia-Ukraine war‚ the climate impact of which has also been vastly repudiated by leftists. The irony is that The Jerusalem Post ran an op-ed just days after its climate repudiation of Israel headlined: “Why I haven't written environmental news since Hamas's massacre.” The author‚ WION Middle East correspondent Jodie Cohen‚ conceded: “Who would care about carbon-reducing innovations or water-saving techniques when 3‚000 Hamas terrorists had infiltrated Israel‚ shattering people’s feelings of safety and security?” Maybe The Post’s leadership should take a few notes from Cohen’s op-ed about editorial restraint going forward. Conservatives are under attack. Contact The Jerusalem Post and demand it stop peddling climate propaganda from leftist organizations to repudiate Israel.

Coates Tells Harris She's 'Struck' That GOP Would 'Insult' Her Despite 'Passion'

During a Monday interview with Vice President Kamala Harris‚ CNN’s Laura Coates admitted to her that she is a big fan as she claimed to be “struck” that despite her “passion” Republicans claiming that a vote for President Joe Biden is a vote for Harris as if that would be a bad thing. Coates concluded the interview by declaring: I’m struck‚ just in your presence‚ the‚ I was watching you on stage‚ watching the reactions from the crowd‚ looking you in the eye with your passion that you were displaying in talking about so many issues and yet‚ you hear candidates suggesting that a vote for President Biden‚ because of his age‚ is somehow a vote for you and that is hurled as an insult. It's intended to demonstrate some negative viewpoint towards you. What is your reaction to this thought? That with your background‚ in particular‚ with your career‚ that there is some thought that you are incapable?      Presidential and vice presidential candidates get attacked all the time‚ but Harris naturally responded by crying sexism‚ “Well‚ I think that most women who have risen in their profession‚ who are leaders in their profession‚ have had similar experiences. I was the first woman to be elected district attorney. I was the first woman to be elected attorney general in the state of California‚ and I'm the first woman to be vice president. And I love my job.” The rest of the interview wasn’t much better. Earlier on‚ Coates fawned over Harris’s abortion activism‚ “I know this is a very big and important issue right now and voters have been looking at it in previous elections as a time to turn out. It is something you are very passionate about in terms of freedom and choice… With respect to that issue in particular‚ what could not have been done in the first term that you require a second to accomplish?” Harris predictably mourned the fall of Roe‚ “in the next 10 months‚ do everything we can to remind people that the Court‚ the Supreme Court‚ took a constitutional right from the people of America‚ from the women of America and the United States Congress has the power and ability to put that right back in place‚ to put back in place the protections of Roe v. Wade into law.” Sticking with abortion‚ Coates tied the issue to violence against women: When you were a prosecutor‚ this was an extraordinary focus…Crimes against women‚ violence against women and children. I know you have been very passionate about this for a long time… when you talk about the states in particular‚ you hold Trump responsible for the nomination of three Supreme Court justices who you believe intended‚ at all times‚ to overturn this important president‚ as you say‚ 51 years later‚ here we are with it now being in past tense. If it's a state-related issue‚ is the election‚ or the candidacy‚ the campaign of Trump‚ as important?  Harris replied that Donald Trump‚ and presumably all pro-lifers‚ get some morbid joy out of seeing women suffer‚ “he’s proud of what he did and let's be clear‚ so by inference‚ he is proud that women have been deprived of fundamental freedoms to make decisions about their own body. By inference‚ proud that doctors are being penalized and criminalized for providing healthcare. Proud that women are silently suffering because they don’t have access to the health care that they need.” Coates didn’t have a problem with that‚ but she did seem have a problem with the ongoing border-Ukraine/Israel/Taiwan aid negotiations from the left‚ “And yet there’s progressives who are very angry about-- progressives about Dreamers‚ about a pathway to citizenship not being included in the latest negotiations on these issues. Why are they—” Harris cut her off claiming she won’t speak to current negotiations before giving typical Democratic talking points‚ before claiming “they should be protected‚” but apparently Harris also needs to be protected—from tough questions because anything closely resembling a tough question was from her left. Here is a transcript for the January 22 show: CNN Laura Coates Live 1/22/2024 11:03 PM ET LAURA COATES: Excuse me‚ with respect to abortion‚ in particular‚ I know this is a very big and important issue right now and voters have been looking at it in previous elections as a time to turn out. It is something you are very passionate about in terms of freedom and choice.  