The fourth GOP presidential primary debate is scheduled for December 6th in Tuscaloosa‚ Alabama. NewsNation will host the debate‚ which will feature three moderators. The moderators include NewsNation’s Elizabeth Vargas‚ The Washington Free Beacon’s Eliana Johnson‚ and former Fox News anchor Megyn Kelly. “It will be the margarita of debates – spicy‚ fun and somewhat intoxicating. Looking forward to it‚” Kelly said in a statement‚ according to Axios. Is Donald Trump thinking about joining this debate? According to TMZ‚ the Secret Service was spotted scoping out the venue. Trump is the only GOP presidential candidate with Secret Service protection. TMZ reports: Donald Trump may be thinking about going head-to-head with the other Republicans who are challenging him for the presidential nomination because we’ve learned the Secret Service has already scoped out the venue. The next debate is scheduled for December 6 at the Moody Music Building Concert Hall at the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa. The debate will be carried live on NewsNation. The network announced last Thursday it will host the debate‚ and sources with direct knowledge tell TMZ … that same day Secret Service agents came to the venue and walked the premises … inside and out. The only candidate who has Secret Service protection is Donald Trump‚ who‚ as a former President‚ will be shadowed for life by the agency. Trump has passed on the previous debates this year and there has been no obvious evidence he’ll change course‚ given he’s light-years ahead of the other candidates in the polls. But the Secret Service walk-through suggests he’s thinking about showing up. If Trump decides to skip the Tuscaloosa showdown‚ it may include only three participants. NBC News reports: According to an NBC News analysis‚ three non-Trump candidates so far have appeared to meet the Republican National Committee’s higher donor requirement (80‚000) and polling threshold (at least 6% in two national polls — or 6% in one national poll and two different early-state polls). Those three are Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis‚ former U.N. Ambassador Nikki Haley and entrepreneur Vivek Ramaswamy. On Monday‚ NBC’s Emma Barnett reported that former New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie’s campaign said it’s met the 80‚000-donor requirement. But it’s unclear if Christie has cleared the polling threshold. (The Christie campaign has pointed to getting at least 6% in two different national polls‚ but those surveys don’t appear to abide by the RNC’s polling qualifications‚ though the RNC has the final word.) The debates have certainly winnowed the GOP presidential field: Former Vice President Mike Pence ended his campaign before last week’s third debate (when he hadn’t met that debate’s requirements)‚ and Sen. According to recently revealed documents‚ the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) halted a probe into a suspected pedophile to focus on J6 suspects. “On January 6‚ 2021‚ the FBI explicitly chose to abandon a sting on a child pornographer in Virginia who was messaging with an undercover agent about having sex with a nine-year-old boy‚” The Daily Wire reports. “On December 2‚ 2020‚ a Task Force Officer (TFO) for the FBI‚ Washington Field Office‚ acting in an undercover capacity‚ posing as a father with a nine-year-old son (FATHER)‚ was invited to join a private group on APP1. The purpose of the group was to discuss the sexual abuse of minor boys as well as the sharing of Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM) of minor boys. APP1 user “gayboy69freak”‚ subsequently identified as the Defendant‚ Brogan Welsh (WELSH)‚ sent a direct message to FATHER stating he was a 28-year-old male residing in Richmond‚ Virginia‚ who had a sexual interest in minor children as young as five years old‚” the court documents read. “APP1 user “gayboy69freak” expressed interest in traveling to Washington‚ DC to engage in sexual contact with the purported nine-year-old son of FATHER. APP1 user “gayboy69freak” expressed interest in urinating on children and disclosed to FATHER he had sexual contact with a younger cousin. Over the course of several weeks APP1 user “gayboy69freak” communicated with FATHER about traveling to engage in sex with the purported nine-year-old boy‚” the documents read. The IP address led the FBI to Brogan Welsh of Glenn Allen‚ Virginia‚ and it seemed the agency had everything needed to make an arrest. However‚ the investigation was halted due to J6. “On January 6‚ 2021‚ FBI‚ Washington Field Office‚ this investigation was halted due to events that occurred at the United States Capitol Building that day‚” the documents read. On October 24‚ 2023‚ after coming across troubling chats from Welsh on a phone they seized from a different alleged pervert‚ Alaska FBI agents went into his house and “located items including sex toys that are very small in size and apparently consistent with the body size of an approximate 10-year-old boy‚” as well as children’s underwear. “The investigation has revealed that a 10-year-old boy was‚ in fact‚ residing at the residence belonging to Welsh‚” the agents wrote. In other words‚ because the FBI called off the dogs even after Welsh sent child porn to an FBI agent‚ he appears to have gone on to molest a 10-year-old. It was as FBI agents worked through the Alaska case that they realized that the bureau’s Washington Field Office had slam-dunk evidence that it had never bothered to do anything with‚ and added it to charging documents filed November 6‚ 2023. The Alaska arrest of Welsh was made based on the initial child pornography crime in Virginia‚ not even his apparent crimes in Alaska. The Washington Field Office wouldn’t say how many other ordinary criminal investigations were put on hold because of January 6‚ but it did acknowledge that resources were diverted. “In the immediate aftermath of the January 6 attack on the U.S. Capitol‚ WFO resources were surged to support the FBI’s response and investigation‚” the office told The Daily Wire in a statement. “However‚ WFO continued to diligently pursue its ongoing investigations. While we can’t speak to the specific circumstances of this case‚ the FBI takes all crimes against children investigations extremely seriously‚ and we must follow the facts where they lead and collect enough evidence to pursue prosecution.” This sort of admission‚ that a case was dropped‚ rarely appears in court filings‚ because a dropped investigation means nothing ever makes it to court. He is recently married‚ he has two small children and he’s currently in a critical state.” Paul Sanchez works nearby and said when Schmidt was out preaching‚ some people drove by screaming and cursing at him. “There was a lot of everything‚ really—hateful comments‚ people yelling at him‚ ‘get off the street‚’ all sorts of mean things‚” he said. Sanchez never imagined things would escalate‚ especially since he says Schmidt never confronted anyone or responded to the mean comments. Larry Dettman was at services at the church on Wednesday night when the pastor announced what happened. Minutes later‚ the pastor left for the hospital to check on Schmidt. “Out of nowhere‚ how does this happen? There’s some real evil in this world‚ bunch of human junk in their life and they take it out on somebody else‚” Dettman said. “Now‚ 51st Avenue is a very busy intersection‚ so we know for a fact that there were people in the area‚ there were vehicles driving within the area‚” Officer Winn said. “So we believe there is somebody within the Valley that does know something about what happened.” So far‚ no arrests have been made and Glendale police are asking anyone with information to contact the department at 623-930-3000‚ or Silent Witness at 480-WITNESS or 480-TESTIGO for Spanish speakers. “Victory Chapel is raising money for Schmidt’s medical expenses‚” the outlet added.
