Born in Detroit‚ Michigan on November 6‚ 1948‚ Glenn Lewis Frey was already playing music by the time he was five years old. At first‚ it was the piano before switching to guitar. Before co-founding the Eagles in 1970‚ he was in a few rock bands between his time at Dondero High School and Oakland Community College.