KAMALA HARRIS: Okay‚ sure‚ no‚ yeah‚ sure‚ we can talk about choice‚ yeah‚ yeah.  COATES: With respect to that issue in particular‚ what could not have been done in the first term that you require a second to accomplish?  HARRIS: So‚ the first thing that has to happen on the issue of abortion and choice‚ and freedom for reproductive care‚ is that we need to‚ in the next 10 months‚ do everything we can to remind people that the Court‚ the Supreme Court‚ took a constitutional right from the people of America‚ from the women of America and the United States Congress has the power and ability to put that right back in place‚ to put back in place the protections of Roe v. Wade into law.  … COATES: When you were a prosecutor‚ this was an extraordinary focus.  HARRIS: Yes and children. COATES: Crimes against women‚ violence against women and children. I know you have been very passionate about this for a long time. HARRIS: Yes. COATES: In a variety of different fields— HARRIS: Yes. COATES: -- but I do wonder‚ when you talk about the states in particular‚ you hold Trump responsible for the nomination of three Supreme Court justices who you believe intended‚ at all times‚ to overturn this important president‚ as you say‚ 51 years later‚ here we are with it now being in past tense. If it's a state-related issue‚ is the election‚ or the candidacy‚ the campaign of Trump‚ as important?  HARRIS: Well‚ let's first be clear that the previous president expressed his intentions quite clearly. And fast-forward to just recently‚ says he’s proud of what he did and let's be clear‚ so by inference‚ he is proud that women have been deprived of fundamental freedoms to make decisions about their own body. By inference‚ proud that doctors are being penalized and criminalized for providing healthcare. Proud that women are silently suffering because they don’t have access to the health care that they need. So‚ let's understand that the stakes are so very high and listen‚ Joe Biden‚ President Joe Biden has been very clear: when Congress puts the protections of Roe back into the law‚ he will sign it. Similarly‚ President Joe Biden has been very clear‚ if these extremists achieve their other goal‚ which is to have a national ban‚ which means state by state by state‚ Joe Biden will veto that. The stakes are high.  … COATES: And yet there’s progressives who are very angry about-- progressives about Dreamers‚ about a pathway to citizenship not being included in the latest negotiations on these issues. Why are they-- HARRIS: I won’t speak to the current negotiations and the status of the current negotiations‚ but I will tell you that Dreamers under‚ sadly‚ some of the draconian approaches to them have been treated very badly and that we have to understand who our Dreamers are. First of all‚ in the height of the pandemic‚ it was so many Dreamers who were frontline workers— COATES: It’s true. HARRIS: -- working on saving lives. Dreamers‚ many of them‚ before they could walk or talk‚ were brought into the country and have lived very productive lives‚ serving in our military‚ serving in Fortune 500 companies‚ and they should be honored for the contribution they are making. And they should be protected.  … COATES: Let me ask you one more question. I’m struck‚ just in your presence‚ the‚ I was watching you on stage‚ watching the reactions from the crowd‚ looking you in the eye with your passion that you were displaying in talking about so many issues and yet‚ you hear candidates suggesting that a vote for President Biden‚ because of his age‚ is somehow a vote for you and that is hurled as an insult. It's intended to demonstrate some negative viewpoint towards you. What is your reaction to this thought? That with your background‚ in particular‚ with your career‚ that there is some thought that you are incapable?  HARRIS: Well‚ I think that most women who have risen in their profession‚ who are leaders in their profession‚ have had similar experiences. I was the first woman to be elected district attorney. I was the first woman to be elected attorney general in the state of California‚ and I'm the first woman to be vice president. And I love my job.

