Finally, someone in New York making sense!!!
“It was very encouraging to hear that Eric Adams, unlike a lot of previous Democratic candidates, has not let these situations go by without comment. Now, we know he’s against shoplifting, but he started to talk about the ways in which we could start to control it, and one of them is to make sure that everybody gets prosecuted.”
He added that “whenever you reduce crime in the neighborhood, you automatically spur economic development exponentially.”

It's the first sign of what we all expected...he will fold and vote for this mess!!!!
"I want work requirements for everything," Manchin told reporters late last month. "Means testing and work requirements."
He has said that while he supports the child tax credits and is "trying to help the children," he wants to "make sure we're getting it to the right people."
"There's no work requirements whatsoever," Manchin told CNN on Sept. 12. "There's no education requirements whatsoever for better skill sets. Don't you think, if we're going to help the children, that the people should make some effort?"

I'm sure he didn't write this but at least his office responded. Ole Sherrod 'Columbo' Brown didn't even bother to respond.

To:you Details
Dear Rocky,
Thank you for contacting me regarding Marine Lieutenant Colonel (LtCol) Stuart Scheller. It is good to hear from you.
As you are aware, on September 27 LtCol Stu Scheller, of Cincinnati, Ohio, was arrested and confined to the brig aboard Camp Lejeune, North Carolina for violating a gag order after he posted videos criticizing the Biden administration’s evacuation from Afghanistan. I am pleased to report that LtCol Scheller has been released from the brig as of October 5th . His case will now proceed to a preliminary hearing to consider whether charges should be recommended to his command.
As I have stated, the Biden Administration must be held accountable for the rushed and chaotic withdrawal from Afghanistan—a withdrawal that put our troops, Afghans who have helped us, and our NATO allies in danger, and risks giving terrorists safe haven to attack us again. LtCol Scheller’s calls for accountability are warranted in the wake of the poor strategic decisions that contributed to the tragic deaths of 13 service members on August 25th, including Fleet Marine Force Corpsman Max Soviak of Berlin Heights, Ohio.
I will keep your views in mind as I continue to track his case.
Thank you for interest in this issue. For more information, you may visit my website at www.portman.senate.gov .
Sincerely,
Rob Portman
U.S. Senator
WTF?! Why hire a lawyer so fast unless you are looking for $$$?!!!
"What happened to Nance and why it took police nearly two weeks to find her body Oct. 7 in the busy municipal parking lot remain a mystery — even after officials on Friday released surveillance footage showing someone they said was Nance entering the vehicle and moving around.
Preliminary autopsy results this week showed no signs of trauma or foul play, officials said; the cause of death is under investigation. A separate police inquiry into Nance’s death is ongoing, and a toxicology report is expected in the coming weeks. In the meantime, her family has hired one of the nation’s most high-profile civil rights attorneys, Ben Crump, to represent them as they await answers in the case."

Police in Myrtle Beach, S.C., arrested the former boyfriend of a North Carolina woman who went missing and whose body was found four days later. Laporscha Chantal Baldwin, 30, last spoke with family members at 2 p.m., Oct. 10, police said in a news release Tuesday. Baldwin’s family had been unable to contact her since, the Charlotte Observer reported last week.

Yeah...could you imagine what we would be hearing if this was happening in Scranton?!! By the way, have any illegals been bused or flown to Pennsylvania?
"He said the migrants’ presence was “a tremendous expense.”
“We recently in the last five years replaced fences and it was right at $150,000 and once the fences are cut we have right now about 23 cut,” he said, adding “They are no longer what one would describe as durable as they were to begin with and so what I have had to do is move my livestock to another location because I couldn’t risk them escaping getting on the highway and perhaps causing problems.”
Ward said he just wants Biden to Listen.
“I would like to say I think President Biden should become the president of the United States,” he said. “If this was happening in Delaware, I know he would do something about it. If it was done in New York or Illinois, there would be those that would call on him and he would respond to those areas. But I feel like he has abandoned [us]. He has no care for the people in this state, of this area and we are extremely disappointed in him."
