The perfect Thanksgiving show. Personally, I haven’t watched the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade in years, even when it’s been on in the background of a Thanksgiving gathering, and if you’re in the same boat and want something different to watch this year, Dolly Parton has you covered. Back in November of 1987, she released A Tennessee Mountain Thanksgiving as a holiday special, which was filmed in and around her hometown near Sevierville, Tennessee. Dolly gathered her family to sing standards like “In The Pines,” “Daddy Was an Old Time Preacher Man,” “On Top of Old Smokey,” “In the Sweet By and By” and more, and of course, the entire Parton family is incredibly talented so each performance is spectacular. In addition to performances from Dolly and her family and some funny comedic bits, she takes you back to her old one-bedroom homestead in the east Tennessee mountains to see the magic that exists there, which also features some precious conversation with her late parents. They talk about the “hard times” they had living up in the holler, and also how much they loved it the simpler times, and Dolly also reminds viewers that Smoky Mountain girls don’t play games, which was honestly my favorite part of the special: @whiskeyriff Iconic @Dolly Parton #whiskeyriff ♬ original sound – Whiskey Riff Dolly talks about her cherished childhood and growing up “poor,” noting that she didn’t even know she was until someone told her that… her family had a simple life, where they worked hard, grew everything they ate, and didn’t worry about the things that people with money did. They were rich in the ways that matter, and had a magical place to live in the Smoky Mountains of east Tennessee: “You know, these are the fields where I used to walk as a kid. And I not only walked these fields, but we used to work the fields. We used to grow just about everything we ate, and of course, I don’t remember us being poor, and we didn’t know we was poor until some smart Alec up and told us that. But anyway, I remember that we had a lot of good times, we had a lot of music, and I certainly had a lot of dreams. and my mama always told me that I could have anything if I could dream big enough, and I believed her. And of course, I remember many things, lots of kids, lots of babies crying, but you know, there was something magical about these mountains, and I never will forget it. You know, these are the kinds of memories that keep me sane, even roaming around out in Hollywood and other places I go, I think of mama and daddy, and my brothers and sisters and the good life we had here.” She’s always been so connected to where she comes from, and it serves as a beautiful reminder for all of us on a holiday like Thanksgiving, that’s meant to be reflective and introspective. If this is true… that’s a little weird. We have officially passed the first anniversary of Zach Bryan and Brianna Chickenfry announcing they had gone their separate ways, and we are still talking about Zach Bryan and Brianna Chickenfry like they broke up a month ago… Well, Brianna’s talking about him like that still. While the chatter between these two has slowed down some in the last few months, Brianna is still taking a shot or two at the “High Road” singer when she can, or at his new girlfriend, Samantha Leonard. After being linked to a few women, Zach Bryan is now official with a woman named Samantha, who just so happens to be a doppelgänger of Brianna Chickenfry. I mean, it is scary how similar they look… nobody can make a good faith argument otherwise. Bri hinted at how wild the new girlfriend’s similarities to her are before, and earlier this summer, she and several of her fellow Barstool employees have been participating in the “Barstool Beach House,” a Jersey Shore-like reality show that’s basically meant to stir up drama for entertainment. And they recently shared a clip of Bri and a few of her coworkers talking about Samantha and how she is Bri’s doppelgänger. Aside from Barstool employee Tommy Smokes saying Samantha had DM’d him about six months ago, which honestly I didn’t find that interesting, Bri admitted that she even does double takes online when Samantha’s face pops up on her feed because they look so much alike: “I literally see pictures, and I’m like, ‘When did I take that?’ Like I’m scrolling my TikTok and see a picture, and I’m like, ‘When did I take that?’” They all agreed and said Samantha was Bri’s “clone,” which she fully agreed with and seemed pretty happy about, giving a little hair flip at the end: “I know. ‘Your new girl is my clone…’” View this post on Instagram Once the internet chimed in on their similarities, Brianna Chickenfry dyed her hair, which many felt was a move to give herself more identity beyond her former relationship with Zach Bryan and to reclaim herself after all the comparisons. However, that did not stop her followers from still sending her posts from Samantha, calling out their similarities. In a Plan Bri Uncut episode from earlier this fall, Brianna Chickenfry answered some questions she’s repeatedly been getting from fans, one of which was how she truly feels about how similar she and Samantha look. “Next question is, that I got a million times, what do you think about Zach’s girlfriend looking exactly like you? I think this is narcissism textbook 101, it’s like, that’s what narcissists do they just go and like find another version of you to date. People are like, ‘Are you creeped out? Are you mad? Are you annoyed? Are you flattered?’ I’m flattered to be honest. But I don’t really… I dyed my hair so that people would stop sending me every single picture he posts of her, and like I blocked him, so I can’t see it when you send it to me. But then they will screenshot it and send it to me, and I’m like, ‘I don’t want to see this.’ I don’t indulge anything he does. The only time he comes across my desk is when he like jumps over fences or like talks about ICE. Like that’s the only time that he comes across my desk, when he’s in the news. I have him blocked on everything, so I only see articles when they come up on my for you page.” She sure does talk about him a lot, given that he’s blocked… But she goes back to the topic of Samantha and claims that fans have yelled at her for getting back together with ZB after seeing pictures of him and Samantha together. However, it does not end there. In the most recent episode of Plan Bri Uncut, titled “My Hairdresser Spilled The Drama,” Brianna says her longtime hairdresser and friend, Lily, shared some compelling information about Zach Bryan’s new girlfriend. “She was going to tell me that girls came in to see her, all these girls that he was cheating on me with. I was like, ‘It’s fine, there’s more that come out of the woodworks all the time.’ But I was like, I still don’t want to hear it, I’m so over it. But what she told me was honestly was even more like it was amazing. I was like, ‘No f***ing shit.” I mean, obviously, but get ready for the tea.” Brianna then says that her hairdresser wanted to make a TikTok about this story, and she will if fans don’t believe this story. However, Brianna told her that since she’s used to getting heat from those online, she was happy to share the story on her platform. (And let’s not kid ourselves, she probably wanted to share to get some more headlines online since she loves to talk about her ex on her platform.) “She goes, ‘Bri, this girl comes in like right after we went out to dinner.’ And obviously, I’m already broken up with at this point. The girl comes in and shows my ‘Sports Illustrated’ cover as her inspiration picture to the assistants or whatever. And she’s like, ‘I want my hair to look like this,’ and it’s me. So she sits down in Lily’s chair, and Lily’s talking to her, and she’s like, ‘So how did you get recommended here?’ Or whatever. And she’s like, ‘Oh my friend!'” Brianna’s hair stylist then asked the young woman who her friend was, to which she replied, “Brianna.” Once Lily asked how she was friends with Brianna, she changed her story, noting that Brianna was a “friend of a friend and she heard through the grapevine to come here.” Brianna noted that people going to that saloon after seeing that she uses their services is not uncommon. Bri claims she used to post about this place all the time and that her hairdresser has been part of all her hair transformations, so her followers know the quality of work this salon is capable of. However, this particular client might have had a motive other than going to a highly raved-about place of business. “And this girl doubles down and is like, ‘Oh, I don’t know her, she’s a friend of a friend.’ And she was showing my picture for inspiration. It was Zach’s new girlfriend… Or are they married now? I’m like, bro… they are perfect for each other! That is so f****** honestly sad, and deranged. It makes me… that’s sad and deranged, dude… It just makes you feel bad for that person after I came forward with all the abuse. She’s showing the picture of my ‘Sports Illustrated’ cover, and the basis of that cover was to fight against abusive men, which is the man she’s seeking out.  It’s sad. I feel bad for the girl, to be honest, because I know what she’s stuck with. But like she wanted that. It’s just crazy, it’s so deranged to go in and show me as an inspo pic and pretend to be my friend.”  If that is true, it is a little concerning. Of course, everything said online needs to be taken with a grain of salt, and given that Samantha Leonard has yet to respond to anything Bri has said about her online, I’m sure this instance will be no different, and she will keep on living her life. Also, given that there has been online discussion for quite some time about how similar these two look, it is interesting that this information is just now coming to light. The timeline of when this information was shared with Brianna was not disclosed, but you’d have to think she would have learned about it way back when this conversation first started, given that she, too, changed her hair color frequently.