Elon Musk at Auschwitz: DEI Is ‘Discrimination‚’ ‘Fundamentally Anti-Semitic’

X owner Elon Musk made clear that the diversity‚ equity and inclusion agenda is a source of hatred and racism.  During a conversation with The Daily Wire editor emeritus Ben Shapiro at the January 2024 European Jewish Association Delegation to Auschwitz‚ Musk connected anti-Semitic campus protests to DEI initiatives. Musk told Shapiro that diversity‚ equity‚ and inclusion “all sound like nice words‚ but what it really means is discrimination on the basis of race‚ sex and sexual orientation and it’s against merit and thus I think it’s fundamentally anti-Semitic.” Earlier in the discussion‚ Shapiro went after the “conspiracy theory about power” that underlies anti-Semitism and the DEI agenda: the demonization of a group as an “oppressor class” over the rest of society. Shapiro called this conspiracy theory “really ugly” and added that he saw “echoes” of this theory in the present. “We see the diversity equity and inclusion ideology that basically suggests that all of society is a vast pyramid of group identity and that at the very top are the people who are successful and that those people are exploiting everybody else‚” Shapiro said. “You can tell who is successful by their group identity not by their level of success‚ by their group identity. That matches up incredibly‚ that syncs up almost a Venn diagram circle with anti-Semitism.” This DEI ideology‚ which leads to racial discrimination‚ also ignited campus protests in support of Hamas after the brutal terror attack of Oct. 7 in Israel. Musk referred to these protests as a “shocking wake-up call.” Musk offered some solutions that cut to the heart of DEI. “I think we really need to stop this principle that the weaker‚ normally the weaker party is always right. This is simply not true. If you are‚ in quotes‚ ‘oppressed’ or ‘the weaker party‚’ it doesn’t mean you’re right. Because if some of those weaker groups want to annihilate you that does not make them good. We have to get rid of the rule that if you’re weaker you’re automatically good.” Musk panned the absurdity of coddling people who want “to kill you.” He added‚ “I’m a great believer in moral absolutism‚ not moral relativism. There is good and bad in the absolute and you judge any group and individual against absolute moral standards — not whether they’re the so-called ‘oppressed’ or ‘oppressor’—  just on absolute moral terms: ‘Are they doing good things? Do they want to murder innocent people?’ That’s bad. It doesn’t matter who they are.”  Conservatives are under attack! Contact ABC News (818) 460-7477‚ CBS News (212) 975-3247 and NBC News (212) 664-6192 and demand they report on the dangers of leftist DEI ideology infecting corporate America

