I have to admit I’m usually too busy working on this website to watch Fox News and I think I’ve only seen a handful of Gutfeld! episodes in my lifetime. Not that I don’t like him, I just don’t typically have time to tune in. So I don’t know Tyrus (real name George Murdoch) very well, but I know many of you like him and enjoy him on Gutfeld! and other shows like The Five. Kind of strange he would end up on Fox News which is owned by the Rupert Murdoch family, but to the best of my research there is no relation between the two. Here’s a quick bullet-point summary of everything we know so far: Fox News personality George Murdoch (Tyrus) posted a cryptic message on X:“I lied, neglected, and degraded the woman I love. I’m sorry,” with a photo of him and his wife, Ingrid. The post sparked speculation online, with fans concerned and unsure of its meaning. Some speculate the post could hint at infidelity, but Murdoch has not confirmed or explained further. Others suggest it may relate to past allegations made by former co-host Britt McHenry in 2019. McHenry accused Murdoch of sexual harassment, including sending explicit messages and images while co-hosting “Un-PC” on Fox Nation. She also claimed Fox News retaliated against her after reporting the harassment. Fox conducted an investigation and said McHenry’s claims were unsupported. In July 2021, both parties voluntarily dismissed the lawsuit; no financial settlement was made. Murdoch has consistently denied all allegations. And uh, I just wanna ma– quick, quick video uh about the 3 posts I made yesterday. Uh, number one — they’re not— I was not hacked. Number two — it’s not AI. Uh, number three — it was me writing an open letter to my wife, um, about the challenging times that she went through while I was going through some low points. Uh, with my weight, my health, my mental state, my frustrations, um, lack of communication, uh, working too much, not spending enough time at home. And when I am at home — being bitter, grouchy, sore, angry — all those things that happen. And then lo and behold, uh, I started training and I get right, and I feel great. And I’ve lost 127 pounds, uh, and I did it the right way — uh, in the gym. And I got this whole new mindset and I’m just like, “Hey, I— I’m so excited. Look at all the great things I did,” without really paying attention to the people that had to suffer with me during — just like an addiction or anything else. They went through it, and there needs to be a moment of atonement and res— personal responsibility to thank them. And I thank people I don’t know online all the day. I give advice, I talk shit on TV, et cetera. So writing an open letter to my wife, apologizing for what she had to go through to help me get to where I am, is something that I think every man should do if you’ve hurt somebody. Now the old me body is private — no one needs to know our business. But I’m in the— I’m in the public light and I sit on TV in a chair and call people out on their BS. So I called myself out on my own BS, and I think more of us should do that. But me and my family are strong. We’re good. I’m a lucky man. And uh, we’re gonna continue to work and grow. Uh, thank you for the support. And those who had negative things to say — you— hey, maybe you should look in the mirror. But I looked in the mirror and ne— realized that I needed to: Recognize my support from my wife. Honor her. And if I can do it for people on TV, I can damn sure do it for my wife. And again — young men out there who make mistakes, who say the wrong things, who are rude and take things out on the ones you love the most — you have to fix it. Maybe it’s not a post on social media, but you have to do something to where they know it’s just not something you say to them and then you walk out the door and be like, “Oh, I’m glad that she’s off my back.” Being a man — a— a man of— of integrity — it’s not easy because, um, we’re human beings and we make mistakes. And you’re gonna make mistakes. And you’re gonna say the wrong thing. And you’re gonna treat somebody that you love horribly and not even realize it because you’re in your own shit. And then you get outta your own shit and you want everyone to hug you, but you didn’t realize that your shit’s all over them. So anyone who has a problem with me writing a public letter to my wife — grow the fuck up or mind your business. Either way, I don’t care. But the point is — you cannot lead unless you lead by example. And leading by example — sometimes you’re not gonna f— look great and feel great. And it’s embarrassing to think back on it, but the people that love you — that really love you and support you and will be there for you if all the fame and sh— stuff goes away and you’re teaching in a school somewhere — those are the ones you really need to focus on. A federal judge dismissed California’s lawsuit challenging President Trump’s tariffs. Gavin Newsom and state Attorney General Rob Bonta earlier filed their case. But Judge Jacqueline Scott Corley dismissed the case outright rather than immediately transfer it to the trade court, as Trump’s attorneys had requested. By doing so, she granted the state’s request to leave a path open for California to appeal the ruling to the U.S. 9th Circuit Court of Appeals, a famously liberal-leaning bench. Still, Scott Corley’s decision is a blow to California officials who had hoped the district court would rule on the legality of Trump’s unilateral tariffs. Last week, a D.C. District Court judge went the opposite direction and invalidated Trump’s tariffs, ruling in favor of two toy-import companies. The attorney general said the San Francisco-based federal judge’s decision “keeps the case in California and allows California to appeal to the Ninth Circuit, which it plans to do immediately.” “Today, our lawsuit challenging the Trump Administration’s disastrous and illegal tariffs was allowed to remain in California pending our incoming appeal. We strongly believe this case belongs in federal district court and are pleased the court considered our wishes in dismissing this case so we have the opportunity to seek review. Our argument is straightforward: Trump doesn’t have the authority to impose these destructive tariffs — the International Emergency Economic Powers Act simply does not authorize tariffs,” Bonta said. “We remain confident in the strength of our case and look forward to continuing to fight for California’s vibrant economy, businesses, workers, and families.” “It was dismissed on procedural grounds,” Newsom’s press office wrote on X. “We disagree — as did a federal court in D.C. — and have already appealed.” Newsom reacted to the trade court and the D.C. judge’s rulings against the tariffs in an appearance on the MeidasTouch podcast last week, stating, “It’s raining TACOS today.