Behar Admits Dems Want Trump to Be Nominee‚ Wants Haley in to Annoy Him

With the polls open for the New Hampshire primary‚ the Tuesday edition of ABC’s The View began with the Cackling Coven giving their worthless hot takes on the state of the Republican field they would never vote for. Confirming what many have suggested‚ co-host Joy Behar admitted that Democrats‚ including some of the cast‚ wanted former President Donald Trump to be the GOP nominee because they thought he posed an easier fight in the general election. They also pleaded for former U.N. Ambassador Nikki Haley to stay in the race and at least just be a nuisance to Trump. Not leaning on cries of “sexism” this time‚ faux conservative Alyssa Farah Griffin proclaimed that everyone needed to vote for Haley in the primary “Because this man is so uniquely unfit that we cannot lose the forest for the trees.” She decried those on the left who claimed Haley posed a threat to the country on par with Trump. Behar countered Farah Griffin’s advocacy for Haley by admitting that “there are some Democrats included who think that Biden has a better chance of winning if he goes up against Trump.” “He does‚” staunchly racist and anti-Semitic co-host Sunny Hostin agreed. Co-host Sara Haines also thought that line of thinking had merit. “He probably has a better chance against Donald Trump than he does Nikki Haley. So‚ there could be a positive flip side if you don't want Trump‚” she argued. “That's a major gamble. That is a scary gamble‚” Alyssa Farah warned.     On Haley’s future in the race post-New Hampshire‚ Behar and moderator Whoopi Goldberg wanted her to stay in the race no matter what just to be horn in Trump’s side: BEHAR: The more she stays in‚ the more demented he looks. Because‚ right – [Applause] She needs to stay there so that he can talk about – GOLDBERG: Just to annoy him. BEHAR: Just to annoy him. Continuing to admit inconvenient truths‚ Behar admitted she’s “noticed” that President Biden is “physically frail.” Hostin tried to argue that his health was perfectly fine because Biden “rides his bike.” “He rides his bike‚ but he's thin. You know. And sometimes the knees start to go when you're older‚” she said. But she tried to blunt the truth by suggesting his “brain is working.” Behar downplayed Biden’s failing mental state by focusing on Trump’s mental slips. “He keeps saying that he's running against Obama. He said that Biden was going to start World War II‚” she huffed. Hostin asserted that Trump’s comments could indicate “a decline in mental health” But Behar undermined her arguments from previous shows where she suggested that since she and Biden were similar ages and she’s fine‚ that means the President’s mind was solid. Throughout her ranting‚ she showed off her own mental lapses when she falsely claimed Trump got out of serving in Vietnam by saying he had “bone spores” instead of “bone spurs.” She also insisted that Trump was going to make ID cards a requirement to buy bread. The transcript is below. Click "expand" to read: ABC’s The View January 23‚ 2024 11:03:07 a.m. Eastern (…) JOY BEHAR: The more she stays in‚ the more demented he looks. Because‚ right – [Applause] She needs to stay there so that he can talk about – WHOOPI GOLDBERG: Just to annoy him. BEHAR: Just to annoy him. You know‚ I mean‚ he has had so many gaffes. You know‚ they talk about Biden being old. Biden may be physically frail. He is a little bit. I noticed that. SUNNY HOSTIN: He rides his bike a lot! BEHAR: He rides his bike‚ but he's thin. You know. And sometimes the knees start to go when you're older‚ but the brain is working. HOSTIN: Yeah. BEHAR: The other guy‚ okay. He keeps saying that he's running against Obama. [Laughter] ALYSSA FARAH GRIFFIN: Which he's never been‚ by the way. BEHAR: He said that Biden was going to start World War II. Hello‚ you had bone spores [sic] – [Crosstalk‚ cast collectively telling her “bone spurs”] BEHAR: Bone spurs during the Vietnam War‚ wasn't it? All right‚ well‚ anyway‚ he didn't do either one. He confused Hamas with hummus. [Laughter] He alleged voter that I.D. is needed to buy a loaf of bread. That will happen if he gets in. He warned about whales washing up on shore. He says that veterans don't have cell phones. And now he's confusing Nancy Pelosi with Nikki Haley. HOSTIN: Yes. BEHAR: So‚ in addition to having -- GOLDBERG: Is that because to him everybody looks alike. BEHAR: All the white people. [Laughter] No‚ he says she was there on January 6th. Nikki Haley was not there on January 6th. Nancy Pelosi was there. HOSTIN: It could be a decline in mental health. BEHAR: But in addition to all these demented moments‚ he has narcissistic personality disorder. (…) 11:09:06 a.m. Eastern FARAH GRIFFIN: Because this man is so uniquely unfit that we cannot lose the forest for the trees. BEHAR: But there are some Democrats included who think that Biden has a better chance of winning if he goes up against Trump. HOSTIN: He does. BEHAR: What is your opinion of that? FARAH GRIFFIN: That's a major gamble. That is a scary gamble. SARA HAINES: He probably has a better chance against Donald Trump than he does Nikki Haley. So‚ there could be a positive flip side if you don't want Trump that -- HOSTIN: And I don't want Nikki Haley in the Oval Office. I think she's an enigma. FARAH GRIFFIN: But you don't think she's as dangerous as Donald Trump. BEHAR: She’s not as dangerous as Trump. HOSTIN: I don’t think we know her. GOLDBERG: Nobody knows how dangerous anybody is. Nobody knows any of this‚ and I'm just going to put out we know – HAINES: We know Donald Trump though. GOLDBERG: We know what he is. We have not seen how dangerous he can be‚ but we don't know how dangerous somebody else can be because now he's opened the door for people doing whatever they want to do. (…)

Trudeau mocked after Liberals crack down on wood ovens with 'crusade' against pizzerias and bagel shops

Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau was mocked for his party having out-of-touch priorities after the federal government carried out compliance checks at restaurants that have wood-fired ovens.Trudeau's Liberals implemented the ominous-sounding "compliance promotion activities" at vendors such as pizzerias and bagel shops to determine whether or not the restaurants are following emissions regulations under the National Pollutant Release Inventory program. The program is a publicly available list regarding what type of pollutants are released into air‚ water‚ or land by businesses. Businesses must report all alleged pollutants to the government‚ which includes declaring the operation of stationary combustion equipment and what contaminants it releases. The government claimed that the NPRI does not regulate the emissions; rather it just keeps track of them."Addressing air pollution is a shared responsibility between federal‚ provincial and territorial governments. Some provinces and municipalities in Canada also have standards in place that set limits on air pollutant emissions from new residential wood-burning appliances‚" a government spokesperson told CTV News.Conservative Party Leader Pierre Poilievre took shots at the prime minister for his "crusade" against pizza ovens while seemingly ignoring actual crises."I know that Prime Minister Trudeau and his federal agency have launched an outright crusade against pizza ovens‚" Poilievre told reporters. "They started in Montreal‚ but we know they will get out here to Vancouver." "[Residents] who are locked in their homes and terrified of pizza ovens should be at ease that Justin Trudeau will come to your rescue‚" the party leader sarcastically said. "Don't worry about your 100% rent increase or the fact that you can't feed yourself; Justin Trudeau is spending your money going after pizza ovens here and everywhere‚ and he will not stop until this crisis is resolved." Pierre Poilievre pokes fun at the Trudeau Liberals for launching "an outright crusade against pizza ovens." — (@) Poilievre appeared to be rereferring to Montreal's ban on older wood-burning stoves and fireplaces‚ which has been discussed as possibly becoming more strict since the rules came into effect in 2018.Montreal's health department cracked down on the stoves further in 2020 after the city's health department revealed that 3% of air pollution in the city came from commercial wood-burning stoves.Similar government regulation was seen in New York in 2023‚ after the NYC Department of Environmental Protection drafted new rules to regulate coal and wood-fired ovens installed in restaurants prior to May 2016.A man threw pizza at city hall in protest.Like Blaze News? Dean Phillips humbles reporters with lesson in journalism‚ explains why Joe Biden is 'going to get creamed'

Rep. Dean Phillips (D-Minn.) called out the media on Monday for ignoring the true concerns of American voters.Speaking with reporters in Manchester‚ New Hampshire‚ one day before the "first in the nation" primary‚ an exasperated Phillips pleaded with the media to understand why Americans support Donald Trump."I've said this 18‚000 times: I'm only doing this to defeat Donald Trump. Nobody seems to want to do that in the Democratic Party right now other than me‚" he said‚ "because Joe Biden can't‚ is my proposition‚ because the data says he can't. "No one in the country right now cares — in fact‚ most of the people in the country are going to the Trump rally right now because he's listening to them. No one's asking about this stuff‚" Phillips continued. "I'm just frustrated."The Minnesota Democrat then dished out a lesson in journalism: to derive truthful observations or conclusions‚ you must first ask insightful questions."You're doing your jobs‚ but you're not asking the questions Americans give a s*** about‚" he told the reporters. — (@) Phillips understands why voters are interested in Trump because‚ one day before those comments‚ he spoke with voters who attended a Trump rally in New Hampshire on Sunday. He later recounted his experience in an interview with CNN anchor Jake Tapper."People are really fearful‚" Phillips explained. "Last night‚ I saw a Trump rally outside of mine. I walked up to the line of people a mile long. And I simply said‚ 'Hello.' I was met with 50 people going to the Trump rally who were friendly‚ hospitable‚ thoughtful‚ and some who said they voted for Barack Obama‚ some said they were Bernie Sanders supporters‚ about half of whom had never been to a Trump event before."So to everybody watching right now: Donald Trump is on a big mission to win and Joe Biden is going to get creamed‚" Phillips warned. "I just wish Democrats would wake up and ensure that at least we give it our best shot because right now I'm afraid we are diluted into a nightmare."Phillips' bid for the White House is more than a long shot. But he isn't exactly doing terribly. In fact‚ one poll recently showed that he only trails President Joe Biden by 22 points among New Hampshire's likely Democratic primary voters. And on Monday‚ Phillips received an endorsement from the New Hampshire Union Leader‚ the largest newspaper in the state. While Phillips won't be the next president‚ it is clear he understands why Trump is surging politically — and why Biden is more vulnerable than ever. Like Blaze News?
